However, this was NOT the end and so, in an effort to make sense of it all, they even read PETER PARKER THE SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN #25-31 to investigate the mystery of Carrion. Then they get caught briefly in the EVOLUTIONARY WAR, before SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN #149 takes one last attempt to tie it all together. Are we left with a coherent narrative?
