The event included two sensory zones and a kids' zone and featured a 5k race as well. Ninety teams of friends, families and colleagues raised more than 0,000 for the organization through their networks. The top overall team fundraiser was Team bELIeve, which raised nearly ,500. The hurlers will be hosting a Family Fun Day event in Pearse Stadium, Salthill from 12-2pm. They wish to invite all future stars to a “meet and greet” with squad and management members where there will be loads of chances to meet the players, get autographs and selfies and all while supporting a truly deserving cause. There will also be chances to win some great prizes. Hand in Hand Children's Cancer Charity is based in Loughrea, Co Galway. The charity provides practical and emotional support to children and their families who are affected by childhood cancer.
