Jim Malliard welcomes Tanner Campbell to the show. Tanner is a philosophy writer and podcaster who focuses on bringing the philosophy of stoicism out of the pages of history and modernizing it to a more practical and useful way of individuals living today. During the interview, Tanner discusses his new book, Living Well: Stoic Ideas for a Better Life, and how stoicism can be applied to modern day situations. He shares some tips on how to live a more stoic life, including the importance of self-awareness, focus, and detachment. Zeno of Citium was a Greek philosopher who founded the Stoic school of thought in 300 BCE. He got the idea for Stoicism after he was shipwrecked and lost everything he owned. He went to the Oracle of Delphi for guidance and she told him to take on the power of the dead. Zeno interpreted this to mean that he should study the great thinkers of the past and learn from their wisdom. Stoicism is a philosophy that emphasizes self-control, rationality, and stoic acceptance of the things we cannot change.   In the 300 BC, a man named Zeno of Citium had a dream in which the goddess Athena told him to become a philosopher. He took this to mean that he should become pale like the dead, as pale people at the time were often indoors reading books. He went on to found the philosophy of Stoicism, which is based on the idea that the only good is the development of a virtuous character. Stoicism quickly caught on, and Marcus Aurelius, who reigned from 160-180 AD, is considered the poster boy of Stoicism. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Todd and Mike review how the predictions panned out for this last year. Also, Mike had a little fun with the RoadCaster Pro's cart buttons :) Todd paid the $1 bet.  It was fun and a little rough around the edges. Happy New Year!  See ya in 2023! Thanks for joining us on this episode of Podcast Insider. Looking to be a guest on the show? Let us know. Emails are listed at the bottom of show notes. Carolyn Berry from Adventures with Grammy, says her show will double its listeners in 2022.  ( good plug! )  Don't know.  Carolyn?  Did it double?  Maxwell Ivey Jr. from What's Your Excuse network and The Blind Blogger says: I predict even more people, companies, and organizations will launch podcasts. I predict Spotify and others will continue to try to win the podcasting world like it's a game of monopoly. I predict that more people will be hosting with Blubrry. Dave Keeshan from The Future is Not Set, I predict the option to open a payment stream to podcasts will increase. So far Patreon and buymeacoffee.com are sorta fits. The start of tipping, or lightning/crypto payments, or anything that can be done from a handheld device will become more common. This will hopefully happen as a result of people's frustration with the increase of ads into their podcast experience. Hopefully, this will also lead to a more dynamic podcast, where they can be delivered with and without ads. There will be more live streaming like events/productions. Clubhouse, Fireside, Wisdom, are all chasing "something". The thing, live, interactive audio, which can be recorded and released later as a podcast, maybe as different as radio shows are to podcasts (which are also released after the fact as podcasts) The CHECK YOUR HEAD Podcast's prediction for 2022 @checkheadpod is that it will be the biggest year for podcast growth as more people turn to #podcasts for safe, enjoyable & free entertainment during #pandemiclife.  Josh - Tips of the Slung I wouldn't be surprised if some of the shows under the banners of bigger companies (in particular shows that were independent and successful prior to signing) try to break their contracts and go indie again. Daniel J. Lewis from Audacity to Podcast -  I expect we'll see another huge platform support podcasts—maybe Microsoft, Twitter, or LinkedIn. Also much bigger adoption of Podcasting 2.0. Jim Malliard from The Malliard Report:  I predict Spotify will close the free version of anchor and try to recruit shows to only be on Spotify, only with free music accounts. Articles: HotPod / The Verge's predictions (toward the bottom of this article) Pacific Content's Annual Prediction article Kids' Podcast Predictions for 2022 From the Team: Toby Goodman from Blubrry Pro Production:  There will be at least one best selling book about podcasting coming in late Feb! (hint: Toby is writing a book)  :) Ultimately I say this... The industry will be split into even more subsections from a revenue-generating standpoint. I don't think paid subscriptions will grow wildly unless podcasters are prepared to give more than just... more audio away. ie: More in-person events, memberships… Barry Kantz -  I think the blockchain will have an impact on podcasting over the next couple of years. Todd's Predictions:  Facebook will be #2 by end of 2022  (BONK!) More consolidation of conglomerates buying podcast companies (Some) More advertising opportunities for independent podcasters (Yes) The growth of the podcast space will go back to pre-pandemic levels (Maybe?) More companies will exercise private podcasting in their organizations (Some) Anchor will add another million dead show (Yes) Apple will open up API submission to Apple Podcasts (soon) Mike's Predictions:  Facebook WILL NOT be the #2 listening platform by the end of 2022. (Yes!) Soundcloud will still exist (even though I've been predicting its death for years). (yes)

