Note: The referenced Idaho Medical Freedom Bill, after being vetoed by Idaho Governor Brad Little, was revised and signed into law after the recording of this podcast. The law takes effect July 1, 2025. It protects individuals from being discriminated against based on their medical choices. This week on The Feds, we are joined by Sasha Latypova and Katherine Watt. Both are independent reporters and researchers. This week, we discuss the PREP Act, the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness Act, a law passed in 2005 used as the US government justification for all COVID-19 mandates. Sasha and Katherine discuss the inherently unconstitutional nature of the law, the ongoing legal efforts to skirt this law, recent Idaho legislation, and other measures that can be taken to return bodily autonomy rights to Americans. Katherine and Sasha point out that this law is treasonous, and give the reasons why. We also discuss how the COVID-19 emergency is still in effect until 2029 and perhaps why it hasn't been cancelled. Sasha Latypova is an independent writer and researcher. She spent 25 years of her professional career in healthcare technology, medical device and pharmaceutical R&D industries. Sasha has retired from pharma and currently writes a popular independent Substack publication Due Diligence and Art.Katherine Watt is a reporter, paralegal, wife and mother. In this episode of Out West, hear about the threat posed by invasive zebra and quagga mussels to western waterways, and understand the ongoing work to contain and eliminate this threat. We dive into recent detections of invasive mussels in the Snake River in Idaho and a stretch of the Colorado River in Colorado. Those detections sparked rapid and thorough responses to contain, monitor, and even eradicate these mussels. Over the course of the episode, WGA Policy Advisor Zach Nowak sits down with the experts and managers that are working to manage those detections and keep western lakes and rivers free of invasive mussels. You'll hear from Idaho Governor Brad Little, Idaho State Department of Agriculture Director Chanel Tewalt, Colorado Parks and Wildlife Invasive Species Program Manager Robert Walters, National Invasive Species Council Executive Director Stas Burgiel, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Aquatic Invasive Species Coordinator Barak Shemai, and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Aquatic Invasive Species Coordinator Theresa Thom.

A judge has ruled in favor of returning the remains of Joshua "J.J" Vallow to his family members. Despite Chad Daybell awaiting his trial in April 2024, both Lori Vallow Daybell and Chad Daybell's legal representatives had previously agreed to consumptive DNA testing in 2022, which exhaustively uses all remaining DNA and can only be performed once. The remains of J.J. and his sister, Tylee Ryan, have been held at Madison Memorial Hospital in Rexburg since authorities discovered their remains buried in Chad Daybell's Fremont County property on June 9, 2020. On October 12, 2023, Chad Daybell's attorney, John Prior, filed a Stipulation to Release, which Judge Steven Boyce signed on Monday, October 16, 2023. J.J.'s body has been in state custody since the discovery, while Tylee Ryan's remains will remain in state custody, with no known release date. Lori Vallow Daybell, the children's mother, has been convicted of murdering her two children and conspiring to murder Tammy Daybell. She is serving life sentences without the possibility of parole and faces additional charges in Arizona. Extradition papers from Arizona to Idaho were sent in August 2023, pending Idaho Governor Brad Little's approval to transfer Lori to Arizona. Currently, she is housed in the Women's Correctional Facility in Pocatello, Idaho. J.J. Vallow's grandparents issued a statement to KMVT: "These past few years have been filled with pain and grief as we've journeyed down this long and difficult path. We have waited and prayed for this day for so long and are immensely relieved that JJ will finally be laid to rest. In recent days, we have immersed ourselves in the memories of the love and happiness that JJ brought to our lives, and he continues to shine his light upon us. As we reflect on the joy that JJ filled our lives with, our hearts ache for all those who loved JJ and share in the profound grief and loss of this beautiful young boy. We are grateful for the love and support of all those who have come to love JJ, Tylee, and Charles. As we persist in our pursuit of justice, the dedication and strength we've received have helped carry us through this ordeal. We anxiously await news of when Tylee can also be laid to rest. Our greatest wish is for JJ and Tylee to be celebrated for the joy and love they brought into this world and for them to finally find peace in their rest. Only then will our hearts begin to heal. Memorial services will be announced at a later date." -Larry and Kay Woodcock Want to listen to ALL of our podcasts AD-FREE? Idaho Governor Brad Little, Ag AdvocateIdaho agriculture is so much more than potatoes. Farmers and ranchers in the state grow more than 185 different commodities and provide some $8.5 billion to the Idaho economy each year, including Brad Little, 33rd Governor of the Gem State.Little and his wife, Teresa, are the latest in a long line of cattle ranchers in the family. He said he's committed to helping agricultural producers in several ways, including ensuring they have sufficient water and manageable regulations.Little said innovation is one key to Idaho agriculture continuing to thrive.“Every change you make is to make it better for the next generation,” Little said. “One of my favorite sayings that I tell all my agricultural friends is ‘Change is inevitable. Adaptation and survival are optional.'”He added that, fortunately, farmers and ranchers in the state are very innovative and willing to adopt the latest technology to get the most from their crops and livestock. Little said, although only a small percentage of the state and nation farm, everyone benefits from agriculture.“So many people move to Idaho because of the farms, ranches and open space, and how it contributes to the watershed and wildlife habitat,” he remarked. “I love it when people show a picture of Idaho, and there are a couple of cows, potato field or grain field in the background. They appreciate that. We need to remind people that somebody's paying the cost of those cows and that agriculture out there. All we want is a fair return on our investment and a regulatory atmosphere to where they can be profitable from one generation to the next.”

