NFL Network Analyst Bucky Brooks tells Rich why this year's unpredictable NFL Draft will be “absolutely bananas,” if controversial Georgia DT Jalen Carter will be the first defensive player selected, and why Tennessee's Hendon Hooker should be the 3rd quarterback drafted ahead of Florida's Anthony Richardson and Kentucky's Will Levis. Numerous reports say the Tennessee Titans and Arizona Cardinals are engaged in talks that would result in the Titans getting the No. 3 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. Tennessee currently has six overall selections, the first of which is No. 11. ... If the Titans move up to No. 3, it almost certainly is because they want to pick a quarterback, and – barring a surprise in the first two selections – they will have a choice between Florida's Anthony Richardson and Kentucky's Will Levis. We look at both and what the Titans might be thinking in that regard. ... Tennessee's six overall selections do not amount to a ton of draft capital. In fact, based on value charts, all six picks are not enough to move from No. 11 to No. 3. So, we look at what it might take for the Titans to make such a move. ... Other reports say Tennessee and San Francisco are exploring a deal that would involve a swap of young quarterbacks Malik Willis, a third-round pick by the Titans in 2022, and Trey Lance, the No. 3 overall selection by San Francisco in 2021. General manager Ran Carthon has a history with Lance, which makes his reported interest in that move understandable. ... Assuming the Titans don't make any major moves and use the six picks they currently have, which positions should they prioritize in this year's draft? Offensive line and wide receiver are obvious. Opinions about the importance of adding a tight end in the draft differ.

In this month-long lead up to the 2023 NFL draft at the end of April, it seems like all of the discussion has centered around the top four quarterbacks, who could all likely be selected with the top four picks. After discussing the 2023 class of running backs last week, Matt Harmon and Charles McDonald spend today's podcast finally diving into this year's blockbuster QB draft class in Alabama's Bryce Young, Ohio State's CJ Stroud, Florida's Anthony Richardson & Kentucky's Will Levis. Before they talk about this year's class, the guys spend the first 20 minutes of the show looking back at the 2018 QB class and the odd similarities between this year's prospects and that year's group, which included Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, Josh Rosen, Josh Allen & Lamar Jackson. For the bulk of the episode however, they talk about how Young, Stroud, Richardson & Levis are being evaluated by NFL front offices, their green flags, their red flags and why it's very likely we could see all four be selected with the top four picks, but not in the order you might imagine. At the tail end of the pod, they discuss Tennessee's Hendon Hooker and other wild card QBs who may be of interest later in the draft.0:00 - Introduction & revisiting the 2018 QB class18:10 - Alabama QB Bryce Young27:50 - Ohio State QB CJ Stroud33:15 - Florida QB Anthony Richardson44:15 - Kentucky QB Will Levis52:05 - Tennessee QB Hendon Hooker59:15 - Any wild card QBs deeper in the draft?Check out all the episodes of the Yahoo Fantasy Football Forecast and the rest of the Yahoo Sports podcast family at https://apple.co/3zEuTQj or at Yahoo Sports PodcastsSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Rich reacts to the Lakers' two big wins since the All-Star break and says why it's looking more and more like you don't want to face LeBron & company come playoff time.  ESPN's Todd McShay tells Rich that if he were running the Chicago Bears he'd trade QB Justin Fields and select Alabama's Bryce Young with the #1 pick in the NFL Draft, if the other top-rated draft quarterbacks (Kentucky's Will Levis, Ohio State's C.J. Stroud, and Florida's Anthony Richardson) will be ready to start in the NFL come Week 1, why the Jets should trade for Aaron Rodgers, and more. Rich and the guys debate which teams should trade up or down at the top of the NFL Draft, and Rich weighs in on the first weekend of MLB's new Pitch Clock rules that improves the pace of play but with some possible side effects that might be hard for fans and players to stomach. Poles left it slightly ajar Tuesday by saying he would have to be “blown away” to take a passer. Quarterbacks such as Alabama's Bryce Young, Ohio State's C.J. Stroud and Kentucky's Will Levis are among the top prospects available in the draft. Fields emerged as one of the NFL's most exciting players in his second season. But he was drafted by former general manager Ryan Pace. The Bears finished 3-14 in one of the worst seasons in franchise history. NFL – Ballard will be patient in finding right coach for Colts Indianapolis Colts coach Chris Ballard says he will be patient in conducting the team’s coaching search. Ballard would not discuss specific candidates other than to say interim coach Jeff Saturday would be interviewed by the Colts. But two days after completing a 4-12-1 season and earning the No. 4 pick in April’s NFL draft, Ballard told reporters he blamed himself for the poor results and that he could wait until mid-February to make a hire. NFL – Damar Hamlin’s toy drive: What’s the plan for the $8.6M? Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin plans to support young people through education and sports with the $8.6 million in GoFundMe donations that unexpectedly poured into his toy drive fundraiser after he suffered a cardiac arrest in the middle of a game last week. The Giving Back Fund is a nonprofit that helps athletes and celebrities manage their charitable giving. They will host the “The Chasing M's Foundation” Charitable Fund. A GoFundMe spokesperson said they will transfer the donations that have come in since Hamlin's injury. Hamlin’s marketing representative, Jordon Rooney, said he and his family are humbled by the “tremendous support” and will communicate with donors over time. MLB – AP source: Correa spurns Mets, reaches $200M deal with Twins A person familiar with the negotiations says Carlos Correa has agreed to a $200 million, six-year contract that keeps him with the Minnesota Twins after failing to complete deals with the New York Mets and San Francisco Giants. The deal for the All-Star shortstop is subject to a successful physical. Correa agreed Dec. 13 to a $350 million, 13-year contract with the Giants, who called off a news conference a week later over concerns with a right ankle injury. Correa agreed that night to a $315 million, 12-year deal with the Mets, who also had concerns about the ankle. The agreement with the Twins could be worth $270 million over 10 seasons if Correa remains healthy. Today on the Logan Blackman Show we recap certain things that took place on signing day, mainly discussing South East Polk's Kadyn Proctor and his decision to de-commit from Iowa and commit to Alabama. We take a look at some of the quotes he made and why we can agree with some of the things he said, though he worded it pretty badly. We then take a look at the college football transfer portal, taking a look at where some of the top quarterbacks have committed to and why the transfer portal and NIL are not ruining college football, it's just legal now. We then move our attention to the NFL draft, with some recent reports suggesting Bryce Young could slide in the draft due to his size. We discuss that and compare Young and Kentucky's Will Levis and try to figure out who will, and who should, go first overall. Finally, we reveal the 2022 Pro Bowl rosters and preview this weekends action in both the NFL and college football. Enjoy the show!