Every week, an experienced panel of podcasters and other experts will tackle your podcasting questions.[00:00:48]Jeff Townsend: I've got the gift to Gab and the fifth to Jab. After that, they get weirder every week. Do you just talk too much? It sounds like a good thing.[00:01:44]Well, hello, everybody. Oldest guy in podcasting on the mic. It is an honor to be here. This is a long intro, though. Well, edit it's, because you're making it long.[00:02:08]Jim Mallard has the Mallard report for ten years strong. Ed Havens is here from the 80s movie. This is the greatest podcasting power hour of all time.[00:03:09]Chuckles is here in her first-ever Podcasting Power Hour. That's who you hear hitting all the sound effects. As far as my self-control is concerned, I also muted myself for quite some time. I think you're displaying a solid use of the controls there, so thank you.[00:03:56]This week was the very first week that all my TV movie fandom shows are live. The Indie Drop-in Network is 100% a feed drop network. The show shows are all about podcasters.[00:05:44]A feed drop is when you take an episode of your show and give it to another podcaster to play on their show. For most podcasters, you want very few feed drops in your feed. If there are too many feed drops, the audience starts to get pissed.[00:09:34]Jeff: Maybe we can talk about how to choose a show for a Feed Drop. I think Jeff, you feed dropped on True Crime, which has like a million-something downloads. But very few people go on the show notes and click the subscribe link.[00:12:20]The downloads are great, but I didn't see the conversion on my end. It's because the True Crime fans I've marketed to are very specifically true crime listeners. There just was no reason for them to convert to a listener of Indie podcasters. If done right, it really can work.[00:16:46]comedy is not really like a niche, it's more of like something that you add to a niche. These shows are consistently funny, their tone is consistent. Those convert higher. When the show doesn't have a personality, it doesn't have a vibe. That's when it seems to struggle.[00:22:44]A feed drop is when you use a previous show of a friend to fill in a slot. The best thing to do is do feed drop swaps because it's good for everybody. If you're taking a week off, record a different intro than a regular swap.[00:30:49]And it doesn't work if you don't tell people what their show is about. What I started doing is saying, hey, Jim, just feed Dropped a show. He doesn't talk paranormal all the time, but he had this awesome ghost hunter on. It's totally different.[00:32:06]Who you swap with is much more important than how large the show is. It's like a massive filter for quality listeners. Having people on your show is content for your listeners, not really to grow it.[00:37:17]Jeff: Niche is so important, and I think it's more important than ever in podcasting. Your show needs to be amazing before you get featured on. People should definitely submit to ads. The key is you have to do that stuff when you're ready.[00:40:39]Gregory: How do you approach the other podcast that you're wanting to feed Drop swap with? Greg: I would start with under 200 reviews on Apple podcasts. You could probably do it every single month successfully and without pissing off your fans.[00:45:54]This week's podcasting power hour airs live every Monday at 09:00 p. m. Eastern. The show is produced by Jeff Pearlman. Everyone is free to participate on Twitter every Monday. Even though it feels like we are still stuck in 2020, we have quickly found ourselves staring down the tail end of 2022 and that can mean only one thing. Yes, that is right, November is here and that can mean only one thing. It is the annual Jim Malliard prediction show.It would be probably safe to say that everyone is going into 2023 with the utmost hesitation. The last three years have brought an absolute crap shoot of historical acts, and the predictions reflect as such. One would hope to see prosperity and good tidings for the year, but it seems more like a dystopic sci-fi novel. As we steer closer to making Orwell fact instead of fiction let's looks at a few of the other predictions for this year:Could there be more “riots” this year? It does seem that tensions are already high, and the proverbial pot is just getting hotter. It almost feels like the powers that be are setting the stage for a fiery second act.Space Force. Seemingly a joke by the other branches of the military (YouTuber Nikko Ortiz has some of the best content for this) will finally have their time to shine; showcasing tech and weaponry that far exceeds what we could even imagine. The end of Twitter? (Poor Jim) With the recent take over by Elon Musk, Twitter seems to be in absolute upheaval. Could this be the start of the end for the once powerhouse platform? These and many other predictions were shared on this episode, and if any of them come true, it will certainly make for an interesting year. After all these years, we've gotten to know the voice of the great Jim Malliard quite well. We know his foray into the paranormal. Struggles and achievements in the world of maintaining a podcast for more than a decade (and the strange cast of characters he keeps around to help with it), and even some of his interests and hobbies outside of life behind the mic, but very, very rarely does the curtain blow enough in the ethereal breeze that we get a true peek into the world of the “duck master” himself. This week, the breeze of destiny just so happens to be