Intro: Gail NoblesStory by: Gail NoblesPhoto: Derek CasonUsage: Wikipedia CC BY-SA 4.0Alright, let's groove to this! “A Mother for My Children” by The Whispers is a soulful tune that hits deep, blending that funky vibe with a touch of disco magic. It came out in 1973, a time when music was all about feelings and rhythm. Now, the lyrics tell a heartfelt story. Here we have a man who's feeling pretty lonely, struggling to raise his two kids all by himself. The little ones are asking about their mom, who's not around anymore. That's rough! He's doing all the housework and trying to keep it together, but when Mother's Day rolls around, the kids' questions just make it harder. He's on the search for a new mother figure for his children, someone to fill that gap in their lives. It's not about wanting any old buddy; he's looking for a true mother who can bring love and care back into their home. The Whispers wrap this heavy message in smooth melodies and funky beats, creating a sound that makes you want to dance while also tugging at your heartstrings. It's a classic example of how soul and disco can tell deep stories while keeping you moving! So, take a listen—let the rhythm take you away while you reflect on the love and family vibes.I'm Gail Nobles. Thank you for listening to The Cat Bear.

Hey mission fam! In this special episode#210, I'm sharing an incredible interview from the Christ-Centered Family Summit with Stephanie Bundrock. We dive deep into the world of missionary mindset, anxiety, and how we can support our missionaries before, during, and after their missions. I share my journey of becoming an LDS mission coach and why I'm so passionate about helping young adults navigate the unique challenges of missionary life. We talk about some game-changing strategies for managing anxiety, including my favorite technique of "becoming the compassionate watcher." I break down how parents and leaders can support missionaries by normalizing their feelings, validating their experiences, and meeting them exactly where they are - just like Christ would. Whether you're a preparing missionary, a current missionary, a return missionary, or a missionary parent, this episode is packed with insights on how to approach the mission experience with love, understanding, and emotional resilience. As a bonus, I'm offering two free resources: a Preparing Missionary Cheat Sheet and a guide with 5 Tips to Help Your Return Missionary Transition Home. These tools are designed to help you and your missionary build confidence, manage emotions, and create a Christ-centered mission experience. Grab them in the show notes, and remember - you've got this, and I'm here to support you every step of the way! As always, if you found this episode helpful, I want to invite you to subscribe if you aren't already, share this episode with your friends and missionaries you know, and write a review. I know this work will help LDS missionaries around the world and it would mean so much to me if you did. Until next week my friends. Stephanie Bundrock is the founder of My Children's Heroes, a Christ-centered company that helps families bring the Book of Mormon to life—starting right in their bedrooms with beautifully designed hero bedsheets. These daily visual reminders pair perfectly with her Family Scripture Study system, a quick, meaningful, and teen-approved way for families to consistently draw closer to Christ. Stephanie is married to her best friend of 25 years and adores her five beautiful teens and young adults. She finds joy in sunset walks, watercoloring, country dancing, lunch with friends, and quiet moments of prayer and meditation. Be Bold & Fix Your Eyes On Jesus (Be Bold Series)Matthew 14:26-31 “ When the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were terrified. “It is a ghost,” they said, and they cried out in fear.  At once, [Jesus] spoke to them, “Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.” Peter said to him in reply, “Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water.”  He said, “Come.” Peter got out of the boat and began to walk on the water toward Jesus. But when he saw how [strong] the wind was, he became frightened, and, beginning to sink, he cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately, Jesus stretched out his hand, caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”I love this story. I remember the first time I remember someone talking about it was a speaker at a retreat in England. The theme of the retreat was Radical Trust. I loved that theme from the moment that I heard it. I instantly knew that was what I wanted. I wanted to have radical trust in the Lord. The speaker talked about how she loved Peter because he was always ready to follow the Lord. It seemed as though he didn't always think before he did things, but that was part of what made him so special.Just before the disciples were on this boat, they had just been with Jesus as he spoke to a large group of people, and they got to be a part of the miracle of feeding the 5,000 men with five loaves of bread and two fish. They witnessed a miracle and got to be a part of it. Afterward, Jesus told them to get in the boat and go ahead to the other side while he dismissed the people. Once the crowds of people had left, Jesus climbed the mountain to be alone to pray with his Father. He stayed there late into the night. Once he was done, He decided to catch up with His disciples on the water. However, it was the middle of the night, and all they saw was someone walking towards them on the water. They didn't know who it was and they were afraid.I think we all would have reacted this way if we saw someone walking on the water towards us. However, when they called out to Him, He answered them and told them they had nothing to fear, that it was Jesus. Then I love what Peter did next. He told the Lord if it is really you, command me to come out on the water with you. Jesus said, Come. What happens next is remarkable. Jesus invites Peter out onto the water, and Peter gets out of the boat onto the water. I wonder how many of us would have the courage to ask the Lord to invite us to join Him, and then when He did, how many of us would actually be brave enough to get out of the boat.I have asked the Lord for many things. I have asked Him to use me for healing, and then I have absolutely had times when He said ok, and yet I was too afraid to do what He called me to do. Has this ever happened to you? You asked the Lord for something, and then when he said yes, you were surprised and afraid? I love that Peter just stepped out of the boat and was walking on the water with the Lord, at least for a bit. That is amazing. Imagine the opportunity Peter would have missed out on if he hadn't asked or if he hadn't gotten out of the boat. I wonder if all the other apostles were sad they hadn't asked the Lord to call them out of the boat? The next part is a part I think we can all relate to. Peter got out of the boat. He was walking on water to the Lord, and all was great, and then he took his eyes off of Jesus and looked at the world around him. Instead of keeping his eyes fixed on Jesus, he looked around and saw how [strong] the wind was. He became frightened and began to sink. I think we have all been here before, too. We had our eyes fixed on Jesus. We knew we were doing what He called us to do, all was going great, and then we started to look around us. We noticed others talking about us, we noticed the circumstances around us were different, we got enticed by our surroundings, and we stopped doing what we knew we should do.God is not always calling us to do something easy. He is not always calling us to do something that will feel good or that will please others. Remember, Paul was thrown into prison while he was doing the work God called him to do. He was not in prison for disobeying the Lord; he was following the Lord's directions and was imprisoned for it. You may know that you are doing the right thing, and yet if you take your eyes off Jesus and look around you, it may seem like the circumstances around you are overwhelming. If you start to listen to those around you, you may start to sink, just as Peter did.I think it is important for us all to remember what happened to Peter so that if we are in a similar circumstance, we will know what to do. When Peter took his eyes off Jesus and started to sink, he cried out to the Lord, who saved Him. It says in the verse above, “He cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately, Jesus stretched out his hand, caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” It does not say that Jesus took His time to walk over to Peter and help him. It says that Jesus immediately stretched out His hand and caught him. Jesus will do the same for you.We should try our best to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus. When we do, we will not stray from the path God has laid out for us. We will not feel stressed or overwhelmed because we know that God is there to lead and help us. However, when we take our eyes off Jesus, which we will because we are human and make mistakes, it is important to know that all we need to do is call out to the Lord, and He will be right there, stretching out his hand to us. God will always be there for us! That we can count on.Dear Heavenly Father, I ask you to bless everyone who is listening to this episode today. Lord, you are amazing, and we are so grateful you are calling us all