Planet Buzz's episode about the new outer planet cycle “NEPTUNE IN ARIES Emerging Truth”.“According to Vibrational Astrology, Neptune consciousness attracts what is beyond into the extraordinary making life feel magical. It could be a wonderful concert or sports game for some, or for others, connecting with mystical spirituality. An outer planet, astrology generally considers Neptune focused on the mysterious, and how we inspire. It is as British Roy Gillett says, “the sea of our unconscious life'. March 30 Neptune leaves watery Pisces to enter the fire of Aries beginning the spark of life for a 14-year cycle,” said Sue Minahan, founder, and host of the weekly show. “Neptune in Aries imagines visions, ideals and dreams, possibly bringing imagery experiencing art or music. Courage encourages us to pursue our direction and avoid any sense of victimhood or idle escapism into negative illusions. Neptune's empathy encourages identifying with others. An internal meditative practice brings awareness and understanding of self, others, grounding personal actions to navigate uncertainty, and refocus beliefs of our relationships with the collective and purpose. Neptune's transit in Aries, encounters personal and collective actions and choices renewing birth in various realms.”Talk Cosmos Planet Buzz connects with a myriad of new or returning Special Guests from around the USA and parts of the world contemplating potent subjects concerning us all. Panet Buzz's panel 2025 Capricorn episode, “NODES PISCES VIRGO: The Details Are in the Gods”.“The Lunar Nodes are points of intersection as the word ‘node' indicates ‘union'. The orbital paths of the moon and sun cross as the moon travels north or south of the ecliptic. The moon weaves back and forth across the ecliptic regularly, but every 18 months these astrological points begin a new cycle. They transit backwards in the horoscope, to the previous signs because they move according to the primary motion of the earth's rotation (rather than the secondary motion which is the earth's orbit around the sun),” said Sue Minahan, founder, and host of the weekly show. “These points represent our karma we have inherited through many lifetime experiences in the South Node, and the polar opposite in the evolutionary North Node of Destiny. Hello friends! Musician and author of White Noise & Lightning: The Continental Drifters Story, Sean Kelley and Continental Drifter and Guitar player of The Bangles, Vicki Peterson are my guests for episode 1428. White Noise & Lightning: The Continental Drifters Story follows ten disparate musicians from humble beginnings at a dive bar residency in Los Angeles through lineup changes, addiction, marriages, divorces, and industry letdowns. The Continental Drifters, composed of members of The Bangles, The Cowsills, The Dream Syndicate, The dB's, and more, found each because they'd been burned by the music industry and sought refuge in a freewheeling environment where they could experiment without constraint. When everything fell apart in New Orleans a decade later, they ended up with so much more. White Noise & Lightning: The Continental Drifters Story Drops next Friday, Sept. 27 along with We're All Drifters: A Tribute To The Continental Drifters, a 2 CD tribute album featuring Marshall Crenshaw, Kim Richey, Rosie Flores and more. Go to continentaldriftersbook.com for book and album info. Go to continentaldrifters.com for music, photos, merch and more. We have a great conversation about the book, the journey of the Continental Drifters and more. I had a blast getting to know Vicki and Sean. I'm sure you will too. Let's get down! Extreme weather events are becoming more and more common. In July, Hurricane Beryl wreaked havoc on the Gulf Coast, causing 3 million Texans to lose power in the midst of a soaring heat wave, which killed 23 people. Critics have raised questions about Houston's power providers preparedness for a disaster like Beryl, and have raised concerns about the long delay in restoring power at a time where access to AC and power could have saved lives. Ever increasing extreme weather events like Beryl require utilities, retail electricity providers (REPs), independent power producers (IPPs), and other energy traders and suppliers to rapidly forecast and adjust supply in order to provide safe, reliable, and cost-effective electricity. Traditional electricity demand forecasts, which rely on sparse weather data, analog meter readings, and regression-based historical demand data, are insufficient in the face of such events. In order to better respond to extreme weather events, and facilitate the energy transition, we need solutions that turn energy data into action and insights for power providers to prevent outages, provide reliable power, predict demand, and even provide carbon insights. And that is exactly what Sean Kelley, CEO and Co-Founder of Amperon, is building.