working in our favor with Jim's featured guest, and that curtain is blown wide open. This week Jim welcomes his better half, the one and only, Tabby (Mrs. Duck Master) Malliard. It has been eight long years since we have had the absolute privilege to have Tabby on the show, and this week we finally break that much too long absence. Tabby joins Jim to share some insight into what a day in the life looks like. From overcoming some serious health challenges, taking on a menagerie of pets, to even just the chaotic day-to-day life that comes with having kids, we get to hear about it all. Tabby has a truly fascinating story to tell, especially about when her and Jim first got together. (Imagine going on your first date with someone to only have to tell them in a few days you have to undergo a life-altering surgery) This is fantastic episode and a privilege to be able to have Tabby on. 02052019Every year the President of The United States gives a speech on the intendeddirection of the nation and goals that are hoped to be achieved. Just as POTUSpontificates on the possibilities of the upcoming year, Jim Malliard muses over themysterious and the direction of the unusual in his Paranormal State of The Union.A topic and question that is a frequently discussed on this show is the futureof paranormal investigations. The early-mid to late 00s so the rise of paranormalinvestigations in popular culture with many shows exploding on to the scene;drawing huge views, fan-bases, the creation of larger than life personalities, and anew found infatuation with the ethereal that had not been seen since the likes ofVictorian era parlor days. However, like most trends (like it or not, there is nodenying that the paranormal search wave was in fact a trend) it eventually wanedinto an existence that is more hum drum now than exhilarating. Even those of usthat have had a lifetime interest in the unknown eventually grow bored with seeingthe same overreactions or painfully overhyped lack of evidence. (An experiencedresearcher should not have a near meltdown freak-out over every EVP and how canyou tell me you are an expert in Sasquatch behaviors, if you cannot provide truephysical evidence for one. Plus let's be honest, Sasquatches like rave music andcookouts? Really?)So the question to be had is “where is the future of paranormal researchgoing?” Actually, within this episode, Jim poses the question of who will be the nextgeneration to take up that mantle. While there are still a very small handful oftelevision shows still making the rounds on syndicated TV, there is nothing newcoming out of these, and while they continue to churn out the same story over andover again, a new breed of investigator is beginning to stir things up. The future ofinvestigating has seemed to shift into the field of strictly ITC. Researchers are nowfocusing less on capturing that proverbial golden egg full-bodied apparition, andworking towards making direct contact with spirits. In addition, these researchersare stepping away from outdated philosophies of only high end, super expensiveequipment should be used, and instead finding ways to utilize more obtainable, andoften far more reasonably priced means and often achieve outstanding results. Withmodern pioneers in this field such as Josh Hope of Hope Paranormal and Steve Huffof Huff Paranormal breaking new headway, and not caving to commercial basedtelevision, it could be bold, but a possibility to say that a bright new future is on thehorizon.Every year this is a great episode, and 2019 is no exception. There is much, much more covered than what is mentioned in the preceding notes but why shouldthe whole show be spoiled within the notes here. Just give it a listen for yourself. 09252018No matter what side of the “political fence” you sit on (or if you even believe that there are sides at all) there is absolutely no denying that the current “fake news” movement is causing a number of problems. With many of the larger online entities (e.g., Google, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) nerfing most of their searches so as to weed out thoughts and ideas that differ from that of the “mainstream” and even outright banning personalities and shows, it is safe to say that the whole thing is mess. However, not all hope is to be lost in an Orwellian dystopia. More and more it is becoming apparent that a push back against the censorship is taking place. One example of this would be the legal battle that is taking place between Alex Jones and PayPal. We will not get into a discussion about Jones in this particular time and place, but it is refreshing to see someone taking a stance. (Love him or hate him, you have to give him that.)This week's first guest (This show is a great two for episode. Or would it be more of a BOGO? Either way you get a great deal) is no stranger to the truculent approach to alternative media and continues to see a rise in popularity due to the jingoism of the “mainstream” media. The Gateway Pundit founder and journalist Jim Hoft joins Jim Malliard to discuss numerous events that are taking place in the circus that fills our newsfeeds: From the cesspit and clique mentality of the Whitehouse Press pool, the censorship coming down from the tech giants to Hoft's scheduled testimony on Capitol Hill, the discussion is incredibly informative. Hoft and Malliard also discuss the very peculiar events that have transpired in Alamogordo New Mexico over the last few weeks at a solar observatory. The