This one is longer, so you don't have to do the same this week, but feel free!  TLDR: Loved it)   -I'm still processing, but this was maybe my favorite episode in years.  It mixed everything good about the older, mission-oriented episodes of Shield with all the threats and tools that have been piling up in the last few seasons.    -I like that they brought Souza in as an obstacle at first, but it'll be fun to hopefully have him allied with the team in later episodes.  The line "She couldn't stay with Rick; she had to go with Victor" really gave me vibes of what I'm sure Souza experienced when Cap showed up to get Peggy back - in whatever timeline that would've happened in.  I do like that he was on to Hydra infiltrating Shield all the way back here in '55, although I wonder if that means he was one of the Winter Soldier's earliest victims offscreen.    -Simmons getting her Agent Carter on was fun, and it makes sense that in this age where word of mouth was bigger than anything else, she would be able to get away with it until running into someone who actually knew Peggy.  She gets less and less robotic in every episode since the season 6 finale, but then again, Coulson isn't exactly robotic either, so I'm still Team-LMD-Fitzsimmons.   -Other things I enjoyed:        -Simmons finding out where in time they are with the radio.  Seems like something I would have done.        -the deeper look into the past's white supremacy and the line "stupid white privilege"        -the continued storyline of Daisy getting opportunities to destroy the organization that turned both her parents into monsters        -the aftereffects of season 6 on May and Yoyo        -the idea that EMPs are the best weapon against chronicoms (sidenote: AIDA had EMP-proof batteries even before Radcliffe got ahold of the Darkhold.  Why are the Chronicoms not as smart as Radcliffe?????)   All in all, it was a great and fun episode, and exactly the kind of content I wanted from this season.  Can't wait to see where the Coulson cliffhanger leads and how they get him back from Shield before that ripple turns into a wave.    Until next time, true believers.  Excelsior!   OUTRO [49:52]   Haley, Lauren, Michelle and Stargate Pioneer love to hear back from you about how you would rate the episode we just discussed, your top 5 Marvel character lists, your science of Marvel questions, who would you pick in an all-female Avenger team, or which Marvel male you would like to see shirtless. It could be "The Force of Gravity" that dooms the planet Earth. Daisy breaks free from the grasp and enslavement plans of Kasius Senior. Coulson and May manage to escape their prison with a little help from Deke. But they have to figure out a way to stop Quovas from launching his missiles to the Lighthouse. Good thing May hasn't forgotten how to fight. Back on Earth, the team sees footage of General Talbot absorbing the Absorbing Man himself. Trying to track him down is a little tricky until they realize that he wants to prove himself to his son. When they find him at his own house, the powers he's acquired appear to be unstoppable (much to the dismay of his wife and son) and Talbot gets away once more. All of our heroes are en route to rendezvous at the Lighthouse once more, but it seems that Coulson has an injury that is more serious than expected and it could leave either him or humanity itself in jeopardy. Jay and Josh are the hero of their own story on this week's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Case Files.

Use your "Inside Voices" if you try to escape from HYDRA. After Carl Creel tries to connect with the gravitonium, he confronts Coulson in his locked room, only to discover that General Talbot is being held too. Phil convinces him to get them all out, but they'll have to get past all the mechanical obstacles and General Hale's powerful daughter Ruby. They have a few tricks up their sleeves, but it may be fatal for Coulson. Daisy decides that the only one that can help them rescue the Director is their future-telling friend, Robin. But when they pick up the girl and her mother, she's not very open about what she knows. That is, until she sees May. As depressing as the future sounds, it may lead them to the boss. Back at the lighthouse, Simmons decides she needs Fitz out of his prison to help stop Hale's weapon. Yoyo agrees, but they have to get Mack to set him free. That's gonna take a little trickery, and a big gamble. Jay and Josh try to remember which glass they poured water in on this week's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Case Files.

