In Part 2 of Murder: True Crime Stories, host Carter Roy continues the investigation into the 1998 disappearance of 23-year-old Amy Bradley from a Royal Caribbean cruise ship. Multiple witnesses claimed to have seen Amy alive across the Caribbean in the years that followed, but every lead ran cold, and a con man posing as a Special Forces operative bilked her family out of more than $200,000. Decades later, the Bradleys still believe Amy is out there, and they're still waiting for the day she comes home. Does your daily schedule look like a solid wall of back-to-back video calls? Do you find yourself constantly saying, "I just have to get through this week"? If so, you might be driving straight toward burnout. In this vital archive episode of The Connected Leadership Bytes, Andy Lopata sits down with leadership experts Dr. Amy Bradley and Dr. Katherine Semler to explore the hidden mechanics of exhaustion. Both women share their personal "wake-up calls"—from the realisation of spending nine consecutive days trapped on Zoom to a jarring moment of clarity standing outside in the freezing cold. This conversation moves beyond the typical advice of "taking a break." Amy and Katherine explain why the most passionate, high-achieving perfectionists are actually the most at risk. They break down the toxic extremes of workplace culture—those that stigmatise stress and those that glorify it—and reveal why a leader's empathy is the ultimate firewall against employee burnout. If you want to protect your team (and yourself) from running on empty, this episode is essential listening. What You Will Learn From This Episode The Passion Paradox: Why being deeply passionate about your work and unable to say "no" to interesting projects is a fast track to exhaustion. The Isolation of the "Eggshell" Approach: Why being too careful with your language around struggling colleagues can accidentally isolate them further. The End of the Buffer Zone: How the shift to virtual meetings destroyed the natural "commute cushion" between tasks, creating relentless cognitive strain. Actionable Insights Stop Asking "How Are You?": Ditch the throwaway greeting. Instead, use specific, questions like, "How are you coping with [Specific Project]?" or "Is there anything I can do to lighten your load today?" This proves you are genuinely listening and opens the door for real answers. Audit Your Diary for White Space: Immediately evaluate your calendar. If you have back-to-back calls booked for hours on end, break the pattern. Force 5-to-10-minute buffers into your schedule to step away from your desk, get fresh air, and reset your brain. When Ron Bradley won an all-expense paid cruise to the Caribbean in 1998, it seemed like a great opportunity to have one last family vacation with his wife, Iva, and his kids, twenty-three-year-old Amy and twenty-one-year-old Brad. In March, the family flew to Puerto Rico, where they boarded “Rhapsody of the Seas,” a Royal Caribbean cruise ship, and set off for the island of Curacao. The trip was everything Ron and his wife had hoped for, but just two days after departing from Puerto Rico, Amy went missing and their lives would never be the same again. If anyone has any information about the whereabouts of Amy Bradley, they are encouraged to contact the family through their website amybradleyismissing.com or the FBI at tips.fbi.gov. In Episode 4 of Amy Bradley: Vanished at Sea, Dr. Phil and Amy's younger brother, Brad Bradley, confront the most troubling inconsistencies in the case, statements made before Amy was reported missing, timelines that shift under scrutiny, and behavior that defies logic.Brad walks through the moments after Amy vanished, detailing encounters with crew members who referenced her disappearance before any announcement was made, and why those contradictions matter from a forensic and psychological standpoint. Dr. Phil explains how people who volunteer information they were never asked for often reveal deception—and why the “overboard” theory collapses under both psychological and physical analysis.Together, they examine eyewitness testimony, crew access points, security failures, and conflicts of interest that may have shaped the investigation from the start. This episode moves beyond speculation, focusing on verifiable facts that point to one conclusion: Amy did not disappear by accident—and someone on that ship knew far more than they admitted.https://www.drphilpodcasts.com/amy-bradley-vanished-at-seaSUBMIT A TIP Call 804-789-4269 (4AMY)VISIT: https://x.com/BradRad5Bradleyhttps://amybradleyismissing.com/https://www.missingamybradley.com/https://www.gofundme.com/f/amy-bradley-is-missinghttps://www.change.org/p/mandate-amy-alert-on-all-cruise-linesSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
