Welcome to episode #192 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional! Our final review of MWIII is here! After months of putting in countless hours in all parts of the game, we give our comprehensive breakdown and review of this year's Call Of Duty. From the campaign, to zombies, and of course multiplayer and ranked, we cover each part of the game and discuss how it stacks up overall and compared to last year's game. We share our opinions on each part of the game, and also ask the question if this really is an improvement from MWII, or is it really just a $70 DLC. Finally, we end with our scores for the game as a whole, and ask you to share your thoughts and rating of the game overall! We close this season of the COD Casuals as we now go into Black Ops 6, and are beyond excited to start off strong! What would you rate MWIII 1-10? Do you agree with our points not? If so, explain. What was the strongest point and the weakest point of this game, and what could have been done to make this game better? Please let us know as we discuss this and much more! Welcome to episode #191 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional! In this episode, we come to our final talks on our hustle to the end of MWIII, as we prepare for our final review of MWIII for next week's episode! We also jump into some more developing CDL news as time goes on, and more teams options are now running low with big players locked down. We focus this episode on a topic relating to a law being passed regarding the understanding that we do not own digital properties related to gaming and entertainment. We debate the pros and cons of both, and what we think will be the way going forward. Along with this, a discussion has started about online games “expiring” due to servers being shut down, and if this is right, especially after spending $60 on a game. We cover both sides, and give our opinion on the matter. What are your thoughts on the debate over digital vs. physical games? Do you exclusively buy one over the other, or no? Should there be no expiration date on a game that you purchased, or is it part of knowing that you don't own the game? Please let us know as we discuss this and much more! Hope you all enjoy the episode and we'll see you next week in our final MWIII review.Follow us: Twitter: @TheCODCasuals Instagram: @TheCODCasuals TikTok: @TheCODCasuals Contact us: Business Inquiries: TheCODCasuals@gmail.com
Welcome to episode #190 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional! In this episode, we share our woes and struggles with closing out season 6 and MWIII altogether. We are in the final stretch of hitting the max level, and giving ourselves some much needed time to relax before starting up Black Ops 6. We are preparing for our end of year review with MWIII, and will have much to say regarding gameplay, maps, and overall fatigue. We share some thoughts as we come to the end of the game, and also some ideas that hopefully Treyarch uses to help reward those who make it to the end, as we share our annoyances with the lack of rewards for the long grind. We close with some CDL talk, as some big rumors have been confirmed, leaving big questions for the bottom teams. We share our opinions on these confirmed moves, and our predictions for other teams. Do you agree that there aren't enough awards and incentives to grind to the end of COD in recent years? What do you think should be given as a reward for hitting max level? What do you think about the confirmed and rumored CDL rosters? Are there any that are sleeper teams? Please let us know as we discuss this and much more! In this episode, we have concluded our time with the Black Ops 6 beta, and are back on MWIII, as season 5 draws to a close and we are in the final season of the game. We haven't given up on the game, and intend to hit the 1250 max level to put a stamp of finality on MWIII before our end game review. We cover each part of the season 6 roadmap, and compare how it stacks up to previous seasons. Finally, we end with some updates regarding the CDL, with some potential big shake ups that could happen if the rumors prove true. Are you going to be playing season 6? Welcome to episode #181 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional! In this episode, there is a lot to cover. Firstly, we share our initial thoughts on season 5 of MWIII, focusing on the maps and overall direction with the seasons, as we only have one more until we get Black Ops 6. With this new season, there were some issues regarding the Ricochet anti-cheat, and an influx of hackers came with it. We talk about the potential of this happening again, as well as the possibility that the Xbox Game Pass could have had something to do with it, with MWIII being free to play. Finally, we talk about the upcoming EWC, as teams have officially locked their rosters, and we have seen some interesting moves with the lower teams, wondering if they will stick with this team for the 2025 CDL season or not. What are your thoughts on season 5 so far? Is there anything missing for it that you thought should have been in it? Have you come across hackers in Warzone or Multiplayer? If so, what do you think of our ideas for dealing with hacking in COD? Please let us know as we discuss this and much more! Hope you all enjoy the episode and we'll see you next week. Welcome to episode #170 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional! In this episode, we have some rumors regarding season 4 of MWIII, and some of the new additions are things we have been asking for for awhile now, and hopefully the rumors become true when we see the full roadmap released. Along with this, some news and updates have come out about the content surrounding Gulf War, and info saying that we may be playing this game sooner than we thought! Welcome to episode #163 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional! In this episode, we have some new news regarding season 3 of MWIII, and what we can expect to see at launch on April 3rd. Compared to the past two seasons however, the content is a bit lacking, and we hope this isn't a trend going forward for future seasons. We cover the importance of adding fresh content to the game, and most importantly; new maps. We talk about how this game has cashed in on the nostalgia train