It's Friday, May 2nd, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 125 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Pakistan's record 344 blasphemy cases against Islam A human rights watchdog group chronicled a record 344 new so-called “blasphemy” cases in the 96 percent-Muslim country of Pakistan in 2024, highlighting increased abuse of the country's condemned blasphemy laws, reports Morning Star News. The top three categories include “hurting of religious sentiments,” “desecration of the Quran,” and “disrespecting [their false prophet] Muhammad.” Of the 344 new blasphemy cases, 70 percent of the accused were Muslims, 6 percent were Christians, 9 percent Hindus, and 14 percent Ahmadis, according to the Annual Human Rights Observer report issued by the Center for Social Justice. Between 1994 and 2024, the report stated that at least 104 persons in Pakistan accused of so-called “blasphemy” were executed extra-judicially. Mike Waltz out as National Security Adviser Mike Waltz is out as President Donald Trump's national security adviser and is instead his new nominee for ambassador to the United Nations in a major shake-up of Trump's national security team, reports USA Today. On May 1, Trump said that Waltz was leaving his White House post, confirming a departure that was reported hours earlier amid the continued fallout after Waltz accidentally invited a journalist into a messaging chat in which top national security officials discussed plans for Yemen airstrikes. United States and Ukraine sign rare earth metals agreement On April 30th, the United States and Ukraine finally signed the minerals deal that was delayed by the now-infamous Oval Office exchange between the U.S. and Ukrainian presidents two months ago, reports The Epoch Times. With China continuing to tighten its grip on critical minerals after the imposition of U.S. tariffs, control of so-called “rare earth metals”—essential for the production of electric vehicles, wind turbines, and smartphones—is becoming ever more important. One challenge is that 20 percent of Ukraine's mineral resources, including about half its rare earth elements deposits, are in areas under Russian occupation. The agreement stipulates that future American military assistance to Ukraine will count as part of the U.S. investment into the fund, rather than calling for reimbursement for past assistance. Jewish author David Horowitz, defender of Christians, has died On April 29th, conservative Jewish author David Horowitz died at the age of 86, reports NewsMax.com. His story is one of a self-proclaimed former Marxist who had "second thoughts" on Leftist ideology and became a conservative stalwart and a fierce defender of religion and President Donald Trump. In fact, Trump used the title of Horowitz's book Final Battle: The Next Election Could Be the Last to make it a prevailing theme in hundreds of Trump campaign rallies leading up to his 2024 re-election. In Final Battle, Horowitz had predicted the leftists, so fearful of Trump's return to the White House, would stop at nothing, including indictments against the former president. The effort backfired, as Trump's campaign raised millions off the indictments and would ultimately knock out the Biden family dynasty and defeat replacement candidate Kamala Harris in the 2024 election. Horowitz's books often dealt with his conversion to become a Republican during Reagan's administration, the fight from the Left against religion, and the Left's seeking to destroy America. A practicing Jew, Horowitz said one of the most important books he wrote was entitled Dark Agenda: The War to Destroy Christian America—which detailed the Left's war on Christianity, which, he warned, would lead to making the religion illegal and open for persecution. Psalm 27:1 should be the guiding verse of all Christians who are persecuted worldwide. “The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?” Companies bolt from Homosexual Pride Month And finally, two years after transgender Dylan Mulvaney's catastrophic undoing of Bud Light, June's over-the-top sexual perversion celebration—at least as a wholesale business concept—is dead, reports The Washington Stand. For most CEOs, it's been a year of unprecedented realignment. Dozens of major brands are following up on their commitments to drop Diversity Equity Inclusion, and leftist political causes, prompting them to drop sponsorships of June's marquee events. The first warning shots were fired in March, when organizers of the San Francisco Homosexual Pride Parade confessed that they were having trouble hanging on to corporate sponsors. The signature event in America's Homosexual-Transgender Paradise has already lost $300,000! Among those who pulled back were big-time names like Comcast, Anheuser-Busch, and Guinness/Smirnof. Plus, at major Homosexual-Transgender Pride events across New York City, St. Louis, and Washington, D.C., gun-shy businesses are running for the exits. According to the Wall Street Journal, Mastercard, PepsiCo, Nissan, Citibank, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Darcars Automotive Group are opting out of major sponsorships altogether. Most businesses are even asking to have their names and logos removed “from official displays and apparel.” More executives have decided it's financial suicide to team up in any