Arlana Miller aka lanaawanaa on IG, was a Southern University student whose suicide brought up the conversation on social media how people should “check on their friends” and “check on their strong friends” and we discussed how that isn't the solution to those who truly suffer from mental illnesses because you can't talk a chemical imbalance out of someone. We further discuss the toxicity of religion where some feel they can pray mental and physical illnesses out of someone instead of trusting the science._________________________________________________________OUR SOCIAL MEDIA:PODCAST YOUTUBE CHANNEL:https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCUA7mQPLZ2tf5yBzCQZvsCwMAL'S personal YouTube Channel: https://youtube.com/c/TheLifeofMalMAL'S IG, Twitter & TikTok: @malwavesbackup twitter: @malwaves2ALEX'S personal YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqFmKxPqWpUbxor_sYQRQgQ ALEX'S IG & TikTok: @alexgthearchitectInstrumental/beats by him! We then talked about how this generation of women may regret making decisions like that as well as regretting things that they post on the internet. This came from a video that Jayda Cheaves posted where she talks about her son seeing her twerking on Tik Tok. We then discussed Druski's skit that he did about guys that pressure girls to drink and the outrage that came with it causing Druski to delete the skit. In regards to Druski and Chris Rock we answer the question, is comedy dead? We then discussed the rumor that ASAP Rocky cheated on Rihanna with shoe designer Amina Muaddi and how the rumor started by a random on Twitter spread like wildfire which proved how people will believe anything they see on the internet, especially negative and we criticized those that fell for it. We wrapped up the pod by talking about the leaked Drake verse on an upcoming song with Jack Harlow that appears to have disses directed towards Pusha T. We reacted to the verse and give our thoughts on their beef and if we think Pusha T will respond. Lastly we talk about a TikTok posted on Twitter of a black woman therapist talking about how she lacks empathy for black men when she works with couples and how we feel about what she said and about her posting grievances about her job online. With this tweet being posted there was a gender war in the thread of black men vs. black women, so we discuss how that needs to stop and how women need to figure out what they really want because it seems like they want men to carry the burden of everything and some women want traditional men but don't want to be traditional women._________________________________________________________PODCAST YOUTUBE CHANNEL:https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCUA7mQPLZ2tf5yBzCQZvsCwOUR SOCIAL MEDIA:MAL'S personal YouTube Channel: https://youtube.com/c/TheLifeofMalMAL'S IG, Twitter & TikTok: @malwavesbackup twitter: @malwaves2ALEX'S personal YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqFmKxPqWpUbxor_sYQRQgQ ALEX'S IG & TikTok: @alexgthearchitectInstrumental/beats by him! We discuss the impact that this may have on Will Smiths career. This conversation tied back to our original Grammys conversation about how award shows are given too much importance in society. This led to a conversation about major musicians such as Kanye West and Travis Scott not needing festivals such as Coachella since they are successful enough to have their own festivals. This is due to these organizations such as the Oscar's being so quick to drop people over any signs of negative press. We then discussed Jay-Z's verse on Neck and Wrist which is the new single off Pusha T's upcoming album. We then talked about how Tom Brady unretired after a man purchased the football used in what he thought was his final touchdown pass for $500,000. Wrapping up with sports, we got into the controversial topic of the NCAA Women's Swimming finals and transgender woman Lia Thomas taking 1st in the 500. We discussed how we feel about transgenders being involved in sports of their identified gender. We then brought up Jussie Smollett being released from jail after being sentenced to about 5 months in jail for filing a false police report, lying about a hate crime that he planned. We tried to get to the root of why he lied and why he is still going hard for his lie. Speaking of lying, we transitioned into Megan Thee Stallion and trying to figure out if her being unfollowed by Rihanna and Drake on Instagram has to do with the case she has against Tory Lanez, and if new information surfaced behind the scenes. We speculated on other reasons for her being unfollowed and her past of being unfollowed by other celebrities and also why she no longer is an ambassador for Savage x Fenty. The next topic we discussed was how Gunna and Young Thug had pretty much the same exact Gucci outfits that Rickey Thompson and Denzel Dion had on their Feb. 2022 Pause magazine. We tried to figure out if it was a coincidence like Gunna and Young Thug's stylist claim it was