Macca and MG with a live studio audience present a podcast reviewing the latest racing from the Southern Hemisphere including IMNZ, Husky Long course, Challenge Philippines and Devonport Tri.   First up Ironman New Zealand taken out by Marko Albert with a cracking second place to legend Cam Brown and a solid third from MaccaX friend Terenzo Bozzone.   The guys discuss the DNF from ‘supermodel' Bevan Docherty.  The girls' race was won in record time by Meredith Kessler.  MG asks if this has motivated Macca….   Next up Husky Long Course in NSW, Australia taken out by a very in form Pete Jacobs.  Solid performances from other Aussies, Tim Reed and Sam Appleton with the girls'  race taken out by Liz Blatchford.   Macca told us of his Challenge Philippines experience where even getting behind a tuk tuk didn't help.  Is this the hardest race in the Southern Hemisphere?   Macca mixed with royalty when the royal princes of Bahrain raced at the Challenge event.   Devenport used to be one of the must do races in Australia – Macca infamously got banned from this race…….back in the day!   The experts then cast their eyes over the upcoming events, notably IM Melbourne and Abu Dhabi.  Will Crowie win Melbourne, can Supermodel finish the race?   Abu Dhabi short course will feature the Brownlee brothers.   Macca spoke about his upcoming plans – he's off to Carnivale in Rio with Michael Phelps but before that he'll be doing a charity ride in the UAE .   The heir to the Bahrain throne is swimming from Saudi Arabia to Bahrain – a cool 34km and Chris is joining on this crazy endeavor.   Other news: Camps are now on the website www.maccax.com/camps Places will fill fast…. Macca shoots a commercial for Under Armour's launch in Australia with Rebel Sport. The guys finish up with questions from the facebook group and Big Ring gets on the line…. Please take the time to leave a review on itunes.   TAGS   #Bevan Docherty, #Catch Club, #IMNZ, #Cameron Brown, #Marko Albert, #Tim Van Berkel, #Terenzo Bozzone, #Meredith Kessler, #Gina Crawford, #Candice Hammond, #Pete Jacobs, #Greg Bennett, #Ben Hammond, #Tim Reed, #Sam Appleton, #Liz Blatchford, #Carrie Lester, #Lisa Marangon, #Challenge Philippines, #Jurgen Zack, #Matt Burton, #Michael Murphy, #Rasmus Petraeus, #Freddy Croneborg, #Melissa Hauschildt, #Annabel Luxford, #Emma Pooley, #David Voth, #Devonport Triathlon, #Craig Walton, #Brad Bevan, #Aaron Royle, #Gillian Backhouse, #Darren Smith, #Scott Molina, #IM Melbourne, #Crowie, #Paul Ambrose, #Clayton Fettell, #Dirk Bockel, #Chris Kemp, #Carter Jackson, #Brownlees, #Michael Phelps, #Lance Armstrong, #Dave Scott, #Under Armour, #Rebel Sport