FBI has shut down the observatory for unknown “security reasons.” Other than the generic “security reasons”, no further information has been given, but large teams, and even black hawk helicopters have been seen in the area. Whatever is going on there is obviously something big and is not being reported in odd “fringe” publications either. This story ran in Popular Mechanics.Following the interview with Jim Hoft, Jim Malliard then shifts gears drastically and welcomes a returning guest to the show, Daniel Abella. Daniel has previously graced the show in regards to the Phillip K. Dick film festival but this week he his promoting an entirely new “experience.” When people often hear the term “psychedelic” they assume that one is referring to various substances that cause an altered mental state. Many believe that the only means to reach these other planes of existence is to undergo a substance-induced state, but Daniel's newest undertaking is out to prove this wrong. The Psychedelic Film and Music Festival is an exhibition of music, film, and art that is supposed to take the viewer to a whole new level. Psychedelia is about substance, but substance of material. This is great double episode that covers two completely different topics but still a great episode as a whole. Hawaii Missile Alert: The STRANGE Narrative - Interview with Jim Malliard

Paranormal Investigator Jim Malliard and host David Perrodin discuss the puzzling inconsistencies of the January 13, 2018 notification that Hawaii was minutes from a ballistic missile impact.  Although the alert was an error, the circumstances of the event are convoluted and information released since the flub only adds to the confusion.  Jim and David smoke out some of the possible truths of this rapidly hushed incident.  THE EVENT.  "An early-morning emergency alert mistakenly warning of an incoming ballistic missile attack was dispatched to cellphones across Hawaii on Saturday, setting off widespread panic in a state that was already on edge because of escalating tensions between the United States and North Korea. The alert, sent by the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency, was revoked 38 minutes after it was issued, prompting confusion over why it was released — and why it took so long to rescind. State officials and residents of a normally tranquil part of the Pacific, as well as tourists swept up in the panic, immediately expressed outrage." (NYT - January 13, 2018)  HOW ALERTS ARE SUPPOSED TO WORK.  To describe the steps in issuing an inbound missile to the United States, Dr. Perrodin extracted upon his personal research of the 9/11 attacks and the change that day in national DEFCON status from a 5 (lowest state of readiness) to 3 (Air Force ready to mobilize in 15 minutes). The DEFense readiness CONdition (DEFCON) is an alert state used by the United States Armed Forces and is controlled by the President and Secretary of Defense.  David argued that his interpretation has always been that the (1) North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) would detect the threat through satellites, seismic or other sensors. (2) US Strategic Command (STRATCOMM) would then verify the threat through various tracking and confirmation measures, (3) STRATCOMM would inform the President and Secretary of Defense and a decision would be made regarding the US response, which might result in a change of the DEFCON status which then triggers a prescribed sequence of readiness and offensive tactics.  It is at this step that the Emergency Broadcast System (EBS) would be activated by the President and messages would be delivered via EBS as an expeditious method of communicating with the American public in the event of a war, threat of war, or grave national crisis.  Hence, the Hawaii alert warning should not have been possible as any such warning would have been per directive of the President.  THE STORY ISN'T MAKING SENSE.  Jim Malliard pointed out several discrepancies with the missile alert and subsequent actions, including: Why wasn't it possible to immediately send a corrective message from the same system that sent the false alert? If this was a drill, why not just send out a message stating that this is a test of the emergency alert system – and only a test – there would be no need to state that it was a missile warning? The corrective measures now includes a second verify that the alert should be issued – this seems woefully inadequate relative to the degree of the threat. Why is the employee responsible for this not responding to questing and why was he re-assigned?  This suggests that the act might have been a prank that got out of hand, but wouldn't that result in immediate termination? If this was a flaw in the system, then this mistake could have been made by any employee, so why re-assign this person? Could this have been a hack? If so, the lack of media coverage certainly supports a narrative of wanting to bury this incident. Why hasn't NORAD or STRATCOMM chimed in on this – perhaps denoting the standard operating procedures, sans guarded information, of how the American public would be warned of an inbound missile? 