Every producer in this industry, from the rookie to the top all-star, gets the exact same 24 hours in a day. It's the ultimate equalizer. Yet, most waste this invaluable resource on outdated training, get bogged down in service work, and lack the discipline to focus on what actually drives growth. They treat time as something that just happens, not as their most critical asset. The top 1% understand that how you manage your time is the #1 differentiator between mediocrity and massive success. In this episode, I'll give you the game plan for how elite producers leverage time at every stage of their career. Written by Reed LochamyPlayed by Will Lochamy, Bella Tucker, Cyndi Askins, Nick Daviston, Charlotte Daviston, Billie Lochamy, and Lyla LochamyFor most rounds, there are three questions, and you rank your answers, assigning point values of 5, 3, and 1 each round, depending on your level of confidence. The one you feel best about is your 5-point answer, the one you're just guessing on is your 1-point answer. (For any rounds where the points don't work this way, we'll discuss that during the game.)If you feel certain that you know the answer to all three questions in a typical round, then instead of assigning points of 5, 3 and 1, you can go for 11 points. If you do that and you answer all three questions correctly, you get 11 points (instead of 9). However, if you do that and you miss just one question, you get a 0 for the round. The bonus round question has five possible answers. You get 3 points for every correct answer you submit. Like with going for 11 in typical rounds, though, you can choose to go for 20 in the bonus round (but doing so is risky in the same way that going for 11 in typical rounds is).Have questions about the game or how it works? Please feel free to email those to will@bhammountainradio.com
In today's conversation, I'm joined by longtime Producer of The LoCo Experience, (and continuing as Operations Manager of many hats at LoCo Think Tank) Alma Arellano, along with our newest employee and incoming Producer of the podcast, Ava Munos! We dig into Ava's background a bit - which revolved around competitive dance for years - and explore some of the changes coming for Season 5 of The LoCo Experience. Also, Alma breaks down our top 5 most-listened episodes of 2024 and we talk about some of the most inspiring - and the most LoCo - experiences shared during season 4. If you're a fan of the show, you won't want to miss this one!Disclaimer - We lost the first hour of our conversation due to a tech glitch, during which Ava shared deeply about the joys and the traumas of her dance career. We tried to start over and re-create the conversation, but it was admittedly difficult to remember what we'd covered in the lost conversation, and what was still left to unfold in the fresh one. Interview with Louis-Pierre Gignac, President & CEO of G Mining Ventures Corp. Our previous interview: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/posts/g-mining-ventures-tsxgmin-new-500000-oz-gold-producer-5263Recording date: 19th September 2024G Mining Ventures (GMIN) is rapidly establishing itself as a rising star in the gold mining sector, offering investors exposure to a company with a clear growth trajectory and a track record of efficient project execution. Led by President and CEO Louis-Pierre Gignac, the company is strategically positioned to capitalize on the current favorable gold price environment while building a substantial production base. The cornerstone of GMIN's operations is the Tocantinzinho (TZ) gold project in Brazil, which recently achieved commercial production on time and within budget. This accomplishment demonstrates the company's operational capabilities and sets the stage for positive cash flow generation. TZ is designed to produce approximately 175,000 ounces of gold annually, with potential to reach close to 200,000 ounces, providing a solid foundation for the company's growth ambitions.GMIN's next major growth driver is the Oko West project in Guyana, which represents a significant step-up in scale. Oko West is projected to produce 353,000 ounces of gold annually for 13 years, potentially more than doubling the company's output. With an estimated NPV5 of $1.4 billion at a gold price of $1,950 per ounce, this project offers substantial value creation potential for shareholders.Further expanding its project pipeline, GMIN recently acquired the Gurupi CentroGold project in Brazil from BHP. This strategic acquisition provides the company with a high-quality resource base of 1.7 million ounces of indicated resources and 0.6 million ounces of inferred resources, along with significant exploration upside across a 1,900 square kilometer land package.A key differentiator for GMIN is its team's expertise in project development and execution. The company emphasizes thorough planning, risk management, and community engagement in its approach to project development. This focus on responsible development not only aligns with increasing ESG considerations in the mining sector but also helps mitigate operational risks.GMIN has outlined a clear growth strategy aimed at becoming a million-ounce annual gold producer. The company plans to achieve this through a combination of optimizing production at TZ, developing Oko West, advancing studies and exploration at Gurupi, and potentially pursuing strategic acquisitions. The current macroeconomic environment provides a supportive backdrop for GMIN's growth plans. High gold prices, driven by inflationary pressures, geopolitical uncertainties, and economic concerns, are enhancing the economics of the company's projects. As CEO Gignac notes, "We never expected to be producing gold at these prices when we did our planning. So that's a sweet spot and ideal timing for us to be completing a project."For investors, GMIN offers exposure to a growth-oriented gold mining company with a diversified project portfolio at various stages of development. The company's successful execution at Tocantinzinho, the significant potential of Oko West, and the long-term opportunities presented by the CentroGold project create a compelling investment case. However, potential investors should also consider the risks inherent in mining development, including possible cost overruns, permitting challenges, and gold price volatility. Despite these considerations, GMIN's experienced management team, focus on efficient execution, and clear growth strategy position the company as an attractive option for those seeking exposure to the gold mining sector with substantial upside potential.View G Mining Venture's company profile: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/companies/g-mining-venturesSign up for Crux Investor: https://cruxinvestor.com