meaningful way with June's in-your-face celebration. In fact, 39 percent of corporate leaders plan to decrease their observance of Homosexual-Transgender Pride this year, according to Gravity Research. The result? A massive shortfall in funds for Homosexual Pride-fests on both coasts. Bloomberg noted six in ten “point to President Donald Trump's policies regarding transgenderism and diversity, equity and inclusion as a driver. Almost 40% of all firms raised concerns over criticism from conservatives and customers.” Appearing on Washington Watch, Will Hild, executive director of Consumers' Research, is delighted. HILD: “I couldn't have asked for more. It's been such an incredible whirlwind of pushback and Executive Orders on the entire DEI-grift complex. So, I think it's been fantastic. We've seen what this is doing to the federal government, but I'm hopeful over the next 100 days, we're going to start to see this trickle through to the for-profit sector, the corporate sector.” Hild had a word for Christians and conservatives as well. HILD: “I think conservatives tend to only think of their power being in terms of their wallet. In other words, if they don't like a company, what they're doing, they just won't shop there. “They spend millions upon millions of dollars trying to figure out why people shop at Target or Walmart or go to a different place. It's a lot easier when you send an email or call somebody and say, ‘I don't appreciate this thing.' We saw this with Target. We saw this with Budweiser. It went viral on social media. “Say something both to the company and say something on social media because they track that kind of thing. So, I would say, use both your wallet and use your voice.” Sign up to receive a weekly text message from Consumers' Research that will alert you to a different woke company which you can email or call. Ephesians 5:11 says, “Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Friday, May 2nd, in the year of our Lord 2025. Subscribe for free by Amazon Music or by iTunes or email to our unique Christian newscast at www.TheWorldview.com. It's Monday, April 21st, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 125 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com.  I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus New law criminalizes praying with someone about gender, sexuality identity On April 4, the Australian state of New South Wales began enforcing a new law criminalizing anti-conversion therapy, which now includes praying with someone about their gender or sexual identity and even encouraging abstinence for homosexual Christians, reports International Christian Concern. On the website “Anti-Discrimination New South Wales,” a government body that administers and investigates anti-discrimination, they note that “praying with or over a person with the intent to change or suppress their sexuality or gender identify is unlawful … even if that person has asked you to pray for them to be able to change or suppress their sexuality or gender identity.”  The law – known as the New South Wales's Conversion Practices Ban Act 2024 -- is part of a trend of laws that seek to outlaw so-called “conversion therapy,” the clinical practice of helping someone embrace their God-given sexuality and gender. What makes the law different is how broadly “conversion therapy” is defined beyond a traditional clinical setting.   In an interview with The Washington Stand, Arielle Del Turco, director of the Center for Religious Liberty at the Family Research Council, said, “This is a terrible new law in this Australian state, and they aren't even trying to hide it. According to the state government's own admission from their website, this law will prevent a pastor or any believer from praying with someone who is asking for prayer for freedom from gender identity issues.”  Genesis 1:27 says, "So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them." Italy's top court scraps ‘mother' and ‘father' on ID cards Italy's Supreme Court of Cassation has restored the use of “Parent 1” and “Parent 2” on Italian ID cards because it deemed that calling parents ‘father' and ‘mother' is discriminatory against homosexual couples, reports the European Conservative. To her credit, conservative Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni had announced the return of the terms “father” and “mother” on identity documents back in 2023. Supreme Court blocks deportation of illegal Venezuelans On Saturday, the Supreme Court temporarily blocked the Trump administration from deporting an unspecified number of illegal Venezuelan men, currently in immigration custody, who are alleged to be members of a criminal gang, reports The Epoch Times. The order was issued after the American Civil Liberties Union filed an emergency request on behalf of its Venezuelan clients late on April 18 asking the Supreme Court to immediately block the Trump administration from deporting the clients. On March 14th, President Donald Trump signed Proclamation 10903, in which he officially declared that Tren de Aragua, a designated foreign terrorist organization, “is perpetrating, attempting, and threatening an invasion or predatory incursion against the territory of the United States.” The president invoked the Alien Enemies Act to authorize the “immediate apprehension, detention, and removal” of members of the group who are Venezuelan citizens 14 years of age or older and who are not U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents of the United States. Democrats want to visit El Salvador's prison housing deported illegals Democrats in both chambers of Congress are working to organize delegations to El Salvador to see the prison where President Trump is sending these violent illegal immigrants. Initially, El Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele built the prison in 2022 as part of a response to surging gang violence in El Salvador, according to National Public Radio. Each cell can fit 65 to 70 prisoners, and the prison has a capacity of 40,000 inmates.  