A Cowboy watches them as they watch the film. Betty (Naomi Watts) is an actress who is sure to feature on all the hottest casting lists in LA. She is great. Cela témoigne-t-il d'une obsession narcissique pour son propre reflet ? Faut-il en déduire que ce retour sur soi, qui prend souvent la forme de bilan, fait office d'étape indispensable à tout grand cinéaste ? Qui voyons-nous à travers l'œil de la caméra ? Voit-on la même chose que les personnages et comment, eux, se voient-ils ? La question de l'identité au cinéma de date pas d'hier.
