We continue our journey through LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy! Last time we shared our roundtable with writers/showrunners, Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit where we learned so much about their process and the importance of telling your own stories. Today, we share our interview with Robert Michael Moynihan Jr., but of course we all know him as Bobby Moynihan. In this special Bobby appropriately plays Jedi Bob, a character many know from his first appearance in the LEGO Republic Gunship set released in 2002. Bobby is no stranger to Star Wars, having played Orka in Resistance, Trader in The Bad Batch, and Geezer in Visions. Additionally he played multiple characters in the live-readings of The Naboo Movie and The Great Kamino Kaper. There was some great energy on this one with a very heartwarming moment. We hope you enjoy this one! Stay-tuned for some more LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy roundtable interviews coming out this week! Welcome to a short but fun episode! We were very lucky to be able to participate in a roundtable interview, along with other great content creators, with the legendary DEE BRADLEY BAKER! His status as Star Wars royalty is undisputed, having voiced a plethora of characters in The Clone Wars along with all of the Batchers in The Bad Batch! Millennials might also recognize him as the voice of Olmec in Legends Of The Hidden Temple among so many other credits! Today we chat with Dee about his latest Star Wars project: Young Jedi Adventures! In it he plays the fan-favorite NUBS! It is definitely a 180 from the darker characters he has been voicing lately. This was definitely a great one, Dee is kind, and engaging and his answers are joyful and thought provoking! Thanks again to Lucasfilm for the opportunity! 2023 started off with a bang on Disney+ with Season 2 of Star Wars: The Bad Batch! Tricia Barr (Fangirls Going Rogue / FanGIRL Blog) and BJ Priester (FanGIRL Blog) join us to review the premiere episodes “Spoils of War” and “Ruins of War”. We were also part of a Star Wars fan site roundtable hosted by Disney and Lucasfilm, which shed fantastic and relevant insight into The Bad Batch from the showrunners Brad Rau (executive producer) and Jennifer Corbett (head writer, executive producer), along with the voice of Omega, Michelle Ang, and the voice of The Bad Batch, Dee Bradley Baker. What kinds of storytelling can we look forward to in Season 2? How does Dee keep all the Clone voices straight in a recording session? How do Michelle and Dee connect during recording sessions? What can we expect from Kevin Kiner and The Bad Batch soundtrack this season? To hear all three roundtables in their entirety, head to Fangirls Going Rogue, where Tricia and Sarah shared them along with more insight into The Bad Batch: Brad Rau and Jennifer Corbett Michelle Ang Dee Bradley Baker Thanks to our fellow Star Wars fan podcasters for a great roundtable: Jedi News, Fangirls Going Rogue, Father Son Galaxy, Full of Sith, Skytalkers, Tarkin's Top Shelf, and Fantha Tracks.