or if it was blatant copying. Then we talked about how girls are brainwashed today by BBL's that they think every girl with a nice body has a bbl. This was rooted from Rubi Rose having to fight allegations that she had a BBL because women find it so hard to believe that some girls are just born with genes that have them shaped that way naturally. We tried to get to the root of this brainwashing. Briefly we talked about how social media is becoming wack and not fun anymore because of how most people in the world are miserable, then we wrapped up the pod talking about Jayda Cheaves (Jayda Wayda) and Lil Baby. Jayda went online saying she was done with Lil Baby for sure this time so we speculated if she is really done and how we feel about relationships like them especially in the entertainment world. We also discussed their little back and forth they had on social media and how we feel about couples bringing their problems to the internet. We talked about peoples reaction to Kanye's depiction of Pete Davidson in the music video and how we feel about Kanye and Kim finally moving along with their divorce with them both now being legally single. With Kanye we talked about his stem player and then moved to a discussion on the music industry and how so many artists are extremely underpaid and don't seem to care. We talk about how artists should follow Kanye's lead and think about creating their own steaming services where they'll actually make the money they deserve. We talked about how much the music industry has changed with what is now counted as album sales in this digital age. We wrapped up the pod with a therapy session for Mal where she vents about how people and situations can really change who you are and how you act, specifically how you can become a mean person because of what you been through. We discuss how dealing with haters and bad/fake friends can change you and how we all should let go of our pasts and not focus on success just in terms of revenge. ____________________________________OUR SOCIAL MEDIA:Podcast YouTube Channel: https://youtube.com/channel/UCUA7mQPLZ2tf5yBzCQZvsCwMAL'S personal YouTube Channel: https://youtube.com/c/TheLifeofMalMAL'S IG & Twitter: @malwavesbackup twitter: @malwaves2MAL'S TikTok: @malwaves ALEX'S personal YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqFmKxPqWpUbxor_sYQRQgQ ALEX'S IG: @alexgthearchitectALEX'S Twitter: @agthearchitectALEX'S TikTok: @alexgthearchitechtInstrumental/beats by him! In this episode we discuss the negativity of The Shade Room and other gossip pages like it. We discuss whether its The Shade Room that is responsible for the perpetuation of Black stereotypes, or if the responsibility falls on the black community. We also discuss the issue of having immigrants that are not foundationally Black Americans being the people that run pages that perpetuate negative Black American stereotypes. We also discuss the different reception that is received from White gossip outlets in comparison to Black gossip outlets. We then discussed the issue of people on the internet glorifying celebrity relationships. This conversation was derived from the reaction that socially media always provides when a celebrity spends a significant amount of money on luxury items, flowers, cars, etc. for their significant other. This is typically what happens during holidays such as Valentine's day which just recently passed. We debate whether those acts are truly out of love, or if it is just rich behavior. We discuss celebrities like Cardi B and Offset, Lil Baby and Jayda Cheaves, and Moneybagg Yo and Ari Fletcher.Leading into our conversation about the Teflar Bag price increase, we discussed the issue of social acceptance. We talked about everyone's lack of individuality and need to be accepted. We talk about how people only grasp onto certain styles, trends, and slang when they see that it is socially acceptable to do so. We critically analyze everyone's need to feel cool and how they don't feel that being themselves is cool.We then discussed the recent backlash that Telfar Clemens has received for introducing a new Telfar bag that is $600. For context, this is a drastic price increase from Telfar's previous offerings. We debate whether Telfar is taking advantage of the Black community with the price increase. This conversation led into a discussion of whether Black people are overly-critical of ourselves, while we simultaneously accept the same behaviors from other racial groups. We also discuss why Telfar should not be compared to luxury brands such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Prada. We finished up our discussion by talking about Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, and Pete Davidson as always. We debate whether Kanye airing out family issues on Instagram is comparable to the Kardashians doing the same thing on their Kardashian reality tv shows. We discuss the hypocrisy of Kim not wanting text messages to be exposed since she did not sign of on them, but simultaneously publicly bashed Jordan Woods who did not sign off on that either. We also discuss how no one necessarily signed off on having their personal problems exploited on the show, but it is deemed as fine and entertaining.

