This week I sat down with Julie Voris, a content creator and Disney cast member who works PhotoPass in the parks. This episode is for those who feel like the Disney World vacation is a giant to do list you are trying to survive. We talk about how to slow down, find the joy, and actually enjoy the vacation you worked so hard to plan. Julie is not a tips and tricks account, and that is exactly why I wanted her on. We get into how young is too young to take your kids, why your own memories matter just as much as theirs, and the trap of trying to do every single thing in one day. Julie shares what she sees from behind the camera in the parks every week, and I share a few stories from my own family trips that taught me the same lessons the hard way. We also dig into the stuff that quietly ruins good trips. Julie walks through how to plan a brutally hot August park day so nobody melts down, why heading back to the resort pool is not quitting, and how reading a little Disney history can change the way you see the parks. I get honest about the spreadsheet families I worry about, and we both agree that value at Disney is subjective, so the bubble wand and the chocolate on the shirt belong in the picture. Stick around to the end for the rapid fire favorites and two of my all time favorite reset tricks for a rough park day. Julie has a monorail move that gets you out of the chaos without going all the way back to your room, and I finally share my PeopleMover secret that I usually keep to myself.   Connect with Julie Voris: Instagram.com/julievoris  Substack :: substack.com/@julievoris (or on the app @julievoris) Website :: julievoris.com   Chapters 00:00  Welcome and Meeting Julie Voris 02:15  How Julie Fell in Love with Disney 06:28  How Young Is Too Young to Take Your Kids to Disney World 09:49  Why Your Memories at Disney World Matter Too 12:10  When Teenagers Act Too Cool for Photos at Disney World 15:06  What Makes Working at Disney World Special 16:48  Does Living Near Disney World Change the Magic 19:41  Spotting a Good Disney World Vacation in Five Minutes 22:13  Best Advice for First Time Planners at Disney World 23:50  The Real Point of a Disney Trip 27:08  Surviving a Hot August Park Day 32:31  Learning What Works for Your Family at Disney World 39:16  What Belongs in Your Disney World Budget First 41:32  Recognizing When to Take a Break 50:34  The Monorail and PeopleMover Reset Tricks

In this episode, Cory Connors welcomes Dana Voges to discuss her remarkable journey from growing up visiting landfills on Take Your Kid to Work Day in Colorado, to leading reusable packaging innovation in Germany. Dana shares how SEA ME and their open pool system Zerooo are building a scalable, brand-agnostic reuse infrastructure for cosmetics and personal care — and what the rest of the world can learn from Germany's deposit return system.Key Topics Discussed:Dana's unique background: from Superfund site field trips and trash fashion shows to circular economy research at the Technical University of BerlinGermany's deposit return system (DRS) and why it works — and why the US lags behindWhat SEA ME is and how their reusable packaging model works for cosmetics and personal care productsThe Zerooo open pool system: a pay-per-use model that handles reverse logistics, washing, and redeployment for participating brandsThe origin of the Zerooo name and its triple infinity loop logoConsumer behavior as the hardest challenge in reuse systems — and how pre-fill models reduce frictionThe "chicken and egg" problem between retailers and brands, and how SEA ME is bringing both to the tableThe roller coaster analogy: why reuse systems require coordinating infrastructure, legislation, incentives, and behavior simultaneouslyHow parallel revenue from the SEA ME brand funded the system during early-stage high costsEconomies of scale: how wash costs for 10,000 bottles are nearly the same as for 1,000Aesthetics and wear: clever bottle design to prevent scuffing and maintain brand appearance across cyclesWhy metal containers present challenges for reuse: keepability, high upfront carbon footprint, visual inspection limitations, and consumer familiarityWhy glass and PET are the preferred materials for SEA ME's systemThe importance of integrating reuse systems with existing consumer habits (e.g., reusable bags, existing return infrastructure)SEA ME's current footprint: ~900 sale and return locations in Germany, with major European retail expansion underwayResources Mentioned:SEA MEZeroooEllen MacArthur Foundation Cradle to Cradle by Michael BraungartContact:Brands selling personal care, home care, wellness, or beauty products in PET bottles interested in joining the European Zerooo system can reach out to Dana Voges and the SEA ME team directly.Thank you for tuning in to Sustainable Packaging with Cory Connors!Support our Sponsors Learn more here:- 3M- Specright- Forest Connect with CoryConnect with Cory on LinkedIn here: https://www.linkedin.com/in/cory-connors/I'm here to help you make your packaging more sustainable! Ilhan Omar's financial disclosures showed her net worth jumped to as high as $30 million — then she quietly amended it down to under $95,000 and blamed her accountant. Hakeem Jeffries was asked about it point-blank and claimed he'd never heard of it, then spent the rest of his press conference calling Ron DeSantis "charismatically challenged" and challenging Donald Trump to an IQ debate. The highlight? A kid at Take Your Kid to Work Day asked Jeffries why voters hate Democrats — and his answer was even worse than the question. Special guest: Everybody wave hi to Mira. Things Discussed: Spring game: Craig watched the line, wasn't that impressed. Bryce was throwing flat; overthrowing McCulley is a sin. There's a guy across the aisle who's already mad. Seth thinks when the threw that small window past a dropping DE was good; Brian thought he didn't see the drop. Jadyn Davis: Didn't look that polished but much improved. Mikey Keene? Brian thinks he's not a P4 quarterback. Receivers? If you go in the portal you can get a bunch of CJ Charlestons at this point. McCulley had the one contested ball and did the George Costanza. Keeps the expectations for Bryce in context, because Trevor Lawrence had NFL wideouts to throw at as a freshman. Want guys to step up: Marsh, Browder: turn around and context that. Seth: comp is what Nebraska got out of Raiola last year. Need the running game to be the engine of the offense. Get to functional. Hey Sam, how many targets is Jalen Hoffman getting? Are they going to do zone reads for Bryce? OL: Sprague up, Link down—if they're not naming him the starter now maybe he needs to move inside. Sam thinks Frazier can get healthy and get back his agility. Seth thinks they're gonna survive until Babalola is ready, ETA midseason. Break: Sam talks about his colon (I left this out of the podcast version). Defense: Tackles go six deep with big dudes. With them it's more about who they're going against. Linebacker: We are RICH. Seth thinks we have two guys who are better than the top six guys in the Draft, AND Rolder made it through spring without getting hurt. Barham has many uses, Sam thinks he's going to be an All-American. Sullivan can do Barham things. Big Nickel Mason Curtis: think this is a thing. Seth thinks Efobi looked like he was moving them. Dom Nichols: not surprised that a guy who played a lot as a true freshman is getting talk as DE#3. Who's got bend? Sam says Barham is #1. Seth wants to see it from Edokpayi.

It may be too late for Cal. His kids are 30, 27 and 22 years old. But it may not be too late for you or your friends to take your kids with you to vote. If it takes your kids out of school for a few hours, they may remember it for their rest of their lives, and it can be the first step in an education about democracy and the power of their vote. This message comes from the author of: How To Raise A Citizen (And Why It's Up To You To Do It). And there's probably never been a better election to start doing it than this one. Listen up, and you'll hear why.