Trump asked Bukele to build five identically-sized prisons to receive more violent illegal immigrants from America. The deported Venezuelan illegals are living in the same conditions as convicted gangsters. Democrat Representatives Delia Ramirez (D-Ill.), Robert Garcia (D-Calif.) and Maxwell Frost (D-Fla.) as well as Democrat Senator Cory Booker (D-N.J.) are the politicians who want to fly to El Salvador. However, House Homeland Security Committee chair Mark Green, a Republican from Tennessee, said he wouldn't grant their request, reports Axios. CNN conservative commentator Scott Jennings explained that this kind of move by the Democrats is why they only have a 21% approval rating by the American public. JENNINGS: “First of all, I'm more than happy to hear the Congressman say they're all going to El Salvador. I think for Republicans, this just confirms what we have believed about the Democratic Party and why it currently has a 21% approval rating in Congress. “Look where the energy in the Democratic Party is. It's around retrieving illegal aliens from El Salvador. It's around fighting for these college campuses that have been rife with anti semitism. It's around biological males who want to play in girls' sports. “This is why they are losing to Donald Trump every day, because the energy that Democrats feel comes on all these issues that are fundamentally not where the American people are.” Rahm Emmanuel wants to run for President In the world of politics, Democrat Rahm Emanuel has done a lot. Not only did he serve as President Bill Clinton's Senior Advisor for policy and strategy and as U.S. Congressman from Illinois for three terms, but Emmauel was President Barack Obama's White House Chief of Staff, served as mayor of Chicago, and most recently was the United States ambassador to Japan. Now, Rahm Emmanuel wants to be president. In a recent speech, he said, “I am done with the discussion of locker rooms. I am done with the discussion of bathrooms. We better start having a conversation about the classroom,” drawing applause as he alluded to a new study showing more than two-thirds of eighth graders can't read at grade level. Texas House greenlights $210 million to support pregnant women To hear it from abortion activists, pro-life Americans don't care about women and children – especially after banning abortions. But in the state of Texas that notion is totally false, reports LifeNews. On April 11th, Texas lawmakers gave preliminary approval to $210 million in support for pregnant moms. Texas Right to Life explained, “The Texas House voted to fully fund life-saving nonprofits at $210 million in the Thriving Texas Families program. These providers help mothers choose Life by offering baby materials (like diapers and formula), counseling, and job skills training. This victory isn't about dollars. It's about the children and families rescued from abortion.” Jeremiah 1:5 says, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Monday, April 21st, in the year of our Lord 2025. Subscribe for free by Amazon Music or by iTunes or email to our unique Christian newscast at www.TheWorldview.com. We are once again donning our tin foil hats here at Outstanding as host Joseph Backholm is joined by The Washington Stand’s Jared Bridges and Family Research Council’s Matt Carpenter to analyze and guide listeners on how one can think biblical about conspiracy theories. Did the government generate Hurricane Milton and Helene? What is the difference between cynicism and conspiracy? While many conspiracy theorists are in search of knowledge and truth, as believers we can rest assured knowing our truth is in Christ and we will never fully know everything in this life.

Everybody is a role model. We put some much into this that I've thought a lot about it. We are models, all of us. People watch us. A big brother, a little sister, whatever you are, you're being watched. [X] SB – Kamala Harris on being a role model First woman AG DA Color AG First first first. It's tough. I enjoyed watching as Harris waited for the onlookers to applaud or somehow give her recognition for accomplishing nothing. It's awkward to watch, and happens around 0:16. It's like the teleprompter read: "Wait for applause". When the applause didn't happen, Harris declared, "It's tough", and she began to show the beginning of the cackle. But she caught herself. She then declared, "Being in the role model club means being in a room where you may be the only person who has had the experiences you've had." Harris wanted an award but failed to recognize that every person in that room had their "firsts". Certainly no one can relate to her unique experiences, though many women have slept their way into power. Still, we are unique individuals and thus can not share in others' unique experiences. Nevertheless, we can know anecdotally how certain thing feel.      