Jacob Cohen has run a 5K in a dog crate, a port-a-potty, and on top of the Empire State Building–-and no, he is not stopping anytime soon. Before he was the internet's favorite 5K guy, Cohen was an investment banker in Atlanta, overweight and grinding through a banking job while his content dream sat on the back burner. Running, however, changed everything. It helped him lose more than 40 pounds, and a run club of full-time creators convinced him to hit record. He posted for a year to 2,000 followers before a joke 5K around his coffee table in October 2025 lit the fuse: it led to 100,000 followers in 50 days and a full-blown escalation of the most absurd run locations imaginable. In this conversation with Dominic, Cohen pulls back the curtain on the videos everyone's friends keep sending them. He addresses the skeptics head-on (yes, he really does the 5Ks; the watch accuracy is another story), reveals his most physically miserable run location, and explains why the World Cup crowd was in on the bit. He also opens up about the deeper mission: rejecting the unattainable, chicken-and-rice version of fitness the internet sold him at his lowest, and proving working out can actually be fun.Plus, his surprisingly generous take on David Goggins, celebrity collabs with Diplo, Bert Kreischer, Teddy Swims, and Casey Neistat, his dream Great Wall of China 5K, and why the biggest what-if of his life was simply pressing record.Tap into the Jacob Cohen Special. One week after the interview with Kim Lauder, executive director of the Help Centre, Northumberland County Warden Bob Crate came on the show to contradict her. He said that, on a scale of one to 10, the situation in which seniors face potential homelessness may be a four to six. Crate will talk about the state of seniors in the county, from affordable housing to unsheltered individuals. He will discuss what is being done and what also needs to be done. This includes the possible expansion of 310 Division Street. The warden will also talk about the recent Rural Ontario Municipalities Association (ROMA) conference he attended earlier this week. Many municipal politicians were also in attendance. Homelessness and housing were a major takeaway for him. Take a listen to see if you think the county is doing enough to help seniors and address affordable housing.

What if the most common point of failure in your digital customer experience: the 'no results found' page, could become your greatest opportunity for conversion and discovery?Agility requires not just adopting new technologies, but fundamentally rethinking core customer interactions, like search, that have remained static for far too long. It demands a shift from rigid rules to responsive, intelligent systems that learn from and adapt to customer intent in real time.Today, we're going to talk about the evolution of on-site search. For years, it's been a functional, yet often frustrating, utility for customers. But with advancements in AI, it's transforming from a simple keyword-matching tool into a conversational discovery engine that can anticipate intent and drive a more intelligent customer experience. To help me discuss this topic, I'd like to welcome Nitin Mangtani, GM and EVP of Agentforce Commerce at Salesforce.About Nitin MangtaniAbout Nitin MangtaniI am EVP & GM at Salesforce leading the Commerce Cloud and Retail Cloud team. In this edition of Somewhere in the Skies Classics, we revisit one of the most mysterious military encounters ever featured on the show. Former Air Force Security Forces officer Jeremy McGowan recounts a strange assignment in the Jordanian Desert in 1995, where he and another officer were ordered to guard a massive, unmarked crate with no explanation of its contents or purpose. During a nighttime watch, McGowan witnessed an unidentified object hovering directly above the crate, performing extraordinary maneuvers that defied explanation. As today's UAP conversation continues to unfold, this remarkable account takes on new relevance. McGowan walks us through the events of that night, the aftermath, and his theories about what was inside the crate, where it came from, and why whatever was in the sky seemed so interested in it. If you've ever felt confused, frustrated, or completely unprepared for perimenopause and menopause, you're not alone. For generations, women have been expected to navigate this major life transition with little information, limited support, and far too many unanswered questions. In this empowering episode of the V.I.B.E. Living Podcast, Lynnis Woods-Mullins sits down with Michelle Jacobs, co-founder of Womaness, to have an honest conversation about menopause, perimenopause symptoms, hormone therapy, and what women really need to thrive during midlife.Michelle shares her journey from leading product innovation for major consumer brands to co-founding Womaness, a company dedicated to helping women navigate menopause with confidence and clarity. Together, we explore some of the most common symptoms women experience, including hot flashes, night sweats, brain fog, sleep disruptions, weight changes, skin and hair concerns, vaginal dryness, and shifts in libido. We also discuss the growing conversation around hormone replacement therapy (HRT), why menopause education has historically been overlooked, and how changing medical guidance is empowering more women to advocate for