to something amazing. We are sorry when we pull back or are too scared to step into that calling. We are sorry when we step into it and fall down because we take our eyes off you. Please help us to keep our eyes fixed on you. We love you, Lord, and we ask all of this in accordance with your will and in Jesus's holy name, Amen!Thank you so much for joining me on this journey to walk boldly with Jesus. Ancient and latter-day prophets have often testified of the importance of gospel-centered parenting. King Benjamin once taught, “But ye will teach them to walk in the ways of truth and soberness; ye will teach them to love one another, and to serve one another” (Mosiah 4:15). President Russell M. Nelson has exclaimed, “No other work transcends that of righteous, intentional parenting!” In this episode Dr. Mark D. Ogletree, professor of Church history and doctrine, discusses a critical branch in gospel-centered parenting: intentional fatherhood. Professor Ogletree outlines the characteristics and attributes of intentional fatherhood—principles that apply to all parents and mentors—by examining Alma's counsel with Helaman, Shiblon, and Corianton. Alma exemplifies a pattern of intentional behaviors as he testifies of the Savior and the truthfulness of the gospel, teaches his sons their ancestry, sets a righteous example and leaves the past behind him, offers individual counsel and praise to each son, calls his children to repentance, and teaches them true doctrine. Modern parents will be inspired on how to teach, direct, and interact with their children as they study the teachings of Alma 36–42.    Publications:  “Alma as an Intentional Father” (in Give Ear to My Words: Text and Context of Alma 36-42, Religious Studies Center, 2019)  Beyond the Honeymoon: 25 Questions and Answers About Marital Intimacy (Ogletree, Pistorius, & Brinley, Covenant Communications, 2024)  Heaven Is Cheering You On: Spiritual Survival in the Last Days (Cedar Fort, 2024)  The Making of a Man: A Guide to Raising Strong, Resilient Sons (2023)  Babysitters are Cheaper than Divorces: And Other Lessons I Hope I Have Passed Down to My Children (2022)  So You're In Love, Now What? 20 Q&A to Help You Make the Marriage Decision (Deseret Book, 2022)  No Other Success: The Parenting Practices of David O. Inexpressible and Glorious Joy1 Peter 1:8-9 “Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,  for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.”I asked my friend to choose a verse for me while I was at a retreat.  She chose this one. I am not sure I knew this one, and yet I love it.  I know I say that a lot.  It is true God is so good, and there are countless verses from the Bible that I love.  I love this one because it ends with the salvation of our souls, and who wouldn't love that?  As much as I love this verse, I know it is a hard verse to accomplish. It can be hard to believe in something we can't see. When I first read this verse, I thought it was pretty easy because I was thinking about how many of us haven't seen God before, and yet we love Him.  The retreat I was at was filled with women who all believed in God, and yet we had not ever seen God. We all had different degrees of faith and possibly even different beliefs in God. However, we all believed that God was looking out for us and that He was our Lord and Savior. How is this possible? When I got to thinking about it, I wondered if it is true that many of us haven't seen God before.  Yes, it is true that we have not seen God in person, like those who walked with Jesus did. However, I think many of us see God in our lives often.  Maybe not every day unless we are specifically looking for Him, but we do see Him working.  Even if it was only once, we have probably seen God.  The question is, did we know it was God when we saw Him?Did we know that the kind person who paid for our coffee was the face of God?  Did we know the person who held the door of the elevator was the face of God?  Did we know the person who was in front of us at the store was the face of God?  Did we know the stranger who said a kind word was the face of God?  Did we know the breakthrough we received at work was a gift from God?  Did we know it was God who helped us through that jam?  Did we know it was God who made that awesome thing happen?  I am blessed to have had parents who saw God working in everything they did!  I am blessed to have parents who saw God everywhere they went.  They knew without a shadow of a doubt that God loved them, and they loved Him. However, we are not all that lucky. Some of us didn't grow up with parents who pointed out all the ways God was helping out their family. Yet, even people who didn't grow up learning about the faith can still believe in God. My friend Catherine didn't grow up learning about the Lord, and yet He found her right when she needed Him most. God is good like that. He will come and chase us down and reveal Himself to us when He knows we will be open to it. I am sure God reveals Himself to us more than once, and He keeps revealing Himself to us until we are ready to see Him.I think we are able to love Him even though we can't see Him because we can see His work in our lives. We can believe in Him even though we can't see Him because we can see all He has done in our lives, all He has done for us. If you look throughout your life for places where the Lord has been, I know you will find them. Now that my friend knows Jesus, she can see where He showed up for her all throughout her life. She didn't know it was Him at the time, but now she can look back and see that He was there. I think this is why we can love Him, even though we haven't seen Him. We have seen Him. We just didn't realize it was Him.I also love this verse because it says, "You believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy.” Have you felt this inexpressible and glorious joy? I have, and it is amazing. I had heard people talk about the Joy of the Lord before when I was younger, and I am not sure I knew what that meant. However, now I know. It is this joy that wells up inside of you when you think about Him. It is this joy you feel, even in the middle of some really difficult times. It's not a happiness. You are not happy you are in the circumstance you are in, but you are joyful because you know God will take care of you while you are in it. It is unlike any other feeling I have ever felt. It is a joy that you can't explain to others.I know someone who lost their husband suddenly. She said throughout the grieving process, she knew the Lord was with her. She said she had some moments of pure joy over the last 9 months. However, she said she could not share them with people because they wouldn't understand and would judge her for having joy while she was grieving. It wasn't that she was happy her husband was gone. She missed him very much. It was a joy of the Lord that she was feeling. God allowed her to feel joy in His presence, and it was a magical feeling. The verse ends with, “For you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.” Part of the reason for this joy that we feel is because we know that when we believe, the result will be the salvation of our souls. If that isn't something to be joyful about, then I don't know what is. The thought that we get to spend eternity with the Lord definitely brings me joy.Dear Heavenly Father, I ask you to bless all those listening to the episode today. Lord, we thank you for loving us. We thank you for helping us to believe even when we can't see you. We thank you for all the ways you show up in our lives, even when we don't realize it is you. You are so good to us. Thank you for the joy you fill us with. Lord, if there is anyone listening to this who has not felt this joy, I ask that you fill them up with it today. Lord, we love you, and we ask all this in accordance with your will and in Jesus's holy name. Amen.Thank you so much for joining me on this journey to walk boldly with Jesus. We Need To Check Ourselves (1)  (audio)  David Eells 1/3/24  We are very close to the appearance of the Man-child reformers to chose the Bride. It is past time to stop playing and draw close to the Lord. It is time to check ourselves to be sure we are in the running. Major disasters are coming at the same time so pray that you are accounted worthy to escape all these things. Lam 3:40 Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to Jehovah.  1Co 11:27-34 Wherefore whosoever shall eat the bread or drink the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord. 28 But let a man prove himself, and so let him eat of the bread, and drink of the cup. 29 For he that eateth and drinketh, eateth and drinketh judgment unto himself, if he discern not the body. 30 For this cause many among you are weak and sickly, and not a few sleep. 31 But if we discerned ourselves, we should not be judged.   32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world. 33 Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, wait one for another. 34 If any man is hungry, let him eat at home; that your coming together be not unto judgment. And the rest will I set in order whensoever I come.  2Co 13:5 Try your own selves, whether ye are in the faith; prove your own selves. Or know ye not as to your own selves, that Jesus Christ is in you? unless indeed ye be reprobate. Gal 6:4 But let each man prove his own work, and then shall he have his glorying in regard of himself alone, and not of his neighbor. Psa 139:23-24 Search me, O God, and know my heart: Try me, and know my thoughts; 24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting. Psa 26:1-2 A Psalm of David. Judge me, O Jehovah, for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in Jehovah without wavering. 