If there is no cheating happening, then how are we getting so many wins for election integrity? Undated and misdated mail-in ballots cannot be counted in Pennsylvania, the state Supreme Court says, vacating a lower court's ruling on jurisdictional grounds. The ruling risks disenfranchisement for thousands of voters in the swing state. Arizona found 100,000 voters registered who shouldn't have been.       2 million illegal voters   https://washingtonstand.com/news/15-to-27-million-illegals-likely-to-vote-in-2024-experts Do you plan to vote this November? You're not alone. Experts say somewhere between 1.5 million and 2.7 million illegal immigrants are likely to cast a ballot in the 2024 elections, impacting races from dog catcher to president of the United States. The historic flood of illegal immigrants during the Biden-Harris administration has also padded voter rolls, thanks to controversial federal legislation from the Clinton administration. If illegal immigrants and other noncitizens vote in the same proportion as in previous U.S. elections, the number will range anywhere from one-and-a-half to nearly three million votes. “A 2014 academic journal found that https://www.justfacts.com/news_non-citizen_voter_registration voted in 2008,” Kerri Toloczko, executive director of https://whoscounting.us/ and senior advisor to the https://www.onlycitizensvotecoalition.com/, told The Washington Stand. “There are about https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2024/07/22/key-findings-about-us-immigrants/#:~:text=The%20U.S.%20foreign%2Dborn%20population,13.8%25%20of%20the%20U.S.%20population. in the U.S. right now. If they voted only at the same rate of 6.4% this year as they did in 2008, they would account for 1.5 million votes.”That ponderous number of unlawful votes may just be the tip of the iceberg. “Based on the increased noncitizen activity at state DMVs, and the work of left-wing voter registration activists, this 6.4% could be much higher than it was in 2008. We could be looking at over two million unlawful noncitizen votes,” she told TWS. Her estimate largely dovetails with a previous study showing https://washingtonstand.com/news/study-up-to-27-million-noncitizens-are-likely-to-vote-illegally-in-november are likely to vote in the 2024 election. The author of that study — https://www.justfacts.com/james.d.agresti, the president and cofounder of the think tank and fact-check website https://www.justfacts.com/ — confirmed to TWS that “the most comprehensive, transparent, and rigorous https://www.justfacts.com/news_non-citizen_voter_registration on this matter found that about two to five million noncitizens are illegally registered to vote, and aggressive attempts to debunk the study have https://www.justfactsdaily.com/critics-fail-to-debunk-explosive-study-on-illegal-voting-by-non-citizens.” Opponents of election integrity laws minimize the problem by claiming it is already illegal for foreigners to vote in U.S. elections. But, unlike other purported threats, the problem truly holds the power to undermine our democracy, election experts say. “The Left likes to use phrases like, ‘It's not that widespread,'” Toloczko observed. “But how many does a moral relativist uninterested in upholding the law think is too many?” And “if every unlawful vote cancels out the vote of a lawful citizen voter, how many of those are acceptable?” Would two million unlawful votes be “enough to possibly make a difference in House and Senate races, and even the presidency?” she asked. “You bet.” Agresti noted that “the claim that noncitizens rarely vote is based on studies with absurd methodologies. For example, they measure the prevalence of this crime by merely https://www.justfactsdaily.com/politifact-deceptive-report-on-illegal-voting-by-non-citizens#enforcement for it.” This is “ridiculous,” Agresti told TWS. He compared the statistic to measuring the number of Americans who illegally use narcotics “based on guilty pleas and verdicts. The same applies to any other law that isn't strictly enforced, like driving above the speed limit.” The House of Representatives released a https://mikejohnson.house.gov/uploadedfiles/save_act_white_paper.pdf in June documenting illegal immigrants voting in the United States. Under current law, 17 cities in California, Maryland, and Vermont as well as the District of Columbia allow noncitizens to vote. While the noncitizens are supposed to vote only in local elections, “mistakes” have been reported. Toloczko highlighted documented cases of foreigners illegally voting in U.S. elections. “The federal government https://www.ice.gov/news/releases/19-aliens-charged-voter-fraud-north-carolina-following-ice-investigation a group of noncitizens from 15 different countries on federal voting charges. https://gov.texas.gov/news/post/governor-abbott-announces-over-1-million-ineligible-voters-removed-from-voter-rolls recently purged 6,500 noncitizens from its voter rolls — 30% of whom had voting records,” Toloczko told TWS, expressing similar thoughts in https://stream.org/the-debate-americans-are-not-having/. Illegal