Serve the public trust, protect the innocent, uphold the law.If you grew up in the same era as our hosts, the source material for this first-person shooter developed by Teyon and published by Nacon is well known to you. If you are a bit younger, perhaps you caught the remake that came out in 2014. If neither of those apply, just imagine if Darth Vader was a police officer in a dystopian Detroit. Now that you understand the basic premise, it's time for our hosts to discover if this is a faithful adaptation of that source material and (more importantly) if it translates into a fun gameplay experience. Tom and Chris loaded their guns, strapped on their armor, and set their timers for an hour. Now, you have the right to remain silent... as our hosts debrief you. Over All in the GameAll in the Game is de podcast over games voor iedereen. Elke week hoor je minimaal één aflevering van All in the Game. Het komt allemaal aan bod in All in the Game. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Bon visionnage.Suivez-nous sur- BlueSky : https://bit.ly/444tjbV- X : https://bit.ly/4jQ0CEpEcoutez-nous sur :- Acast : https://bit.ly/4jQ14CB- Apple Podcast : https://apple.co/4ktCw3d- Spotify : https://spoti.fi/3HrzXQJEchangez avec nous sur :- Notre Discord : https://bit.ly/4kBNC6p- Notre Commune Steam : https://bit.ly/3FRxIFU Hébergé par Acast. PS This is Awesome: Episode 374 - Doom Drops, Marines Rise, and Oblivion LoomsFred took a break from Octopath Traveler 2 this week, but he did boot up Space Marine 2 to check out the big new free update. We'll dig into his thoughts on that later in the episode. Jake finally beat Robocop: Rogue City and shares with us his specs. He also started playing a game called Anno MutationemNo listener feedback this week—y'all must be as busy as we are. Let's get into what's going on in the world of PlayStation.Bethesda fans, mark your calendars—there's an official Oblivion Remastered announcement coming on April 22. We've been hearing rumors forever, but this is the real deal. Meanwhile, DOOM: The Dark Ages just dropped its official trailer. The game launches May 15, 2025, and the trailer is an interesting mix—starting off pretty story-heavy before unleashing that signature DOOM gameplay, backed by some face-melting metal. You're playing as “The Slayer,” naturally. It looks awesome. There's a new showcase on the scene called Galaxies, focused on indie and first-look games. It streamed exclusively on Twitch and featured titles like SPINE, Firebreak (Remedy's next project), and Clair Obscur. Definitely one to keep on your radar if you're into the lesser-known gems.Sony dropped a teardown video of the PS5 Pro over on the PlayStation Blog if you're into hardware stuff. We also got more details on the Days Gone Remastered, which will feature new modes like Horde Assault: Survival Arcade, Permadeath, and Speedrun mode—sounds like they're giving fans a lot more to sink their teeth into. And for those still curious about Marathon, PlayStation Blog has posted a full gameplay overview. This week we talk about our growing preference towards PC over consoles, Rockstar games, more Blue Prince, and Robocop: Rogue City.
PS This is Awesome: Episode 373Fred's still plugging away at Octopath Traveler 2, now around 38 hours in. Progress is happening, but it's slowing down a bit—he's feeling a bit under-leveled, which is making battles tougher than they should be. Meanwhile, Jake's sticking with Robocop: Rogue City and still having a good time with it.We didn't get any listener feedback this week, so let's jump into the news.We finally got confirmation that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is heading to PS5 with a release date of April 17, 2025. Space Marine 2 just dropped a massive update called Trygon, featuring a new operation, the Inferno Pistol, new cosmetics, and even prestige ranks for the multiplayer crowd. The update is live now, and there's a trailer to check out.We also got the full gameplay reveal for Marathon, and it's officially coming September 23, 2025. It's a squad-based extraction shooter and feels very Destiny 2-esque in terms of style and polish.Mafia: The Old Country had its release date accidentally leaked by 2K through a Steam post—looks like it's dropping August 8, 2025. Not the most graceful reveal, but now we know. With The Masters wrapping up, EA Sports PGA Tour is available now for PS Plus Extra members. Also, the PS Portal got a system update that improves PS Plus Cloud Streaming, so if you're using one of those, things should feel smoother. In TV news, The Last of Us is officially getting a third season on HBO, which should surprise no one given how well it's doing. We also touched on our sideshow this week and talked about GrimKeep, a new roguelike RPG/dice builder from the makers of Demeo. The voiceover has a Darkest Dungeon vibe, and the art style is clearly drawing inspiration from the same space. Could be one to keep an eye on.Let's get into the episode!By joining our Patreon community for ONLY $1.00 per month, you'll also enjoy these exclusive benefits:Early Access: Be the first to listen to our episodes as soon as they're ready. This week the guys discuss hair growth pills, Claire's flag football win, Clark's first chess tournament, Robocop Rogue City, Brotato, Minecraft movie, Through the Word, what we're doing for Easter in 2046, faith walking, fasting, and so much more! – http://linktree.com/thegmgpod – All of our links can be found on the LinkTree link including our audio podcast (Apple, Spotify, etc.), YouTube, Twitch streaming channels, Discord, Patreon, GMG Merchandise, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and E-Mail. – Listen as Lucas, Patrick, and Ryan talk about video games, TV, movies, sports, Jesus, but most importantly, life...the greatest and most difficult game of all. PS This is Awesome: Episode 372Fred is still clocking