Die zurückliegende Woche war eine ereignisreiche im Microsoft-Umfeld. Nachdem der Podcast letzte Woche wegen privater Umstände leider kurzfristig ausfallen musste, haben wir einige interessante Dinge zu besprechen. Microsoft hat in dieser Woche seine aktuellen Geschäftszahlen veröffentlicht und ich musste mich bei der Gelegenheit ein bisschen über unsere Sehnsucht nach schlechten Nachrichten auslassen. Außerdem ging das "neue" OneNote für Windows ebenso an den Start wie Android 12L für das Surface Duo. Ins Ziel kommt dagegen Joe Belfiore von Microsoft, er kündigte in dieser Woche seinen Abschied an und wird wohl in den Ruhestand gehen. Mein persönliches Highlight der Woche war allerdings das Windows Softwareentwicklungskit 2023. Ich hasse diesen Namen, aber in das zugehörige Gerät, den Mini-ARM-PC von Microsoft, habe ich mich augenblicklich verliebt. P.S.: Die Folge wurde neu hochgeladen, weil auf verschiedenen Plattformen Probleme mit der Wiedergabe auftraten oder sie gar nicht erst gelistet wurde.

Meanwhile, Microsoft is rumored to be working on a new "mobile" device codenamed Andromeda, that will launch next year with a version of Windows 10 built with Microsoft's new "Windows Core OS" platform. Will current hardware be compatible with Windows Core OS or will you need a new phone? Microsoft also killing off Groove Music Service The streaming service is being replaced by a deal with Spotify as of December 31st as Microsoft continues to retire more of it's services and divisions. How long until Microsoft just decides to sell off completely to another company? Who says you need a great graphics card to play some good games?