2 Examine me, O Jehovah, and prove me; Try my heart and my mind.  Eph 5:15-21 Look therefore carefully how ye walk, not as unwise, but as wise; 16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Wherefore be ye not foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. 18 And be not drunken with wine, wherein is riot, but be filled with the Spirit; 19 speaking one to another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord; 20 giving thanks always for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father; 21 subjecting yourselves one to another in the fear of Christ.  (Rev 3:11  I come quickly: hold fast that which thou hast, that no one take thy crown.)      Purposely Desire The Lord  Anonymous 4/7/23 (David's notes in red)  Nothing comes from anything else other than Me. Not your own works, or other people, or this earth. Just Me. (Joh 3:27 ASV  John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it have been given him from heaven.)  Endure the suffering now. Have selflessness now above all. If it hurts or is undesirable to the flesh, it is most likely to be for My Glory. (As in Death to self; the crucified life.)  There are testings of your patience and diligence to make way for the end result of My Will.  And these testings will enable you to always resist the enemy.  Have a high regard and hope of Who I Am! (The highest of all, the creator of all; cares for you.) Ask yourself, can there be anything I cannot do? Would I leave anything undone? (Jer 32:27 ASV  Behold, I am Jehovah, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?) Keep loving so much so, that the intensity drives darkness into nothingness.  You are in a very tough but major change. Be ready for the blessings in abundance. (I felt to be ready to utilize, not just receive.)  Let go of your own feelings and satisfactions. Look at My Son. Did He not lay His life down for you, and yet said nothing? (We are to do just the same as Lord Jesus.) NENT Act 8:32-35 Now the passage of the scripture which he was reading was this, He was led as a sheep to slaughter; And as a lamb before his shearer is dumb, So he openeth not his mouth: 33 In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: His generation who shall declare? For his life is taken from the earth. 34 And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other? 35 And Philip opened his mouth, and beginning from this scripture, preached the gospel to him, Jesus.   1Jn 3:16 Hereby know we love, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.  Repent quickly. The quicker you do so, you can then be close to each other as I am to you. (I saw a triangle. We must yearn for each other in unity.)  You are in a time of sanctification. Tried and true. (I saw how metal being beaten into shape by a blacksmith and tried and proven and made stronger in a fiery furnace.)  There is nothing that compares to My Love. I want you and desire your company forever. Cherish this and do not get distracted from My Love. I am pure and true. Everything else is a test of our love together.  When you see the time where children and those young in faith are speaking as Jesus did in the temple, then you are unable to ask for more time for the end of time is here. Be ready. (I felt that these are the times where we are seeing those being called out from the apostate churches, His Sheep who follow His Voice, for Our Father's Glory.)   NENT Luk 2:46-49 And it came to pass, after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both hearing them, and asking them questions: 47 and all that heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers. 48 And when they saw him, they were astonished; and his mother said unto him, Child, why hast thou thus dealt with us? lo, thy father and I seek thee sorrowing. 49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? knew ye not that I must be about my Father's business.   Trust Me. I have a way. (I felt we are to let go of all our desires and to treat each day as the last. Not for pleasure but for closeness to Him.)  Hold to Me. Never let go. You are doing well and keeping true on the righteous path. Never let this be a reason to stop or slow down. Never allow lies or self to be a hinderance to our life together – now.      There Must Be An Exchange  Debbie Fenske 12/30/23 (David's notes in red)  My children let Me speak this Word of love to you from My heart.  Being where you are does not make you part of My Holy Bride. Only ignoring this world around you, and consuming yourself with the business of My Kingdom, willingly and faithfully from a heart of total repentance, and a life of Holy Living as you abide in Me, do I stamp upon you, “Holiness To the Lord."  In this hour of much darkness and much falling away of My people, I need your oneness with Me, and I so desire My oneness with you. I need you to be in the thick of warfare against this darkness. Realize the exchange that has taken place. I have been exchanged for meaningless activities. Do you really understand the times we are in? Yes, we are in this together. You need to make the exchange back from the meaninglessness to My High Calling, exchange from darkness to light. Yes. I say that this is an exchange from darkness to light.  Let Me open your eyes so that you will see the darkness where you spend so much of your time. This world and the things that are only for occupying your mind and your time are things of darkness. (The distractions of the pleasures of the flesh are darkness.) For a very short time, now, My hand of invitation is still mercifully stretched out to you. What great mercy I have given to you, My people. I have given you so much of everything. So much of Myself. And now the choosing of My Bride is at hand.  This is the time to make the exchange. You know what I am asking each of you. Search your hearts. Examine your hearts. Separation is not what I am merely asking of you. I Am requiring it of you. Be diligent to enter the fight for those to whom I have called, and am calling, still, out of My great mercy. Enter in, in the beauty of holiness. Remember, desire is not enough. Your will must win over mere desire. Just as My will was to give My life for Yours, so now, so close in this last hour, will you by your will, and by My extended grace and mercy, give up your life for Me and for others? There are many who need you to give up your life for them, in warfare for them against the enemy.  Have you not known that playtime has been over? The time has always been for death to self, but life in Me, for Me and with Me in our Kingdom Reign together on this earth for eternity. Eternity is right now. Right now, spend it with Me on your knees. Keep your hearts bowed. I Am waiting to cloth you with My glory. Are you making yourselves worthy of My High Calling?  You are not alone, though you may feel it, being separated from beloved friends and family. For I have given you one another, a family to work together, to come into this calling together as one in Me. I love you, My Children.      So Many Will Not Be Kept Safe   Debbie Fenske 9/30/23 (David's notes in red)    I received this last Thursday night, 9-28-23. It was our worship and praise night on the Zoom Outreach conference call. I could not share it that night because I knew I had to pray about how to present this.  Our worship time was awesome. It was such a wonderful uplifting time. I was being really blessed worshiping and praising God, and being lifted up in my spirit, so, I was not prepared for such a turn that I received.   One of the last few songs we were singing had lyrics about how He will keep us in the fire, and He will keep us in the storm. After that song I began feeling a spirit of heaviness come over me. It just wasn't normal.   I asked Father, “What is this all about, God? Why am I feeling this way?” And then, suddenly I was seeing a vision of Jesus in a white robe. His hair was brown, and shoulder length. His head was somewhat bowed allowing His hair to fall forward over His shoulders, and hang down at each side of His face. Then, I was suddenly given a closer view of His face, like the way a camera focuses on an object. I could see Jesus was not happy. I could tell He was very sad, and grieving, and I could not understand that, because I thought our worship time was so great.  Then our worship went into another song with real high praise, and people were so happy, lifting up Jesus. The main lyrics, I will say, were, “I just can't stop praising His Name.” And the song kind of went on and on. I opened my eyes and watched as I was singing with them. It was really a great song. But I was feeling this heaviness at the same time,   Then, closing my eyes again, I was again seeing the same vision of Jesus, really grieving, with such sadness on His face. I couldn't understand this. I was still confused, asking myself, “Why this, now?” Then, Jesus faded out, and I was looking at what I had just been watching: people on stage, raising their arms, singing loudly, kicking their legs, and dancing, and twirling while praising God. I saw one group of praisers that were really dressed up, and then another group of praisers were in just jeans and T-shirt, just like what we were watching in these worship videos.   