He is, of course, equally adept in the studio, be it as part of Marbert Rocel, who enjoyed a long and fruitful partnership with the mighty Compost label; or now focusing on solo projects and his esteemed Riotvan label, all from his base in one of Germany's most vibrant cities, Leipzig. All of which, natch, means we are beyond delighted to have him debut on Selador. The beneficiary of Panthera's craft is none other than our very own Steve Parry. With new tune ‘Turn Up the Juice' already hailed as an “anthem” by Hot Since 82, the juice gets turned up a few notches more with this bodyslammer of a remix. Our man Panthera remains true to the spirit of Steve's original but goes darker with a late 90s / early 00s vibe with whip cracker percussion, dirty synths, and the opulent vocal hook all aiding and abetting this unabashed act of grand dancefloor larceny. We strain every sinew to come up with descriptions that do justice to the aural treats we are celebrating. However, sometimes you hear a tune, and it just blows yer socks off, rendering you uncharacteristically speechless. All you can muster is over-used, vacuous platitudes like ‘anthem alert' or ‘absolute banger' which, funnily enough, brings us to a case in point. Dave's new Selador offering ‘Two By Two' grabs you eagerly by the hand and drags you to the floor from the off, sticks yer head in the nearest speaker stack, and cries “Let's goooo!!” – and you remain in thrall to its pounding magnificence for nigh on six minutes. The opening bassline motif is pure jackin' magic, and when the insanely memorable, and ever so slightly unearthly “two by two, side by side” vocal hook enters the fray, all bets are off. These elements are the foundation stones around which assorted riffage is woven. There are few brews more potent on 2024 peak time dancefloors. Oh, and for long time fans of Dave's work, we reckon it's a bit like Buzzfuzzle meets The Mighty Ming, aided and abetted by a vocal reminiscent of Divine's classic Native Love. ►Check out our fanlink.to/Y0UTUBE for your audiovisual experience◄ Our next guest, Schtu, a passionate electronic music artist with an expansive knowledge of a variety of different styles and genres, presents his drink of choice: the Vodka Cranberry! Schtu was born at the start of the 90s in Sheffield, an ex-industrial city in the north of England. Always obsessed with music, he spent his teenage years playing guitar in bands and in 2010 he bought a pair of Technics 1210s and started to collect records to DJ with. Thanks to his clear dedication to the craft, the gigs quickly began to flow in and he was soon resident at several club nights, usually playing drum & bass. In 2012 he discovered - and immediately fell in love with - the Berlin house & techno scene, and a year later moved there to further evolve his own style. He started producing his own music soon after, and has since gone on to release on established labels such as URSL, Connaisseur Recordings and Laut & Luise, receiving DJ support on his tracks from scene heavyweights such as Adriatique, Frankey & Sandrino, Super Flu and Adana Twins. 2021 then saw the launching of Schtu's own label - Casomat, with the debut release (Schtu - ‘Siberian Express EP') receiving a 10/10 review from German print magazine Faze Mag. He's since gone on to feature artists such as Murat Uncuoglu, Aldebaran, Johannes Klingebiel and Deckert on the label. More recently, Schtu has now added a live-set to his arsenal, with the debut performance being filmed at Grabowsee by production crew Berlin Brothers (link to video below). 2023 will see him continue doing what he loves most - writing music, collecting records and making people dance. Armed with a healthy collection of analogue gear he now has both the tools and the talent to step up his game and take his music to the next level. Открывает первый осенний эфир новейший релиз лейбла Dreamers, который уже получил постоянную прописку в моем радиошоу - это трек Ananda в авторстве венгерского музыканта Tibor Dragan. На одном из последних релизов популярного импринта All Day I Dream большой EP отметился популярный артист Lost Desert. Сегодня я представляю его совместный с голландцем Bona Fide трек No Strings