I'm feeling the pain in your body. In mine. You can feel the charge of our collective wounds if you are a sensitive, intuitive being. Although, you may have numbed or blocked the feelings. There is a way through and out of the stories that keep you frozen or stuck, hiding parts of your heart. Scared of being hurt or rejected. Radical Self-Compassion. Quan Yin and White Tara. Mary Magdalene energy. Call on your guides. Compassion, is suffering with. Being with. But not Being IN the suffering. Not becoming ONE with the wound. Not identifying with the pain as part of your identity. There can be many reasons for our fear and our pain. In our bodies. In our world. In your ancestors. Do you feel the charge and heaviness? Are old, hidden wounds being activated? Feel into the One inside you that can hold All Of You with Fierce Love and Compassion for your journey here. This is power. Radical self-compassion is the foundation for your transformation. You are here. You can only win if you stick to your heart's truth. What is true? Where can you focus your compassion for yourself? You are whole Now. Can you breathe into the part of you feeling “dark,” worried, critical, judgemental (and judged,) sad, or heavy? How can you honor yourself and your soul's journey? What does your body need? Just breathe into your heart and feel your desire for love and acceptance. Feel yourself expanding as you send yourself your own love. Share with me: What part of you needs your radical compassion, & unconditional acceptance? Be the miracle you seek. Be the blessing this world needs. That is power. Remember who you are. Ready? The Hindu and Buddhist Goddess, White Tara, embodies the qualities of compassion, peace and longevity. Holding her in our consciousness reminds us of these qualities in ourselves.
This meditation was recorded live during my free monthly event on 27 May 2023. In this meditation, we connected to Lord Shiva, bringing in the Divine Fire energies to sweep through each participant's energy bodies, releasing all fears, old programming, negative beliefs, falsehood & deception taken on from others, which are not aligned to their highest good to keep. We called upon Lords of Karma to cut away all unnecessary cords, hooks, attachments & imprints connected to other people or situations. We also called upon Saint Germain & ultraviolet fire angels to run the Violet Flame 7 times through each participant's energy bodies, to facilitate a deeper transmutation of dense & discordant energies. Lastly, we called upon 21 emanations of Tara, particularly White Tara, to connect deeply with the energies of Divine Peace into all cells & levels of our being, before merging at one with the Divine Goddess/Feminine energies around us.Special thanks to each participant for holding the sacred space. We look forward to organising the next event soon!
In this episode I have a privilege to discuss with Ken McLeod, who began his study and practice of Buddhism in 1970 under the eminent Tibetan master Kalu Rinpoche. We will be doing in-depth exploration of topics such as What is clear empty knowing - and how does it relate to deity practice of White Tara? How can prayer and meditation come together? Is it possible to follow a ready-made spiritual path? Ken McLeod began his study and practice of Buddhism in 1970 under the eminent Tibetan master Kalu Rinpoche. After completing two three-year retreats, he was appointed as resident teacher for Kalu Rinpoche's center in Los Angeles, California, where he developed innovative approaches to teaching and translation. After his teacher's death in 1989, Ken established Unfettered Mind, a place for those whose path lies outside established institutions. His published works include The Great Path of Awakening, Wake Up to Your Life, An Arrow to the Heart, Reflections on Silver River, A Trackless Path and The Magic of Vajrayana. In this podcast episode, Amritavani shares her journey towards the Dharma, starting from her childhood fascination with something bigger calling her. She talks about her exploration of different spiritual paths, including yoga, Christianity, and the divine feminine, before finally finding her way to the Dharma through a meditation class in Croydon. It was at the Croydon Buddhist Centre that she met two inspiring order members who left a lasting impression on her, Vijayasri and Sucimani, who made her feel accepted and heard, which eventually led her to deepen her exploration of the spiritual life within the context of the Triratna Buddhist Order. Amritavani also speaks movingly about her experience of being a mother and how it informs her practice. With limited retreat time. Working with guilt when she goes away from her young children whilst having limited energy for formal practice because she loves them dearly and needs to take care of them. However, despite these limitations, she often finds herself inspired by her name, which translates to have the word "limitless" in it, challenging any perceived limitations she might have within the moment. Finally, White Tara's warm embrace echoes throughout the interview. Her warm embrace offers the guidance and support needed to deal with the challenges that motherhood and Dharma practice can face. Extracts from this interview were used for the Fifty Years, Fifty Voices project: Visit the Fifty Years, Fifty Voices on The Buddhist Centre Online Recorded in Cambridge with Simone Moore in 2018.