But what I heard the Lord say after that, I don't think He was necessarily applying to these particular groups, individuals, and choirs of people that we were just seeing in the worship videos. But He was referring to many people out there that are lifted up in this way. And not just groups or individuals who are popular out there, but to so many who are saying they are doing what they are doing for God's kingdom. But they are not. As I was watching that vision, and after seeing Jesus looking so sad and grieved, and feeling His heart, this is what the Lord said.   “So many will not be kept safe from the burning fire, from the storm, from the battle. They will not be kept safe, though they praise Me, because they have not known Me. They are deceived. Oh, they look like they know Me when they are singing great songs of praise to Me. But though they know that what they sing about Me is true, they do not know Me.”   “They boast in that I love them. But they cannot boast in their love for Me, for they do not know Me. Therefore, I do not know them. These people grieve My heart so, as I watch them make fools of themselves before the devil and his demons. If they only would really want to know what is in My Word. But they have no desire to know My Word, because they have no real desire to know Me. What they really desire is to be looked upon and worshiped by others. Foolish, they are.”  “And though it grieves Me, I know that there are many of them who realize they are empty of Me, and will repent, and come to Me, and follow Me. But so much more than those who will repent, are those who will not repent, and are going to stay on their stage singing their way into hell.”   After I finished writing this down, I just happened to opened my Bible. I wasn't, at this point, going for a random word for confirmation. But I was thinking I would do that. So I was really amazed when I read the verses that my eyes looked down at after I opened my Bible. Thank you Lord!   I looked at verse 7 of Matthew 7. I'm reading Matthew 7:6-7.  6 And He said unto them, “Rightly did Isaiah, prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: this people honors Me with their lips, but their hearts are far away from Me. 7 But in vain, do they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the precepts of men.”  So, the numbers, 767 strongly stood out to me. When numbers stand out to me I like to look them up in the Strongs concordance. So what Strongs says of 767 is, “of no mark, unmarked, or unstamped, insignificant, ignoble.”  Oh Father, You've shown that You do grieve for those who are in such a deceived state. It is scary to be thinking that people who worship You before men, are in that place. (Hollywood entertainment has invaded the Church.)  The same as all people who say they are Christians, but are deceived by doctrines of demons, thinking that popularity while wearing Your name tag is acceptable. They know of You only in their head, not in their heart. But so many do not realize that they are unmarked, or unstamped, and insignificant to You, and ignoble in what they think they are doing unto You, or for Your kingdom. And they don't realize that You do not know them. I pray that we, and all of Your people will always examine our hearts before You, searching our hearts, and repenting, of not worshipping You in spirit and in truth in all we do.  Father, as we are staying in Your Word, reveal to us where we are being in the flesh, and of any spirit of pride and self-grandeur which is so unpleasing to You, so that we can repent. Thank You for Your grace to us to stay in the light of Your Word, wanting Your light to shine on any darkness in our lives so that we can repent and remain true, pure, and clean before You, before one another, and before those out in the world, for Your honor and glory alone.   Please open the eyes of Your people, quickly, who don't see that they are in this dangerous, place, trapped in the lie of the devil that tells them they are right with You, while they are really just lifting up themselves, desiring only to please men. Please make them aware of the strong truth of Your words in Matthew 7:23, “I never knew you.” And Matthew 25:41“Depart from me ye cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.”   Lord, put in them a Holy fear of You, and cause them to repent, to change their ways by walking according to Your Word. Deliver them from the darkness so that they will be a Light in the darkness, bringing honor to only Your name, never to their own. And always, in all they do, worship You from their heart, in spirit, and in truth. Thank you, Father. Amen.      Sing For The Lord  Anonymous 4/9/23 (David's notes in red)  “Are you worshipping Me to make yourself feel good or are you doing it for (or to revere) Me? The songs you listen to and the words you sing, are they Holy? Are they, My Word? Are they truth? Or is it repetitive flesh pleasing and self-pleasing words? Are the words (lyrics) contrary to My Word?   Are the feelings you are experiencing the Holy Spirit, or the flesh being aroused? Is this for Me or for You?   Don't you know that you can't even speak or walk without Me and My grace? Use your mouth for Me and My Glory. Let Me bridle your tongue and let Me only speak through you. Stop speaking about self and singing for self. Think about how those who worship Me now in the Holy of Holies for eternity. You have heard some say, ‘Holy Holy Holy' and they don't speak or glorify self. Think and speak with Me about the beats you listen to.  Music goes straight to your soul and there is no filter, spirits transfer whether you see it or not. Are the people you are listening to singing from My Spirit? Are the instrumentals to Glorify Me and from Me or is it another spirit to make and manipulate you to feel a certain way? Is it making your flesh feel good? When the song finishes do you lose the joy? Does it feel like a come down? Or is it My Joy that is always present? Does the pleasure only last the duration of the song or is it My Peace which is always there?   Abide and remain in My presence. Ask Me and allow Me to open your eyes to see what spirits are singing, speaking and playing through in the songs you listen to. Allow Me to show you what is really happening in the spiritual when you listen to these songs. When you listen to it you are agreeing with it and in some ways, it has put you under curses.   Yes, My Grace is for you but I can't break or go against My own words. Touch NO unclean thing and be Holy as I Am Holy. I love when you sing to Me from your heart. It doesn't matter the tone of your voice or how it sounds in the physical. Your singing from your heart gives Me greater joy than you know. I created you to sing for me and dance for Me.   Allow My spirit to sing through you. You don't need to always listen to others singing when you don't even know what spirit they are singing from, and you don't even know them. Sing to Me, you don't even need a beat but sing to Me, My child with My Spirit, commune with Me not just in Spirit and Word but in songs and dance. When you are alone and when you come together.   The flesh doesn't like the Spirit singing and dancing through you to Me and will do anything to hinder it. Your Spirit desires to sing and dance to Me always. And when you do it hinders and crucifies the flesh so your Spirit rises up.   I love you My child but do these things. I desire you to be clean, holy, pure, undefiled. I Am with you and I will help you, I will show you if you just ask.”      Your Time Is My Time  Eve Brast 7/23/17 (David's notes in red)  Father spoke a word to me that I would like to share. I had been meditating on a couple of conversations I'd had with a brother and sister after the morning prayer meeting and, as a result, I asked Father to speak to me.  I realized I hadn't heard from Him in a while so I asked Him why he'd been silent lately? He answered me immediately as if He had been waiting for my attention.  He said, "I have not been silent. It's that your mind has been too loud. Empty your mind and void it of busyness and the soulish thoughts that continually scream for your attention. Still your mind and be quiet and you will hear My voice clearly.  Don't allow external distraction or the soulish thought life dull your discernment of the attacks from the enemy. He hides behind these and intermingles with them to keep you in turmoil and keep you from fully entering into the life and purpose I intend for you.  Guard your mind with My Word. Build the wall with the Rock of my Word and the mortar of quietness and stillness of mind. This will protect and strengthen your mind with My peace and a singleness of purpose. Cast down the soulish thought life and turn away from distraction. Shut them out so you can hear Me clearly and distinguish the voice of the enemy. Strive to walk out your days in stillness of mind. As you train your mind in this way, I will meet you there in the stillness.”  I asked our Father for a verse or text for this word and received: Psalm 139:3 (1-4), O Jehovah, thou hast searched me, and known me. 2 Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising; Thou understandest my thought afar off. 3 Thou searchest out my path and my lying down, And art acquainted with all my ways. 4 For there is not a word in my tongue, But, lo, O Jehovah, thou knowest it altogether.  