themselves and seek answers that support their unique needs.Beyond symptoms and solutions, this conversation dives into the emotional side of aging. We explore how cultural messages about youth impact women's confidence, why community matters, and how simple daily practices like movement, curiosity, gratitude, and self-care can help women feel vibrant, strong, and empowered in every stage of life.Whether you're just beginning to notice changes or are well into your menopause journey, this episode offers practical insights, encouragement, and a refreshing reminder that menopause is not something to endure—it's a transition that can be navigated with knowledge, support, and confidence. If you enjoyed this episode, please subscribe, leave a review, and share it with a friend who could use a little more menopause support on her journey.BioCOO Michelle Jacobs and Co-Founder of Womaness, envisioned a world where 50 million women entering menopause had a place to go for education, inspiration, and real solutions. With a background in strategic development and brand building, Michelle worked for iconic brands like Polo Ralph Lauren and Lancôme before transitioning to the publishing world where she launched and developed retail business for Real Simple, Cooking Light and InStyle magazines with retail partners like Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Crate & Barrel. She then handled the Joy Manganao brand (yes, that Joy Mangano) who introduced the world to the Miracle Mop and Huggable Hangers. Many years and many brands later, the entrepreneurial urge hit, and Michelle knew it was time to establish a business of her own. What happens when you realize the life you built no longer fits who you're becoming? In this episode of Beyond Should, Lucy sits down with Michelle Jacobs, co-founder and COO of Womaness, to unpack reinvention, women's health, leadership, and the cultural narratives women inherit around aging. From walking away from corporate life to building a company dedicated to women in midlife, Michelle shares what it looked like to stop seeking approval, trust her instincts, and create something entirely new.Together, they explore why so many women feel disconnected from their bodies, the lack of education around perimenopause and menopause, and why midlife can become a powerful season of clarity, confidence, and reinvention. They also discuss women and risk-taking, investing in women-led businesses, and the importance of taking up more space.More about Michelle: Michelle Jacobs is Co-Founder and COO of Womaness, a brand changing the conversation around aging, midlife, and menopause through clinically and doctor-tested products that address symptoms from hot flashes to sleep to fine lines. Womaness is available on Womaness.com, Amazon, and Ulta Beauty.A strategic development leader, Michelle spent 20 years building brands before co-founding Womaness — spanning sales, partnerships, licensing, logistics, and financial management across categories from home and décor to health and baby. She began her career in licensing, then led client relationships for Polo Ralph Lauren and Lancôme at a digital media agency. After earning her MBA, she marketed billion-dollar brands like Centrum and Advil to retailers ranging from corner bodegas to Costco.Michelle later spent a decade at Time Inc., launching the licensing and retail business for Real Simple, Cooking Light, and InStyle with partners including Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Crate & Barrel. Guy Adami and Dan Nathan discuss an S&P 500 pressing all-time highs amid sticky inflation, a 10-year yield around the mid-4% range, and low near-term volatility despite an upcoming Fed meeting and PCE data. They review mixed retail signals (strength at higher-end brands versus Walmart's margin pressure and a strained lower-end consumer), debate the market's resilience, and focus on AI: Nvidia's explosive growth and concerns that soaring usage-based AI costs could challenge the “sanctity” of big-tech CapEx, alongside critiques of Meta layoffs and skepticism about SaaS firms overpromising AI. Guy then interviews Darrell Crate of Easterly, who outlines structural volatility, demographic-driven retirement needs, and hedged equity demand, argues small caps benefit from innovation, and describes Easterly Government Properties as a mission-critical government-lease REIT with an 8% dividend, no canceled leases, a $1.5B pipeline, and potential tailwinds from government efficiency initiatives and GSA changes. —FOLLOW USYouTube: @RiskReversalMediaInstagram: @riskreversalmediaTwitter: @RiskReversalLinkedIn: RiskReversal Media

What happens when you discover a wooden crate containing human remains under your family's lake house—and your brother becomes the primary murder suspect? In this powerful episode, author Debbie Levison shares her shocking true crime story "The Crate," which intertwines her Holocaust survivor parents' history with a present-day murder investigation. Debbie opens up about why she pivoted to fiction with her latest novel "A Novel Crime," how she copes with trauma through dark humor, and why writing fiction gives her control over chaos that real life doesn't offer. Key takeaways: the vulnerability of nonfiction writing, how Holocaust survivors reclaimed their sanctuary after violence, and why comparing yourself to other authors is universal.
