David Sanford is an active-duty service member who has built up a substantial real estate portfolio over recent years. In 2016, David read Rich Dad Poor Dad and decided that real estate would be something he would pursue and purchased his first rental property. Once he acquired his first property, it was game on. Over the next couple years, he would go on to purchase over 75 homes, most of which he kept as long-term rental properties. At first it was a slow start, but once David realized the power of raising private capital, his portfolio expanded rapidly. Today, David holds close to $10M in real estate and flips a few houses a year to cover overhead expenses. David enjoys helping others get involved in the real estate business and is always looking for new partnerships in the commercial real estate space. One thing that David largely harps on is time management. A father of 3, a husband, a full-time service member, and running a large real estate business is no easy feat!. Artist Jumper Maybach talks with Emmy Winner Charlotte Robinson host of OUTTAKE VOICES™ about his mission to be a part of the solution to help end hate, bullying and intolerance globally. Jumper believes that a person's trauma defines the individual. Maybach's journey came to a head in 2010 after suffering decades of emotional abuse and being marginalized for his sexual orientation. He found himself on the brink of an emotional precipice which was instrumental and vital to his healing process by releasing his pain as well as his joy into his artwork. The art is a constant evolution of color and complete abandonment of the paint. The complexity of the abstract style comes from deep within. Jumper is unashamed to teach the world a lesson in compassion. His art is a beacon for ending hate, bullying and intolerance in the world. Maybach's art is about turning darkness into light. Not long after Jumper began his career as an artist he started to receive national and international recognition for his work. In 2013 Jumper held his first gallery show which ultimately led to an invite to attend Art Dubai 2013 as a VIP guest. Jumper exhibited in Dubai, UAE in 2015 and in 2017 at the prestigious Alliance Française. It was there that he received a documentary film opportunity and was dubbed the Jackson Pollock of the 21st century. Now Maybach has partnered with 4 distinct companies in an effort to expand their product line across multiple consumer retail segments as well as bring new audiences to the brand and mission. The companies are BIG LOViE, Ahdorned, OPR Eyewear and V. Fraas with retail products launching now through September 2022. We talked to Jumper about what he hopes to accomplish with his work and his spin on our LGBTQ issues.  Jumper Maybach (born Ben Workman) is an American artist originally from Corpus Christi, Texas. Jumper appreciates the opportunities he has been given and is committed to giving back to multiple organizations through both financial and artistic contributions. He and his partner David Sanford actively support GLAAD, the Human Rights Campaign, the Matthew Shepard Foundation, AIDS Foundation Houston and the Trevor Project in addition to many other local and national charities.  For More Info… LISTEN: 600+ LGBTQ Chats @OUTTAKE VOICES

It's no secret: Finishing this life with a God-honoring legacy isn't automatic and certainly isn't easy. So, in my twenties and thirties and again in my forties, I asked a number of older Christians to show me how it's done. Thankfully, they agreed! A few months before his death, best-selling author and international consultant Dr. Ted W. Engstrom invited me to spend a day together, just the two of us. His eyesight was gone, but his mind was still sharp. For hours, he told me about the things closest to his heart. Among other things, Ted told me about a pact he, Billy Graham, and Bill Bright had made decades earlier, before they became famous. “We promised each other that we would finish well,” Dr. Engstrom told me, smiling. “And just think—Bill Bright did just that! Billy Graham assures me he's going to be faithful to the end. And I fully intend to do the same!” _ David Sanford's book and Bible projects have been published by Zondervan, Tyndale House, Thomas Nelson, Doubleday, Barbour, and Amazon. God’s Kingdom is the context through which He is advancing His purposes through humanity here on earth.

So how, exactly, does the Lord Jesus Christ see each member of humanity? The answer, it turns out, is more relevant than ever—and has three parts. The three parts are: God’s Kingdom. God’s Family. God’s Church.

They’re not the same, but how are they different? People in the churches we lead need to know!