With almost a decade of experience securing copyrights for artists & rightsholders, Cosynd identified that music producers were being potentially priced out of registering their backlog of work with the U.S. Copyright Office. This led them to develop a new group registration service, allowing producers to save time & money by registering groups of beats and other musical elements instead of individually registering each element. We spoke with Cosynd CEO, Jessica Sobhraj about this new initiative, the company's mission of supporting creators' legal protections, the importance of registering music with the Copyright Office, and much more!

In this episode of Power Women In Insurance, Teresa Kitchens sits down with Kaleigh Kitchens, Sales Executive at Sterling Insurance Group. Kaleigh and Teresa have a series chronicling her first year in the insurance industry. She was licensed in Feb 2022 and she is at the halfway point of her State Auto Commercial Training Program. They discuss her struggles, the challenges of working with family, and the experience of being a remote producer in a virtual agency. Episode Highlights: Kaleigh shares the highlights of her first year in the insurance industry. (2:55) Kaleigh mentions that each generation handles relationships, especially business relationships, differently, and adapting that in her role has been interesting. (5:06) Kaleigh shares her strategy for handling everything she had to accomplish for her CLCS exam, as well as how she digests all of the information, knowledge, and particularly the insurance terminology. (8:28) Kaleigh believes that the Auto State program has significantly helped her in building confidence and in her ability to communicate with a business owner. (11:54) Kaleigh explains that schedule blocking has helped her become more comfortable with her personal and professional schedules, allowing her to be more productive while working remotely for the agency. (20:14) Kaleigh discusses the most difficult aspect of her first year in the industry and how she dealt with it. (31:27) Kaleigh explains that understanding what keeps the client up at night is important because it lets you get out of your own way and have a good conversation with clients. (35:31) Kaleigh mentions that now that she's halfway through the State Auto program, she's thrilled to go more into marketing, the Chamber of Commerce, a little bit more outsourcing, and connecting with more young professionals in Denver. (40:14) Kaleigh discusses her most recent challenge and how having an icebreaker that isn't related to commercial insurance to first bring up with a business owner that adds value to them has been a game changer. (44:40) Kaleigh believes that the most significant developments in business right now are a wave of casualty, comfort, and a more natural relationship rather than the stereotypical suit and tie. (48:59) Kaleigh discusses the moment she made her first solid sale and how she felt about it. (51:18) Kaleigh discusses the importance of getting yourself ready and prepared for the day. (55:10) Key Quotes: “I'm not going to say I'm perfect. I'm not going to say I'm all-knowing by any means. I know probably 10% of each industry. But I wouldn't even know that 10% if it weren't for those steps that the state Auto Program put me through.” - Kaleigh Kitchens, CLCS “The industry itself is really robust and the fact that commercial lines specifically is working with countless other industries that you need to know the specialties of, and the ins and outs of in order to be a good agent for your client has forced me to be on top of my feet and to be aware of my surroundings and to take information in wherever I can.” - Kaleigh Kitchens, CLCS “Since I was virtual since I am also working with two different CRM systems through State Auto program and through Sterling, I feel like it just took me a while to get my butt into shape, just organize myself and figure out how to do so. And now that I figured that out, on top of the confidence of believing in myself, I feel like the possibilities are going to be limitless.” - Kaleigh Kitchens, CLCS Resources Mentioned: Kaleigh Kitchens, CLCS LinkedIn Contact Teresa Kitchens Sterling Insurance Group

The boys are back this week with a new episode of laughs. The DaleNotDale Podcast has gained a member to the show, John Manigold. Dale and Von welcome John to the podcast as the Visual Director. John knows that the position is unpaid but has room for advancement and an employee discount on DaleNotDale merch. In true fashion, Dale and Von veer off course or “fall out of the sky” as some might think and speak about being on a deserted island. Sit back and enjoy this “skin to skin” episode! If you're not tuning in LIVE to watch the Starving Comics' Quarantine show every Sunday at 7:00pm Eastern, then you're not living up to your full potential. Here's a sample of what you're missing! Comedian John Branyan plays ridiculous trivia games, creates animated short vids, and generally horses around with his friends in the entertainment industry. Meet Brian Apprille--voice impressionist and movie buff. Listen to John thomas Oaks--musician, composer, and Story-Teller Extraordinaire. And laugh at Juan DeVevo--dead pan King of One-Liners and founding member of Casting Crowns. On this episode of SCQS: Half the usual team is OUT OF TOWN. But Tabby is taking over the Producer's seat. And Brian Apprille is a very capable host. We're playing a game of Misheard Lyrics. Plus, a surprise appearance from someone who wasn't supposed to make it. We want you to come on vacation with our funny family and friends. For details about VACAY WITH COMICS 2023, visit johnbranyan.com