We also discussed how quickly Do We Have A Problem? has become on TikTok and YouTube. We then discussed the recent release of Fivio Foreign's new song "City of Gods" (feat. Kanye West & Alicia Keys). We discussed Fivio Foreign's new stardom with securing an Alicia Keys feature. We also did a lyric breakdown of Kanye West's verse. We finished our music conversation with talking about the unfortunate iCloud leaks that impacted Isaiah Rashad. We discussed potential impacts to his rap career as well as advice for navigating safely securing your photos and videos. We did a complete 180 and then discussed the insecurities of men on the internet. This conversation was spawned from seeing men's comments under women's Instagram posts and how they are primarily negative. We discussed whether this is due to insecurity, jealousy, or a feeling of insignificance. We then discussed whether you should leave your kids any inheritance or if you should spend it all before you die. This conversation was derived from the concept of generational wealth in black communities. We finished the pod by discussing the recent racist remarks with Joe Rogan's use of the "N-Word". We talked about the reaction from the public and Spotify removing Joe's episodes. We also discuss the possibility of a smear campaign.

We also discussed her discography to determine if she has any classic albums. We then discussed the recent announcement of Rihanna and A$AP Rocky's pregnancy. We discussed if there should have been higher expectations for the photoshoot reveal, or if captured the essence of their relationship and style. We discussed the backlash that A$AP Rocky received from being the man to impregnate Rihanna. There were discussions on Twitter stating that Rocky is colorist, has less money, and is not a good fit for Rihanna. This spurred a discussion about A$AP Rocky's political and social commentary in the past that has led to backlash such as his comments on Black Lives Matter. We also discussed the hypocrisy of women stating that they should not date or marry men with less money than themselves. We also discussed how problematic it is that Kim is using North as a form of marketing for skincare products. This eventually led to a discussion about the Kardashians and YouTube families and their exploitation of children for monetary gain.
In this podcast We discussed and answered the question of “why do couples fight? And what do they fight about/over?” We gave examples of the types of things people fight over with their partners throughout different stages of life. We then spent the remainder of this episode talking about sex scenes in shows and movies. We first discussed if shows and movies highlight sex scenes or add a lot of them to their show or movie for purposeful shock value needed to make up for the fact that the show or movie isn't even that good. We discussed if these scenes are used as a crutch to keep people watching. We then took a turn to unpack and talk about how weird it is when you really think about it how many shoes and movies so sex scenes of characters who are playing underage characters. This conversation was inspired by the recent debut of season 2 of Euphoria, a show starring Zendaya that shows what are actors and actresses portraying underage high school having sex and showing them nude. We talk about how these scenes in Euphoria and many other shows and movies could be implied instead of actually showing accurate depictions and recreations. We got to the root of this problem/observation by calling out creeps and pedophiles in the industry that are behind writing and directing these scenes, bringing up people like Dan Schneider who had a clear foot fetish and had many shows with young teenagers and kids that showed a lot of scenes just centered around feet. With Euphoria we discussed how writer and director Sam Levinson could have some sick way of getting off to writing and watching in person these sex scenes of people who are supposed to be high schoolers and we talk about his possible liking of actress Sydney Sweeney who plays Cassie. With her in particular there are many scenes that seem almost excessive of her being nude and how Sam Levinson may exploit the fact he got her permission to shoot nude by now overdoing it and probably getting off to it on set. We did a complete 180° & wrapped up the pod talking about 22GZ recently saying how rappers need to calm it down with the disses in their music. We get into if we agree with him or not and how violence is escalating with the combination of social media dissing, music dissing and flex/clout culture. We also talked about gangs and gang violence and how that ties into rap and the dissing that 22GZ is warning others to stop doing.