When I was driving home from work Sunday evening, Father again spoke very clearly to me as I was thinking on this Word above. He said, "Your time is My time! Don't waste My time. Seek Me on how I would have you spend it.”  This really convicted me, because I do waste time at some point each day. I didn't realize that He considered my time His time and that it was precious to Him. I figured, "Well, I'm nobody, so how I spend free time isn't all that important.” Looks like I was presumptuous on that one!   I asked Him for a verse concerning my time being His time and received, Acts 1:14 These all with one accord continued stedfastly in prayer, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.  Hope this helps any who are also struggling in these areas.      Scripture Test of Discipleship David Eells     Rom 8:13 for if ye live after the flesh, ye must die; but if by the Spirit ye put to death the deeds of the body, ye shall live.  Mat 10:34 Think not that I came to send peace on the earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. 35 For I came to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law: 36 and a man's foes shall be they of his own household.     37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38 And he that doth not take his cross and follow after me, is not worthy of me. 39 He that findeth his life shall lose it; and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.   Joh 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a grain of wheat fall into the earth and die, it abideth by itself alone; but if it die, it beareth much fruit. 25 He that loveth his life loseth it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. 26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will the Father honor.    1Co 9:23 And I do all things for the gospel's sake, that I may be a joint partaker thereof. 24 Know ye not that they that run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? Even so run; that ye may attain. 25 And every man that striveth in the games exerciseth self-control in all things. Now they do it to receive a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. 26 I therefore so run, as not uncertainly; so fight I, as not beating the air: 27 but I buffet my body, and bring it into bondage: lest by any means, after that I have preached to others, I myself should be rejected.   Luk 13:6 And he spake this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came seeking fruit thereon, and found none. 7 And he said unto the vinedresser, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why doth it also cumber the ground? 8 And he answering saith unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: 9 and if it bear fruit thenceforth, well; but if not, thou shalt cut it down.    Jas 1:2 Count it all joy, my brethren, when ye fall into manifold temptations; 3 knowing that the proving of your faith worketh patience. 4 And let patience have its perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, lacking in nothing. 5 But if any of you lacketh wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all liberally and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, nothing doubting: for he that doubteth is like the surge of the sea driven by the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord; 8 a doubleminded man, unstable in all his ways.    2Pe 2:2 And many shall follow their lascivious doings; by reason of whom the way of the truth shall be evil spoken of. 3 And in covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose sentence now from of old lingereth not, and their destruction slumbereth not. 4 For if God spared not angels when they sinned, but cast them down to hell, and committed them to pits of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;    5 and spared not the ancient world, but preserved Noah with seven others, a preacher of righteousness, when he brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly; 6 and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, having made them an example unto those that should live ungodly; 7 and delivered righteous Lot, sore distressed by the lascivious life of the wicked 8 (for that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their lawless deeds):   9 the Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptation, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment unto the day of judgment; 10 but chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of defilement, and despise dominion. Daring, self-willed, they tremble not to rail at dignities:  Jas 5:9 Murmur not, brethren, one against another, that ye be not judged: behold, the judge standeth before the doors. 10 Take, brethren, for an example of suffering and of patience, the prophets who spake in the name of the Lord. 11 Behold, we call them blessed that endured: ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord, how that the Lord is full of pity, and merciful.  Rom 8:17 and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified with him. 29 because to you it hath been granted in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer in his behalf:   2 Th 1:4 so that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions which ye endure; 5 which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God; to the end that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:    1Pe 2:20 For what glory is it, if, when ye sin, and are buffeted for it, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye shall take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.  1Pe 3:14 But even if ye should suffer for righteousness' sake, blessed are ye: and fear not their fear, neither be troubled;  1Pe 4:19 Wherefore let them also that suffer according to the will of God commit their souls in well-doing unto a faithful Creator.  Rev 2:10 Fear not the things which thou art about to suffer: behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days. Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee the crown of life.

Instead she discovers what might just be the Candyman's lair, an abandoned apartment laid out strangely like her own.  Soon enough, she's standing face to face with the man himself.  And he hasn't brought a bag of Skittles.  This guy's got a hook for a hand, bees on his knees, and a desire to possess Helen, who may or may not resemble the woman he once loved.  After her encounter with the Man, Helen awakes to find herself on the floor of an bathroom covered in blood, her crazy nightmare just beginning. Trials of Faith Prepare Us For Battle (5)  (audio)  David Eells - 11/22/23  Personalize Your Relationship  Anonymous 3/1/23 (David's notes in red)   With a direct relationship in Christ Jesus to our Father, there is no middleman to corrupt and steal anything. He has and His Will be done through us. (I felt that the enemy tries to get in between us and God, and steal what God has for us and what we can do for Him.)  Put Me first and I will put you first forever! (I felt we need to seek Him to do our best, to give Him everything since it all belongs to Him.) (Joh 17:10 and all things that are mine are thine, and thine are mine: and I am glorified in them.)  Concentrate. I can reveal and guide you in all things. Trust in Me. I have every good gift for you. (I was reminded that the Lord can bring to our memory what I thought I had forgotten. And I also felt that when we make a mistake to never look back but to focus on the finished product.) (Psa 119:27 Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: So shall I meditate on thy wondrous works.  Joh 14:26 …he shall teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said unto you.  Joh 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he shall guide you into all the truth:…)  Keep trying on task. (Attempt and don't worry about how, it's about why. We willingly do so as He puts it all in us.) Keep trying with desire. (Seeking Him and His Will will be done.) (Mat 6:33 But seek ye first his kingdom, and his righteousness;…  Pro 2: 4-5 If thou seek her [Wisdom] as silver, And search for her as for hid treasures: 5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of Jehovah, And find the knowledge of God.)  Keep trying as Christ in us would so we would be refined for the Kingdom.) (Col 3:17 And whatsoever ye do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.)  There is much to learn and do, just concentrate on the moment. Be at peace and do not get too far ahead of the current day. (Mat 6:34 Be not therefore anxious for the morrow: for the morrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Jas 4:14-15 whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. What is your life? For ye are a vapor that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. 15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall both live, and do this or that.)  Lay down the blocks and build for the glory of the Kingdom. We are to give our all to the Lord to build His Kingdom.) (Psa 145:12 To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, And the glory of the majesty of his kingdom.  1Th 5:11 Wherefore exhort one another, and build each other up, even as also ye do.)  (We can give nothing for God without offering our old life as a burnt offering on the altar of the fiery trial. We cannot offer to him a blemished sacrifice of a life. Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service.  1Pe 2:5 …to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.)  