Mom Made Plans - Routines & Easy Life Hacks To Get Organized & Be More Productive
We all pretty much struggle with too much clutter in our homes. Today we try to address one of the root issues of how we get there... our buying habits that get us into trouble of constantly bringing new stuff to pile up in our house. It can start in the store with caving into our tantrum throwing children who won't stop asking for a toy or candy or whatever it is they decide to obsess over. Then it's the all too easy access to a quick amazon purchase... And the closet is a whole other beast to tackle... Well we go over some practical shifts in our mindset and expectation around buying items for our homes. And this includes some aha moments including the pyschology of the cocktail dress you will hear at the end. You're going to feel a lot more empowered to slow the accumulation of stuff in your home after listening to today's awesome conversation! Robyn Reynolds founded Organize2Harmonize in 2008. She was bound to be a professional organizer, eventually furthering her status by becoming a certified professional organizer because of her natural ability to organize any and everything her entire life. Kelty Dorsey and Robyn Reynolds join us to discuss our eternal disappointment upon finding out this fact: Mike Myers' original script for Wayne's World 2 had Wayne and Garth forming their own country and seceding from the US after finding an ancient scroll, in a story taken from the 1949 British comedy Passport to Pimlico. This version was well into pre-production before it came to light that the studio had no idea the script was based on a previous film and thus had not obtained the rights to Passport to Pimlico. Production was immediately halted.

Happy New Year! We're back with brand new content next week, but while I recover from some sort of holiday season plague, here's one of our favorites from May 2017. Certified organizer Robyn Reynolds swears we can organize ANYTHING that’s worth keeping and bring harmony into our homes. Using her childhood home as her personal workshop, she found joy in organizing and re-organizing every room, closet, cabinet and drawer to perfection. As an adult, Robyn continued to hone her skills as a fashion merchandiser and a personal assistant. After a short-lived career as an actress, Robyn found herself at a professional crossroad. She decided to take a leap of faith and follow her lifelong dream of creating an environment where organizing was her focus and Organize2Harmonize was born. As a long-time member of NAPO (National Association of Professional Organizers), a Certified Professional Organizer and a Golden Circle Member, Robyn has steadily grown her business into a recognized and trusted name in the organization industry. In addition to being quoted in the Huffington Post, Woman’s Day magazine and numerous other publications, Robyn has also worked on the television show “Hoarders.” She just published her first book and is working on another one.
Robyn Reynolds makes the boys Bing boys.
Robyn L. Reynolds Robyn's book, Let Them Know...That I am Here, is a remarkable story of life after death demonstrated with beautiful spirit photography from around the world. With the choice of how to be in this life after a devastating loss of an only child, a journey began to not live in the grief of this loss, but to honor the essence of this child and the lives that remained yet lived. This decision brought with it a journey of discovery and connection to not only what they thought they had lost but to some of the mystery and magic of life itself. Robyn cultivates these connections to the afterlife by inviting spirit into her life - on the ordinary days as well as special days set aside to celebrate, travel or simply remember - and she asks those in attendance in spirit to validate their presence in pictures she takes along the way. Robyn takes great joy in introducing the spirits connected to her to the spirits she meets - connecting her loved ones to your loved ones - for they are all around us still supporting, loving, responding and interacting with each of us. Robyn provides Cultivating Connections to the After Life workshops and travel tours teaching how to connect to our loved ones and the spirits of the lands through spirit photography. It is in the sharing of our experiences that one can grow beyond what we know. For those interested in sharing their magical experiences Robyn created the publishing company The Traveling Soul Press. Robyn L. Reynolds and her partner in life lost their beloved only child at the age of 20. Their grief and Kyle's efforts to communicate with them began for them an amazing journey through signs, communication, spirit photography, and eventually Reiki healing... and their journey is ongoing.
