Nicole Perlman burst onto the scene with 2014's Guardians of the Galaxy. She wrote the original screenplay for the film (which was a product of her work with the Marvel Writing Program) back in 2009. She's also cowriter on 2019's Captain Marvel; cowriting (with Alex Hirsch!) Detective Pikachu, a Pokemon feature film; writer on the Gamora ongoing comic from Marvel; and is attached to the upcoming "Hasbro Cinematic Universe" films. And that's just what she can talk about - even if only by scratching the surface.

It doesn't get much more hellish than the Transformers 5 trailer. Can we please end Bay's run, please? At least Matty's run is ending, but man they too are going out with a bang, in a bad way. Star Wars at least has what we hope is a shining light coming out this week in Rogue One.
