One of the easiest ways to retain clients and even get first time clients, is to send out a personal message to them. In this video, I talked about dedicating up to an hour a day sending out a personal message to your potential/current clients. Incredibly easy to gain someone's trust that you actually are looking out for the better of their life, health, and pursuit of happiness. Quality of content is big. Do not just be "another fitness video", have a story. Have content that intrigues someone, not just a basic video of you doing lateral raises.
In this episode, I will be introducing to you one of my good friends Callum Robinson. Callum is the Founder of Yung Gunz Coaching (check them out on Facebook) and has gone from comfortably making $60K from online coaching to a stage where he is able to make 6 figures yearly and have nearly 1,000 employees under him. Callum is the type of business owner that wants to see his employees succeed as much as himself. He focuses on being able to create a legacy that represents creating a high quality of living that he, his employees, and his clients can all enjoy. The main topic we will be discussing in this episode is REVERSE ENGINEERING. First off, think about what is important to you as a human being. Determine what your values are. For example, Callum's story allowed us to understand that he values TIME more than he values MONEY. He ends up creating more time not only for himself but also creates more money from a business standpoint by doing so. He could be taking more money out of the business monthly for personal wants, but he would rather spend that on paying someone to spend more time on a project. As a business owner and an entrepreneur, you have to figure out what YOU VALUE. Be stubborn, and know exactly what you WANT IN and FROM your business.
In this video, we will be educating you on our 3-step campaign that will help you to bring in more leads as an online personal trainer. Step #1: Building an audience-building campaign. The issue you are most likely running into right now is trying to get people who DO NOT know you, to KNOW you. You need to be attracting the RIGHT people who will actually buy your service. You need to be catering to people that you are wanting to and can help. You need to implement two different tactics to successfully carry out step 1. Tactic #1: You need to build the way you “message”. In other words, you need to master your sales pitch on why you have the solution to their problem. There are hundreds of thousands of personal trainers, why are you special? Tactic #2: Now that you have your message built, where are you promoting that message? You need both of these tactics to coincide with each other to be successful. Have the RIGHT message in the RIGHT place. Here is a fantastic example, what would happen if you put a fitness billboard in a rice paddy? Absolutely nothing, you need to be promoting yourself in the correct area for success. Step #2: Having a relationship-building campaign. Many people take the wrong approach of trying to go for the kill right away or looking for a sale immediately. Shoving their service packages down the lead's throat, losing the sale in the end. Find a way to build relationships while not being friend-zoned, at the end of the day likes or comments will not pay the bills. We need to dedicate time to building a relationship that may be beneficial. Step #3: Set Up an application-building campaign We have to start transitioning the marketing into sales and leads into clients. MILLION DOLLAR QUESTION Is what you are giving to them ACTUALLY VALUABLE to them? AND do they know that? You need to have a HIGH CONVERTING OFFER, is your message communicating across as an absolute no-brainer that people are wanting to come on board and use you as their coach?
Hey guys, in this video I'd like to talk about the ways you can attract and sell to more leads on social media. This is insanely important because you NEED a system in place that gets you results for the time and effort you put into social media. Making posts that attract no leads isn't only hurting your business, but will affect your mindset when it comes to how motivated you are. Tip 1: Get people to TRUST you The whole point of putting content out is so that people can make the judgment that you are indeed knowledgeable and can get them the result they want. No one will watch your content, buy your program, join your programs, or interact within your community if you cannot sell why you are a FANTASTIC trainer. Tip 2: Build a CONNECTION (KLT Factor) You need to build a relationship with the lead. It is extremely more likely for someone to buy someone's program, service, product, or whatever it may be if there is a KLT (Know, Like, Trust) factor. Rapport building is key. Tip 3: Make sure you're VISIBLE online You need to make sure your posts are getting outreach, if they are only getting three views there is something wrong and you are wasting your time. According to what platform you are on, you need to understand their algorithm to best successfully grow your outreach which will lead to attracting a higher percentage of leads. Algorithms were set up to get the right content in front of the person who wants to see it, no one benefits from this as much as someone like you who is trying to market something. Tip 4: Get the viewer to take the next step Do NOT allow the viewer to friend zone you, or think of you as someone who is not an investment or business partner. You need to be the person who has the answers to their problems, not a mate to go to the local bar. Value your knowledge. Post 1: Teaching post Know their pain, know the issues they are having and be the solution. Make posts talking about a specific issue and how you would go about solving it. Take a step into their shoes and be relatable. Remember to interact with them on the level that they are at. They are not fitness professionals so do not throw a bunch of fitness slang at them Post 2: Connection Style Post Show who you are so they can connect with the type of person you actually are, not just the fake salesperson trying to sell a coaching program. BY ALL MEANS, I am NOT saying to air out everything going on in your life. But be yourself, be relatable. Be the version of yourself that people can vibe with. Post 3: Engagement Post Make sure the content you are posting will be liked, shared, and commented on by the viewers. This helps the algorithm extraordinarily as I talked about before. You can make what I like to call a “hand razor” post which basically is a post that is engaging saying you are looking for a certain type of person who is ready to level up in an aspect of their life (such as their fitness journey)