Am I important to you? Then say so! (Let us confess God to man and Glorify Him to man.) (Mat 10:32 Every one therefore who shall confess me before men, him will I also confess before my Father who is in heaven.) Be patient and faithful. (which are fruits of the Spirit.) (Heb 6:12…but imitators of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.)  Lambs among wolves...But I went before you and made it possible for you to conquered in all trials! (He suffered before us and enables us to have a relationship with our Father.) (Luk 10:3 Go your ways; behold, I send you forth as lambs in the midst of wolves.) Nothing you are experiencing is harder than what My Son suffered and showed His Love for you. See and know by faith how close I am to you. Cherish it!  Question yourself, Is what you are doing out of love? Not how others can love you and benefit you, but what are you from their point of view? Would I approve of what you are doing to them? (1Co 16:14 Let all that ye do be done in love.   Gal 6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.)  Why do you want to do it?  In love for me? Or for self or because of fear? Or is it because I Am and love conquers all? (Php 2:3-4 doing nothing through faction or through vainglory, but in lowliness of mind each counting other better than himself; 4 not looking each of you to his own things, but each of you also to the things of others.  1Jn 4:16 And we know and have believed the love which God hath in us. God is love; and he that abideth in love abideth in God, and God abideth in him.)  Many have come before Me and failed. (I felt there have been many who thought they were righteous and deserved to be accepted into heaven, but were denied for their self-works that were not for his Glory.) (Eph 2:8-9 for by grace have ye been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 not of works, that no man should glory.)  Rest in the promises and know why I need you. (He paid the ultimate price for us and has heavily invested into us to meet the need for those whom He has chosen.) Even a tiny light can overcome, overwhelm and destroy the pitch-black darkness! (I was reminded of a watch I wore when I was a child that I pressed a button and it was bright enough to see in the dark at night.) (Joh 1:5 And the light shineth in the darkness; and the darkness apprehended it not.)  Speak and be the image of My light and My Word as My Son has given you example. Be strong to never let anything change the Christ in you. (We are conquerors by His faith!) You have two ears. You can't shut your ears but you can shut your mouth! (Two ears and one mouth show that we should be quick to hear and slow to speak.) (I felt very convicted on what and when I should speak anything, or if I should say anything at all.) (Psa 141:3 Set a watch, O Jehovah, before my mouth; Keep the door of my lips.)  Be strong. Nothing can separate you from Me! Do not let the darkness be able to cover the light! (Mat 5:14  Ye are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hid. 15  Neither do men light a lamp, and put it under the bushel, but on the stand; and it shineth unto all that are in the house.) You are dear and nearer to Me than even the breath you have inside you. (Rom 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?...)  Reach up! Grab hold of me! Do you not see I await you, and that for an infinite eternal love relationship forever? Come, let us sup together!  (Eph 3:16-19 that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that ye may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man; 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be strong to apprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ which passeth knowledge, that ye may be filled unto all the fulness of God.)      LED  Anonymous 1/8/23  I saw myself as an LED on a giant electronics board. There were billions of chips, transistors, diodes all sorts all linked in intricate ways and many other LEDs too. Then I saw the LED as myself, light up as a small flicker. Then it was more consistent and brighter. I felt that the power flowing through me was able to make the LED light shine, when aligned correctly to the way of the Lord, the great Designer.   Soon the LED grew so bright that nothing else of the bulb could be seen other than this intense light. Then the Lord placed His Hand on it and the LED was able to spread to other areas on the electronics board as the other LEDs were lighting up and getting brighter. NENT Joh 8:12  Again therefore Jesus spake to them, saying, I am the light of the world: who followeth me shall in no wise walk in the darkness, but shall have the light of life.   Mat 5:14  YE are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hid. Mat 5:16  Thus let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in the heavens. Eph 5:8  for ye were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord: walk as children of light .      Video Game Revelation  Anonymous 2022 (David's notes in red)  I know this revelation may seem strange, but I used to play video games and one particular video game came to me through a vision. (I used to play before I was saved, but since I have repented and have nothing to do with them ever again.)  God is like the video game designer and He is also the one playing the game. He has control over all things in the game. (God only is sovereign and in control of ALL our trials that have been specifically and personally designed for each of us, and He alone is sovereign over the devil and our enemies.)  I saw a video game that was a top-down view over a vast area of control. I saw how there were many things being done as though looking on the face of the Earth and all the people and what the Lord created. As I was watching, I saw many developments and changes occur.  The perspective then zoomed in on one particular person who was the size of an ant. The person was in a frantic state, shaking their arms about and yelling up at the sky as though to ‘the Man in charge' of the view from above. (We should not be fearful or doubtful during trials, agreeing with what we feel and see but instead only believing and speaking God's word, and casting down everything contrary to the Word. We should ask God to give us grace to have faith during a trial.)  2Co 5:7 (for we walk by faith, not by sight); 2Co 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. The people were crying and asking for help with words in bubbles of all the things they could not do. Then just as quick as they cried out and were answered, they ran off and did more of their own things. Job 35:9 By reason of the multitude of oppressions they cry out;…  I felt this had to do with the Christians who call out to God for help, and once that thing is fixed, they quickly forget the Lord and runs off to please their flesh. (Psa 106:13 They soon forgat his works; They waited not for his counsel, 14 But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, And tempted God in the desert.) 1Pe 5:7 casting all your anxiety upon him, because he careth for you. Heb 4:13 And there is no creature not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him with whom we have to do.      Choose The Wild West Wilderness   Samuel Fire 4/17/23 (David's notes in red)  I saw a vision of a pros and cons list. First on the right was written ‘Christ' and on the left was ‘antichrist'. Written underneath the Christ column was ‘Christ is Life', and on the opposite column were the words, ‘death', and ‘fake life that has an end.'  Christ  antichrist  Christ is Life  ‘death', ‘fake life that has an end'    I then saw myself standing inside an old western-style saloon bar and I ran outside onto the dirt street into the hot sun, and I knew that, “This is life!” (Joh 10:10 …I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.) The bar doors were still flapping, and I didn't even want to look or go back into that saloon bar. (Through the trials we are given a choice to choose life or death, the spirit or flesh, Jesus or the devil.) (I.e., Leave the beast kingdom of delusion of spirits and enter the “wild west” wilderness with Christ to find real, eternal life. Jos 24:14-15 Now therefore fear Jehovah, and serve him in sincerity and in truth; and put away the gods which your fathers served beyond the River, and in Egypt; and serve ye Jehovah. 15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve Jehovah, choose you this day whom ye will serve;…)  (Col 1:9-14 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray and make request for you, that ye may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 to walk worthily of the Lord unto all pleasing, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, unto all patience and longsuffering with joy; 12 giving thanks unto the Father, who made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light; 13 who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of his love; 14 in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins   And Col 1:21-23  And you, being in time past alienated and enemies in your mind in your evil works, 22 yet now hath he reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and without blemish and unreproveable before him: 23 if so be that ye continue in the faith, grounded and stedfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel which ye heard, which was preached in all creation under heaven; whereof I Paul was made a minister.)      