for most, and how this has become a new trend in gaming, and how it may not be the solution for long term success with a game. What do you think about games tapping into nostalgia? Is that a big selling point for you, or do you want to play a completely new game with new content? Welcome to episode #156 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional! In this episode, we get ready for all the big updates and additions that are coming with season 2 of MWIII. Prior to this, there have been updates regarding hardpoint rotations, as well as some gun buffs and nerfs, and this will be even more prevalent with the start of season 2. We break down the roadmap that has been shown to us, and go over the pros and cons of it. Lots of new content for us on the multiplayer side, but not as good of news for zombies fans, as well as for us who are hoping for more raid episodes in MWIII. So far Sledgehammer has delivered on lots of good content, and we hope they keep this up with future seasons. What are your thoughts on some of the new maps and weapons in season 2? Welcome to episode #151 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional! In this episode, we cover our recent grind within the season, as well as sharing how important it is to take a break from COD every once in a while, and how it recharges you and can even make you better as a player. With that being said, we've got a long grind ahead of us, with it being camos to unlock, or simply hitting level 250 before ranked comes out, which will take our full attention. With ranked coming out soon, we shift to talking about a major concern for us: hacking. Will we see the same amount of blatant cheating as we did in MWIII, or will it be fixed with a strong anticheat? We will have to wait until January 17th to find out. Are you working on the camo grind/level 250 grind, or have you completed it already? Do you share some of our concerns with hacking this year in ranked play? If so, what sort of punishment should be laid down for those who are caught? Please let us know as we discuss this and much more! Hope you all enjoy the episode and we'll see you next week. Welcome to episode #146 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional! In this episode, we have finally gotten news that season 1 will be dropping on December 6th, and we are beyond excited to get the grind going! No major leaks have come out as to what we will be seeing in season 1, but we are hoping for a lot compared to the launch of MWII. Some new maps will be coming, along with some added modes, and hopefully some quality of life changes to make the game that much more enjoyable. We share our thoughts as we come closer to this date! Along with this, some news has already leaked for the next COD coming out in 2024, titled COD Gulf War, developed by Treyarch. We touch on this, and though excited, explain how we cannot forget about the current COD and let it slip from our attention! What are you hoping to see in season 1 of MWIII? Do you think the new maps will be a good addition, or will they be the worst maps compared to what we already have? What quality of life changes are you hoping to see at the start of season 1 or during it? Are you excited for COD Gulf War? What are some expectations that you have for that game? Welcome to episode #145 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional! In this episode, we continue our coverage and thoughts on the game, as some big quality of life changes have come to MWIII, making the experience better than it has been since day 1. Lots of updates regarding weapon tuning, movement mechanics, and unlock systems have been fixed, and we are happy to see them. Along with this, we break into a discussion of why all developers should take the advice of the players like Sledgehammer has been doing, as well as sharing some big issues that we would like to see fixed for the future. What do you think about some of the changes coming to MWIII? Have you noticed a difference in the game, or does it feel the same to you? What are some changes that you think need to come to the game sooner rather than later? Please let us know as we discuss this and much more! Hello, my little muscle seeds! New week, new episode, time to listen to a brand new episode of your favorite podcast!

Welcome to episode #144 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional! The full release of MWIII has finally arrived, and we are very excited to share our experience so far! We have gotten our hands on all the maps, as well as a majority of new weapons that were not available during the beta. We share our first impressions on what the game has to offer, as well as some critiques that have left us confused. So far this game has done an excellent job with sticking to the basics, however we cover some points that we feel need to be simplified even more to enhance the experience, and not make it more complicated. We also touch on our experience with zombies for the first time as well, and give our initial impressions of the mode. How are you liking MWIII so far? What is your favorite part of the game? Are you a fan of the maps and modes? Do you agree with our opinions on what we believe is good and needs to be improved in the game? Please let us know as we discuss this and much more! Welcome to episode #143 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional! We finally have our hands on MWIII! With preordering the game, we have gotten our hands on the campaign early…and we are not pleased with it whatsoever. After completing it, we sit down and share our thoughts on the mission types, the story, length, and how this stacks up against previous COD campaigns. This is definitely not how we were hoping to start our year with MWIII, however it's too big an issue to not cover and be honest about! We cover each aspect, and give our opinions on the campaign as a whole, and are curious what you think about our rating. What did you think about the campaign? Did you feel the same way we did about it, or do you disagree? What are some of your biggest issues with it, and what would you rate it from 0-10? Do you think they milk this story with another few entries in the series around these characters, or do they do 1 more game and end it? Please let us know as we discuss this and much more!