It's Friday, November 11th, A.D. 2022. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. By Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) Muslim terrorists kill 3 in Congo, Africa In the Democratic Republic of Congo, Africa, the Muslim Allied Democratic Forces killed three people, including a one-month-old baby, in the early morning of November 9th, reports International Christian Concern. The Islamic terrorists looted and burned a hospital in the city of Kabasha along with several other shops and lit several vehicles on fire. One resident said, “We were woken up in the middle of the night by gunshots in the air and people screaming. We did not hesitate. We left the house and hid in the bushes, hoping they would not find us. The attack lasted almost an hour as the rebels ransacked shops and the health center and set them on fire. They also burnt down vehicles.” According to Open Doors, Congo is the 40th most dangerous country for Christians in the world. 2 Timothy 3:12 says, “All who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.” Pro-life, Republican Governors won re-election bids Some key Republican governors doubled down on their pro-life values and saw success at the polls on Tuesday, reports The Washington Stand. Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, Texas Governor Greg Abbott, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, and Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds each championed life from six weeks on by signing a heartbeat bill. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed into law protections for unborn life after 15 weeks. Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt signed HB 4327 this year, protecting life from conception. Alabama Governor Kay Ivey signed off on her state's Human Life Protection Act. New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu and Idaho Governor Brad Little signed into law protections for life after the unborn baby's viability at 24 weeks. Each one of those nine Republican governors, who signed key pro-life bills into law, won handily on Tuesday. Kari Lake, GOP candidate for Arizona Governor, is 100% confident Appearing on the Glenn Beck radio program, Kari Lake, the Republican candidate for Arizona Governor, said the Leftists are trying to control the narrative by counting the votes painfully slowly. LAKE: “I think what we've learned in the past several election cycles is that our election officials can control the narrative. It's real easy, by the amount of votes they release. That's what we have going on here. It's been politicized.” Lake said she was 100% confident that she will win the election when they finally count all the votes. LAKE: “We are going to win. I'm 100% confident in that! I'm looking right now at the latest numbers I got. There are 622,000 votes left to be counted here in Arizona, and they're slow rolling to count more than 24 hours past the election. Yesterday, they only counted just over 60,000 votes.” BECK: “How is that possible?” LAKE: “This is outrageous! They're doing this intentionally, in my opinion. They're not speeding this up as they should. And let me just tell you why we're going to win. “There are 384,414 Election Day mail-in ballot drop-offs. Now, these are the people who don't trust bringing it down and putting it in one of those drop boxes. These are the people who don't necessarily trust even the Postal Service with their mail-in ballot. They walked it into a polling place on Election Day.” BECK: “Wow!” LAKE: “We already know those are going to trend heavily toward us, two to one, maybe even three to one. There's a huge majority left to be counted there. “We also have 17,000 ‘Drawer Three.' Those were the ones who when they showed up at their polling place on Election Day, ‘Oh wow! The machines aren't working. Just put your ballot over here in Draw Number Three.' And we have a provisional ballots -- 16,000. These are ballots, the vast majority that are to be counted, that are going to go heavily to us. BECK: “Right.” LAKE: “And we know we're going to win this. They're trying to delay the inevitable. They wanted to write the obituary of the America First movement on election night.” Proof Democrats cheated in Pennsylvania It would appear, based on undercover footage captured by Project Veritas, that Democratic operatives were illegally electioneering in Pennsylvania, reports The Blaze. James O'Keefe, the founder, said this. O'KEEFE: “Project Veritas Action journalists were told who to vote for just mere feet outside a polling center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania today. This is referred to as electioneering.” The Philadelphia County election board states that no one is allowed to influence the vote within 10 feet to the entrance of a polling room where voting machines are located. O'KEEFE: “Not only are Democratic candidates' campaign materials