____________________________________OUR SOCIAL MEDIA:MAL'S personal YouTube Channel: https://youtube.com/c/TheLifeofMalMAL'S IG & Twitter: @malwavesbackup twitter: @malwaves2MAL'S TikTok: @malwaves ALEX'S personal YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqFmKxPqWpUbxor_sYQRQgQ ALEX'S IG: @alexgthearchitectALEX'S Twitter: @agthearchitectALEX'S TikTok: @alexgthearchitechtInstrumental/beats by him! In this podcast we discussed when we feel like people will stop using social media and at what age would you stop using it as much at at all, the issue with flex culture (correction: FAKE flex culture lol) and how its not sustainable because eventually you can tell who really has money because you can't fake things like a house. We talk about this weird obsession people have with making it look like they have money on the internet and some people even falsely claiming they have accountants. We then discussed how black kids lowkey have poor examples of black celebrities with this culture of rapper baby mamas now being "influencers" and "celebrities" because some of these women really have no real skills or talents deserving of the status they have. We discuss how people like LisaRaye and Lebron talked about how people have nothing worth celebrating to give them that "celebrity" status and how they say ignorant things like Ari Fletcher disrespecting domestic violence victims resulting in her losing her Savage X Fenty ambassador deal. On the topic of rapper baby mamas, we wrapped up the podcast discussing how many women want a Lil Baby but they aren't Jaydas, meaning they aren't successful or rich on their own but expect their equally broke partners to spoil them materially in ways that rappers like Lil Baby spoils Jayda. We talk about how there needs to be equity in relationships in some ways, and that doesn't even mean financially because from a man's point of view we talk about how men feel in relationships. Many men feel like they don't get any value out of relationships with bad girlfriends or wives who in turn get benefits from their boyfriend or husband at the minimum financially.___________________________________________________OUR SOCIAL MEDIA:Podcast YouTube Channel: https://youtube.com/channel/UCUA7mQPLZ2tf5yBzCQZvsCwMAL'S personal YouTube Channel: https://youtube.com/c/TheLifeofMalMAL'S IG & Twitter: @malwavesbackup twitter: @malwaves2MAL'S TikTok: @malwaves ALEX'S personal YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqFmKxPqWpUbxor_sYQRQgQ ALEX'S IG: @alexgthearchitectALEX'S Twitter: @agthearchitectALEX'S TikTok: @alexgthearchitechtInstrumental/beats by him! We then talked about parenting and how being a good parent may not be enough, we talked about how some students treat teachers bad and then we talked about how your parents and school shapes your future. While on the topic of parenting, we transitioned to Kanye who we talked about for the remainder of the episode lol. Clips of Jason Lee's upcoming Hollywood Unlocked interview with Kanye has been coming out where Kanye talks about how he moved next door to Kim K and his kids to be close to them. We give our opinion on it and we talked about him not getting an invite to his daughter Chicago's 4th birthday party and had to go on social media expressing his frustrations. We talked about his new song "Eazy" ft. The Game, our opinions on the song, and the criticism Kanye got because of the Pete Davidson line. We wrapped up the podcast discussing the hypocrisy of people calling him weird, bitter, and needing meds because of the line despite the fact those same people subtweet their exes all the time and they enjoy music from people like Summer Walker and Drake whose discography is filled with music about heartbreak, exes, and exes new partners.___________________________________________________OUR SOCIAL MEDIA:MAL'S personal YouTube Channel: https://youtube.com/c/TheLifeofMalMAL'S IG & Twitter: @malwavesbackup twitter: @malwaves2ALEX'S personal YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqFmKxPqWpUbxor_sYQRQgQ ALEX'S IG: @theonlyalexgALEX'S Twitter: @itstheonlyalexgInstrumental/beats by him! We discuss the alleged killer of Young Dolph potentially turning himself in soon and the implications of having snakes in your inner circle. We discuss the change in behavior that occurs amongst family and friends once you have money. We discuss the fact that most people are not passionate about anything and could result in their stagnation. We discuss the constant battle between Black Americans and Africans due to the recent backlash that Ari Lennox received after her trip to Ghana. We discuss the potential pressure that Savage x Fenty is going to place on Victoria's Secret now that 5 physical stores will opening across the country. We briefly discuss the quick backlash and then quick reversal of opinion over Antonio Brown's exit from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. We discuss the psychology of black men not preferring black women and the insults that they say when discussing their preferences. We also discussed why black women stereotypes are viewed negatively but stereotypes from other races are sought after. This conversation stemmed from the backlash stated Fresh and Fit podcast. We also discuss the outrage from low-skill workers due to comments made by NYC Mayor Eric Adams. We talk about what a low-skill worker is and how they are important even though the occupations do not require skill.
