Good Day to all, let us continue our discussion with our doctrines as we become more aware of what it means to be Primitive Baptist!

The power of God is not just for the preachers but from the front to the back of the church house. In 2 Timothy 3:1-5 God isn't talking about the world, He's talking about the church.  One thing it's going to take to fight against the devil is the power of God. Do you want really want it? Now the church is not without power. Often times we say we are powerless against certain things. When we come into unity there is a power. The world's Christianity is a cultural church. The method has power.  Revelation 3:16, a church done wrong makes Him want to spew us from His mouth. As long as the method that God has given to us is followed it'll work. How many times have you been beaten down by the world and come sit down in the church? Come in singing, come in praying, come in praising, and come in preaching. Whether you like the preacher or not, if he's preaching God's Word then you better agree with it. Engage with the preacher. Engage with the preached word. It pleases God to be engaged with Him. If you miss the message from God then it's not the preacher's fault or the service's fault, it's yours. 1 Corinthians 1:18, Romans 1:16, Romans 10:17, Romans 10:14; grown men have been broken to weeping when the Gospel has been shared with them. It has power! 1 John 1:9 The message has power.  The message God sends to us has great power. It's not up to us to convict a person it's the message of the Gospel. We are all guilty of judging others. We all judge others for their sins. It's our job as Christians to get the lost to Jesus, not the Primitive Baptist church, not another doctrine, but to Jesus.  The manuscript has power.  The King James Version is the closest version we have to the original scrolls. The Bible is the Word of God. Do you believe this? 49% of surveyed Christians said they do not believe that the Bible is not the Word of God. The world will teach you that the Bible is not God's Word. The Old Testament is just as relevant as the newspaper is for today. Some people have been taught that it's not important and people believe this. Matthew 4; when Jesus was tempted by Satan, He didn't preach a message but quoted the scripture.  Our Master has ALL power.  All power has been given to Jesus. Some people serve a church or a denomination, and some even serve a cell phone. Jesus stated He has the power to lay His life down and to lift it back up. He has power over death! No one has ever lived like Jesus for 33 and a half years and sinless the entire time. The Jews didn't kill Jesus. The cross, scourging, or even the loss of blood didn't kill Him. Jesus died when HE said He was going to die. No one died like Jesus died. No one was raised from the dead like Jesus was. No one is coming back like Jesus is coming back, 1 Corinthians 15:51-58. Many people believe in false gods dying and waking up in a devil's Hell.  We as a Christian have no right to fear anything!
