Welcome to a very special episode of Backstage Pass. We recently attended the National Alliance for Musical Theatre's 37th Annual Festival of New Musicals in New York City, and have created a podcast experience that will make you feel like you're right there with us! Each year, the NAMT festival shares 45 minute preview performances of 8 new musicals in development. This episode features conversations with NAMT's New Works Director Frankie Dailey, and 4 of the 8 shows in this year's festival: FINN by Chris Nee, Chris Dimond, & Michael Kooman, Love is Dead by Brett Ryback and Jeff Lupino-Esposito, Soft Magical Tofu Boy(s) by Kevin Wong and Particle by Selda Sahin, Autumn Reeser and Derek Gregor. Tune in next week to hear the other 4 shows! We also share demo recordings of a song from each of these musicals so you can get a taste of the music from each show. From FINN you'll hear “Sparkle and Shine” performed by Zachary Noah Piser. From Love is Dead you'll hear “Fully Formed” performed by Lana McKissack. From Soft Magical Tofu Boy(s), you'll hear the song “Invincible” performed by Jonathan Tan. And from Particle you'll hear "Meet Your Heroes" sung by Gabe Violett. We also interviewed Sonya Hayden and Matthew Lowy who were featured in NAMT's College Road Trip program, which shines a spotlight on university theatre programs that develop new musicals. Their musical, Taking Off! was recently developed at Michigan State University and an excerpt of the show was performed at the Festival of New Musicals. You can hear their song, “Ready for the World” at the end of the episode performed by Sonya Hayden. Check out Part 2 next week to hear interviews with the other NAMT writers, as well as more bonus content from musical theatre creators who were present at the festival. What if the people you've always dreamed of leading started coming to you? In this first episode of Taking Off the Mask, Bob shares the powerful story of Stephanie Wood, a leader who reignited her business through the power of presence and authenticity. After years of doing "all the right things" and feeling like nothing was working, Stephanie made one simple shift in how she showed up in her content. The result? One of the people on her chicken list, someone who had been a customer for ten years, reached out to her and joined her team. This isn't a story about recruiting. It's a story about trust. It's about what happens when you stop trying to say the right thing and start showing up as the leader you actually are. We hope you enjoy hearing Stephanie's story, as much as we did sharing it with you.
After ten rate hikes and two years of high borrowing costs, the Bank of Canada has finally started cutting. For the first time in years, interest rates are “in a good place.” But if money's cheaper, why isn't the housing market roaring back to life? What do the latest rate cuts actually mean for buyers and sellers? How long will it take for monetary policy to show up in home prices? And what are the four wildcards that could change everything? From shifting immigration targets to global uncertainty and a sticky inflation rate, the story isn't as simple as “rates down, prices up.” This is a look at the real forces shaping the next phase of Canada's housing market, and to look for indicators for when things will finally start to move.Watch this podcast on YouTube: https://youtu.be/we04t8R1zEYSchedule a 15-minute appointment to chat with me here: https://www.broadviewavenue.ca/appointmentsDownload our guides here:How to Ask Your Parents For Help: https://www.broadviewavenue.ca/family-support-for-fthbThe Toronto Professional's Guide to Real Estate Investing: https://www.broadviewavenue.ca/guide-download▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬Subscribe now to keep updated for more information. If you want to chat with us, do the following:1. In today's special Halloween edition of The Daily Trudge, we're taking a hard look at the masks we wear — and the monsters that live underneath. For years, I hid behind masks: the funny guy, the victim, the know-it-all, the survivor. Each one kept people from seeing who I really was — and kept me from seeing myself. When I finally took off the mask, I found something terrifying… me. The parts I didn't want to admit — the anger, shame, fear, and pride. But here's the truth: those “monsters” lose their power the moment we face them in the light of recovery. This isn't about pretending we're perfect. It's about being brave enough to look in the mirror and say, “Yeah, that's me — and I'm working on it.”
