In this solo episode, Laura explores the transformative power of attitude and how it shapes our identity and perception of life. She discusses the importance of framing our experiences consciously, challenging limiting beliefs, and practicing new narratives to foster personal growth. Through personal anecdotes and reflective questions, Laura encourages listeners to embrace change, navigate setbacks, and cultivate a mindset that empowers them to see life as a series of opportunities rather than obstacles. Takeaways  * Attitude is a game changer in living a conscious + attuned life. * We create our own stories and can choose which to keep. * Our identity is shaped by our attitudes and beliefs. * Framing experiences in an empowering way can lead to growth. * Life events can be seen as either endings or beginnings. * We often absorb limiting beliefs from our environment. * Challenging our truths can lead to personal growth. * Practicing new narratives can shift our mindset. * Self-discovery is a journey that requires reflection. * Our identity is not fixed; it can be changed at any time. Chapters 00:00 The Power of Attitude 04:13 Framing Our Experiences 07:27 Shifting Perspectives on Identity 10:17 Embracing Change and Expansion 13:31 The Role of Beliefs in Our Lives 16:28 Challenging Limiting Beliefs 19:23 Creating a New Narrative 22:18 Practical Steps for Attitude Shift 25:17 Wrap-Up and Key Takeaways   Listener Reflection Questions 1️⃣ What is a belief you've been carrying about yourself (your abilities, relationships, career, money, etc.) that might not actually be true? Where did this belief come from? Is it based on facts, or is it just an old story you've reinforced over time? 2️⃣ Think about a recent challenge or setback—how did you frame it? Did you see it as a failure, or as redirection? If you rewrote the story, how could this situation actually be working for you? 3️⃣ What is one small way you can start practicing a shift in attitude today? Maybe it's catching negative self-talk. Maybe it's reinterpreting a ‘bad' moment as an opportunity. Maybe it's choosing a new way to respond to setbacks. “If any of these hit home, DM me or tag me and share your insights—I'd love to hear what comes up for you.”   Ways To Work With Me: 1. I was a TV reporter since I was 19 years old in college, and so when I left the business at the age of 45, I was scared out of my mind. I suddenly became an entrepreneur, and you have to sink or swim. Somebody who can relate to that is my next guest, Sonia Azad, formerly of Channel 8. And before then, Houston and many other markets before that. Now, she hosts corporate wellness and yoga retreats.

In this episode, Dr. Carol and Kim Pittis discuss the benefits and experiences of Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) therapy, including protocols for immune support and the role of the vagus nerve. They share personal stories of treatment successes and delve into the details of their visits to Costa Rica, including an inspiring stay at the Anamaya yoga retreat center.    The episode also covers various medical topics such as the treatment of autoimmune conditions, high ankle sprains, dementia-related anxiety, and the importance of sleep. They also touch on the importance of pattern recognition in medical practice and maintaining a positive mindset during recovery.   01:51 Yoga Retreat in Costa Rica 06:19 Immune Support Protocols 09:08 Vagal Nerve Stimulation and Research 10:21 FSM Symposium Highlights 13:45 Immune System and Autoimmune Conditions 20:18 Case Study: Transformative Healing 25:42 Understanding Reflex Testing 26:16 Understanding Reflexes and Spinal Cord Inflammation 27:23 Upper and Lower Reflexes Explained 28:48 Case Study: Predicting MRI Results 30:04 Managing Chronic Tightness and Pain 31:38 The Power of Hypnosis in Clinical Practice 32:15 Reframing Patient Identity and Goals 35:02 The Role of the Reformer in Rehabilitation 44:10 Treating High Ankle Sprains 47:35 Addressing Dementia and Aggression   TOPIC SUMMARIES    In our quest for optimal health, various therapies and approaches offer unique pathways to well-being. One such innovative therapy is Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM), a fascinating method that uses specific frequencies to enhance health and wellness across different conditions. Whether it's strengthening the immune system or aiding in physical and emotional recovery, FSM provides a versatile resource for health maintenance.   Harnessing FSM for Immune Support   As the seasons change, so do our health needs. FSM offers specific protocols that might provide added support during times like cold and flu seasons. By incorporating FSM into regular routines, individuals—particularly athletes, who often face challenges in maintaining robust immune systems during intense seasons—can potentially bolster their defenses. Emphasizing the significance of quality sleep, combined with FSM application, is crucial in supporting immune health and overall well-being.   Transformative Patient Experiences with FSM FSM's true impact shines in the personal stories of healing and transformation. For many, FSM has provided relief from chronic issues, restoring a quality of life they feared lost. By addressing deep-seated pain and mobility limitations, FSM enables individuals to regain confidence in their bodies. These stories are testament to FSM's ability to address complex health challenges and renew hope for lasting recovery.   Understanding Reflexes and Nervous System Health The science behind FSM involves intricate knowledge of our body's reflexes and the nervous system. Understanding these connections allows for precision in using FSM to treat neurological and musculoskeletal concerns. Reflex assessments inform treatment plans, guiding the application of specific frequencies to enhance healing and function. This precision helps in targeting treatment effectively, enhancing both practitioner and patient engagement with the healing process.   Incorporating Hypnosis for Healing Enhancement Combining FSM with techniques such as hypnosis can further amplify healing outcomes. This powerful combination allows practitioners to reshape patient perceptions, transforming identities marred by chronic pain into narratives of resilience and recovery. By fostering positive self-identities, patients can envision and work towards a healthier future, supported by the therapeutic effects of FSM.   Effective Strategies for Common Injuries FSM also proves beneficial in treating common injuries like sprained ankles. By differentiating between typical and high ankle sprains, practitioners can apply FSM more effectively, addressing specific tissue requirements for each injury. This targeted approach emphasizes the importance of understanding anatomy and biomechanics in optimizing recovery through FSM.   A Growing Community of Healing and Innovation As interest in FSM continues to grow, so does the community of practitioners and patients dedicated to exploring its potentials. This shared journey towards health innovation encourages continuous learning and collaboration, inspiring new applications and deeper understanding of FSM. Together, this community remains committed to advancing wellness, one frequency at a time.   With its versatile applications and promising results, FSM invites us to rethink traditional methods and embrace innovative therapies that empower healing and transformation. Today we are joined by someone who does just that, Laurel Attanasio, founder of Laurel Ann, LLC a boutique travel company specializing in wellness adventures. Laurel divides her time between the US and Europe, mostly Italy but occasionally Spain and Portugal—or even further afield. Forty-one year-old Taylor Casey has been missing since the evening of June 19 into the morning of June 20. She was attending a yoga retreat at an ashram on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. It sounds like an ideal, relaxing time, but as we know, traveling as a single person can pose additional dangers. Taylor, who is transgender, was staying in a tent on the ashram's property. Her cellphone was later found in the ocean. Take a listen as I share inside information from someone who stayed at the ashram years ago. It paints a whole new light on Taylor's disappearance and what could possibly have happened.#taylorcasey #bahamas #paradiseisland #missingwoman #yogaretreat #transgender#truecrime #idaho #moscowidaho #kayleegoncalves #madisonmogen #ethanchapin #xanakernodle #moscowstudentmurders #idahostudentmurders #moscowhomicides  #truecrimeunsolved #truecrimeunsolvedSupport the Show.

Eating together, doing yoga together, hiking together - till one of them goes missing. The mysterious circumstances surrounding Nancy's disappearance still have no answers. Where and how did she go missing? Why did the 11 others fly home within hours of her disappearance? And why are they not being more cooperative with the authorities? Are they hiding something?