This week on The Finger Guns Podcast Rossko, Miles, Kat and Josh talk all the weeks biggest news including the rise of Fortnite and their colossal weekend numbers, the downfall of Call of Duty's terrible MWIII campaign and the possibility of World of Warcraft on consoles. Is there a chance? We don't seem to think so but under Phil Spencer, anything is possible, right? In Game of the Week Kat has jumped into the OG Forntite map (so has Rossko, so has Josh...), Josh has been climbing the walls playing the wonderful Jusant and Miles, along with confirming he's Platinumed Spider-Man 2 he talks Achilles: Legends Untold, which he wasn't as fond of, let's be honest. Rossko also talks us through his trip to the seedy underground of Detroit in the rather brilliant RoboCop: Rogue City.Recommendations? Well, Vanilla Coke from Miles (yeesh), Donald Glover's Atlanta (yay!) and Kat talks going to see Fall Out Boy this weekend and recommends a drama on Netflix whilst Rossko takes us back to 2006 and talks his recent first time watch of The Devil Wears Prada. We're nothing if not way up to date with the current trends on this podcast. Hey if you like our podcast why not leave us a review?! Welcome to episode #141 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional! We have finally hit level 1250 in MWII! After over 1500 hours between the both of us on MWII, we finally hit the max level in the game, and have completed it just in time before we get ready for MWIII. We cover the final grind that was in place, and go into the difficulties and rewards you get for putting in all that time, and not having much in the way of rewards. We open up a discussion regarding the new vs. old prestige systems, and why most people don't bother hitting the max level anymore in COD. With that being said, we talk about our upcoming episode for the MWII review, where we will cover every aspect of the game, and give our final review in season 3 of the COD Casuals before starting up Season 4 with the launch of MWIII. Be sure to be on the lookout for episode 142! What level did you reach in MWII? Did you hit max level, or did you stop playing long ago? Welcome to episode #138 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional! In this episode, the beta for MWIII is right around the corner! We have some details that have come out regarding what we will be playing for the opening beta weekend on PS5, as well as some new details that will be relevant for when the full game releases. With these leaks, we have to stay composed and focused on finishing MWII up completely, as we have less time to finish the game at level 1250 and then produce our final review of the game before jumping into the next title. We are very excited to start a fresh game, and are hoping this title will be the defining one that puts COD back on the right track for the coming years! Will you be playing the beta? If so, what are you most excited to try out? Do you think that this Call of Duty has a lot of pressure to succeed, or will it be no different than last year's title, and we will have the same thoughts about it? Along with this, we share our thoughts on the skin for getting to level 1250, and what COD should do to help showcase your hard work in their titles, as this one and previous titles severely lack compared to older ones. What are your thoughts on the final season of MWII? Are you gonna hit the 1250 level, or are you done with the game and ready to play the MWIII beta? What do you think of our takes regarding in-game rewards for players? What are you hoping to see from COD Next, and what aspect of COD are you most excited to see showcased? Please let us know as we discuss this and much more! Hope you all enjoy the episode and we'll see you next week! Welcome to episode #135 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional! In this episode, we give one of our final talks on the progression in season 4 of MWII, as we come to the final days, and then moving on to season 5 to wrap the game up. Despite it being the end of the game, we have continued to grind out the levels in pubs and in ranked, and are still shocked to see hacking being a big part of the ranked experience. We share our opinions on the matter, as well as our goals in ranked for season 4 and going into season 5. Along with this, we did hear some news about the future of COD, and that being with COD 2025. Rumor is that this game will feature all remastered Black Ops 2 maps at launch, similar to what MWIII is doing this year. We give our thoughts on this, and discuss if this is a wise move going forward within Call of Duty. Are you still playing MWII, or have you long since given up? If you are or did play a lot, what was your experience like with cheaters? Do you share some of our stories? When it comes to the COD 2025 news, do you think this is a good or bad idea? Should COD always have staple maps, or innovate and create new ones each year? Please let us know as we discuss this and much more! Hope you all enjoy the episode and we'll see you next week! Welcome to episode #134 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional! In this episode, we are following up on some big leaks that have come out regarding the new MWIII perk system, now labeled as the gear system. We have seen specific gear from each class and what they do, and so far we are very optimistic! We share our thoughts on why this could be a big win for MWIII, but also what could potentially go wrong