Have you been burnt by business coaches in the past? The main reason why all of the guru's are able to steal your money is that they are NOT building your business but rather just trying to yell advice at you. Advice will not be able to implement new technology, sales techniques, marketing strategies, or any aspect of the business side of running your own fitness business. This is the biggest problem with most of those business coaches, it grinds my gears seeing them steal hard-earned money from fitness coaches. My goal here is to teach you the fundamentals of being a successful online fitness trainer. I will educate you on what type of business model you should build your business around to make it as profitable as possible. If you are getting nervous about $200k being too much of an “unrealistic” goal in your eyes, you can plug absolutely any number into that equation and this EXTREMELY SIMPLE BUT EFFECTIVE business model will work wonders for you. Trust me, I'm a bit of a meathead. So if I can apply the same business model to my own business and see success, then you can too (and probably even be better) First initial questions to build our business model ~ How much do you want to be charging? ~ How are going to be able to sell at that rate? Some guidance from my end, take as you will, I recommend you charge more rather than less. The typical personal trainer needs to have the mindset that they NEED to charge extremely low in order to be successful. This is extremely counterintuitive. ~ How much money do you want to make? ~ How many sales do you want to make weekly? Let's look at it from a sales perspective now There is a sales pipeline that you need to implement AND work effectively to be able to hit the answers to the above questions. The following are stages of the pipeline that needs to be excelled, in this order ~ opt-in, app, triage, calls, and sale. I'll show you an example of what each stage's numbers might look like Lets say we are trying to make 40 sales per month with a revenue of $72,000/month Pipeline Sales: 40 Calls: 64 Triage: 102 Application: 163 Opt-in: 1,000 Each of the stages has a successful conversion rate that we use to calculate the number we need to hit for the next step in the pipeline based on our desired sales/revenue goal.
We took a survey of over 12,000 coaches and the results were astonishing. The main problem that coaches had was that they do not know what they need to do to build their fitness business. In this video, I will be describing the stepping stones to building the company that YOU want. You might be looking for more leads, want more clients, earn more money, or even have more freedom. But if your like me, you want all four things to prosper alongside one another. So stick around and let me pour some wisdom out to you. Inside FPA, we use a model called the success curve. Which we will dive more into in a moment. Two questions you need to ask yourself before being able to make business decisions are Where are you right now? Where do you want to go? Let me try to explain the Success Curve the best I can in words, the X axis is time and the Y axis is money representing revenue. As time spent on the business increases, so will revenue. By no means is it a steady ratio of rise over run, but essentially the Y axis increases in result of the X axis increasing. We have broken this into 3 different critical stages that need to happen to be able to have the curve properly executed. Stage 1: Ignition. We need to be able to get everything started so we can ignite the fire. Stage 2: Acceleration. This is the stage where the ball starts rolling from a straight line on the graph, to an increasing segment. Stage 3: Domination. At this point, you will have a full team, proper thriving systems in place, multiple streams of income, and most importantly recurring income that you will not have to deal with.
Finding a niche is something that, if nailed at the beginning, can be one of the most simple steps to make sure your training business is successful. If you do not have the proper niche at the start, you mine as well have thrown away all of the time and money you have invested. Question #1 Is your business high not profit? Are you going to be able to earn the money that you want? Question #2 Is it easy to sell? Is it frictionless? Question #3 Is it enjoyable? If it is not enjoyable, you will get easily drained doing it. Question #4 Is it sustainable? Is it something you can do in the long-term? You MUST check all four of these boxes off to have a thriving online training business, you CANNOT compromise on any of the above questions. At the end of the day, this is a coaching business. This is bigger than just being a personal trainer, you need to treat this like a BUSINESS if you want to succeed. Focus #1 What is the result your client wants to achieve? Focus #2 What are they interested in? Do not base your target audience or “niche” according to what is hot on the market. For example, tailoring to overweight middle-aged moms. The reason is, doing this will not check the box off of the 4 questions above. Yes, it is still important to have a niche or target audience that has money to pay for your services but it should not be the main factor. FOCUS on WHO you want to SERVE.
Your website is not going to save you. A website is a very minor problem that doesn't affect much, but the majority of entrepreneurs like to believe that a website is the answer to all of their problems. Smart business owners solve the big problems first. If you are making less than 7 figures a year, you do not even need a website. That is how small of an issue a website is. I was able to make $70,000 in my first month as the CEO of Fit Pro Association and I DO NOT have my own website. Google's search engine, if someone searched “online fitness coach” do you think you will show up anyone within the first 50 pages? There are hundreds of thousands of other coaches in the world, do not rely on your website to make or break your business.