In this podcast we briefly discussed Travis Scott being back on Instagram after the Astroworld Festival tragedy. We then discussed Kanye's recent single shenanigans where he is being seen with different actresses and IG "models" after failed attempts to get Kim back, we discussed what things do men actually like in women, and why women go after men with status and the lengths both women and men will go to get attention from those men. That transitioned into us discussing which state we think has the best looking people, how old rich men can leave their wives and get any girl they want while the older wife is seen as "washed" and we talked about Cardi B saying that women should get BBL's before getting their teeth done so they can "trick on" men. We wrapped up the podcast discussing if there is a shift happening among millennials who grew up to experience half a life without social media and another half of life during the social media and technology boom where we are now getting bored of social media and have a desire to go back to older ways of living._________________________________________________________OUR SOCIAL MEDIA:Podcast YouTube Channel: https://youtube.com/channel/UCUA7mQPLZ2tf5yBzCQZvsCwMAL'S personal YouTube Channel: https://youtube.com/c/TheLifeofMalMAL'S IG & Twitter: @malwavesbackup twitter: @malwaves2ALEX'S personal YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqFmKxPqWpUbxor_sYQRQgQ ALEX'S IG: @theonlyalexgALEX'S Twitter: @itstheonlyalexgInstrumental/beats by him! In this podcast we briefly discussed Christmas, why we made the holiday about gift giving, how the holiday feels different as an adult and how your perspective changes when you get older. We then discussed the recent and tragic death of rapper Drakeo The Ruler, why murders seem so prevalent among the rap community only vs other music genres, and how we feel about posthumous music. We then talked about the beef between Jim Jones and Freddie Gibbs and compared it to our experiences with beefs and what is the best way to go about your beef; if you should physically attack, emotionally/mentally attack, financially attack, or play "chess" with your opp. This led to a conversation about adult friendships and how you can be perceived in a negative light just because you are shy, which comes across as arrogance when combined with being successful. We wrapped up the podcast discussing if and when kids should have smart phones and social media accounts. This conversation was sourced from the fact that there have been newly made TikTok accounts by Kanye and Kim's 8 year old daughter North and Kourtney and Scott's 9 year old daughter Penelope. We talk about all the potential dangers of letting your kids have social media too young but also not being strict parents which more times than not backfires and knowing as a parent you can't control everything your kid does._________________________________________________________OUR SOCIAL MEDIA:Podcast YouTube Channel: https://youtube.com/channel/UCUA7mQPLZ2tf5yBzCQZvsCwMAL'S personal YouTube Channel: https://youtube.com/c/TheLifeofMalMAL'S IG & Twitter: @malwavesbackup twitter: @malwaves2ALEX'S personal YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqFmKxPqWpUbxor_sYQRQgQ ALEX'S IG: @theonlyalexgALEX'S Twitter: @itstheonlyalexgInstrumental/beats by him! In this podcast we discussed how rappers all seem to have an image they have to upkeep as apart of rap culture which includes big obnoxious jewelry and big butts. Specifically with jewelry, we talked about how iced out jewelry is the worst thing you can buy and a waste of money that devalues jewelry especially watches. We then discussed Virgil Abloh's funeral and how we feel about footage coming out that people recorded of the private ceremony. At the funeral fans and paparazzi bombarded a grieving Kanye asking for autographs so we also discuss how we felt about that and how people will clout chase and not care about the emotions of celebrities or private circumstances. The situation of Kanye doing autographs further brought us to a discussion about what we would do if we met a celebrity we really admire/love and in what order would we ask for a conversation, pictures and/or autographs. We then talked about if you should enjoy life in the moment or take pictures for memories and how to find common ground. We talked about how our middle school and high school lives were right before we had Instagram and Snapchat stories and how it was to actually enjoy moments without feeling the need to post on a story about our day. Next we discussed