"Rise and Shine" with your fellow HYDRA agents as we take a trip into General Hale's past. Twenty-eight years ago, Hale was a shining star in the ranks of HYDRA, but one decision led her down a path that would develop into the alien threat we have today. Daniel Whitehall chose a young Hale to be the mother of a perfect HYDRA soldier. Flash forward to Ruby. She and her mother seem to be all that is left of HYDRA and they try to convince General Talbot that they are fighting the good fight for all of humanity. Talbot is a tough nut to crack though. His loyalty will always be to his country, and refuses to work with those nasty squids! And that brings us to Coulson. He gets a similar HYDRA treatment to Talbot, but after hearing Hale's plan to protect us all from alien invaders and meeting a supposed alien ally, he's not buying it. He's seen the future and learned what this plan will lead to. He needs some rescuing, and whether they like it or not, the team may need to use Fitz to help them get there. Where would you go at the "World's End"? Radcliffe is helping YoYo to convince Mack to come back with her to the real world. The real world is struggling, with Aida doing her best to destroy SHIELD to show her displeasure with Fitz. And her creation has attracted the attention of Ghost Rider. He shows up to stop her and get the Darkhold back. Once Aida sends her LMDs to a meeting with General Talbot, with the intention of getting the world to hate Inhumans, the team has to go on the run. But they may have a few surprises for Aida when she catches up with them. Jay and Josh, with Special Agent Tim, make a few deals and and practice their misdirection on the season finale of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.- Case Files.

When you're being controlled by a powerful Inhuman, hellbent on destroying the world, you need some "Emancipation". Hive is using Daisy's blood to create primitive Inhumans. While she's being drained, she contacts Lincoln at SHIELD where he's being held in quarantine. He wants to get out, and she wants him to come to her. Meanwhile, General Talbot gets a tour of the SHIELD base, and isn't too thrilled about the way Inhumans seem to have the run of the place. He wants them to sign the Sokovia Accord to put them in check. To emphasize his point, Lincoln seemingly escapes. But it was all a ruse to send in a very Secret Warrior to attack Hive and rescue Daisy. Jay and Josh issue a proclamation that they are going on a beer run on this week's Case Files. Especially since it was not referred to again in the episode. No one really knows why she had the dream either.   Mack’s toy Lola comes just in time for the Christmas season. But will it convince Coulson to let Mack touch Lola – once he recovered from his exposure to whatever was at the bottom of the shaft plus the subsequent fall down that very same shaft! Wing really liked Mack but Stargate Pioneer is still hesitate about what exactly Mack is doing with Mockingbird.   Haley thinks that Mack and Bobbi are actually in another secret Marvel style organization like SWORD sent in to monitor Coulson and the remnants of S.H.I.E.L.D. in hiding. Last season Marvel did the bad secret organization. Haley thinks that this season Marvel wants to do the good organization so not to be too silly.   Also, Bobbi Morris is being played as the evil spy agent but it will really turn out to be a Hydra brainwashed Simmons made by Bakshi and Whitehall to “comply.” Haley also thinks that the S.W.O.R.D. type organization will be involved in Avengers 2 as well.   Haley also thinks that Bobbi and Lance Hunter will breakup and that is the oncoming storm that Mack was referring to.   Haley and Jay were pleased to see Trip with a more prominent role in this episode.   Everyone loves Evil May (Agent 33) and her scar / damaged face mask.   The Skye-Agent 33 fight wasn’t exactly the quality of the May-Agent 33 fight but it was still a good addition to the show. And reminiscing about May without her dress was tops on everyone’s mind.   Haley was disappointed that Skye didn’t shoot Ward in his foot on The Bus.   Why was Raina not in the interrogation room? Why did she have a lanyard?   Just how many Koenig brothers are out there? And they get all the cool toys wlike a cloak umbrella. Simmons seems more fancied with Trip. Haley also hopes that Fits is brought down the super villain path because it would be great for the story and bad for the feels. Wing thinks that killing Ward will be what turns Fitz to be a Villian.   Would Fitz been able to shoot Mack? And Is Mack Dead? No.   Stargate Pioneer is smitten with Mockingbird’s tasing batons.   Haley feels that Fury’s body count number would have been 3 million. Jay and Wing think it would have been much, much higher. Coulson is minor league here.   Where is General Talbot with Corporeal Mustache these days?   Stargate Pioneer wonders if Ward really killed his parents and brother or if it will lead us down yet another deceptive path.   