immigration impacts U.S. elections in a second way: Counting noncitizens in the U.S. Census redistributes https://cis.org/Report/Impact-Legal-and-Illegal-Immigration-Apportionment-Seats-US-House-Representatives-2020 and, with them, their Electoral College votes which elect the president, a team of immigration scholars found. America's teeming illegal immigrant population gives additional congressional seats to California (3), Texas (2), New York, New Jersey, and Florida (one each); and it takes seats away from Alabama, Idaho, Michigan, Missouri, Minnesota, Ohio, Rhode Island, and West Virginia (one seat each). Illegal immigrants alone transfer one seat each from Ohio, Alabama, and Minnesota to California, Texas, and New York, the study from the Center for Immigration Studies found. House Republicans have sought to address the problem by passing a number of border security and election integrity measures, including the https://www.congress.gov/bill/118th-congress/house-bill/8281 (H.R. 8281), which would require local election officials to verify someone's U.S. citizenship status before registering that person to vote. It passed the House of Representatives in July. “States are prohibited from requiring documentary proof of U.S. citizenship” thanks to court interpretations of the 1993 National Voter Registration Act (https://www.justice.gov/crt/national-voter-registration-act-1993-nvra), Rep. Andy Barr (R-Ky.) told Fox Business show “Mornings with Maria” on Tuesday. “Democrats who vote against that show what they are really up to: that they want noncitizens to vote and rig our elections.” Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-La.) has called the bill's passage “https://washingtonstand.com/news/a-generationdefining-moment-house-passes-save-act-to-protect-election-integrity.” Johnson favors https://washingtonstand.com/news/sorely-needed-speaker-johnson-may-attach-save-act-to-govt-funding-bill the election integrity bill to a must-pass continuing resolution to keep the government funded past the end of the fiscal year on September 30 and avert a government shutdown. Yet Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) has declared the bill dead on arrival in the Senate. “What is he afraid of?” asked Senator Deb Fischer (R-Neb.) on Tuesday morning on Fox Business. The underlying numbers behind the 1.5 to 2.7 million noncitizen vote count may undercount the extent of the problem. Yale University researchers estimated the size of the U.S. illegal immigrant population at https://insights.som.yale.edu/insights/yale-study-finds-twice-as-many-undocumented-immigrants-as-previous-estimates in https://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0201193, before the Biden-Harris administration enacted border policiBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-kevin-jackson-show--2896352/support.

It's Monday, August 26th, A.D. 2024. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 125 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com.  I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus China and North Korea work together to persecute Christians According to a new report, China continues to aid North Korea in its relentless persecution of Christians.  The United States Commission on International Religious Freedom recently published its findings on the alarming lack of religious freedom in North Korea and China's role in helping to spur it forward.  As North Korea shares a large border with China, many North Koreans flee persecution and travel to China in a desperate attempt to start new lives. It's a calculated risk that many make, hoping to find human kindness from Christian missionaries or others who will help them before authorities catch them. However, for many of these individuals, life remains bleak. Stories of human trafficking and maltreatment of North Korean refugees at the hands of Chinese authorities and organized crime rings are common.   According to Open Doors, North Korea is the most dangerous country worldwide in which to be a Christian and China is the 19th. In Matthew 5:10, Jesus said, "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven" Kamala Harris: Long on generalities, short on specifics Last Thursday night, despite the fact that Vice President Kamala Harris had not earned one vote for the Democratic presidential nomination, she said this at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, reports LifeSiteNews.com. HARRIS: “I accept your nomination to be President of the United States.” Her speech was long on philosophy and short on specifics. HARRIS: “Our nation, with this election, has a precious, fleeting opportunity to move past the bitterness, cynicism, and divisive battles of the past, a chance to chart a new way forward.” She took potshots at former President Donald Trump. HARRIS: “In many ways, Donald Trump is an unserious man, but the consequences of putting Donald Trump back in the White House are extremely serious. Just imagine Donald Trump with no guard rails, (boos) and how he would use the immense powers of the presidency of the United States.” Many Trump supporters simply point to his successful four-year record in maintaining peace abroad and lowering taxes at home. Since Kamala Harris is beholden to the abortion giant Planned Parenthood, she objected to any notion