03072017 This week on The Malliard Report Jim once again is hosting phone calls and talking conspiracy. Straying from the traditional host/guest format, Jim opens up the forums to discussion to get the chatter going on conspiracies; both popular and lesser known. Get comfortable, open your mind, and challenge your preconceived notions to the “official stories”. If you have been a listener to the show for any length of time, you should be familiar with some of the more widely known conspiracies (e.g. 9/11, Sandy Hook, JFK, etc.) so this week we will focus on some of the lesser known theories. They say that the sun never sets on The British Empire and such was the case for four mop headed youths from Liverpool. Gaining some notoriety under the moniker “The Quarrymen” during the late 1950s, they soon switched the name and band member lineup, and by 1963 Beatlemania had taken over the world. But all was not well for The Fab Four, and while appearing to be at the pinnacle of success, frustrations soon reached a tipping point. Following a heated argument between John and Paul over creative differences during the Abbey Road recordings, Paul stormed out of the studio and decided to go for a drive to clear his head. (This is where the conspiracy kicks in) According to the theory, while on this drive, Paul lost control of his Aston and was killed in the crash. Fearing mass hysteria and substantial profit losses, record execs and other various powers that be suppress the news of Paul's death and scramble to find a replacement. Holding a Paul McCartney Look Alike contest, William (Billy Shears) Campbell was chosen, whisked off to a plastic surgeon and vocal coach, and quickly took on the role of Paul. While only originally planned to last the remainder of the Abbey Road sessions/tour, William became obsessed with playing the part and forced the other Beatles to continue on. It is rumored that many clues have been left behind from the surviving band members in the form of backward masked messages in songs such as “Paul is dead I miss him, I miss him” in the song “I'm so tired” and “I buried Paul” in “Strawberry Fields Forever” among many, many others. Also, many hidden iconography such as bass guitar wreath hidden on the Sgt. Pepper's album cover, and Paul being the only one bare foot on the Abbey Road album cover. (There are many, many others out there, but we recommend that you search them out for yourself). Other theories include that William Campbell is still playing Paul and that the “real” Paul did not die in 1966 but just had quit the band instead, or that Paul really is Paul, and that they knew of these rumors, and being the jokesters that they were just played off of them. Leaving “clues” for people just to mess with them. One conspiracy theory that seems to be gaining a lot of traction as of late, and seems to be drawing a lot of controversy (but don't they all?) is that of Holocaust Revisionism. According to the official story during the Second World War, more than six million Jewish prisoners were executed in Nazi internment camps throughout Germany and Poland. As stigma from alleged anti-Semitism claims lessens, more people are beginning to fact check the numbers that have been taught to us in our history lessons. While there is no denying that atrocities did in fact happen at these camps, it is becoming evident that it was not to the levels originally propagated and that Jewish prisoners were not the only ones being subjected to these horrors. What drives the speculation to these claims even further is the en-masse attempts to stop or demonize such research. If it did in fact happen the way that they claim, then there should be no reason to worry right? The above examples are just the tip of the tip of the iceberg when it comes to these theories, and these two theories are only the beginning to a very deep, twisting path. While it may seem daunting, we encourage you to venture down this path. Check these claims for yourself. Do the research, and check your sources. 07192016 Gear talk, conspiracy theories, and investigative locations. While this may sound like a typical episode of The Malliard Report, it does stray a bit from the norm. On this episode, the featured guest is none other than…Jim Malliard. While the duck may be flying solo, there is no shortage of great discussion, and thought-invoking topics.Paranormal investigations are a difficult egg to crack. There are few fields that have as many relative variables as that of the paranormal. Some people may yield incredible results with one piece gear while others may have no luck at all. Someone may visit a location that is absolutely ripe with activity only to return at later time and find the snacks that they brought along more interesting than the investigation itself. (True story)As with any sort of “hobby/interest” the gear used can very easily become a sticky topic to discuss, and the paranormal field is no exception. You have those that believe that only the most expensive of cameras and recorders will gather any evidence, some may only use certain pieces and show utter disdain for others. (The Spirit Box is a great example of this) There is the school of thought that old world methods are best while others may completely write the idea off and stick with only the latest and most high tech. The bottom line is this: What works best for YOU as an investigator? Caught some of your best evidence with a point and shoot camera and a digital recorder and that's what you enjoy using? Then use it! Want to throw some hefty cash down on a full spectrum camera and an Ovilus 5? Go for it! Think the Ouija board is total bunk? Then don't use one. It is all really that simple. Remember it is what works best and yields the best results for you, the investigator.Location, location, location. Always