There are a few primary focuses that we will be addressing in this video to 8x your income 1. How can you handle more clients? I like to call this the time for money trap. Most beginner trainers become “capped” with the number of clients and work they can handle, given their time crunch. If you can only handle 20-25 clients, then you are limiting how big you grow, but more importantly, you are capping your income. Handling more clients is not the only focal point, you need to be able to retain these clients as well. Many of the trainers we work with have a big issue that they are losing too many of their clients, we need to build a stable client retention program. We are limited to 7 days a week, we need to be able to change deliverables so you can handle more clients and be able to give them better results. Your coaching delivery should only take you one hour of work per client. Be efficient and effective in involving time and money. Have an onboarding checklist that is automated. You need an agreement setup and signed, a payment system, schedule a kickoff call, and many more steps. We have the checklist in our private facebook community, we give it to you for FREE. The big questions you have to ask yourself are how much money you want to make, what type of work you want to do, how much you want to work, what type of audience you want to target, how can we best get that target audience the results they want,
If you don't have the confidence, certainly, that deep down sense of knowing that you can help someone create an incredible transformation, no one will buy your service. Think about it, imagine if you asked a salesperson if they would recommend the product they are trying to sell you and they responded with “no”. You more than likely would not buy it and go with their better alternative. It's easy to be uncertain about the marketing, sales, and training side of the business. But, having an efficient coaching process in place will help alleviate some of the obstacles you have to face so you can focus on the client aspect of your business. When you start mixing these various aspects in your business as an online personal trainer, you will slowly sabotage all the other aspects. You need to have a PRIMARY focus. BELIEVE in what you sell, or no one else will.
The harder conversations you're willing to have, the more money you will make. There is one question that I have asked everyone I've spoken with in the last 30 days, and that question has allowed me to drive $120k in revenue. This one question stems from a belief system that I am willing to confront hard conversations with people because that allows us to actually solve problems and move forward. Too many people get emotional in conversations and avoid the truth or calling out the elephant in the room because they're scared of what's going to happen or how others may react. You need to be able to get the real reason why someone is hesitating on buying your coaching, only then you can actually address it and find a solution for it. Without asking the tough questions, you will never be able to sell someone your product/service who is second-guessing themselves. You need to be able to get down to the root of their thought process and help them figure out why they NEED your solution. Ask the HARD question.
In this video, we will be discussing a three-step process that will allow you to scale your online personal business by up to 10x in your first years. Josh is a key example of someone who was able to implement the strategies in this video to be successful. Everything that we will be going through in this video correlates to ensuring you are educated on having an efficient and effective system in place. A system is a repeatable process that can work day in and day out to get the predicted result to get the predicted that we want, and WE DO NOT want you to do the heavy lifting. It should be automated if not delegated. We do NOT want you to pull your hair out focusing on things that you are not educated about, let us do the heavy lifting in those processes so you can focus on being the best possible trainer for your clients. First, get people who do not know you, to feel like they do know you. You need a proper system setup to be able to get new clients and able to show these clients that you are the most qualified person to help them get the results they are looking for. You need to be focusing on one platform at a time. You shouldn't be trying to manage three social media at one time since you have not mastered one. Become a master on one platform before juggling multiple at the same time. Ask yourself if the platform(s) you've chosen, is where most of your target audience is. For example, if you were targeting elderly men and women you probably shouldn't be using Instagram as Instagram is more commonly used by younger generations. Be smart when picking the platform you use, look up statistics on each platform and find what is most used by your target audience. Second, build a relationship with the new client you found. Nurture them, and build a relationship with them that allows them to feel you are the right person for the job. They need to believe that YOU are the answer to their issues. There are hundreds of thousands, maybe millions of competitors to you. You need to prove to your lead that you are there to solve their issues and that you are the one to get it done. Once you have built a relationship or are in the process, you need to make sure you increase the amount of content consumption of that potential client. The more content of yours they consume, the more likely that person is to become a current client of yours. People see it as a sign if they keep seeing your content. They see new videos, reels, and emails as signs, and it will positively affect their outlook toward you and your service. Lastly, you need to give them an offer that they cannot say no to. Can you actually say here is what I have for you, and for them to say yes, I WANT that! You have to make your offer stand out to your competition. Any trainer will give out a workout routine, nutrition plan, and have one-on-one calls. The result needs to be specific to your market and should be measurable.