of even typical medical reporting and documentation of abortions in each state. HARRIS: “He plans to create a national anti-abortion coordinator and force states to report on women's miscarriages and abortions. (boos) Simply put, they are out of their minds.” And, using the euphemistically misleading reference to “reproductive freedom,” Harris committed to signing a codification of Roe v. Wade into law, report The Washington Stand. HARRIS: “And when Congress passes a bill to restore reproductive freedom, as President of the United States, I will proudly sign it into law.” (cheers and applause) Ironically, the Democratic National Convention video feed featured a baby held in the arms of her father, a delegate. Trump reacts to Kamala Harris DNC speech Former President Trump called into FOX News after Vice President Kamala Harris delivered her acceptance speech at the 2024 Democratic National Convention, reports RealClearPolitics.com. TRUMP: “Why didn't she do the things that she's complaining about? All of these things that she talked about -- we're going to do this, we're going to do that, we're going to do everything. But she didn't do any of it. She could have done it three and a half years ago. She could do it tonight by leaving the auditorium and going to Washington, DC and closing the border. “She doesn't need a bill. I didn't have a bill. I closed the border and created the safest border we've ever had in the history of our country. She was the Border Czar. She presided over the weakest border in the history of our country. She's got four and a half five months left.” Trump criticized Kamala Harris' refusal to address many of the real issues facing America. “She didn't talk about fracking. She didn't talk about crime. She didn't talk about housing. She didn't talk about child trafficking. She didn't talk about interest rates. I mean, the interest rates are now getting close to record rates. People can't do business. Nobody can borrow money. She didn't talk about any of that. “She's a Marxist. She always was. She always will be.” Ben Shapiro: Kamala Harris “owns this economy, this foreign policy” Conservative commentator Ben Shapiro was incredulous. SHAPIRO: “There's nothing there. It's all a lie. She's the Vice President of the United States. Inflation has been at 40-year highs. We're in the midst of two major world conflagrations -- one in the Middle East, one in Ukraine. Her administration has presided over both. “She was the last person in the room when the United States decided, under Joe Biden, to pull out of Afghanistan and leave them billions of dollars in U.S. military hardware, as well as abandoning thousands of U.S. allies to be murdered by the Taliban, as well as abandoning 19 million Afghan women to be stuffed back into bags and back into basements, as well as getting 13 American troops killed at Abbey Gate. “She owns this economy. She owns this foreign policy. She owns the social breakdown over which she has presided. But we're supposed to pretend that she is just brand-spanking new, just fresh out of the package. It's an audacious move. I will grant them that. It is audacious to take a woman who has been a senator from California, and the Vice President of the United States for the last three years, and pretend that she has had nothing to do with anything that is happening in the country right now!” Proverbs 12:22 says, “Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who act faithfully are His delight.” Robert F. Kennedy endorsed Trump for President On Friday, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. suspended his independent presidential bid and endorsed Donald Trump. KENNEDY: “Three great causes drove me to enter this race in the first place, primarily. And these are the principal causes that persuaded me to leave the Democratic Party and run as an independent, and now to throw my support to President Trump. The causes were free speech, a war in Ukraine, and the war on our children.” Trump offered him a possible Cabinet position, like Abraham Lincoln did of his presidential opponents in the 1860 election -- Attorney General Edward Bates, Treasury Secretary Salmon Chase, and Secretary of State William Seward. KENNEDY: “Now, one of the two candidates has adopted these issues as his own, to the point where he has asked to enlist me in his administration. I'm speaking of course, of Donald Trump. “We talked about Abraham Lincoln's Team of Rivals, that arrangement would allow us to disagree publicly and privately and furiously, if need be on issues over which we differ, while working together on the existential issues upon which we are in concordance.” Robert F. Kennedy Jr., once a proud Democrat in the tradition of his uncle, John F. Kennedy, and his father, Robert F. Kennedy, is now demonstrably disgusted with the Democratic Party. KENNEDY: “The DNC and its media organs engineered a surge of popularity for Vice President Harris based upon nothing, no policies, no interviews, no debates, only smoke and mirrors and balloons. I urge you to take 24 minutes and listen to the entirety of RFK, Jr's speech. It's worth your time. We have it linked through our transcript today at www.TheWorldview.com. Hugh Hewitt: RFK Jr's endorsement of Trump will help him win Appearing last Friday with Brett Baier on the Fox News program Special Report, radio host Hugh Hewitt weighed in on the importance of independent candidate for president Robert F. Kennedy Jr. endorsing former President Donald Trump. HEWITT: “Robert Kennedy Jr. endorsing Donald Trump is a big deal. And I don't care who says what about it. He had 2-5% in every battleground state. Most of that's gonna go to Donald Trump. 