Jussie Smollett being found guilty for faking a hate crime, how we knew he was lying from jump, the negative response we got for calling him out on lying from the beginning, and how Jussie Smollett has set the black community back with this and ruined his career. From there we talked about how African Americans culture is the most imitated but least respected. We wrapped up the podcast discussing Kanye and if we feel 2021 is one of his most iconic years with his comeback including the unique Donda rollout, the Donda release, Yeezy x GAP collab, the release of his Stem Player, his amazing Drink Champs interview, his reconciliation and concert with Drake and then his surprise Rolling Loud performance during Future's set. Despite his marriage troubles with Kim Kardashian, his 2021 was full of success and a huge reputation boost. With Kanye we talked about how people changed up on him and "cancelled" him in 2018 and how we feel about those and people now supporting him because they follow whatever is popular. We ended the pod talking about NBA Youngboy wearing makeup, how we feel about it, and the questionable outrage. We also brought up our prior podcast episodes where we discussed man-made gender constructs and how we all should question why we think the way we think._________________________________________________________OUR SOCIAL MEDIA:MAL'S personal YouTube Channel: https://youtube.com/c/TheLifeofMalMAL'S IG & Twitter: @malwavesbackup twitter: @malwaves2ALEX'S personal YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqFmKxPqWpUbxor_sYQRQgQ ALEX'S IG: @theonlyalexgALEX'S Twitter: @itstheonlyalexgInstrumental/beats by him! In this podcast we didn't come with specific topics and winged it lol. We discussed Chris Cuomo being fired from CNN and now allegations of sexual misconduct coming up against him and we talked about if you should always believe alleged sexual assault/misconduct victims. This transitioned into us talking about differences between men and women, man made social constructs/gender norms & the social media debate regarding a boy toddler playing with a kitchen set. We then discussed how when you are well rounded and successful people who are insecure about their life or situation will make you feel uncomfortable and accuse you of thinking you're better than them. We talked about how unfortunate it is when friends and family start to turn on you once you start wanting better for yourself, becoming successful and not dumbing yourself down being the “goofy” and “dumb” friend. We wrapped up the podcast discussing money lol we loveee this topic. We talked about fake flex culture, people renting luxury cars when they can't actually afford them, why we think people try to make it look like they have money on the internet when they don't & peoples bad spending habits that's fueled by social media “pressures”. It got a little spicy lol but it's ✨constructive criticism✨._________________________________________________________OUR SOCIAL MEDIA:MAL'S personal YouTube Channel: https://youtube.com/c/TheLifeofMalMAL'S IG & Twitter: @malwavesbackup twitter: @malwaves2ALEX'S personal YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqFmKxPqWpUbxor_sYQRQgQ ALEX'S IG: @theonlyalexgALEX'S Twitter: @itstheonlyalexgInstrumental/beats by him! We then talked about the AMA's and the performances and The Grammy's coming up and the nominations, notably Kanye's and Doja Cat's. We then talked about Wendy Williams and questions around her condition after rumors went around that she is wheel chair bound and showing signs of early dementia. We discussed Iman Shumpert winning season 30 of Dancing With The Stars, if marshmallows are supposed to go on yams, and how we feel about Summer Walker and her boyfriend Larry getting each others names tattooed on their faces. We further discussed how we feel about getting tattoos with your significant others name and tattoos in general. We briefly talked about Odell Beckham Jr. only accepting Bitcoin as his new salary, Kanye wanting Kim back and his family back together, and Madonna's weird sexual pictures she posted at 60 years old. We wrapped up the podcast discussing whether we think that Jay-Z or Lil Wayne brought more to hip-hop/the world with Jay-Z putting us on to Kanye West and Rihanna and Lil Wayne putting us on to Nicki Minaj and Drake. In closing, we discussed the tragic and unexpected passing of fashion legend, Virgil Abloh. We are huge fans of his, seen him in person in 2017 when he was the DJ for Travis Scott's show, visited his Louis Vuitton pop up shop in 2019, had so many of his Off-White x Nike collab sneakers and his LV sneakers, and been wearing his clothes/shoes since his Pyrex and Been Trill days. We wanted to talk about his impact to the fashion world, especially outside of what he is known famously for, Off-White, and his impact on music being the creative director behind some of Kanye's most famous album covers. We went into the subject deeper about an issue with wannabe cop