At the risk of oversimplifying what the Bible teaches, allow me to use the image of three concentric circles. Eternity will be enjoyed by all God’s Family down through the ages... Host: Jeff CranstonCo Host: Jen Denton Episode SummaryLoneliness has become a real issue for many during this time of pandemic. Feeling disconnected from people leads to loneliness. And you don’t have to be alone to be lonely. When we think back to Creation, one of the earliest problems that God saw was when He said, “It is not good for man to be alone.” In this episode we discuss the doctrine of God's omnipresence. Is God there when we need Him? Is He there even when we don’t need Him? Is He in Heaven or is He on earth? Or both? Can we truly turn to Him at any time and know He’s there? Topics We Discussed in this Episode● [5:45] Omnipresence, stated simply, means that God’s presence is everywhere. He is all-present or present everywhere. There’s nowhere we can go to hide from Him, because everywhere we go, He is already there. ● [8:05] There is nothing hidden from His sight, because His presence is everywhere.● [12:30] God is not limited by space or special dimensions. He cannot be contained by any space. Is God in Heaven? Is God only in Heaven? ● [15:16] Good theology, which leads to a solid biblical worldview, teaches us that God is present everywhere in His creation, but that He is distinct from His creation.● [17:10] As a believer, because God is omnipresent, you and I are never alone. From episode one, guest David Sanford shared that one of the main causes of an individual leaving the faith was when tragedy strikes. The question becomes how a loving God can allow something so evil and tragic to occur. But the call of faithful from the Bible calls the follower of Jesus to remain faithful no matter what. Christian teaching points back to Job who lost everything. Job faced the unthinkable and remained faithful. Lora Jones faced the unthinkable in her life and like Job was asked to quit believing in God. She has remained faithful and been a shining light to others. Lora’s friend Rita Halter Thomas, who writes and edits “Hold On Stories” for Stand Firm Ministries and Hold On (they can be found at www.standfirministries.com and www.holdonpodcast.com), says that Lora never wavered in her faith. J.L. Jones, Lora’s husband, was a pastor. As a family, they faithfully served and followed Jesus. Their entire lives were focused on God, but they were still not immune to tragedy. Lora woke up to find her world had completely changed. For fourteen years, she has held on to her faith. She travels across the country speaking at churches and conferences with Lora Jones Ministries. Her story is soon to be released to the world through her book Song of a Wounded Heart. The book will be available June 25, 2019.

Past generations in America saw people leave the church and even the faith as teenagers, but they typically returned when they began to have families of their own. Statisticians tell us now that is not the case. That especially, young adults who have grown up in the faith and leave are not coming back. The research makes the possibility seem hopeless, but author David Sanford has personally been able to help others come back to their faith and even come into a stronger faith. David has been following this trend of people leaving the faith for over a decade. His book If God Disappears addresses this phenomenon and addresses nine major faith wreckers. In his latest book, Loving Your Neighbor: Surprise It’s Not What You Think provides ten steps to help someone return to their faith. This is a must-listen episode for anyone who feels it is hopeless for someone to return to the faith.

Across the country, women have been filing class action lawsuits over a male-dominated culture and alleged gender discrimination within the walls of their law firms. In this episode of  Lawyer 2 Lawyer, hosts J. Craig Williams and Bob Ambrogi join David Sanford, chairman and co-founder of Sanford Heisler, LLP, attorney Kerrie Campbell, a partner in Chadbourne & Parke’s Litigation Department and Caroline Fredrickson, president of the American Constitution Society (ACS), to discuss litigation, the difficulty of proving gender discrimination, legislation, and what the future looks like for equality for women in the workplace. Attorney David Sanford is chairman and co-founder of Sanford Heisler, LLP.  David was lead counsel representing approximately 7,000 female employees in Velez v. Novartis. After a seven-week trial, Mr. Sanford secured the largest employment verdict in United States history. David is currently representing attorney Kerrie Campbell in her gender discrimination class action lawsuit. Attorney Kerrie Campbell is a partner in Chadbourne & Parke’s Litigation Department in its Washington, DC office. Over 27 years, Ms. Campbell has built a practice focused on all aspects of consumer product safety, risk management, regulatory compliance and related litigation, and on reputation protection, defamation, libel, product disparagement and First Amendment issues and litigation.  Attorney Campbell is currently involved in litigation against her law firm alleging gender discrimination. Attorney Caroline Fredrickson is president of the American Constitution Society (ACS). Before joining ACS, Caroline served as the director of the ACLU’s Washington legislative office and as general counsel and legal director of NARAL Pro-Choice America. During the Clinton administration, she served as special assistant to the president for legislative affairs. Caroline is author of “Under the Bus: How Working Women Are Being Run Over” (The New Press, 2015). Special thanks to our sponsor, Clio.