60-75% of that. It was a 44,000 vote election in 2020. So that is a very big deal.” Hewitt explained that Kennedy supporters would not find a home in the Kamala Harris campaign. HEWITT:  "A lot of the people who are supporting Bobby Kennedy have a great suspicion of the government, not just COVID, but just of the administrative state generally.  Those folks are not going to find a home with Kamala Harris, who is the child of big government California, San Francisco, Democrat land. “Although it's only 2 or 3 percent, we're talking about a toss-up. It's like the bank shot at the end of a basketball game. It matters. It matters a lot.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Monday, August 26th, in the year of our Lord 2024. Subscribe by Amazon Music or by iTunes or email to our unique Christian newscast at www.TheWorldview.com. It's Tuesday, July 9th, A.D. 2024. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus.  (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson Pro-lifer sentenced to 6 months in prison Pro-life activist Cal Zastrow has been sentenced to a 6-month prison sentence followed by three years of supervised release for singing hymns and praying in front of a door leading into the Carafem abortion mill in 2021 in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, just 17 miles east of Nashville, reports The Christian Post. Zastrow told the judge he has tried to live his life “under the Lordship of Jesus Christ” and that “children are a blessing from God.” He closed with Revelation 5:11-14.  U.S. District Judge Aleta Trauger pointed to Zastrow's religious fervor as the problem in her sentencing. Zastrow was one of six pro-lifers arrested in March 2021. Five other pro-life activists, who blocked a Washington D.C. abortion mill in 2020 have been convicted and sentenced to 2-5 years in prison.  As Zastrow indicated, Psalm 127:3 and 5 indeed affirms that “Children are a heritage from the Lord. The fruit of the womb is a reward. … Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them.” Russian bombs hit within half mile of The Worldview staff in Ukraine Several Ukrainian cities came under major aerial attack on Monday morning. It was the most extensive Russian bombardment of Kiev in several months. Another attack in the central Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih resulted in at least 11 deaths. Both cities were locations of Christian family conferences held over the last few days, sponsored by the Generations and Worldview ministries. The attack consisted of at least forty missiles, one of which hit Ukraine's largest children's hospital in Kiev, reports CNN. The hospital was just half a mile from where The Worldview staff was staying. A total of 37 people were killed in yesterday's bombings, reports ABC News. French Parliament split three ways Political division is growing in France. The French election has split the parliament in three ways, reports Reuters. The  right now holds 142 seats, the center has 150 seats, and the leftist coalition has 178 seats.  Since the 2022 elections, the left grew by 36% and the right by 50% at the expense of the center. Iran elects moderate president Another surprise election result came down to the east of France. This time in the nation of Iran. The more moderate candidate, Masoud Pezeshkian, won the national election by a 16.3 million to 13.5 million vote count. The 69-year-old cardiac surgeon opposes the mandatory hijab or head covering for women, and advocates negotiations with the West on Iran's nuclear program. Real estate values skyrocketing in Europe and U.S. Real estate prices are up in European countries. Since 2010, the largest increases have occurred in Austria, Czech Republic, Portugal, and Germany, reports WolfStreet.com. Amazingly, prices for the average home have at least doubled since 2010. Here in the United States, the average price of a home has increased by 89% since 2010.  Hurricane Beryl slowed to Category 1 Cyclone in Texas Hurricane Beryl made landfall on Monday morning in Texas as a Category 1 cyclone.   Galveston, Houston, and Freeport were hit with 80-90 mph winds and ocean storm surges reached 7 feet at points.  The storm is headed into eastern Oklahoma and Arkansas.   Over a ten-day blitzkreig, the Category 5 hurricane did major damage in Jamaica and parts of Mexico, resulting in ten deaths. Presbyterian Church USA doubles down on perversion Last week, the Presbyterian Church USA doubled down on its affirmation of homosexuality, and its opposition to pastors who take the biblical stance on the subject. The resolution to “guarantee full participation and representation” of homosexuals and individuals attempting to change their gender in its worship and governance passed by a vote of 389 to 24.  John MacArthur: Biden is punishment for abandoning God Pastor John MacArthur told Breitbart News in a recent interview that God has given America up to “sexual immorality, homosexual immorality, and a reprobate mind.”   