#captshwetamisra speaks- A story from my past when I was awakened to the realisation of the powers of soft skills. I have been an army officer and After leaving the army and having completed my MBA I started teaching management subjects in a college. This was BIET Jhansi, it is now called National Institute of Technology.  So when I joined the college, I used to see a lot of students sitting on dharna (or expressing protest) in front of the principal's office. That continued for almost a month.  The reason for that dharna or demonstration I found out later was that out of roughly 400 students that passed out that year, only 2 got jobs through Campus placement drive. They were accusing the principal and administration for not doing enough. I don't remember how ultimately the situation diffused that time. But in the subsequent semester I was summoned by the director principal in his office. Dr Awasthy was the principal then. he requested me to conduct personality development sessions for the students… so that they were better prepared for the forthcoming campus interviews. I agreed. But …There was no syllabus, no reference points on soft skill training at that time in that college . So I created my own modules. For next 3 months  I conducted mock interviews of final year students, group discussions, Public speaking extempore, Formal dressing, Verbal communication exercise, body language classes etc At the end of that semester, the first company that came for campus interviews hired 30 students on the very first day. The company was TCS . The hiring manager said for the first-time students of Jhansi are talking in an interview, previously when they came for campus drives      students never used to speak.  Because of their poor communication skills they used to get nervous  and absolutely dumbstricken and so it used to be impossible to gauge their programming knowledge, their technical competence and  so they never got hired. Those students were brilliant boys and girls, with very high IQ. Imagine  In just 03 months of training their personality improved, image of college improved, and the IT company got employable productive workforce. So that is when I realised how powerful soft skills can be! Now,  Allow me to introduce our learned speakers . Himanshi Singh She served in the Indian Army and after leaving army she participated in beauty pageants and was crowned Mrs India. Vinita Dalal has been Additional Director Training in the Indian army. Diving directly into the discussion topic which is Understanding why Soft Skills Training is vital to the success of Individuals in ChatGPT times, why corporates desperately need to step in to fill the wide gap, and how educational institutions can do their bit.  Here I will introduce the term hard skills. … What are hard skills? And how are they different from soft skills?  In my understanding…..hard skills are more "along the lines of what might appear on your resume"    those degrees, diplomas, experience certificates etc  Where as soft skills are "non-technical, intangible, personality specific skills" ….These  determines your  strength as "a leader, listener,  a negotiator, or as a conflict mediator"  so basically You know technical skills may get you that dream job but to sustain there  and rise further you will need to lean in on soft skills. In podcast you hear Anecdotal evidence or experiential evidence or little snippets they Let us Go beyond our conceptual bubble and give us a much wider perspective on the topic. Capt Anubha Rathaur also participated in the discussion. Edited excerpts of live soft skills masterclass held on LinkedIn audios on 25 May 2023. Mahamrityunjaya mantra is also known as the Triyambaka Mantra . Chanting of this Mantra releases a string of vibrations that realigns the physical body ensuring maintenance and restoration of good health. It is said to be beneficial for mental, emotional and physical health. This mantra is addressed to Shiva for warding off untimely death.  Mahamrityunjaya Mantra is a verse from the Rig Veda. It bestows longevity, wards off calamities and prevents untimely death. It also removes fears and heals holistically.  Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra Lyrics in Sanskrit and English. ॐ त्र्यम्बकं यजामहे सुगन्धिं पुष्टिवर्धनम् | उर्वारुकमिव बन्धनान्मृत्योर्मुक्षीय माऽमृतात् || Aum Tryambakam yajaamahe sugandhim pushtivardhanam | Urvaarukamiva bandhanaan-mrityormuksheeya maamritaat || The Meaning of the Mantra- We worship the three-eyed One, who is fragrant and who nourishes all. Like the fruit falls off from the bondage of the stem, may we be liberated from death, from mortality.| Repetition of the mantra constitutes Japa, the practice of which develops concentration that leads to a transformation of awareness. It is prescribed to chant the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra 108 times. The Vedic Mathematical explanation of the number ‘108' is as associated with the distance of the Sun and the Earth and also the Earth and the Moon which is 108 times the diameter of the Sun and the Moon respectively. Word-by-word meaning of the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra is as follows:  ॐ aum = is a sacred/mystical syllable.  त्र्यम्बकम् tryambakam = the three-eyed one  त्रि tri = three अम्बक ambaka = eye  यजामहे yajāmahe = we worship, we sacrifice  सुगन्धिम् sugandhim = the fragrant, the virtuous, the supreme being  पुष्टिवर्धनम् puṣṭi + vardhanam = पुष्टि puṣṭi = nourishment, wealth, perfection वर्धन vardhana = increase, growth  उर्वारुकम् urvārukam = fruit, a kind of cucumber इव iva = as (in devanagari written together as उर्वारुकमिव urvārukamiva)  बन्धनान् bandhanān = from bondage, from the stalk/stem  Note: bandhanāt here means "from the stem". Thus, read with urvārukam iva, "as a fruit from the stem"; the etymologically prior meaning of "from bondage" resonates here as the fruit is a simile for the worshipper being released from the bondage of death,  मृत्योः mṛtyoḥ = from death  मुक्षीय mukṣīya =may I be freed/released (become मृत्योर्मुक्षीय mṛtyormukṣīya)  मा ऽमृतात् mā 'mṛtāt = not (mā) from immortality (amṛtāt) (negative particle mā is constructed together with mukṣīya. the last two words become मा ऽमृतात् mā-amṛtāt) --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/arvindramas/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/arvindramas/support

