Rory Dunn (comedian) returns to the show and gets banned from the celebrity gossip subreddit Fauxmoi for making a joke about something happening to America's two likely Presidential candidates. One thing Rory doesn't get banned from is his love of drinking milk, which we find out he's doing a lot of because he is entering a strongman competition. Of course, that sends us down a wild rabbit hole where we spend a ton of time discussing World's Strongest Man and Rory's prep for the competition. Plus, Rory is unhappy with a podcast trying to locate a cool-looking skateboarder from a photo, "Inside the NBA" might be ending, and some guys honk a car horn at golfers mid-swing, and that's never not funny. You know what else is always funny? Our bonus content! It's only available at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, Randee Neumeyer joined us for a Cullen the Herd episode, where John gets blocked by a stupid Leafs fan. We also have ad-free episodes, merch discounts, an exclusive Discord, and MORE! So check it out! Rory Dunn is a comedian whose new show, "Your Music Video Sucks" is at Little Mountain Gallery in Vancouver on June 29th. He is a radio host on CiTR, the University of British Columbia radio station, with his show Parts Unknown which has been on the air for over two decades. We walk down Main Street from 29th avenue to 22nd avenue, discussing Little Mountain Gallery, Chroma Books, Blim and more. Chroma Books was a bookstore upstairs at 4424 Main Street which opened in 2002 and occasionally had shows of experimental and lo-fi music. They Live Video, at 4340 Main St, hosted bands in the 2010s. Little Mountain Gallery was at 195 E 26th Ave built in 1930. It became an art space known as the Butchershop Collective in 2001 and Little Mountain Gallery was established in 2006. Lucky's Comics was a comic and bookstore at 3972 Main Street which has now relocated eight blocks north. Other venues mentioned are The Regional Assembly of Text (3934 Main Street), Blim (opened in 2003 in the old BC Electric Building at 23 W Pender, then at 197 East 17th Ave and now at 115 E Pender St, an art shop, no longer a venue) Solder and Sons (247 Main Street), Chris's shed, the Java Joint (Surrey), the New York Theatre now the York Theatre (639 Commercial Dr). Christine Bortolin (comedian) joins the esteemed Four-Timers Club as she appears on a main episode of the show for a fourth time to tell us the tale of running a music venue's social media account and how that makes you responsible for destroying the attempts of various, obvious scammers trying to sell "tickets" to sold out shows. If this pod was live, it would definitely be sold out as we have a blast dipping into the Cameo well and visiting our friends the C*ck Destroyers, Christine discusses Everton's triumphant win and their avoidance of relegation, and we touch on seltzers, Pilates, horrific injuries, Michelle Pfeiffer, and uhh...acidic ejaculate. Plus, we learn there aren't a ton of people eating money online, Markelle Fultz gets himself into trouble for following a suspect account, and Stefan shows us one of the worst things AI has come up with so far. If you want to follow a suspect account, you can donate to the show at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month! This week, Zach Cherry makes his return to the show on our brand-new interview series "Heck/Cullen". Zach is very patient with us as we attempt to ask him serious questions about his acting and comedy career in one of the funniest episodes we've ever done. You won't wanna miss it. Plus we've got merch discounts, an exclusive Discord channel, and MORE! So stop on by.
