In 2004, Terry co-wrote American Idol finalist Josh Gracin’s top five single “Stay With Me/Brass Bed”. He followed that up by co-writing “Play Something Country” with Ronnie Dunn, which was the fastest rising single of Brooks and Dunn’s career and was also the final #1 song for the award-winning duo. Terry has had over 25 songs recorded by Brooks & Dunn, which led to 13 singles and 12 BMI million air awards. So we talk about his musical journey, get the scoop on his latest project and what’s next and pick his brain about songwriting and any advice he has for aspiring songwriters.

Chad was born in shadow of The Appalachian Mountains in Western NC. Signed with label 23 Muzik Group in 2013, He asked for his first guitar at the age of 3 and quickly began imitating all the radio hero's of the day. From Willie & Waylon to The Marshall Tucker Band & Glenn Campbell. Chad's first song he sang on that ol plastic guitar was “Rhinestone Cowboy” then twenty sum old years rolled by before he picked up a real guitar. This time out of a longing or a calling you might say. Chad learned guitar after going thru a ugly divorce. Often he has said, “it was either buy a dog or a guitar, I figured a guitar was cheaper and easier…i may have been off the mark on that one.” Soon he learned how to put his thoughts and feelings in a song. He then formed “The Ramblin Gypsy Band” and began to play all over the east coast. They have opened for such greats as Jamey Johnson, Jason Michael Carroll, Confederate Railroad and Sunny Ledfurd. Honing there craft and paying there dues in such time honored haunts as The Bowery in Myrtle Beach SC & Coyote Joe's in Charlotte NC. After years with the Gypsies, They decided to take a break and now Chad has a band of seasoned professionals called "Two Lane Black Top".Working in FM radio over 8 years, has also helped fuel that singer/songwriter itch for Chad. In radio he is known as “Trip” and he has his finger prints in all aspects of the radio business. Everything from sales, production, and as a on air personality! Chad continues to play in his country rock band and he loves fishing and hunting as well as going camping with friends and he is a true southern Nascar nut! His true love is his soul mate Ally and his 3 boys, Treigh, Tyler, & Tanner! His brand new single "Southern Woman Loving" is making waves in the music industry, currently it is in the Iceman's "Top 40 New Country Artist Countdown" and moving up the chart.
Join us this week as we welcome country music singer songwriter, Jamie Tate. Born in North Carolina, 25 year old, Jamie has been singing and performing since the age of 4. The release of her most recent single, "I'll Give My All" took Jamie over the 100,000 digital download mark! The song is a patriotic tribute to our military featuring the world renowned 82nd Airborne All American Chorus. With performances like the Daytona 500, Coca-Cola Fan Stage at the Atlanta Motor Speedway NASCAR race, Coca Cola 600 Welcome Home Troops event at Charlotte Motor Speedway, and opening for artists like Jason Michael Carroll, Parmalee, Gretchen Wilson, Colt Ford, Josh Thompson, and Jeff Cook, it is easy to see how all types of fans enjoy Jamie’s brand of country music.
