This week on Colin Peters presents… we head back into my mix vaults to listen to the second most important mix of my career. Recorded in 2010 and based on Russ Meyer's classic B-Movie, FASTER, PUSSYCAT! KILL! KILL! was the mix that opened my second era behind the decks. In 2009 I was thinking about giving it all up as I was getting every fewer gigs and was disillusioned with the music (this was the year when 'I Gotta A Feeling' by Black Eyed Peas & David Guetta was released :(. I decided to take things back to the drawing board and channel the music I loved when I started, spliced with the punky young guns of the day (Bloc Party, Two Door Cinema Club, TV On The Radio), and the mix was a huge success, opening up residencies at Cultura Club in Palma and Ibiza Rocks and paving the way to how I mix nowadays.