Welcome back, friends! We're wrapping up our BECOMING Series with a powerful reunion—Hannah Marks is back! When Hannah first joined us in July 2024 (Episode 18), she had just experienced breakthrough freedom from 18 years of debilitating anxiety and physical bondage on Saint Patrick's Day 2019. Today, she returns to share how that spiritual freedom launched her into an unexpected calling: helping women and men reclaim their health through body, mind, and soul healing. As a certified health coach and founder of Whole by Hannah, Hannah specializes in hormone regulation, personalized nutrition, and root-cause healing—all anchored in a deep relationship with Jesus. Her approach isn't about quick fixes or band-aids; it's about transformation from the inside out. If you've been on a years-long journey trying to figure out what's wrong—if you've been told your labs are normal but you feel anything but—this conversation is for you. Hannah understands because she's lived it. And now she's helping countless women get their lives back. In This Episode Hannah Shares: How her pivotal Saint Patrick's Day 2019 moment of commanding anxiety to leave changed everything Why we need Jesus AND practical health wisdom—not either/or but both/and HerBody, Mind, Soul framework for becoming whole The difference between spiritual strongholds and physical dysfunction Why 92% of Americans have an insulin issue (and how to fix it in 2 weeks!) The two root causes behind most health issues: insulin or hormones How birth control and infertility treatments disrupt your body's hormone production Why whole foods matter and what happened when she ate a Krispy Kreme donut The mind games we play with ourselves and how to break negative thought patterns Her powerful message: "It's never too late"—as long as you're breathing, you can transform Walking through divorce while staying whole in Christ Why your body isn't broken—it's trying to communicate with you About Hannah Marks: Originally from Great Britain, Hannah Marks has called the United States home for 30 years. After having her thyroid removed and struggling with strokes, autoimmune conditions, and debilitating anxiety for nearly two decades, Hannah experienced complete spiritual freedom in 2019. This breakthrough transformed not only her life but launched her into a new calling. For the past five years, Hannah has been helping women and men become whole through her health coaching practice, Whole by Hannah. She specializes in reading comprehensive blood work, addressing insulin resistance and hormone imbalances, and teaching people how to fuel their bodies with whole foods—all while grounding everything in a deep relationship with Jesus. At 48, Hannah says her body looks and feels better than ever. She's a devoted mom to Will (16) and London, actively involved at Connect Church in Springfield, Missouri, and finds her strength in daily time with Jesus—especially during this current season of walking through an unwanted divorce with grace and faith. Hannah's Heart: "It's never too late. As long as you're breathing and you're alive today, you have the opportunity to turn everything around. You have the opportunity to turn your life around, your body around, your emotions—everything. It's never too late." Pull up a chair, beloved. This conversation will minister to your weary soul AND body. Originally from Great Britain, Hannah has called the United States home for the past 30 years, though her charming British accent remains unmistakably intact. Hannah's journey into holistic health wasn't planned—it was deeply personal. After having her thyroid removed 18 years ago, she spent nearly two decades struggling with what doctors thought were strokes, autoimmune conditions, debilitating anxiety, depression, and complex health issues that left her desperate for answers. Despite countless doctor visits, medications, and being told "your labs are normal," Hannah knew something was deeply wrong. Everything changed on Saint Patrick's Day 2019 when, after reading The Bondage Breaker by Neil T. Anderson, Hannah discovered she had a stronghold of fear over her life. In a powerful moment at church, she commanded the spirit of anxiety to leave in Jesus' name—and it did. After ten months of continuous anxiety attacks, she was instantly and completely free. But Hannah's freedom journey didn't stop there. As a pastor's kid who grew up in "the most beautiful home," she realized that if she didn't understand her authority in Christ, countless other women didn't either. This spiritual breakthrough led her to pursue answers for her physical health, eventually connecting with a doctor who helped her understand insulin resistance, hormone imbalances, and the power of whole foods. For the past five years, Hannah has been guiding women and men through their own transformative journeys. She specializes in comprehensive blood work analysis, addressing the two root causes of most health issues (insulin or hormones), personalized nutrition, and teaching people to advocate for their own health—all while grounding everything in a relationship with Jesus Christ. At 48, Hannah says her body looks and feels better than ever. She's a proud mom to Will (16) and London, teaches elementary music two days a week at her children's school, actively serves at Connect Church in Springfield, Missouri, and finds her daily strength in quiet time with Jesus. Currently walking through an unwanted divorce, Hannah is living proof that it's never too late to become whole—body, mind, and soul. Her clients consistently say they've "gotten their lives back," experiencing reversed diabetes, balanced hormones, renewed energy, and rediscovered joy. My first thought when I heard about Manna was that drone delivery didn't work. Just look at the tech giants Amazon and Google. In 2013, then-CEO Jeff Bezos announced on the CBS TV show 60 Minutes that Amazon was testing deliveries with drones. A year later, Google/Alphabet subsidiary Wing started up their drone work too. Yet after a decade, delivery especially in the US is still done by a guy in a truck. And nothing about that seemed to be changing anytime soon. But then I listened to Ben Thompson's interview with Manna's CEO and founder Bobby Healy. Bobby sounded like he knew the business rather well. And so, I decided to make some time to come to Dublin to do a visit. After five long years in Europe, the drone delivery industry is starting to take off. In today's video, I flew to Ireland to visit a drone delivery startup, and they answered every question I had.