Today on the Logan Blackman Show we take a made up quiz surrounding the Buffalo Bills and the NFL Draft, trying to name the last however many first round draft picks made by the Bills organization. We then reveal our first officially official mock draft of the 2023 NFL Draft cycle. We go over each pick and discuss why there's some many teams that could move for a quarterback in this draft. We then compare and contrast Alabama's Bryce Young and Kentucky's Will Levis, trying to decide who we think NFL scouts will lean towards when the Draft rolls around in April. We then switch out focus to college football and preview the start of bowl season, with some games taking place across the weekend. Though they not be the biggest bowls, they deserve our respect. Then finally, we preview the 2022 FIFA World Cup Final between Argentina and France, discussing the match-up and going over why this is the best possible outcome for the World Cup final, with Messi and Mbappe playing for more than just the golden boot. Enjoy!

On today's episode, Jason gets the party started with a quick preview of the upcoming World Cup Final between Argentina and France. It's hard to explain to non-soccer fans how big it is to see Lionel Messi vs Kylian Mbappe in the Final; It would be like seeing Kobe Bryant face LeBron James in the NBA Finals back in 2009. It's arguably the greatest players of their respective generations going head-to-head for all the marbles, you can't beat it. In the NBA, the big news on Wednesday has to be the health of Steph Curry, who left late in the Golden State Warriors loss to the Pacers with a shoulder injury. It's still unclear how long Curry will be out, but given that the Warriors have been absolutely atrocious on the road even with Steph, it's hard now to be just a little bit concerned about the team moving forward. Later, Jason hits us with a way-too-early lookahead to the 2023 NFL Draft. Many expected this would be a quarterback-rich draft given how poor last season's crop graded out but as of now we're stuck with more questions than answers. Kentucky's Will Levis is said to be the best of the bunch, but have you seen the way he's looked against top-flight competition? Yikes. Finally, J-Mac closes the show with the Thursday Night Football (San Francisco 49ers vs Seattle Seahawks) edition of the Best Bet.  Click here to subscribe, rate and review all of the latest Straight Fire with Jason McIntyre podcasts!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
