First Movie we got on the Hype Train is “Annihilation” a sci-fi epic that looks to bring as much drama and action to the screen as it does self reflect starring Natalie Portman, and fellow Star Wars Alumni Oscarr Isacc. Fox is looking to change up our tv show a bit with two female led series the first being a female led series version of the “Nice Guys” while the next will serve a sequel to the original “Kung Fu” being a Female led story that basically mirrors the original except taking place in the 1950’s. Next up a perfect entry into the month of October we have a plethora of news coming for Warner Bros. regarding Horror films after the mega hit “IT” passes the 500 million mark. In “In Our Queue” we mourn the passing of Chester Bennington and George Romero. We follow up on our promise to watch “Friends from College” on Netflix and we all united with similar opinions on the show. Twowolvzz gives his take on HBO’s documentary “The Defiant Ones,” then Cajun updates and improves his opinion of Hulu’s “The Handmaid’s Tale,” and finally Damian updates us on plot advances in “The Mist” series. Our “Hype Train” this week rolls out of Disney’s D23 conference with opinions on all the relevant reveals. We give our take on the first female Dr in “Dr Who” history.
