Stephanie Denson, founder of Spirit and Space, is one of those people. We work in similar ways. While I help clients create homes that feel aligned and supported, Stephanie helps them clear the space both literally and energetically so their lives can expand. And honestly, clutter impacts how you feel in a space just as much as Feng Shui does.In this episode, we talk about the emotional side of downsizing, why "what if syndrome" keeps us stuck, and how small decisions about your belongings can actually be transformative. Stephanie shares stories of real clients like Sue, who was ready to move to senior living but felt paralyzed by her possessions and what changed when she finally let herself let go.We also dive into:Why downsizing doesn't have to mean getting rid of things you loveHow to find the right home for items that still have valueThe difference between holding on because you need it and holding on because you're afraidWhy starting small creates momentumWhat happens when you leave clutter clearing until the last minute (spoiler: it's exhausting)If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed by your stuff, or thinking about downsizing, this episode is for you. Jaclyn shares how she turned her passion for simplifying motherhood into a thriving business that helps women declutter their homes and find calm in the chaos, especially during the most wonderful (and sometimes overwhelming) time of year. In this episode, you'll learn how to actually organize your seasonal decor so it's easy to find, how to make the most of small spaces, and why subtracting before adding is the secret to a more peaceful home. Jaclyn also drops game-changing tips for organizing your wrapping station, keeping track of gifts, and letting go of sentimental items, yes, even that Christmas decoration you feel guilty parting with. Plus, we chat about creating cozy holiday vibes that don't add more clutter and why experience-based gifts often mean more than another mug or mantle piece. So grab your favorite holiday drink, put on your festive playlist, and get ready to simplify your season. You'll walk away with practical tips, a few “why didn't I think of that?” moments, and the gentle reminder that a meaningful holiday isn't about more stuff, it's about more peace, presence, and purpose.