Power In The Word   Samuel Fire 4/28/23 (David's notes in red) I saw (in a vision) how fire too close will melt the fake, plasticky flesh; the carnality of vanity. (Submitting to God's Word in trials and tribulations cause the old man to die and for the spirit of Christ to shine through us even brighter.) (Psa 119:28 My soul melteth for heaviness: Strengthen thou me according unto thy word.)  Then as the length of exposure increases, the flesh will then catch fire and burn, and then (the fire will) spread to whatever is involved, like to witchcraft evil and those in the apostate corporate body. (Isa 33:14-15 The sinners in Zion are afraid; trembling hath seized the godless ones: Who among us can dwell with the devouring fire? who among us can dwell with everlasting burnings? 15 He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from taking a bribe, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from looking upon evil:)  Judges 15:4-5 And Samson went and caught three hundred foxes, and took firebrands, and turned tail to tail, and put a firebrand in the midst between every two tails. 5 And when he had set the brands on fire, he let them go into the standing grain of the Philistines and burnt up both the shocks and the standing grain, and also the oliveyards.  (The strong man, Jesus, burned up the fruit of the old man to conquer our Promised Land.) Then I saw a soldier wielding a buckler to defend at the perfect time, without any indication of an attack. When a threat is exposed to the elders, there is then the full arsenal to be set to defend the whole body; much like a commander of an army organizing the troops (A buckler is smaller for personal close contact fighting. A shield is for a much larger attack to remain in position.) Psa 35:2 Take hold of shield and buckler, And stand up for my help. (His Word is a defence we must utilize to defend and fight for His Kingdom in unison as one Body in Christ.) Psa 91:4 He will cover thee with his pinions, And under his wings shalt thou take refuge: His truth is a shield and a buckler. (These are These are wisdom of the Word to defend against the wiles of the enemies.)      Replace The Dross    Anonymous 4/29/23 (David's notes in red)      I heard in prayer:    “Pause. Think about Me and what you are doing. Nothing in this world is perfect yet and there is brokenness everywhere. Bits and pieces fall off things all the time. (Psa 147:3  He healeth the broken in heart, And bindeth up their wounds.)  When filled with My Love and Holy Spirit and led by Christ, there can then be growth into the eternal prize I desire.    Wrestle and pin down the enemy. Raise the flag of victory. (The Lord has given us victories over our enemies on many fronts here and overseas. Isa 59:18  According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, wrath to his adversaries, recompense to his enemies…) The enemy has been surmising the largest possible attack to stop My Children from reaching their potential. Keep focused and look unto Me and My Promise. Remember I need you and you are indeed important to Me. How do you get rid of dirty hands? Wash them.”    (Then I saw us actually applying the Blood of Jesus by faith and washing all areas and replacing everything and thought it was with His presence and victory.)      Defeating The Dragon With Jesus Help  Marie Kelton 10/27/23 (David's notes in red) During the worship part of the meeting, the enemy was attacking my mind but I was telling him to leave me alone. I then had an open vision of me putting on a white medieval helmet that covered my nose (helmet of salvation.) I was in a cave, there was this big black dragon. I had a sword in my hand, and I knew I was supposed to kill the dragon. The dragon tried to attack by breathing fire at me, but I was able to avoid it by stepping behind a wall (representing sanctification) that was in the cave. I then stood back in front of the dragon. I was wondering how I was going to defeat it. Then I saw Jesus come behind me, and step inside my body. Then, I was able to swing the sword and cut the neck and the head of the dragon off its body. (Jesus is the Word Who lives in us. When we speak the Word, His power defeats the enemy. Php 4:13 I can do all things in him that strengtheneth me. We are in the process of casting down the Dragon of Rev 12 as the angels fight for us and we confess the blood. Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:  Heb 4:12 For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword,…  Act 17:28 for in him we live, and move, and have our being)      The Fiery Trials  Milt Green    Peter said, "Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: but rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when His glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. Wherefore, let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to Him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator (1 Pet. 4:12, 13, 19).   The fiery trials today are the efforts of the world, the flesh, and the devil to turn our hearts away from God. Every man will either come through the fire and be like precious gold (with a divine nature), or else he will be a vessel of wood, hay, and stubble, which is burned up. When the pressures and trials come, if we strike back at others, we break God's law and give the fiery serpents ground to build strongholds and destroy us.   If anyone has a foundation built upon carnal doctrines, they have a false security. The fire will destroy all of those who walk after a form of godliness because they walk in disobedience. Anyone who stands on their carnal doctrines as a foundation is not standing on the Word of God. Their foundation is sand. They themselves are wood, hay and stubble, and in the fiery tests the fire will consume them because they have no hedge of protection from God. No other foundation except the Lord Jesus Christ can survive this fire: "But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built a house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great" (Luke 6:49).   Everyone who follows after a doctrine that does not conform them to godliness is destroyed. When you have a false security, you do not act on the Word of God.  Paul wrote, "Now if any man build upon this foundation, gold, silver, precious stone, wood, hay, stubble; every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire (powers of darkness) shall try every man's work of what sort it is. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ" (1 Cor. 3:12, 13, 11).  That is why we need the true apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers: "For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ (until Christ's love is perfected in us). That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine" (Eph. 4:12-14).   God has been testing the hearts of men since the day He put Adam in the garden. He offered Adam the tree of life or the tree of death. God still tests the hearts of all creation. Only the ones who love the Lord with all their hearts and put their faith and trust in Him will survive the fiery tests of this world. All others will break God's laws and be under the punishment and judgment of the law, because their hearts love idols more than God. "The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished: but chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise government" (2 Pet. 2:9, 10).   We either resist the flesh and the temptations of Satan, or else we walk after the desires of the flesh in unrighteousness, in which case we stay under the judgment and punishment of God's law.   Jesus said, "I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. Be watchful (wake up!), and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect (because you are not being perfected in love) before God. Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard (remember the Gospel!), and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief (in judgment), and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. He that overcometh (the world, the flesh and temptations of Satan) shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life" (Rev. 3:1-3, 5).   Jesus is coming first like a thief in destruction. Jesus did not come the way the religious leaders expected him the first time. Neither will Jesus come the way the religious leaders expect Him this time. "Hear, ye deaf; and look, ye blind, that ye may see. Who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the Lord's servant? The Lord is well pleased for His righteousness' sake; He will magnify the law, and make it honorable. But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses (of the powers of darkness): they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore. Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? Did not the Lord, He against whom we have sinned? For they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient to his law. Therefore He hath poured upon him the fury of His anger and the strength of battle: and it hath set him on fire around about, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he laid it not to heart" (Isa. 42:18, 19, 21-25).   The sleeping church is being destroyed today and they don't even know it. They will scoff at warnings such as this. The fires of destruction are already being poured out among us. The Scriptures are not enough to lead most of these people out of darkness. That is the reason that only a remnant can hear. The others will not wake up-for them it is business as usual.   