losers aka the George Zimmerman's, Kyle Rittenhouse's and the McMichael's of the world who over step their citizen duties. As you all should know, George Zimmerman , a neighborhood watch man aka wannabe cop loser, killed Trayvon Martin in 2012 after actual law enforcement told him not to follow him and Travis and Gregory McMichael chased down and killed Ahmaud Arbery thinking they were going to stop someone who they thought was responsible for neighborhood break ins, aka wannabee loser cops lmao. In this podcast we briefly discussed updates with the Travis Scott Astroworld Festival tragedy and how people on social media try to get clout off the deaths of others by making exaggerated posts that spreads misinformation. RIP to the 9th and 10th victims who succumbed to their injuries, Bharti Shahani and Ezra Blount. We then discussed what capitalism is and why it isn't a bad thing, Kevin Samuels linking up with Brittany Renner, and the Kyle Rittenhouse trial and the history of this country with biased jury members due to race. With the Rittenhouse trial, we also talked about him crying on the stand, how the judge has been acting like Rittenhouse's defense attorney, and how the judge's phone went off and his ringtone was "God Bless the USA" by Trump supporter Lee Greenwood who performed at Trump's inauguration and the song was Trump's 2016 and 2020 campaign song. We then talked about Chloe Bailey and her cringe worthy video she dropped thanking her fans while trying to be sexual and if we feel that her abrupt change in her music and her being overly sexual is being pushed by her label and the problem in Hollywood and the music industry with women having to be a certain way to find success. That topic transitioned into a discussion about what sex appeal is and who we feel has it. We wrapped up the podcast discussing Kid Cudi and him wearing a wedding dress to the recent CFDA Fashion Awards, him holding hands with the designer of the dress Eli Russel Linnetz. We talked about man-made gender norms that we as a society follow and being able to challenge traditional thought, referencing the movie The Matrix. We closed by briefly talking about Joe Biden calling black people the N-word.... just kidding LOL but we talked about him referring to baseball player Satchel Paige as "the great negro" and we discuss the use of the outdated term "negro" being used in 2021, especially by our own president. _________________________________________________________OUR SOCIAL MEDIA:Podcast YouTube Channel: https://youtube.com/channel/UCUA7mQPLZ2tf5yBzCQZvsCwMAL'S personal YouTube Channel: https://youtube.com/c/TheLifeofMalMAL'S IG & Twitter: @malwavesbackup twitter: @malwaves2ALEX'S personal YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqFmKxPqWpUbxor_sYQRQgQALEX'S IG: @theonlyalexgALEX'S Twitter: @itstheonlyalexgInstrumental/beats by him! In this podcast we briefly discussed Jeff Bezos new girlfriend seemingly flirting with Leonardo DiCaprio and Jeff Bezos response to Leo on Twitter. We talked about the whole "money doesn't buy happiness" saying and how rich men and women are often used for their money and we feel that its hard when you are a billionaire to find true love unless your partner is also very rich and successful or came up with you before the fame and fortune. Then we focused the rest of the podcast on 2 prominent subjects from the past week: Kanye's Drink Champs interview and the tragic deaths that occurred at Travis Scott's Astroworld Festival. In regards to Kanye's interview, we talked about the big headlines like how he said signing Big Sean was one of his worst decisions he ever made, him calling John Legend a sellout and harsh criticisms to his peers Just Blaze and Talib Kweli. We discussed if he brought up Drake too much in his interview and if he is jealous of his friends, mostly Virgil Abloh. We also talked about how he wants the Black community to start becoming the next Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and Bernard Arnault's of the world and that needs to start with us seeking ownership of things, companies, assets, etc. Lastly, we talked about him comment about how 808s and the effect on the bodies frequency, combined with the dark lyrical content usually paired with 808s can have a negative effect on the Black community as primary consumers of rap music and how old school hip hop and African and Caribbean music is usually paired with drums and percussions that have a more positive effect on listeners. In regards to Travis Scott and his Astroworld Festival, we discuss the tragic outcome of the event and share our own experience of an infamous Travis Scott concert we attended April 30th, 2017 at Terminal 5 in NYC that left a man paralyzed. We wrapped up the podcast discussing the reality of concerts and who we think is at fault and to blame for the deaths at Astroworld Fest and how at the root of the issue is selfishness and celebrity idolization that turned deadly_________________________________________________________OUR