One of the reasons you are not where you want to be is because you are taking advice from people who are not actually qualified and are not living the life you want. A mentor should be someone that you would like to change places with in life. It is unlikely that you are going to take one course or follow the steps of an Instagram post and be able to replicate or perfect someone else's process. What is important to you, the character traits, and what are the actual results you want our mentor to have actually achieved so they can give it to you? Someone like an exercise science geek who makes $50k a year should not be qualified to teach you IF you value your time and money. If you VALUE being able to travel, make 6-7 figures, and only work 20-30 hours a week, then you should try to pick a mentor who is QUALIFIED. I'd would consider someone like myself is qualified, considering I have had a 97% customer service rating while coaching 15k+ clients before the age of 25, have been a part of a $200M fitness business which was the fastest growing online brand in history, and now a CEO. I have worked my way up from being in your shoes, in the trenches, to be able to have a position to help people like YOURSELF find freedom.
There are two questions I want us to answer in this video 1. Is this bullshit? 2. If not, then how has it done it? With 178 current customers, Aaron is making roughly $137k a month. He runs a subscription-based plan. There are 15 employees, 14 trainers, and one tech guy. From $300 to over $137k per month, is absolutely incredible, to say the least. We want to highlight the main things to do as an online coach to be able to scale your business to this level. One of the bigger issues when it comes to being an online trainer is struggling to find new clients and securing the sale with those leads. Without being able to find the correct target audience and make the actual sale, you have no income. Whether you need to have ads or create content, either way, you MUST be reaching an audience for potential leads. You need to ALWAYS be studying how to be a better trainer. It does not matter how long you have been in the industry or how much you THINK you know. You can still be studying and learning about the fitness industry and new training studies. To have an excellent service, you must be enhancing your knowledge. If you find yourself in the position of needing to hire employees, hire people that are BETTER than you. Whether it is skills or knowledge, hire people who can do a better job than you can.

They should have their questions answered prior to the meeting with you, this is a part of the step above involving thanking them and priming them to be ready for the call with you. The “High Conversion, High Ticket Closing Sale” is the bread and butter to get up to 90% conversion levels. Getting leads through the door is the easy part but being able to actually get those clients to buy your program is the tough part that coaches struggle with. The old personal training model is broken and if you don't adapt, you WILL be left behind. You may be posting on various social media platforms, trying to run ads, running your own website, and managing a fancy funnel system, yet you are still not reaching the amount of success you thought you would. Our main goal is to help smart PTs be able to get more clients and more freedom in their daily life. We aren't just good at it, we are GREAT at it. There are too many cooks in the kitchen. Too many business gurus are one-trick ponies that are not effective at mixing multiple techniques at the SAME time to maximize efficiency, resulting in the most amount of time put in and the least money out. We are here to do the opposite, we are here to maximize YOUR efficiency. We want to help you grow your business to a position where you have freedom in terms of time and money, while being able to impact lives.
The big questions we will be answering in this video are ~ Where are you right now? How much money do you want to be making? What do you want to be selling? Do you actually understand how to get leads and do you know how to convert those leads into sales? Finally, do you have a tangible plan involving realistic goals for your business? Sales: The key to a successful sales strategy has three crucial steps that all need to be done successfully for the entire process to work. The first step is generating traffic (event, VSL, books, social media), which then leads to a call with the potential client, and finally leaving it up to you to make the delivery. Leads: If you can contact a lead within 5 minutes compared to 60 minutes, you will get at least 10 times as many calls booked. The sales system starts with booking the call, which is done by the setter, the second part of the process is handed onto the triage coach to see if the lead is qualified, and finally, it gets transferred to the closer. This is a hyper specific-oriented 3-man team that maximizes efficiency by allowing each team member to be extremely good at their specific role. This reduces both money and time spent. Plan: You need to be thinking about what your main strategy should be when it comes to numbers. Think about how many sales, triages, booked calls, and opt-ins you want to be seeing. I will leave below the same example that was used in the video with the exact percentages that I think are realistic. Step 1: Opt-ins = 60% Step 2: Booked = 60% Step 3: Strategy = 70% Total Sales = 40
Not everyone has a 97% positive customer service rating after coaching over 15,000 online clients. With my knowledge, I can get you as close to a rating if not better than 97%. One of the biggest issues I see when it comes to online coaching is the onboarding process. Coaches take the wrong actions through the onboarding process that does not guarantee the client to be able to fulfill the nutrition and fitness plan they are paying for. This commitment between the coach and client should be long-term, remember the key here is to make an impact in people's lives. Too many coaches are freestyling the way they run their communication operations. You need to have a system setup where the client knows when and what type of information they are getting. For example, on day 3 they can expect ______ and day 21 they can expect _____. The systemization that I have implemented between myself, and my clients is the main reason why I have been able to score a 97% positive customer service rating. The effectiveness of the onboarding process is one of, if not, the most important parts of a successful relationship between a coach and client. A client needs the MOMENTUM and RESULTS right at the beginning of the relationship. If they already had these, they would not be coming to you in the first place. An effective onboarding process will not only keep the client motivated, but it will exponentially increase the chances of the client coming back to you and wanting your service.
