Event designer David DiCicco is back to discuss authenticity in design and how florals and layered details create an emotional, immersive “stage” for clients, especially at weddings. They compare styling versus interiors, noting the challenge of making permanent decisions in one's own home, and David shares that his creativity comes from his mother and interests in theater, interior design, and working with people, calling himself “a little bit of a therapist” in emotionally charged wedding work. On marketing, he credits word-of-mouth, referrals from planners and venues, and repeat clients over many years. The conversation turns to relationship structures, divorce, and open relationships, emphasizing that trust, communication, evolving “rules,” and reduced judgment are key, and David shares his own experiences and that he's been seeing someone long-distance since March. He discusses what pragmatic trials are and how they can improve the efficiency of clinical research, as well as describing the work that was done at the meeting last year and the report that's come out of it. He also gets into next steps, how the new administration has and hasn't affected the work TransCelerate is doing with the FDA, and the role TransCelerate plays in taking these recommendation and putting them into practice. Tune in to learn how the pharma industry is working together to change the way clinical trials are done.

Join me for the career reflections of Jervis DiCicco, co-founder & CEO of ProsperBridge. At a young age he's fascinated by the stock market and investments because both his dad and stepdad are in the financial industry. But he's bored with his econ class in high school, so focuses his college courses on international relations and theater, earning a bachelor's degree with a double major in political science and theater. His love for the theater and writing (plus a girlfriend) draws him to LA doing temp work while writing a screen play. He describes these early years as going where the wind takes him. Once marriage is on the horizon and the possibly of starting a family, he decides he needs a career with strong earning potential, pointing him back to the financial industry. It's not easy getting a start, but he finds the right opportunity where his hard work pays off. Unfortunately, the 2008-09 financial crisis hits causing the bottom to fall out of his market. Within one year his income is down 80%, his wife leaves him, and his dad dies. His faith, finding his purpose and collaborating with friends are what get him through this super low point. Applying what he learned from these experiences and continuing to learn and collaborate, he's now living his purpose leading ProsperBridge What's served Jervis best: collaboration & self-awareness. His words of wisdom: “Find what really activates your passion. What, based on your core values, do you want to go fix?”
Real Estate Powerhouse Anthony DiCicco is not the typical "chatty type", but make no mistake... Anthony's success is framed by superior communications. I loved getting the chance to get to know Anthony, and our guest shares a ton! Through it all, the recurring theme is how Anthony keeps his success...rooted in the family! We go all the way back to Anthony's automotive days (as this Philadelphia native draws from his family roots.) The experience, tips, and tactics shared are relevant to any profession- and have really translated to Anthony DiCicco's Real Estate success. When Anthony shares that he has only been a full- time Real Estate agent since 2019, I was blown away by his explosive success in such a short window of time. While our guest shares that he hates change, significant change has taken place (both professionally and personally.) There's a new Real Estate team that has formed... and again it begins as a family affair. After 20 years, Anthony DiCicco has formed the DiCicco Sells Team, Brokered at Keller Williams Doylestown/ New Hope. To learn more, and to reach Anthony DiCicco, simply click the link below. After I spent five years homeless, I spent my time filming movies in one hundred countries, seven continents, and forty-nine American states. As the Executive Director of CrossFit Media, I was a vital part of growing CrossFit from a movement with three-hundred gyms to an organization with fifteen-thousand gyms and an international footprint. During that time, I became educated on health in the United States and now believe that added sugar and refined carbohydrates are at the center of today's health crisis. I have elite level discipline to work hard, and I believe at the end of the day: love is the answer.