Ushnisha Vijaya, also known as Namgyelma in Tibetan, is one of the most beloved and widely practiced buddhas in Mahayana Buddhism. Why do Vajrayana Buddhists rely on the life-affirming, long-life Buddha Ushnisha Vijaya to support health and auspicious long life? What sutra, taught by the Buddha, contains the teachings on Ushnisha Vijaya and her Dharani? How can we meditate on Ushnisha Vijaya and bring her blessings into our life? We explore these questions in this short documentary on her beloved practice, followed by a short guided meditation with her beautiful long-life mantra, chanted wonderfully by Hrishikesh Sonar. In Vajrayana Buddhist tradition, the Yidam and your mind are inseparable. By visualizing the perfection of glorious long-life Ushnisha Vijaya, we connect our mind with her life-affirming, healing power. We empower our own prajna, or life force to rejuvenate our cells and heal our current physical bodies and minds. Ushnisha Vijaya, as our Yidam — or meditation deity —empowers our healing and long life by providing the perfect template — in Buddhist terms, mandala — to energize our own bodies to heal.Ushnisha Vijaya's practice was taught by Buddha Shakyamuni in the sutra, Usnisihavijaya Sutra, which contains her long Dharani, and the shorter mantra beautifully chanted here by Hrishikesh Sonar.Uṣṇīṣavijayā is considered to be very important throughout the four major lineages the Sakya, Gelug, Nyingma and Kagyu. All regard Her practice as very precious because it clears away the obstacles to life. Also, ultimately, it purifies our own obscurations, our negative karma.” according to the 8th Garchen Rinpoche.Ushnishavijaya translates as Victorious Crown Goddess. She is one of a trinity of long-life Buddhas, including White Tara and Amitayus. Why are long-life Buddhas popular practices?Long-life Buddhas are very popular for good reason. With long life and good health, is the opportunity to practice Dharma. This is especially important in the case of our Buddhist teachers — their long lives benefit so many beings. Yet, equally, for ourselves, not because we cling to this Samsaric life, but because long life and health are conducive to a dedicated Dharma practice.Meditate along with us now, half-closing your eyes to meditate on Emptiness, and glimpsing none other than Ushnisha Vijaya. Visualize her in front of you, with healing white-golden light leaving the crown ushnisha of her head and entering your own crown, filling you with life-affirming light. Feel her healing blessings and warmth.See the glorious image of Ushnishavijaya, in front of you, the colour of an autumn moon, with three faces, white, yellow and blue and eight hands. Each face has three very large eyes. The first right hand holds a vishvavajra, a double vajra, her second hand holding a white lotus with Amitabha Buddha enthroned. Her third hand holds an arrow and the fourth in hand is in the mudra or gesture of supreme generosity. Her first left hand holds a vajra lasso. Her second left hand holds a bow. Her third left hand is in the gesture or mudra of bestowing protection, and her fourth left hand is in the gesture of meditative equipoise, and holding an auspicious nectar vase. She is beautifully adorned with silks and jewel ornaments, and seated in vajra posture.Holding the beautiful image of Ushnisha Vijaya, visualize the healing white-golden light from her crown entering your own body, reinforcing your lifeforce, your chi or prana. Her power, her healing light is removing all your negativities and your obstacles. Her healing light is strengthening you and healing you. Her blessings are filling you with lifeforce.Chant the beautiful mantra of Ushnisha Vijaya allowing the sacred syllables to empower you. Chant along now with Hrishikesh Sonar: Om Brum Svaha Om Amrita Ayur Da Dai SvahaSupport the show

White Tara does this by radiating love and compassion, reminding us all of the infinite love we are born of. Tom Paladino is a scalar energy researcher based in Florida. Scalar energy is the fundamental life force found everywhere in the world, space, and universe. It originates from the sun and stars. Chi, prana, OM, mana, life force, pyramid energy, or zero-point energy are synonymous terms for scalar energy. He theorized that all energy in the universe initiates as scalar energy; and that the sun of our solar system and the stars of the universe are the points of origin, “the storehouses,” for scalar energy. He further theorized that scalar energy is instructive energy, as the entire universe is instructed by this Divine Essence. Subsequently, all spiritual, cognitive, emotional, and physical action in the universe is initiated and maintained by scalar energy instructions. Scalar energy provides order in the universe. https://www.scalarlight.com --------------------------------

