How do you decluttering your mind? In this enlightening discussion, Angela Brown engages with Terry Tucker, a renowned motivational coach and author of "Sustainable Excellence: 10 Principles to Leading Your Uncommon and Extraordinary Life." Terry talks about the importance of taking control and uncluttering one's mind, especially during moments of uncertainty and transition. He also emphasizes the significance of open communication and trust in relationships, drawing parallels from his experiences as a hostage negotiator. He highlights the essential role of empathy in building trust, whether in personal or professional settings. Terry's philosophy is the idea that individuals are more than their jobs or titles. He challenges the notion that success is defined by external accomplishments, advocating instead for a focus on giving and making a positive impact. Terry encourages listeners to tap into their innate potential and strive for purposeful contributions. Angela underscores the transformative power of Terry's principles, urging listeners to explore his book and embrace its wisdom. Through their dialogue, Angela and Terry inspire listeners to embark on self-discovery, empowerment, and meaningful living, where clarity of mind and a commitment to service pave the way to lasting fulfillment. #HoardingWorld #AskAngelaBrown Chapters: 00:00:00 Introduction 00:00:58 Building Trust and Support 00:03:04 Influence and Family Expectations 00:03:29 Identity Beyond Job Titles 00:05:44 Discovering Inner Fulfillment 00:06:30 Giving Back and Making a Difference SPONSORSHIPS & BRANDS ------------------- Today's #ClutterCornerLive sponsor is #SavvyCleaner training for house cleaners and maids. - https://savvycleaner.com/join And your host today is #AngelaBrown - https://g.page/r/CbMI6YFuLU2GEBI/review RESOURCES ("Paid Link") ------------------ Sustainable Excellence: Ten Principles To Leading Your Uncommon And Extraordinary Life: https://amzn.to/3NwxCnL Why the F*#@ Am I Still Not Organized?: Stop Struggling with Clutter Once and for All: https://amzn.to/41r4hAR The LMW Edits Method: Common Sense Organizing for Modern Urban Living: https://amzn.to/48j4XdN The Hands-On Guide to Decluttering Your Home: https://amzn.to/3RjXiFg A No Nonsense Guide to Organizing Your Home: https://amzn.to/3tn0GHx REPROGRAM YOUR MIND SLEEP TAPES The New Normal Sleep Tape - https://youtu.be/ebLJJA6rUHw The New Tape | Affirmations Of A Clean and Orderly Home | "I AM" - https://youtu.be/n13ZBvaCMjw * When available, we use affiliate links, and as Amazon Associates, we earn on qualifying purchases. Decluttering, that buzzword we often associate with minimalist living and tidy homes, offers more than just aesthetic satisfaction—it can be a game-changer for those with ADHD. Dive in with me as we explore the transformative ways in which clearing out the excess can pave the path for focus, peace, and a more manageable day-to-day life for those with ADHD. In fact, it can force you to look within yourself and go deeper than just asking "Do I need this?" or "Does it bring joy?" It involves embracing honesty so you can get to the real heart of the matter. On today's episode I'm pulling back the curtain in my life as I'm discussing being vulnerable with decluttering and how it can lead to more self acceptance and love—not always an easy thing for me. While it can be challenging because decluttering forces us to confront our fears, it can also empower us to nurture acceptance of our true self. By the end of this episode, my hope is that you will take a moment to reflect and see if you are being open in your life. When you're open to that self acceptance you can get the results you actually want - not ones you think you want because you see others doing it that way, and not holding yourself back because you're scared of what it would mean to really go after your dream. This episode of the Wannabe Clutter Free podcast will help you discover: How clearing physical clutter can clear mental clutter Why embracing vulnerability starts with uncovering emotions The real reason we shouldn't strive for perfection How social media plays into being vulnerable Tips for letting go of sentimental gifts from loved ones while still being kind ********************** Music: Fresh Lift by Shane Ivers - https://www.silvermansound.com Happy by MBB https://soundcloud.com/mbbofficial Creative Commons — Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported — CC BY-SA 3.0 Free Download / Stream: https://bit.ly/Happy-MBB Music promoted by Audio Library https://youtu.be/g6swHZbWtRc ********************** Subscribe & Review Are you subscribed to the Wannabe Clutter Free podcast? Decluttering can sometimes feel overwhelming if we have let ourselves accumulate more than we really want or need. Certain times of life can get busy and we put things like decluttering aside. When we think about decluttering we might envision a big project that we don't have time for. Decluttering is important because it can really help reduce stress in your life. When we have too many things, it's difficult to keep up with managing and caring for it all. It can also be difficult to organize what you do have and to find things when you need them. We often put off decluttering because we think it will take too much time. We can wait until we have a big chunk of time to devote to decluttering. As you know this may take a long time to happen, if ever! Or we can find little bits of time and declutter as we live our lives. So, like with many things we talk about, something is better than nothing. It will make a big impact in your life to do a little bit of decluttering during the regular course of your life than waiting until you have time to empty and sort through an entire closet. https://www.lolasfrugallife.com https://www.facebook.com/LolasFrugalLife/ Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/lolak/support Check out my Etsy Shop: LolasFrugalLife - Etsy --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/lolak/support

In today's episode Kathi dives deep with author Amberly Neese, as they discuss how their clutter journeys and spiritual journeys collide. Feeling guilty about getting rid of things we no longer need, or being paralyzed by the fear of needing more in the future, reveals what we believe about the goodness of God and how much we can trust Him to provide for us. How do we untangle our faith while working through our cluttered closets? Recognize how God provides for our needs - often through the generosity of other people. Take the words “bad” and “good” out of the conversation in regards to buying. Recognize the patterns and make different choices in the future. Think of the person who will receive the items you donate and pray for them. Keep what you use, and be okay without the excess. A house with less clutter allows for more peace and joy.