Swish it around in your mouth for 15–20 minutes, being careful not to swallow any. Spit the oil into a trash can once you're done. Rinse your mouth well using water before eating or drinking anything. Repeat these steps a few times per week or up to three times daily. You may also want to work your way up, starting with swishing for just 5 minutes and increasing the duration Some studies suggest that oil pulling may decrease harmful bacteria in your mouth, prevent plaque formation and improve both gum health and oral hygiene. Most of the medical studies show oil pulling as a very promising modality for oral health care. Also, there is quite a lot to learn from ancient traditions such as Ayurveda. The authorship of the Hanuman Chalisa is attributed to Tulsidas, a poet-saint who lived in the 16th century. Among Hindus worldwide, it is a very popular belief that chanting the Chalisa invokes Hanuman's divine intervention in grave problems. The Hindu deity to whom the prayer is addressed, Hanuman, is an ardent devotee of Ram and a central character of the Epic The Ramayana.

Nostradamus' Predictions! Covid19 in Chilling Details.

Nostradamus Forewarned Covid19 in the year 1515. Chilling Reality. Details... Nostradamus believed that he could predict the future and published his predictions in The Prophecies. He studied medicine and became a physician, treating plague victims throughout France and Italy. At the age of 14, Nostradame entered the University of Avignon to study medicine. He was forced to leave after only one year, due to an outbreak of the bubonic plague. According to his own account, he traveled throughout the countryside during this time, researching herbal remedies and working as an apothecary. It's believed he had a psychic awakening. He began to practice the occult and make predictions of the future. Nostradamus claimed to base his published predictions on judicial astrology—the art of forecasting future events by calculation of the planets and stellar bodies in relationship to the earth.Nostradamus was not only a diviner, but a professional healer. Most of the quatrains (a stanza of four lines, especially one having alternate rhymes) Nostradamus composed during his life dealt with disasters such as plagues, earthquakes, wars, floods, invasions murders, droughts, and battles. Nostradamus enthusiasts have credited him with predicting numerous events in world history including the French Revolution; the rise of Napoleon and Hitler; the development of the atomic bomb; and the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. On the evening of July 1, 1566, he is alleged to have told his secretary, "You will not fine me alive at sunrise." The next morning he was reportedly found dead lying on the floor next to his bed. Nostradamus' most debatable prediction is the military invasion of Europe by an Islamic alliance of nations in the early 21st century. Iran and Turkey are mentioned most often, along with many other Muslim nations that unite to invade Southern and Western Europe. The United States is initially unable to help. Nostradamus repeatedly tells us that the war between Islam and Christianity progresses slowly into a world war lasting about 27 years in total. It ends no later than 2029, but could go nuclear much sooner. At least four cities will be nuked, including New York and Rome. Nostradamus did not see up to the year 3797. He knew the world as we know it ends in the early 21st century, just after the war between Islam and Christianity ends. He repeatedly describes an Islamic Antichrist, including a catastrophic pole shift that alters the surface of the Earth. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/arvindramas/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/arvindramas/support