posted at the door where the voting machines are located, watch as our undercover journalists are handed instructions on exactly how to vote within arm's reach of the door.” UNDERCOVER REPORTER: “So, you're telling me I should vote John Fetterman. I should vote Joshua Shapiro.” DEMOCRATIC OPERATIVE: “If you vote Democrat, all of them are the Democratics.” When the undercover Project Veritas reporter asked why he should vote a straight Democrat Party ticket, this is what the Democratic operative said within feet of the polling door illegally. DEMOCRATIC OPERATIVE: “These are more or less liberals who can help with the poor guy.” And he described Republicans, including Mehmet Oz, this way. DEMOCRATIC OPERATIVE: “I would say these are generally people trying to save their money.” Fetterman emerged with 50.3 percent of the vote, defeating Oz by three percentage points. It's difficult to know how much of this illegal electioneering swayed voters on the fence. Proverbs 11:1 says, “The LORD detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favor with Him.” Zuckerberg fired 13% of Facebook staff And finally, hours after Meta, the parent company of Facebook, announced it was laying off 13% of its staff, CEO Mark Zuckerberg addressed employees virtually on Wednesday around 1:00pm Eastern, reports CNBC. A Meta employee, who was fired, provided this video to NBC News. ZUCKERBERG: “I take full responsibility for this decision. I'm the founder and CEO. I'm responsible for the health of our company, for our direction, and for deciding how we execute that, including things like this. This was ultimately my call. One of the hardest calls that I've had to make in the 18 years of running the company.” Shares of Meta plunged 24.5% on October 27th as investors and analysts digested the company's third-quarter earnings miss and a weak fourth-quarter outlook. Shares closed at $97.94, the lowest price since 2016. By contrast, on September 7, 2021, Meta's stock price hit $382. This week's top story: We discuss how fraudsters are increasingly targeting digital accounts by compromising existing or creating fake new accounts – a surge of nearly 70% so far this year. Also this week, Idaho Governor Brad Little has set up a new task force to advance cybersecurity initiatives in the state, and has invited Kount's Brad Wiskirchen to be one of the members. We also discuss how Citi Premier's offer of 80,000 bonus loyalty points also creates opportunity for fraudsters, how businesses can protect their customers (and themselves) from online fraud, and how bad bots are creating click fraud, and the risks this poses to e-commerce businesses. #Kount5in5

Welcome to Majority.FM's AM QUICKIE! Brought to you by justcoffee.coop TODAY'S HEADLINES: Republican state legislators across the country are passing laws to micromanage the history that gets taught in schools and make it seem like racism doesn’t exist. For some reason the party of bigoted white men is touchy about this particular subject. Meanwhile, forecasters are predicting another year of intense storms and wildfires. So it’s rather concerning that FEMA’s workforce is reportedly stretched to the breaking point. And lastly, after eleven days of fighting, Israel has agreed to a ceasefire in Gaza. The work of rebuilding is urgent, as Palestinian medical facilities are overwhelmed. THESE ARE THE STORIES YOU NEED TO KNOW: The curriculum wars continue. CBS News reports that this month, Idaho Governor Brad Little became the first Republican governor to sign into law a bill that restricts educators from teaching a concept called critical race theory. And more could follow: Nearly a dozen states have introduced similar Republican-backed bills that would direct what students can and cannot be taught about slavery in American history and the ongoing effects of racism. But critics say the legislation isn’t aimed at what children are learning in the classroom. Idaho’s law prohibits teaching that individuals are responsible for actions committed in the past by other members of the same sex, race, religion, et cetera. A proposal in Rhode Island would prevent teaching that the United States is fundamentally racist or sexist. However, proponents of critical race theory say it does not teach that any race is inherently racist, but how race is ingrained in our history. Jazmyne Owens, of the think tank New America, told CBS that the wave of legislation is; "aimed at erasing and whitewashing American history." For example, Owens pointed to a Texas bill that just passed in the state's House that bans discussion of privilege and white supremacy. The state bills have similar goals as two executive orders Donald Trump introduced, one that called for patriotic education and a one that sought to ban diversity training for federal workers. President Joe Biden has revoked both. But at this rate, Republicans will soon be pushing to ban