Karen is one very small number of energy workers & healers who work at a frequency level, and a key focus of her work is on looking at what is behind reality as we see it i.e. what makes up our reality. Karen is able to perceive the frequencies that are us, and what conditions these frequencies, and act as a bridge between the physical level and the Spirit level, which is much less dense than our physical world. At the level of the Spirit she is able to work to help her clients release long-held energetic blockages that may interfere with their ability to live full & happy lives and realize their greatest potential - and what is fascinating is that these blockages may not even have come from the client’s own life experience, but rather been passed down by their ancestors as a frequency pattern. In essence, our lineage and what they experienced creates a frequency that runs through us, or is under our skin, even though we may not be aware of it. Karen is fascinating to interview as she has an amazing grasp of complex subjects, and is able to carry out an “intellectual examination” and explain them in a clear and concise way, that is easy for us to understand. https://www.sphericalluminosity.com --------------------------------

Kate Thomas, a Teaching Assistant for Khenpo Sherab Sangpo from Bodhicitta Sangha | Heart of Enlightenment Institute (bodhicittasangha.org), offers a step-by-step guided meditation on how to practice White Tara, a meditation on the Mother of all Buddhas that is a practice to increase health, longevity, and inner and outer peace and joy. Many great masters have relied on Tara to realize enlightenment as her visualization and mantra are the energy of wisdom inseparable from compassion that benefits all beings equally. Join us to practice this healing meditation on great equanimity and love. I pray that [by practicing White Tara] the whole world may enjoy longevity, prosperity, and all noble qualities; and that happiness may prevail everywhere; that diseases, famines, and wars may be pacified. - Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche Please visit our website to learn more about Khenpo Sherab Sangpo, his teachings and for practice texts. Retreat on Tara, "Mother of all Buddhas," with instructions on how to practice a short, daily practice, "The Sadhana of the Noble White Tara." White Tara is practiced to increase one's own or another person's health, wisdom, and merit; especially the long life of one's teacher and lineage masters. Although known for these benefits, White Tara's seed syllable TAM may also be practiced to recognize the nature of mind and all phenomena as birthless; as the simplicity and unconditioned quality of the dharmakaya. Because Tara is unborn, she is beyond all conditions and empty in essence; yet her manifestation and appearance is blissful. Meditating on Tara in this way allows one to realize the ultimate, unborn and empty nature of one's mind. This is the awakened essence of all the Taras - white, green, red, or another color. Many great masters, such as Nagarjuna and Atisha, have realized enlightenment by relying on Tara.Retreat on Tara, "Mother of all Buddhas," with instructions on how to practice a short, daily practice, "The Sadhana of the Noble White Tara." Samantabhadri shares personal reflections on her connection with the White Tara sadhana. June 2019 The post White Tara appeared first on Manchester Buddhist Centre.
On Thursday April 25th, 2013, the Hermetic Hour, with host Poke Runyon, will present a discussion on the practice of the Vajrayogini tantra as undertaken by O.T.A. members and Gardenerians at the Sakya Center in Los Angeles in Oct.-Nov.1985 under the direction of Abbott Ludhing Khen Rinpoche of the Sakya Order, Ngor Sect, of Tibetan Buddhism. This was a rare opportunity for Westerners to take initiations, and an extended training course in Tibetan Trantric practice, supervised by Tibetan lamas and delivered in English by an American lama Nagawang Samten. My mentor in anthropology, Dr. Robert Ravitz, had been to Dharmsala, India several times. He recommended the program, and frankly told me: "Poke, you will be getting something that many people have gone to Asia, given up everything, spent years, and still not received, so get the most out of it." I certainly tried to, and found it one of the most meaningful experiences in my magical career. Our sessions with Ludhing Khen Rinpoche and Lama Samten lasted a month. We started with a Hevajrah initiation, as the most important yidam practice of the Order (this was our certification and a "planting of the seed"), followed by Chenrezi initiation, Padmasambhava, White Tara, an intensive Vajrayogini Initiation and practice, from a 100 page syllabus detailing all the rites and practices. This is a complete tantric system, including, Tumo, and Pohwa (death practice).Vajrayogini is very popular with Tibetans and Westerners alike. She is a very close analog to the Canaanite Goddess Anath. Programs like the one we participated in are now being offered more frequently here in America. You might check with H.H. Sakya Trazin's website for details -- So, if you want to find out what it is like to meditate with the Eastern Masters, tune in and we will share our recollections with you.
