Broadford manager Paddy Meehan says he's sickened by the last minute goal that sentenced his side to defeat in the first round of the TUS Clare Senior Hurling Championship. Having struck two goals of their own in the opening half, Broadford looked set to take at least a point from the game as they led by two points with seven minutes to play. However, super sub Darragh McNamara raised a 60th minute green flag to turn the game on its head, while Martin and Peter Duggan added late points to finalise a three point win for Clooney Quin. Meehan says their opponent's quality players shone through in the dying stages. Meanwhile, Éire Óg boss Gerry O'Connor says he's impressed by the manner of which his players controlled the game once they hit the front. 13 points from Danny Russell alongside goals from Marco Cleary and Darren O'Brien helped The Townies to a 2-24 to 1-18 win over Newmarket in their Group 3 encounter. O'Connor says the boost they got from their bench saw them over the line to record the victory.

Ballyea manager Robbie Hogan says his side will have to dust themselves down and take the positives from their performance in the first game of the TUS Clare Senior Hurling Championship. His side fell to a one point defeat to Kilmaley leaving them on the back foot in Group 4 ahead of their crucial second round clash with Scariff. The 2022 county champions had looked set to open their account with a win as they held an 11 point lead at half time, after Tony Kelly netted twice in first half. Hogan's been telling Clare FM's Derek Dormer that their inability to get on breaking ball in the second period let them down. Meanwhile, Clooney Quin Boss Fergal Lynch is lauding his sides staying power as they kicked off their campaign with a win. A late surge saw them claim a three point victory over Broadford to sit second in Group 2, with leaders Inagh-Kilnamona providing the opposition in the next round. Lynch says his players have finished strong in every game they've played this year.

So, when a crazed lunatic surfer dude believed he was “saving democracy,” he picked up a gun and tried to shoot Trump. That was proof enough of the damage caused by the once-respected legacy press, and it was their “original sin.”And even after that, a freaked-out, unhinged group of people on TikTok actively call for the assassination of Trump with their “when it happens” and “somebody just do it,” memes.So when James Comey posts a photo of a message in the sand to “86” the 47th president, it takes on a different meaning than just a funny joke. He was, after all, the FBI director, and whatever happened with that other shooter in Butler?Their “original sin” has divided us, polarized us, and worst of all, betrayed our trust far worse than not reporting on the Biden story. Lying about Trump was worse. Making him a supernatural receptacle of all the evil in the world was worse.They're still out there doing it now - like Lawrence O'Donnell, Tim Miller, Rick Wilson, Rachel Maddow — All the President's Media perpetuating the kind of groupthink via deception that got them into this mess.Ten years of pumping hysteria into the veins of Americans, and what do they have to show for it? Nothing. Selling fear worked for a while, until it didn't.