Stargate Pioneer rants and raves about a “Cold War Frequencies.” There is no such thing. Haley says yes there is in Comic Book Science.   Haley jumps at the chance to talk about how awesome May is.   And why in the world does Skye willingly go with Ward?   Jay wants to see Oliver Queen from Arrow and Melinda May fight. And of course it would end up with them sleeping with each other. And Stargate Pioneer loved May hitting the Hydra guys with the van just like Felicity did in the penultimate Arrow Season 2 episode with Ravager.     Raina and Skye have very intense conversations.   Ward was not only being strategic taking Skye as a bargaining chip but also because how much he loved Skye. The @LegendsOfShield (Legends Of S.H.I.E.L.D.) Agents Lauren, Haley and Stargate Pioneer are joined for a third consecutive week by special guest Counsultant Agent Wing as they break down the sixth episode of the second Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. season A Fractured House! They also run down the amazing #MarvelEvent news, look deeper into the Avengers 2: Age Of Ultron teaser trailer, and run down all the awesome Legends Of S.H.I.E.L.D. feedback.   In this episode our hosts start off by talking about seeing Natasha Romanoff being able to pick up Thor's "hammer," Agent Lauren trying to "slip" it in (Wing saying Doctor Ewww...err...Doctor Who), Lauren drops some comic book knowledge about who really is capable of lifting Thor's Hammer (Captain America, Natasha Romanoff and Wonder Woman), Haley read her first comic from 1971 in her read from the beginning of Marvel (a really mediocre Captain America as it was),  each host looks forward to their favorite Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 3/4 movie and they talk about how impossible it is to even try and compare Marvel's film run to anything else in film history, Haley reports that she has not yet watched Top Gun or Skyfall, the hosts speculate on how Marvel will be able to do Ant Man and Inhumans, and they note that Spider-man is definitely a favorite character in everyone's Marvel's top 5 characters.   In the news section starting at [21:02] the hosts continue to tally their quarter bets on the China Guardians Of The Galaxy box office numbers and giggle at Ghana's $4,800 box office number. Lauren brings up the movie with the worst box office return of all time - Zyzzyx Rd with Tom Seizemore and Katherine Heigl at $30. Just about EVERYONE is more excited for Agent Carter than Avengers 2: Age Of Ultron. Haley and Stargate Pioneer are looking forward to Captain Marvel. Lauren is intrigued by Infinity Wars. They all speculate on who exactly is it in the Hulk Buster Iron Man Suit. Lauren tells us about Seanan McQuire's Velveteen Versus series and her Superhero Bitch Fight. Also, Lauren's favorite character is Pixie (Megan Gwynn) and she tells us that she was a VERY violent child. Will Civil War really need Spider-man? Our answer is no but having Spider-man around would definitely be a great addition to the MCU. Thanks to ComicAlliance.com we were able to see that there is only one potential crunch between all the comic book films from now to 2020 which is Captain America 3 and X-Men in May 2016.    The hosts talk about this week's amazing Agent's Of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode A Fractured Rose at [47:05]. We know now not to trust ANYBODY named Ward. Is Talbot a Kree or why didn't the Splinter Bomb dematerialize him? Haley brings up Mockingbird doing a twisty flippy thing through Hydra dust. Coulson's new coffee cup is an I Hate Monday's Grumpy Cat cup - and Trip probably was the one who brought it into work for May. Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. gets a Star Wars crossover with a T-Shirt. Bobbi Morse and Lance Hunter's bickering and fighting is fun to watch! And surprisingly Mockingbird stole the episode from May for Lauren and Haley. Fitz and Simmons continue to be painful to watch and we all desparately long for the days before Ward dropped them to the bottom of the ocean from an airplane. Everyone on the podcast doubts that Ward was let go in collaboration with S.H.I.E.L.D.. Haley names this episode's fight chorography as "May versus the Spiny Knife" and "Bobbi jumping through Hydra dust." And everyone was awed over the duel intense dialogues between Coulson and Senator Ward and Skye and "Basement Ward" (as named by Lauren). Agents Walters is definitely an Agent Red Shirt as per Haley. Lauren labels S.H.I.E.L.D. as Chaotic Good while General Talbot is Lawful Good. We all wonder who map tattoo guy is at the end. There's all sorts of "Two Weeks" quotes including The Money Pit which Lauren has never seen and Total Recall. Lauren, Haley and Wing teach everyone how to properly steep tea, which is NOT how it's done in the episode. And there is no good reason why Ward wasn't sedated for transport other than "Plot Requires" for Ward to escape. And NOBODY says "peacocking" anymore.