hours in Octopath Traveler 2, staying steady at around 34 hours. Jake's been making solid progress in Jedi Survivor, now about 20 hours in and still loving it. He also watched the director's cut of Robocop this week, which got him pumped to dive into Robocop: Rogue City—and yeah, he's playing that now too.As for the news, Bungie is finally ready to show off more of Marathon during a livestream on Saturday, April 12th. Hopefully this one delivers—we're all overdue for a real look at what that reboot's going to be. In other updates, Horizon Zero Dawn's planned TV series isn't happening anymore. Creative differences reportedly got in the way, so now it's being reimagined as a movie instead. Honestly, could be a better fit. There's also chatter around the Switch 2 and what it even is at this point. Hades 2 is launching first on Switch and PC, which makes sense—but it does raise the question: do we even consider the Switch 2 a full console anymore? Or is it basically a high-powered handheld? The lines are getting blurrier, that's for sure.Let's get into the show!By joining our Patreon community for ONLY $1.00 per month, you'll also enjoy these exclusive benefits:Early Access: Be the first to listen to our episodes as soon as they're ready. Fred is still making his way through Octopath Traveler 2, now sitting at around 34 hours in. Jake hasn't had much time for games lately but is still chipping away at Jedi Survivor. In the news, Starfield is officially headed to PS5, though there's no word yet on when that'll happen. Tony Hawk himself hand-picked some tracks for the Pro Skater 3 & 4 remakes, which pretty much guarantees a killer soundtrack. Over on PS Plus Essential, April's lineup is looking strong with Robocop: Rogue City, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth. Meanwhile, Naughty Dog has a second original game in the works that's been quietly in development for three years—and no, it's not The Last of Us Part III.WB Games has reportedly scrapped plans for Hogwarts Legacy DLC, according to Bloomberg. In a surprise move, Everybody's Golf is now under Bandai Namco, though it's unclear what they're planning for the series. Lastly, Intergalactic is apparently playable internally, and Neil Druckmann says it's shaping up to be something incredible. If all goes well, we could see it hit in 2027.Let's dive in!By joining our Patreon community for ONLY $1.00 per month, you'll also enjoy these exclusive benefits:Early Access: Be the first to listen to our episodes as soon as they're ready. Zea's out this week, but the rest of the NAFC crew is here to pick up the chaos. Gibbs shares his thoughts on the Severance finale (no spoilers… maybe), and gives a shoutout to the creepy slow-burn vibes of The Roottrees Are Dead. Izzy vents about his ongoing frustrations with Dragon Age: Inquisition, because nothing says fun like bad pacing and clunky mechanics. Meanwhile, Mox boots up Robocop: Rogue City and is already knee-deep in justice and cybernetic mayhem. To wrap things up, the gang dives into their final pick for the WTF Did I Just Watch theme with Mad God—a grotesque, stop-motion fever dream that left them all a little disturbed and very confused. Perfect way to close out the theme. Support us on Patreon!
We both bought RoboCop Rogue City, loved RoboCop Rogue City, and then stopped playing RoboCop Rogue City. Why is this game in equal parts the greatest possible RoboCop game ever and no fun to play? We go through our thoughts on the first chunk of the game that we were able to make it through.
This week, Sacred Symbols is a Kojima Fanboy Podcast... for a little while, anyway. Finally -- finally! -- we have a release date for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, and it's fairly close, arriving on PlayStation 5 in late June. And as a deep love for Kojima is perhaps the biggest gaming stance all three Sacred hosts share, we thought we'd spend some time getting hyped up following an all-new 10 minute trailer, collector's edition and pre-order details, and so on. Other news this week includes word of major forthcoming updates to PS5 Pro, the leak of a mysterious PSP game called STAMP that was never greenlit into production, the announcement of PowerWash Simulator 2 (!) from FuturLab, rumors of imminent PS5 releases for Indiana Jones and an Oblivion Remake, and much more. Then: Listener inquiries! What do we think of the reveal that Naughty Dog's Intergalactic will deal with religion as a central theme? Do we have any thoughts about the copious leaks from the recent Battlefield playtests? How will MLB: The Show 25 shape-up in its first current-gen-only PlayStation outing? Does Dustin have a serious misconception of what some people actually do when listening to our shows? Update on our week: We have returned after the New Year. We start if off with Andy, and he has a question, What happened to retro consoles? Andy has quite a few systems, but it appears that there are not any new systems being released. Are customers still interested? Noel picks up a newer console in the PlayStation 5 Pro. There are some plus and minus to this new system, listen to Noels thoughts. Noel also finishes RoboCop Rogue City. A great follow up to RoboCop 2 the movie. This game is a must try. Lastly Noel finished Final Fantasy 16 DLC with Echoes of the Fallen and The Rising Tide. Daniel also has been gaming and beat Marvels Guardians of the Galaxy game. This was a different take on the movies, but a very good game. Daniel is always looking for a good documentary to watch, this one is no different. He watches Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story which goes into the story of Christopher getting the role of Superman to his horse riding accident. Daniel also watches Reagan the movie. This is a movie of our 40th president Ronald Reagan. While it did not do well in the theaters, Daniel really enjoyed this one.