schools entirely. FEMA Workers Are Exhausted This report on essential worker burnout comes from the New York Times. Workers from the Federal Emergency Management Agency have been scouting shelters for migrant children. They’ve been running coronavirus vaccination sites in Colorado, Massachusetts and Washington. And they are still managing the recovery from a string of record disasters starting with Hurricane Harvey in 2017. On the cusp of a destructive season of hurricanes and wildfires, just thirty eight hundred of the agency’s nearly fourteen thousand emergency workers are available now to respond to a new disaster. That’s twenty nine percent fewer than were ready to deploy at the start of last year’s hurricane period. FEMA has seldom been in greater demand – becoming a kind of 911 hotline for some of President Biden’s most pressing challenges. And the men and women who have become the nation’s first responders are tired. Deanne Criswell, Biden’s pick to run the agency, identified employee burnout as a major issue during her first all-hands FEMA meeting, according to Steve Reaves, president of the union local that represents employees. According to the Times, the shortage is severe for some categories of workers. Among the agency’s senior leadership, just three out of fifty three are currently available to deploy. Other specialized personnel have less than fifteen percent of their workers available. In interviews, current and former FEMA employees described twelve-hour days, canceled vacations, and not enough time to recover between assignments. Sounds like they should hire and train more staff and create some good-paying government jobs. Gaza Ceasefire Takes Effect At last, a breather. Al-Jazeera reports that Israel and Hamas agreed to a ceasefire yesterday to halt eleven days of fighting in the Gaza Strip. A statement from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said the security cabinet had unanimously accepted an Egyptian initiative for an unconditional ceasefire. Palestinian groups Hamas and Islamic Jihad then confirmed the ceasefire in a statement. At least two hundred and thirty two Palestinians, including sixty five children, have been killed. On the Israeli side, twelve people, including two children, have been killed. Following the announcement of a ceasefire, Egypt’s representative at the United Nations announced to member states that it will fund efforts to rebuild Gaza. And there is much rebuilding to be done. According to the Associated Press, the Gaza Strip’s already feeble health system has been brought to its knees. Hospitals have been overwhelmed with waves of dead and wounded from Israel’s bombardment. Many vital medicines are rapidly running out in the tiny, blockaded coastal territory, as is fuel to keep electricity going. Two of Gaza’s most prominent doctors, including the Number Two in Gaza’s coronavirus task force, were killed when their homes were destroyed during barrages. Just as Gaza was climbing out of a second wave of coronavirus infections, its only virus testing lab was damaged by an airstrike and has been shut. Health officials fear further outbreaks among tens of thousands of displaced residents crowded into makeshift shelters after fleeing massive barrages. And absolutely none of this needed to happen. AND NOW FOR SOME QUICKER QUICKIES: The Wall Street Journal reports that prosecutors in the case of three former Minneapolis police officers charged with abetting Derek Chauvin in the murder of George Floyd told an appellate court yesterday they are considering adding a third-degree murder charge against the three men. Tou Thao, J. Alexander Kueng and Thomas Lane are expected to stand trial next March. They could have stopped Chauvin, but didn’t. According to the Houston Chronicle, Texas Governor Greg Abbott on Wednesday signed legislation that bans abortion as early as six weeks into pregnancy and, in a first, would give nearly any Texan the ability to sue providers who they believe have broken the law. It is one of the most restrictive abortion bans in the nation and is certain to face legal challenges. Strike it down on the double! The Intercept reports that the Department of Homeland Security will be shutting down the controversial immigration prison in Georgia where dozens of women were subjected to nonconsensual gynecological procedures, including hysterectomies. The Irwin County Detention Center in Ocilla, Georgia, run by LaSalle Corrections, was the focus of criticism last fall when a nurse alleged pervasive medical misconduct. Good riddance. The Guardian reports that relations between the US and Russia have taken a tentative step forward after the Kremlin welcomed a decision by the Biden administration not to impose sanctions on a Russian pipeline delivering gas to Germany. Germany’s chancellor, Angela Merkel, also reacted positively. Let’s everybody just hug it out, okay?