In Part Three of Amy Bradley: Vanished at Sea, Dr. Phil sits down with Amy's younger brother, Brad Bradley, the last person to see her alive for a deeply personal examination of what really happened in the final hours before she disappeared.Brad revisits the night on board the Rhapsody of the Seas, clarifying long-misreported details about Amy's state of mind, her fear of the ocean, and the precise 30-minute window in which she vanished. He challenges the long-standing “overboard” theory with ship-speed calculations, docking procedures, and firsthand observations that place the vessel at Curaçao, not open sea, when Amy went missing. From missing photographs and unexplained crew behavior to critical details about the cabin scene that were altered before investigators arrived, this episode reframes the case through the eyes of someone who lived it and raises unsettling questions about what was known, when it was known, and who may have known more than they admitted.https://www.drphilpodcasts.com/amy-bradley-vanished-at-seaSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

After nearly three decades of silence, one of the most haunting missing-person cases in modern history has come roaring back to life. Twenty-three-year-old Amy Lynn Bradley vanished in March 1998 while on a family cruise aboard Royal Caribbean's Rhapsody of the Seas. Her disappearance became one of the most baffling maritime mysteries ever recorded — no body, no answers, and no closure. But in July 2025, Netflix's Amy Bradley Is Missing documentary changed everything. Within weeks of its release, the FBI confirmed three “very significant” new leads. According to People magazine and other verified outlets, one involves a female bartender who allegedly shouted “Señorita kidnapped!” the night Amy vanished. Another comes from a digital trace — an IP hit from a boat near Barbados accessing Amy's official missing-person website shortly after the documentary aired. And a third, more haunting claim: that Amy may have had a child after disappearing. These developments could completely rewrite the story that's lingered since 1998. Investigators are now re-interviewing witnesses, analyzing maritime data, and tracing that digital signal in hopes of identifying who's watching Amy's story from the Caribbean waters. This episode digs deep into these new revelations — the forensic possibilities, the legal hurdles, and the psychological toll of hope after twenty-seven years. What really happened on the Rhapsody of the Seas? And could the answers finally be within reach? Join us as we uncover the truth behind the Amy Bradley case — what the FBI is doing now, what the Netflix series reignited, and why some believe this mystery might finally be on the verge of being solved. #AmyBradley #HiddenKillers #TrueCrime #Netflix #FBI #CaribbeanMystery #ColdCase #AmyBradleyIsMissing #CrimeDocumentary #Investigation Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Amy and Kat kick things off with a few thoughts about the Amy Bradley case (if you know, you know) before diving into a monthly check-in exercise that Amy’s bringing to the table this week. She walks herself and Kat through 5 prompts (what they’re proud of, grateful for, affirming, and working on next) and encourages you to try it out too (see the prompts below!) From small wins like finally hanging curtains and hiring a house cleaner to quirky habits (stretching that’s actually just lying on the floor), it’s a mix of relatable and comical…especially Kat’s book recommendation that comes up and Amy’s dryer-ball obsession! Amy also shares the very weird moment when a guy tried hitting on her while she was with her kids and reads a quick thing about why wives might be the ultimate “cheat code to life.” Want to try the check-in for yourself or with friends and family? Just finish these 5 sentences with whatever feels true for you right now: This month, I’m proud of accomplishing… One thing I’m grateful for is… My affirmation for the next month is… One habit I cultivated this month was… One thing I want to accomplish next month is… Click HERE for details on the Top Golf fundraiser Amy is hosting with Ben for foster kids in Nashville. Just a few hours earlier, she had been at a party, joking with her brother, dancing with the ship's band, and planning out the next day's adventure in Curaçao. By sunrise, Amy was gone. Her sandals were still on the balcony. Her cigarettes were missing. Her key card and license were gone too, but everything else had been left behind. What began as a family vacation quickly turned into a nightmare, and the moments leading up to Amy's disappearance would raise questions that remain unanswered to this day.