As a child, I had clairvoyant abilities and regularly saw spirits, however I never realized there was anything unique about that and I primarily saw them as friends. In 1991, I experienced a spiritual awakening and my life changed. I have since studied Tibetan Buddhism, and am empowered in Medicine Buddha, White Tara, Norjuma and Shambala through Khenchen Palden Sherab & Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal. I also practiced the purification practice of fasting, and prayer practice known as Nyungne several times & have spent years in regular meditation practice. I hold Reiki Master attunements in Sekhem-Seichim as well as Sekhmet Seichim. I also like to think of myself as a "teacher" of A Course in Miracles, rather than a "student". I am married, and am a mother to an amazingly "awake" eleven year old son, as well as a caretaker and friend to three cats, and one dog. The Masters wish to help with our ascension process, and their channeling is imbued with the higher realm energies, to help with our advancement. Their words are uplifting, encouraging and empowering and their energies speak for themselves. They are here to help us ascend. They state that the only limitations to our advancement and realizations of who we truly are, which are masters ourselves, are the limitations we still place on ourselves. I hope you find the channelings helpful. It is my honor to serve and be a channel for the Light and the Love that we ALL truly are. http://www.teachingsofthemasters.org email nicole@teachingsofthemasters.org http://www.angelspeakers.com email teri@angelspeakers.com

This week’s FBA Podcast “Mindfulness As the Great Love (White Tara)” is a talk given by Vajratara at Sangha Night, Sheffield Buddhist Centre (28th August 2007), about the symbolism of White Tara, as part of a series on Stories and Symbols.
Chanting the long life mantra of White Tara, the archetypal figure in developed Buddhism relating to long life, wisdom and also crossing over to death. This traditionally chanted as a blessing for someone who you'd like to see stick around! Subscribe to our podcast in iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/podcast/the-buddhist-centre-online/id498033013
Here’s a forthright and passionate talk, taking as its starting point the great contemporary Tibetan teacher (sometimes also written ‘Chatral Sangye Dorje’) and his relationship to practice in the FWBO via his giving of the Green Tara practice to Sangharakshita. The main focus, however, is the need to practice the Dharma for others as part of a meaningful community, and Vajratara argues her case with a balance of down-to-earth humour and uncompromising vision. Tracked version includes the following detail: 1. Introduction to Chetul Sangye Dorje; Sangharakshita’s first meeting with him 2. Early years and practice; a meeting with the Regent of Tibet 3. The meaning of Chetul Sangye Dorje’s name; a meeting with Thomas Merton 4. A teaching to Paramartha; two mind-training slogans (lohjong); practising for yourself versus practising for others; a quote from Sangharakshita 5. Real practice as love and kindness to others; commentary on mind-training by Jamgon Kontrul; the mantra of the universe; resorting to ‘the magical practice’ of spiritual individualism; going beyond yourself 6. How to practice for others; Green and White Tara; significance of Tara’s leg position; balance between self-focus and other-focus; the conflict of choice 7. Be friendly even when you can’t be happy; green, nature, and remaining open 8. Practising together, in numbers; all beings as White Tara; drawing strength from communal practice 9. Don’t settle for a comfortable life; White Tara as a young girl; settling down; Chetul Sangye Dorje and the meat-eating teacher’s disciple 10. Conclusion – Tara as embodiment of practice for others; not allowing our Buddhism to become self-indulgence
