Ab und an gibt's mit Titeln wie Wreckfest 2 (jetzt im Early Access) ein kleines Lebenszeichen, aber ansonsten scheint das Genre eher tot zu sein. Selbst bei den Indies tut sich wenig, steht doch das Solo-Projekt Crumple Zone (https://store.steampowered.com/app/785760/Crumple_Zone/) als Hommage an Destruction Derby ziemlich allein auf weiter Flur.
