On the News side of things this week Andy talks about some new fancy tat coming to Transformers, more from the Transformers Wild King japanese series and problem with the new haslab figure
Play NowThe Seibertron Twincast / Podcast has returned, and this episode kicks off with Age of the Primes Alpha Trion as an unexpected topic, as art of what looks to be his alternate mode has shown up online. Haslab Omega Prime has finally arrived and becomes the main topic of this episode. The cast talks about the highs and lows of the figures comprising the set now that they're in-hand, including the quality control and engineering or assembly issues plaguing many copies of the Optimus Prime core robot. The discussion pivots to the reveal of the first set of NFL Collaborative helmet robots, featuring an initial selection of four teams from around the league. The recurring “Bragging Rights” segment then brings the episode to a close.
While there are some cool cool news items to talk too, there's also a certain Celebration taking place in Japan right now... As such we bring on a Star Wars expert Nick G who takes us through all latest Black Series and TVC goodness. Closer to home, we recap our local (and the best) Adelaide Comic and Toy Fair with it's April 2025 edition. Huge thanks as always to Brett and Sarah for their amazing work! The Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast is here to discuss the latest in Transformers. Discussion starts with Tomy Takara's Wild King line and the newly released cartoon. Liokaiser has been fully funded, leading the cast to reflect on the latest Haslab crowdfunding effort. MPG-17 Convoy 4.0 (aka Optimus Prime) had been teased but not fully revealed as of the recording, listen in to some eleventh-hour speculation on what the crew thought about it based on merely the teaser image. Toy talk moves to a collection topic where the cast provides rules on exactly how to count how many figures are in your collection. Finally, an extended "Bragging Rights" closes out the show.
Yes, there is news to talk too - some of it huge. Like a certain huge dragon. Huge fundraisers. Huge SDCC ecto-glow announcement. Two huge properties join forces (gotta build 'em all). One huge Shredder (bro lifts). But bigger than ALL of those, is the unexpected parcel of absolute joy sent by our favourite Canadian, the one and only Colin Betts. This has to be seen (heard?) to be believed. In spite of some truely awful postage costs, comes so many gifts filled with attention to detail, insight, humor and most importantly, love. Colin - a huge thank you!Support the show: http://patreon.com/toypowerpodcastSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
We are a couple of members down today so yes, it's a Lisa episode. Scot and Frank take the wheel to look at a new Origins reveal, some Latest Scores (where Scot goes BIG) but mainly wax on/off about the finale of Cobra Kai. Did they stick the landing or sweep the leg? How was Anthony Mackie's first solo run as Captain America? Hoe tough is it to integrate two cats into the same space? All these un-expected questions and more await! Support the show: http://patreon.com/toypowerpodcastSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Strap yourselves in folks - New York Toy Fair 2025 is here and it brought the big guns! We - and our wallets - are under heavy fire from a carpet bombing of toy goodness and reveals! Episode 370 of the Siebertron.com Twincast Podcast opens with a conversation about the latest Transformers HasLab, Liokaiser, meeting the Tier 1 milestone of 13,000 backers to unlock the exclusive Death Cobra figure. Following that excitement, the cast discusses the delay of the Takara Tomy's 40th Selection Lio Convoy due to major factory misassembly. Next, the episode moves to redecos, including the MPG Nucleon Quest Convoy and the Monster Hunter crossover Silver Rathalos Prime. In other news, Missing Link Arcee and a Dramatic Capture Series 3-pack featuring Origins Bumblebee, Jazz, and Wheeljack are in the offing, and the crew has thoughts. This is followed by the question: "if you could reissue one toy, what would it be and why?" The cast's answers range from big to small to spite. The episode ends as it always does, with a round of bragging rights, where everyone on the show highlights the toys or other Transformers products they've acquired since the last episode.

Toys with no heads kick off episode 364 of the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast as leaked images of headless test shots of Age of the Primes Voyager Class Prima and Red Alert prompt the show's first discussion. After that, speculation abounds due to the news of Hasbro no longer financing film projects based on their intellectual properties. The cast ponders what this could mean from a practical standpoint when it comes to future Transformers films. After a very brief, impromptu look back at the defunct Wizards of the Coast Transformers TCG, the limited recurring "40 for 40" segment re-visits 2021 and the arrival of its massive Haslab project, Unicron. The "Bragging Rights" segment closes out the episode as each participant shares their latest Transformers toy and product acquisitions.