if not executed correctly. Along with this, there have been some new additions to MWII in the season 5 reloaded that are very random, and look to be things that are maybe being tested for MWIII? No one knows for sure, but we give our thoughts on what is being added in the final months of MWII. What are your opinions on the new gear system overall? Should they stick to the normal perk system, or are you indifferent? Are you worried about this failing and being a broken part of the game, or do you not care much about it either way? What are your thoughts on the new voting system in MWII? Is it a good or bad idea? Please let us know as we discuss this and much more! Hope you all enjoy the episode and we'll see you next week! Welcome to episode #128 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional! In this episode, more leaks have continued to come out regarding MWIII, including the logo that will be used for the game. This opens up our discussion as to what Infinity Ward will continue to keep and develop from MWII, and what will they abandon? We discuss this, along with what we think needs to be improved to live up to the title of a sequel to MWII, and will they be able to live up to the original from 2011. Along with this, a lot of the community has been hooked on the old Call of Duty titles that have now been fixed so they are playable. Though this is great for the community as a whole, is it something Microsoft will cash out on? What do you think of our opinions on what should be kept and scrapped for MWIII? Is there anything we missed that you think is important to keep for the next title? What are your thoughts on Microsoft potentially introducing microtransactions to these old CODs to make money off them? Will they do this, or leave them alone? Welcome to episode #126 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional! In this episode, we got some news heading into the last few months of MWII, with some questionable moves that have left us wondering what is next for season 5. Season 4 reloaded has been announced, and we have some new bundles that are exciting. However, we delve into a bigger issue regarding these bundles, and why we never end up buying them, despite us liking what's included in them. A few new maps have also made their way into season 4 reloaded, and this raises another issue with us as to what was promised from the beginning of the game, as we share our hopes for the final season of Modern Warfare II. What are your thoughts on season 4 reloaded? Are you excited for the new map and bundles, or are you going to continue playing as if this update never happened? What are your thoughts on our opinions regarding the new map, and the price tag these bundles have had in this COD and in recent CODs? What is your biggest wish for season 5 to close out MWII? Welcome to episode #125 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional! In this episode, we continue covering our progress within season 4 of MWII, as well as a topic surrounding hype for future COD titles. Some have already given up on MWIII, and are looking forward to the next in the series from Treyarch, coming in 2024. We give our takes on this thought process, as well as the notion that XDefiant is coming in as a replacement for COD to some. With this shift, there has been lots of hacking on all levels in MWII, and this is definitely a result of support dwindling down for this game as we come closer to the end of the game. What are your thoughts on switching titles during the MWII season, and the thought of skipping MWIII for the next COD game made by Treyarch? Do you buy and play COD regardless of what is included in the game, or do you wait until after it is released? Have you looked into xDefiant? Do you see it as a replacement for COD in the future? Welcome to episode #122 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional! In this episode, we take a look at the season 4 roadmap, and everything it has to offer from new multiplayer maps, to weapons and game modes! We have two more seasons of MWII, and discuss what is needed to help keep the fanbase playing until MWIII. We cover each part of the roadmap, and what we are looking forward to most. Along with this, we cover some of our expectations for the next COD, and how to build off of MWII so that the next COD is one of the best within the past 5 years. XDefiant is also around the corner for an open beta, and we debate the idea of this being a COD “killer”. Have you kept up with playing MWII, and if so, are you excited for what's coming in season 4? Are you still grinding ranked play with us? If so, what's the highest rank you've reached? Do you agree with our assessment of MWIII? Please let us know as we discuss this and much more! Welcome to episode #107 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional! In this episode, the focus remains on ranked play. With it now being out for a few weeks and pushing a month, many players are starting to say that this is becoming one of the best ranked systems that we have experienced in COD for quite some time. We would absolutely agree with this, as we cover our experience, as well as our current rank. Despite this being the case for us, we do cover some big issues that could come down the line, as well as the difference in experience from console to PC. With that being said, we also cover the news of Nintendo getting involved in COD, as it will release on their platforms in the future.