Attached, который тронул меня своей вдумчивостью и мелодичностью. Австралийский кудесник звука GMJ у меня сегодня представлен релизом Mystic Sea от уважаемого рекординга Proton. На этот раз я выбрал не оригинальную версию от звездного представителя Мельбурна, а ремикс от набирающего обороты британского артиста Imran Khan. Работа обвешана великолепными гипнотическими рифами и красивыми пэдами - в Mystic Sea есть все, что мы привыкли слышать от талантливого музыканта GMJ. Мастерингом данного релиза занимался сам Cid Inc., а потому трек звучит именно так, как должен звучать качественно спродюсированный материал. Трек месяца в этот раз от популярного рекординга Last Night On Earth звездного супердиджея Саши. Это музыкант из Манчестера (где, кстати говоря и начинал свою карьеру Саша) Artche с хитовым треком Split Open и это безусловно большой релиз на Last Night On Earth. В данной работе мы слышим фирменное мелодичное звучание Artche, красивую вокальную партию и потрясающие синтезаторные линии - безусловный хит. Данский лейбл IbogaTech издал очень качественный трек Dream Walker от коллаборации Boundless и MS, который отлично звучит на экваторе эфира. Беларусский музыкант Dmitry Molosh снова отметился ярким релизом у Эрнана Каттаньо на Sudbeat. Это трек Elision, который поворачивает эфир в прогрессив русло и настает время для танцев. Польский музыкант Monojoke сделал потрясающий ремикс на трек Boreal Sunrise от Leo Delgado. Вот он, эталонный progressive, который издал швейцарский лейбл Another Life в 2020 году. Безусловно, данную работу я еще много раз буду доставать из своей диджейской папки, каждый раз наслаждаясь true progressive sound. Звездный американец Maceo Plex написал умопомрачительный ремикс на трек Let's All Pray For This World от Perry Farrell. Описывать такую музыку не имеет смысла, ее нужно просто слушать несколько раз кряду и каждый раз открывать для себя новые звуки и мелодии. Скажу лишь, что данная вещь в июле получила бы от меня безоговорочное звание TRACK OF THE MONTH, окажись на тот в момент в моей сумке. Британский продюсер и диджей Ed Steele знатно ремикшировал трек The Elements от Serge Landar, показав динамичную сторону progressive - свежайший релиз лейбла Balkan Connection, который меня очень радует в последнее время. В завершении программы ставлю релиз британского лейбла Selador от одного из его владельцев Стива Перри. Только оригиналу я предпочел вокальную ремикс-версию от талантливого турецкого ремиксера Murat Uncuoglu. В регулярной рубрике BONUS TRACK у меня сегодня наэлектризованная версия пластинки Rokit от уважаемого продюсера Jerome Isma-Ae. А наэлектризованная она потому, что за ремикс взялся немецкий ветаран клубно-танцевальной сцены Tomcraft приправив ее своим фирменным звучанием. Такой звук был очень популярен в 2006 году, откуда собственно родом данный релиз. Увидел свет данный ремикс посредством собственного импринта немца Craft Music, который очень успешно релизил винил в тот период времени. In the year of 2000 Yeat moved to Moscow, meanwhile picked up hobby collecting records and bedroom DJing. Years of collecting and practice, by the year of 2009 he started his professional career as DJ, playing in numerous clubs and bars of Moscow and Istanbul. (Noor Bar, 16 тонн, Бар “Редакция”, Paparazzi Bar, Солянка, Конструктор, WT4, #LOL, Time Out Bar.) In 2014, he launched his project Deep Fried Garage (Vk.com/Deepfriedgarage) which was focusing on US House and UK Garage side of electronic music. After a year of throwing events in prestigious clubs and booking artists from UK and US for DFG organisations. On the side, he also formulats private closed events in experimental places such as - Музей советских игровых автоматов and in abandoned buildings left for reconstruction at цветной бульвар. Which after few parties, because of it’s unusual format for a breif amount of time building as a speakeasy, known as Samoteka. Rather than declaring himself as a DJ, Yeat prefers to call himself a “music lover” since his record collection has wide range of genres from, Acid, Breakbeat, Deep house, Techno, Dub, IDM etc. In his words; "whenever I play a set, I tried it to be something whole, like a poem with an introduction-body-conclusion."