SOCIAL MEDIA:Podcast YouTube Channel: https://youtube.com/channel/UCUA7mQPLZ2tf5yBzCQZvsCwMAL'S personal YouTube Channel: https://youtube.com/c/TheLifeofMalMAL'S IG & Twitter: @malwavesALEX'S personal YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqFmKxPqWpUbxor_sYQRQgQALEX'S IG: @theonlyalexgALEX'S Twitter: @itstheonlyalexgInstrumental/beats by him! In this podcast we discuss Boosie's recent tweets towards Lil Nas X where he went too far saying Nas should off himself... We discuss his extreme homophobic behavior and we question if men who are extremely homophobic are just homosexual themselves and have anger towards those who can be themselves. We then talked about Chloe Bailey's tweet saying that she wants a man who doesn't always answer the phone because she wants someone who has a life and is busy. We talked about how many women take relationship advice from social media and let social media dictate how they think to the point of contradicting themselves because they'll say they want a man to answer the phone all the time or he is cheating, but he shouldn't always answer the phone because he should be busy. Then we discussed Alec Baldwin and the tragic shooting death of a camera woman on set of his upcoming movie "Rust" and if all the criticism and blame on him is misdirected and if it was really his fault. We wrapped up the pod discussing social media transparency and the new episode of Insecure and backlash by members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. over usage of AKA paraphernalia. In regards to social media transparency, we discussed if we all should show all the flaws in our lives online so people know you aren't perfect, or if we aren't obligated to show everything about ourselves and if social media show just be a highlight reel of our lives. With the Insecure topic, Mal being an AKA herself gives perspective on how she felt about the character Tiffany wearing actual AKA para and how intellectual property (copyright, trademarks, patents) are not up for debate. You need authorized use and permission to redistribute intellectual property. _________________________________________________________OUR SOCIAL MEDIA:MAL'S personal YouTube Channel: https://youtube.com/c/TheLifeofMalMAL'S IG & Twitter: @malwavesALEX'S personal YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqFmKxPqWpUbxor_sYQRQgQ ALEX'S IG: @theonlyalexgALEX'S Twitter: @itstheonlyalexgInstrumental/beats by him! In this podcast we discuss the topic of emotional incest that has been circulating on Twitter lately and how many people, mostly women, burden their sons with the job to fulfill the love they should be receiving from adult partners. We specifically brought up when Erica Mena posted a picture of her newborn infant laying in bed with the weird caption “finally got a real man in my bed”. We briefly talked about how savings accounts are not the best place to leave your money long-term because of the small interest gained and basically the devaluing of your money letting it sit in a savings as opposed to being invested in an index fund. We then talked about Vanessa Bryant having to be mentally evaluation to proceed with her wrongful death lawsuit in regards to Kobe and Gigi and Young Thug suing his luxury apartment because an employee gave a stranger his bag with valuables items including $1 million worth of music; we also discussed his new album “Punk” and Don Toliver's new album. We then talked about the Rory and Mal's new deal with Sirius for their new podcast and Joe Buddens response, Pop Smokes murder trial developments where suspects are now releasing new information and snitching on each other, and Kyrie Irving being suspended by the Nets this basketball season because of his refusal to take the Covid vaccine. We wrapped up the pod discussing Dave Chapelle and his final Netflix special "The Closer" and all the controversary around it in regards to his comments about the LGBTQ+ community. We touched upon this last podcast, but this podcast we talked about further developments including people being fired from Netflix because of this issue and the planned walkout that transgender employees of Netflix will have this week in protest of Netflix. We also brought up the bigger issue of how people can never just talk and a half civil conversations about their opposing views to try to understand each other's differing opinions and experiences, this is the root of many problems is that people don't even just like to have a calm conversation to understand point of views. It's always initial outrage._________________________________________________________OUR SOCIAL MEDIA:Podcast YouTube Channel: https://youtube.com/channel/UCUA7mQPLZ2tf5yBzCQZvsCwMAL'S personal YouTube Channel: https://youtube.com/c/TheLifeofMalMAL'S IG & Twitter: @malwavesALEX'S personal YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqFmKxPqWpUbxor_sYQRQgQALEX'S IG: @theonlyalexgALEX'S Twitter: @itstheonlyalexgInstrumental/beats by him!