The decision of whether — or when — to take off your wedding ring after losing a spouse is one of the most personal and emotional choices we face in grief. It's not simply about jewelry; it's about love, identity, and how we choose to honor the life we shared. In this episode, we'll explore the many layers of this struggle: the pressure of outside expectations, the deep symbolism of the ring, and how timing looks different for everyone. I'll also share my own journey with this decision and the private, intentional way I approached removing my ring one year after Colleen's passing. Together, we'll uncover why there is no right or wrong choice — only what feels true for you — and how you can permit yourself to move forward in a way that honors both your love and your grief.

In today's message, Pastor Jack encourages us to take off the self-imposed restrictions that hold back our faith, especially when we feel overwhelmed or outnumbered by life's challenges. He explains that the fear of the Lord is not about being afraid of God, but rather a heartfelt response of awe and worship for all the goodness, forgiveness, and blessings He has already poured into our lives. By focusing on God's limitless love and the promises we have in Christ—including healing, provision, and the power of the Holy Spirit—we can pray with greater boldness and believe for breakthroughs far beyond what we might initially think possible. Pastor Jack reminds us that no matter our past mistakes, God's grace is greater, and He desires to fill us with His Spirit so we can live victoriously and extend His love to others.Tune in now!Join us for service every Sunday at 9 and 11am (PST) and Wednesday at 7pm (PST)If you received Christ through this message, text JESUS to (253) 859-0832We would love to hear how God is touching your life through this ministry! Cynane Shay - Tinfoil Hats & Lizard People PART ONEDIVORCED: ChristianityCynane Shay is a nuclear engineer living in South Carolina. Her childhood in White Christian Nationalism normalized conspiracy theories like Obama Birtherism and the Biblical apocalypse; but 2020, with COVID and Qanon, finally made her realize something was deeply wrong. Now Cynane is writing a book, “Taking Off the Tinfoil Hat: How Lizard People and Space Lasers Dismantled my Christian Worldview,” to process the deconstruction of her fundamentalist evangelical faith and her propagandistic patriotism. Losing loved ones to the pandemic was a tragedy, but losing loved ones to the rabbit hole was its own tragedy that left too many of us with unresolved trauma and unanswered questions. So from Flat Earth to the IBLP cult to Jewish space lasers, Cynane pulled the thread, cracked her faith, and found the inseparable link between cults, conspiracy theories, and American White Christian Nationalism. Public crypto treasury companies are in the news right now. Just this week, Sharplink Gaming announced a $425 million raise to create an Ethereum treasury vehicle, backed by Consensys. Meanwhile, Trump Media said it will buy $2.5 billion worth of bitcoin. And in a headline grab, GameStop revealed a $500 million Bitcoin purchase. There's even a newly launched XRP treasury company backed by Saudi royal capital. But why are these vehicles suddenly the structure of choice for accessing crypto exposure? After flying 100 million miles and making over 1.4 million deliveries using autonomous drones, Zipline CEO and co-founder Keller Rinaudo Cliffton is looking to transform how same-day delivery works in the U.S. His company has spent years shipping medical supplies across countries like Rwanda, Ghana and Kenya. But will Zipline become a household name by flying burritos and salads to backyards in the U.S.? And how is the startup competing with tech giants like Amazon and Alphabet? Cliffton speaks to WSJ's Christopher Mims and Tim Higgins on the latest episode of the Bold Names podcast. Correction: Zipline has flown more than 100 million commercial autonomous miles. An earlier version of this podcast incorrectly stated that it's flown 50 million miles without human pilots. (Corrected on May 2.)