important, is it not? In this episode, the topic of various locations does come up. Some famous ones, others lesser known, but the one that brings up some of the strongest opinion is that of cemeteries, and this is for several reasons. There are multiple schools of thought when it comes to cemeteries and the investigation of them. Some believe that there are some cemeteries out there that are very active and you are able to gather some fantastic evidence while others believe you will not find anything at all in them.Whether you believe in either one of these ideas it is recommended that you do not investigate cemeteries, and there are two main reasons why. One is that in some areas it can be considered trespassing, and this could end up causing unwanted trouble that you don't want to deal with. Second is safety. Cemeteries can be a very dangerous place at night, especially if you are unfamiliar with the area. Now the fourth wall is going to be broken here, and as the writer will tell a story from my personal repertoire as to why cemeteries are a bad idea, especially at night. I have a couple of friends that are filmmakers, and at the time I was helping them with a horror short that they were shooting. We scouted an old cemetery in a small town about sixty miles from where we lived and visited it several times in order to plan out how and where we would shoot. As we were setting up a scene the night of the shoot, we hear one of the guys yell out, then see him come staggering up to where the rest of us were with his pant leg soaked in blood. While setting up a camera, he crossed paths with a skunk that had decided to explore the cemetery as well. In a fit of panic (everyone was on edge to begin with: dark, cold night in a creepy little town's cemetery will do that to anyone) decided to turn and run from the skunk, tripped over a grave marker and fell shin first onto an exposed pipe. The pipe had cut a gash into his leg approximately six inches long and went all the way to the bone. Here we are, sixty miles from civilization, our buddy bleeding out, and gear spread out everywhere. We eventually got him to the ER (but not without an equally painful and slightly humorous side story that occurred during the trip back, but I'll spare you from that for now. Conspiracy Theories 09222015This weeks show of the Malliard Report is a special one for long time fans and newer listeners alike. In fact, it breaks away from traditional formula to try out something new, and as anyone can attest, it was a pretty good showing all around, and proves once more why Jim Malliard's show is the fastest hour in paranormal talk radio. What makes this weeks showing different from the norm is the fact that Jim didn't have a guest to speak with. Apparently whoever was scheduled to come this week was running a little bit late, and Jim had to wait for him. However, that's alright! Instead, we got to spend our entire hour talking with Jim as he fielded questions from all of his fans as they talked with him through the chat room. Perhaps some other time our guest that was to be on can reschedule, but this week was mostly a discussion between a myriad of different conspiracy theories, as well as the show itself. In fact, this just goes to show any newcomers to the Malliard Report that during the live broadcast, our host Jim does listen to you and engages everyone to the best of his ability. And what a best we got. Starting off, Jim decides to lead us on a discussion talking about a wide range of topics, and what better place to start was Area 51. Mostly the topics regarding the government base covered the usual tropes behind it that any conspiracy theorist already knows, but it also lead to interesting talk about how the government plans to expand the compound area. Of course, this all tied in well with Fort Knox, and the various conspiracies that surround that military installation. Most of which centered around whether or not there's even any gold in there at now, and what would have happened to the gold if it isn't there. Of course, what paranormal show that also includes topics about aliens be complete without aliens and extraterrestrial life? As Jim engaged his audience, the topic of Mars and life out there came up in the self interview, and our host of course had to talk about that and the rovers on Mars and whether or not they've even picked up anything on the red planet. From there, naturally the show moved onto the space landing and whether or not it was faked. In fact everything on the show this week was all centered around our host playing the guest while the fans in the chat room during the taping, turning it instead about Jim Malliard and his views, and that alone made it extra special, as a lot of times it's all about Jim talking to the long list of guests he's had and letting them talk about themselves. So it was an interesting week just having a chance to connect with our host and get to know him as a person as he talked about not only his show and where he intended to take the website, but also about things such as Space Landings, Nazi's, The Second Coming, Men in Black, and where he wants to go from here. In fact, Jim ended  talking so much that he developed a bit of a cough halfway through the show, but kept it going, even talking all the way up to the ending of the show itself. All in all, this isn't a week to miss, but as usual after it's done, keep quacking and we'll see you all next week. This is a public episode.
