Dominika Hašková se narodila v americkém Bufallu a velkou část dětství prožila v Detroitu, kde měl angažmá jej otec, jímž je legendární hokejový brankář Dominik Hašek. Opravdu zpívat však prý začala až po přestěhování s celou rodinou do Česka. V roce 2010 se zúčastnila soutěže Česko Slovensko má talent, o několik let později v Londýně společně se dvěma norskými spoluhráči skupinu We Are Domi. Tak pak v roce 2022 reprezentovala Česko na Eurosongu v italském Turíně. V tuto chvíli celá trojice pobývá v Praze, ačkoliv je jasné, že jejich electropop má mezinárodní ambice. Po šestiletém studiu konzervatoře v anglickém Leedsu chtěla Dominika Hašková zkusit s kapelou štěstí v Londýně. Její plány ale překazila pandemie. Uzavření veřejných podniků nepřálo koncertování, ani práci za barem, kterou si zpěvačka přivydělávala už během školy. A tak se rozhodla vrátit zpátky do tehdy rozvolněného Česka. S vidinou toho, že si společně zahrají na letních festivalech, ji následovali oba norští spoluhráči. I ta se ale záhy rozplynula. „Přišli jsme sem s tím, že jsme se těšili na koncerty, a pak já jsem byla první, kdo dostal covid, a potom se nakazili kluci. Když jsme byli konečně hotoví s karanténou, tak šlo Česko do lockdownu,“ popisuje Hašková souhru okolností, která se navzdory všem překážkám ukázala jako šťastná. Už 12. května bude totiž česko-norské trio, které si říká We Are Domi, reprezentovat Českou republiku na Velké ceně Eurovize 2022.