God warns us in His Word: "Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot: they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; but the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed. Whoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it…    This is how Jesus comes as a thief upon the spiritually dead congregation that will not wake up and repent in these last days. The hedge is lowered, and He no longer restrains the hordes of the powers of darkness which have been unleashed against the spiritually dead, fallen away church. If you read these Scriptures through the eyes of a carnal doctrine, you will be led to believe that the men who are taken from the bed or out of the field are raptured, rather than destroyed by the fire. This is how the deception and darkness have come upon us today. This is why people are being burned and they pay no attention. This is the fallen away church today which practices sin (lawlessness).     The remnant will love the Lord Jesus Christ with all their hearts. They will be perfected in love and holiness. No one will be able to counterfeit the love that is perfected in the remnant. You will know them by their fruits. The stumbling blocks will also be evident and they will be destroyed. "Another parable put He forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field. But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also (tares are evident because they bear the fruit of the flesh)" (Mat. 13:24-26).     "Now the works of the flesh are manifest" (Gal 5:19). When we practice the deeds of the flesh, we bear the wrong fruit and break God's law. This is how men who teach doctrines that do not conform you to godliness lead you to walk under the judgment and curse of the law. This is how the church is being destroyed in the fire today. They have no fear of God as they teach a form of godliness and become stumbling blocks to others. The blind follow the blind and never bear the fruit of love. In fact, they cannot because they are tares. "As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. The son of man shall send forth His angels, and they shall gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity (by practicing sin)" (Mat. 13:40, 41).     "So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, and shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth (hate, anger, bitterness, sickness, pain, etc.) Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear" (Matt. 13:49, 50, 43).     There are hundreds of different denominations and teachings in this country today and each one has its own form of righteousness. But there is only one true righteousness and that is walking right in God's eyes. When we establish our own righteousness, we do not submit to the righteousness of God. Israel departed from the law and righteousness of God to establish their own righteousness.     Paul said of them, "my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God" (Rom. 10:1-3).     When the wicked thinks he is righteous in his own eyes, there is no fear of God. He is blinded to the judgment of God because he has a false security. This is how millions are blinded to the judgment of the law today.     "Hearken unto Me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is My law: fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings. For the moth (the powers of darkness) shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but My righteousness shall be forever" (Isa. 5 1:7, 8). The righteousness of God stands forever because only the righteous will survive. God has set up laws to destroy those who are wise in their own eyes, and will not submit to the righteousness of God.     Jesus said, "I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth (remains, continues) in Me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit (of love): ... If a man abide not in Me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them and cast them into the fire, and they are burned" (John 15:5,6). "Herein is My Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit (of love); so shall ye be My disciples (God's kind of agape love is the proof of discipleship)" (John 15:8).     Jesus sets us free from being slaves of sin (lawlessness) to become slaves of righteousness (a pure heart): "For as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness (a pure heart)" (Rom. 6:19).     Paul said, "What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life" (Rom. 6:2 1, 22).     Through obedience we have a pure heart and we are perfected in love to the fullness of the measure of the stature which belongs to Christ. When the Word of God and the Holy Spirit have removed the selfish nature of Satan, we no longer live for ourselves. Therefore we have the nature of God and love others as Jesus loved us. We have laid down our lives so we can walk in God's kind of love. "Charity (God's kind of love) suffereth long, and is kind; (God's kind of love) envieth not; (God's kind of love) vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own (way), is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity (God's kind of agape love) never faileth.   Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity (this God-kind of Love), I am nothing.   And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing" (1 Cor. 13:4, 5, 7, 8, 1-3). The God-kind of love is the only love which can love your neighbor as yourself: "For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself' (Gal. 5:14). The ones who come through the fire will have this God-kind of love, which is the divine nature of God.

Over 44 years as a pediatrician, I have developed a keen awareness of parenting skills, raising our children to be good citizens, how to improve our communities, and advocating for children.  My books, MY CHILDREN'S CHILDREN: RAISING YOUNG CITIZENS IN THE AGE OF COLUMBINE,  ALL ABOUT CHILDREN (illustrated children's book),  THINKING DEVELOPMENTALLY: NURTURING WELLNESS IN CHILDHOOD TO PROMOTE LIFELONG HEALTH, and  CONSCIOUS PARENTING: USING THE PARENTAL AWARENESS THRESHOLD, provide an array of fertile material for a variety of discussions about parenting and the like.  Pediatrician and medical geneticist, Robert A Saul, MD, has been guiding parents and their children's physical, behavioral, and mental care for over 40 years. He is Professor of Pediatrics (Emeritus). Dr. Bob Saul developed the Parental Awareness Threshold, a simple framework that guides parents and guardians to actively parent with self-awareness, empathy, and compassion. Parents who use this framework create a healthy environment where children learn to build safe, stable, and nurturing relationships as well as exhibit love and respect for others in their community. I have authored several parenting books and desire to spread the messages of parenting as an exercise in raising good citizens, conscious parenting and community improvement.  FIND HIM HERE:  https://www.mychildrenschildren.com  https://www.mychildrenschildren.com/interview-me/  Facebook – http://www.facebook.com/mychildrenschildren http://www.facebook.com/allaboutchildren2017 http://www.facebook.com/consciousparentingPAT  Twitter – www.twitter.com/@saul1robert  LinkedIn – www.linkedin.com/in/robertasaul  Instagram – www.instagram.com/rsaul  YouTube – www.youtube.com/robertsaulmd --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/becoming-parents/message

Visiting with me today is Julianne Bosch, expat, author, and life strategist. In this episode, we'll visit about how Julianne's life travelling with her family has helped her to find a lot of wisdom which she has shared in her book. How A Mother Took Her First Step On The Moon - A Mother's Keepsake Journal of Advice to My Children began as a 50th birthday quest. Mothers leave a mark. So I chose to give a gift to my children instead of receiving gifts by writing a collection of uplifting true stories and an empowering workbook for parents.  I hope you will take the time to write your intentions for parenting.  It is a powerful tool and my book was written to guide other mothers with their own journey.  When chaos hits in a household having a solid foundation of basics makes the storm manageable. My name is Julianne Bosch, I am a mother to three children. I was an expat wife and I am starting to forget to count the “where's” but my closets are organized and the life lessons abroad have been learned and cherished.  I became a Professional Career & Life Coach, I call a Life Strategist practicing with clients virtually via zoom. Where my husband goes–I go. So I get the best of both worlds: I have a job that is extremely fulfilling helping others and I get to travel with my partner of 27+ years.Connect with Julianne on her website:https://www.juliannebosch.com/Support the showConnect with Magic:A Magical Life Podcast on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/amagicallifepodcast/On Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/wholisticnaturalhealth/Online: https://wholisticnaturalhealth.com.auA Subito Media production

This month, the Illinois Supreme Court heard oral arguments in a case examining the Safe-T Act. The legislation would bring sweeping reform to the state's criminal justice system, but one policy in particular has caught the eye and the ire of prosecutors: the elimination of cash bail. Proponents say ending cash bail bonds will get rid of inequities that favor the rich; opponents say it will lead to a rise in crime.