The pastor said that God has taken His hand of blessing off of this society, and “what you get is Joe Biden.”  MacArthur added, “The train is moving so fast down the direction of having been abandoned by God that unless there's a huge spiritual turnaround, there's no way to stop this.” He urged Christians to uphold righteousness in politics, but “to care a whole lot more about the Gospel.”   Romans 1:28 and 32 declares that “they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness. … who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same, but also approve of those who practice them.” Kansas court struck down ban on second-trimester abortions The State of Kansas is now a go-to state for abortion. Since 2020, the official number of child killings in the state is up 152%. At least 20,000 children lost their lives in Kansas last year by chemical and surgical killings. And, in a 5-1 decision, the Kansas Supreme Court struck down a ban on second-trimester abortions on Friday, reports The Associated Press. The high court argued that the state constitution guarantees total access to abortion. Any legislative restrictions would then be deemed unconstitutional. The only conservative on the court warned that the state is becoming known as “a legal regime of unrestricted access to abortion.” Jewish man shares how he trusted Jesus as Savior As Kevin Swanson travels and speaks abroad, I guest host for him today on Generations Radio. I interview Rich Flashman, a Jewish man who trusted Jesus Christ as Messiah. When he went off to the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, an Evangelical Christian knocked on his dorm room door. FLASHMAN: “I got a knock on my door and I opened the door and a young man says,  'Hi, my name is Paul. I could talk to you about establishing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.” McMANUS: “Woah.” FLASHMAN: “'Well,' I said, ‘I'm sorry, Paul. I'm Jewish.' He goes, ‘That's okay. So was He.'” McMANUS: (laughs) “Did that surprise you?” FLASHMAN: “You know, I knew Jesus was Jewish, you know, but you know, it's just yeah. But I laughed when he said, like you. I invited him in. I invited my Jewish friends from down the hall as well to listen to him. And he shared the gospel sure that Jesus was the Jewish Messiah, He lived a perfect life. He taught on the kingdom of heaven, kingdom of God, that He suffered and died for our sins, and He rose again, and He gives new life to anyone who believes. “So I said, ‘Why do you think that? And he said, ‘It's an historic fact.' And I said, ‘Well, where's your historic data?' He said, ‘The Bible.' I said, ‘Come on, Paul -- oral tradition, human writing, you know, come on.' He goes, ‘No, the Bible is an historical document. Read it.'” Eventually, after reading Isaiah 53, a chapter that most Jews skip over, Flashman became convicted that Jesus was indeed the long-anticipated Messiah. Today, he leads the Manhattan branch of Chosen People Ministries, which has brought the Gospel to Jews for 130 years. Plus, we talked about their June 20th event held in Times Square in the Big Apple about opposing antisemitism, and how Christians can speak up for Israel and our Jewish neighbors. Listen to my 34-minute interview with Rich Flashman, a Jewish believer in Jesus at Generations.org/radio. That's Generations.org/radio. Republicans waters down their platform on abortion & marriage And finally, the Trump campaign has announced the Republican platform national committee has softened language on abortion and homosexual faux marriage, reports The Washington Stand as well as NBC News. The updated platform, entitled “America First: A Return to Common Sense,” will no longer define marriage as between “one man and one woman.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Tuesday, July 9th, in the year of our Lord 2024. Print story 100 people shot in Chicago over 4th of July weekend The city of Chicago turned into a war zone of sorts over the Fourth of July weekend.  Tragically, 100 people were shot, resulting in 17 deaths, reports Breitbart. That's up 27% over the previous year.  Chicago, like all of Illinois, has a 72-hour waiting period on gun purchases, a red flag law, an “assault weapons” ban, a “high capacity” magazine ban, and a Firearm Owners Identification card requirement.

“Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain”… well, we are never very good at following the status quo here at Outstanding. Originally designed to be an advisory role, we are currently seeing a shift and “power grab” with their new Pandemic Agreement. This new agreement would essentially set up a global parliament, and guess what? The Biden administration is leaning to agree with it. Recently, (and for the last four years) a lot of Americans have voiced their concern about the current state of the economy. It seems the cost of basic survival: food, shelter, and water has just continued to increase. Host Joseph Backholm is joined by The Washington Stand’s Ben Johnson for a discussion surrounding the question: What causes an economy to grow or decline? Is there any connection with fertility rate? Joseph and Ben reflect on the spiritual value of an economy, analyze failed economic predictions from 50 years ago, offer a biblical way to think about the economy, and address the declining fertility rate in America.
