Your Kingdom Come, Pt. 1 | January 5, 2025Pastor Wes Morris Matthew 18:1-5 (GNT) At that time the disciples came to Jesus, asking, “Who is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?” So Jesus called a child to come and stand in front of them, and said, “I assure you that unless you change and become like children, you will never enter the Kingdom of heaven. The greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven is the one who humbles himself and becomes like this child. And whoever welcomes in my name one such child as this, welcomes me.√ God's Kingdom is an upside-down kingdom. Matthew 5:3-11 (NIV) Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.Matthew 6:9-10 (NIV) This is how you should pray: 'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.'√ Praying “Your Kingdom come” is asking God to rule over the world and in my life.Matthew 16:18-19 (MSG) You are Peter, a rock. This is the rock on which I will put together my church, a church so expansive with energy that not even the gates of hell will be able to keep it out.And that's not all. You will have complete and free access to God's kingdom, keys to open any and every door: no more barriers between heaven and earth, earth and heaven. A yes on earth is yes in heaven. A no on earth is no in heaven. LIKE A CHILDI. WONDER - Living in the fullness and awe of God's presence and goodness. Colossians 1:27 (MSG) This mystery has been kept in the dark for a long time, but now it's out in the open. God wanted everyone to know this rich and glorious secret inside and out, regardless of their background, regardless of their religious standing. The mystery in a nutshell is just this: Christ is in you.Hebrews 11:28-29 (NLT) Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping him with holy fear and awe. For our God is a consuming fire. II. HUMILITY - Laying down my pride and daily surrendering to God's will.Psalm 51:17 (MSG) Going through the motions doesn't please you, a flawless performance is nothing to you. I learned God-worship when my pride was shattered. Heart-shattered lives ready for love don't for a moment escape God's notice.I Peter 5:6 (NLT) Humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.III. TRUST - Depending on God and believing His promises, even when I can't see the full picture.  Matthew 6:33 (NLT) Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.

Matthew 6:33 (NLT) “Seek the Kingdom of God ABOVE ALL ELSE, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need.” If we approach Jesus' instructions from what Paul tells us in Colossians, when we give our lives to Christ, at that moment God transfers us into the Kingdom of His Son. And having this revelation, one of our priorities is, that we inspire and equip our next generation to embrace the righteous life of God's Kingdom.

Matthew 6:33 (NLT) “Seek the Kingdom of God ABOVE ALL ELSE, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need.” Jesus told His disciples, “Preach the gospel of the Kingdom, telling them the Kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Here's my prayer, that we inspire and equip our next generation to embrace the righteous life of God's Kingdom. Let this sink in, the Kingdom of Heaven is designed for complete reliance on the King and His way of ruling. (His Lordship) kingdom, the kings domain.

The Way to Win | May 12, 2024 Pastor Wes Morris Mark 8:31-35 (GNT) Then Jesus began to teach his disciples: “The Son of Man must suffer much and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests, and the teachers of the Law. He will be put to death, but three days later he will rise to life.” He made this very clear to them. So Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. But Jesus turned around, looked at his disciples, and rebuked Peter. “Get away from me, Satan,” he said. “Your thoughts don't come from God but from human nature!”Then Jesus called the crowd and his disciples to him. “If any of you want to come with me,” he told them, “you must forget yourself, carry your cross, and follow me. For if you want to save your own life, you will lose it; but if you lose your life for me and for the gospel, you will save it. ✓  Pleasing PeopleGalatians 1:10 (CEV) I am not trying to please people. I want to please God. Do you think I am trying to please people? If I were doing that, I would not be a servant of Christ. ✓  Pursuing PleasureProverbs 21:17 (MSG) You're addicted to thrills? What an empty life! The pursuit of pleasure is never satisfied.II Timothy 3:1-5 (ESV) But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. The Way to WinI. DIE TO SELF.Galatians 2:20 (NLT) My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.Romans 6:12-14 (GNT) Sin must no longer rule in your mortal bodies, so that you obey the desires of your natural self. Nor must you surrender any part of yourselves to sin... Instead, give yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life, and surrender your whole being to him to be used for righteous purposes. II. FULLY SURRENDER TO GOD.Matthew 6:33 (NLT) Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.Ephesians 6:13 (NLT) Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground...Mark 8:35 (GNT) “If any of you want to come with me,” he told them, “you must forget yourself, carry your cross, and follow me. The thief's purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life. John 10:10 NLT   For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.  Ephesians 6:12 NLT   'For wives, this means submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For a husband is the head of his wife as Christ is the head of the church. He is the Savior of his body, the church. As the church submits to Christ, so you wives should submit to your husbands in everything. For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her to make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God's word. He did this to present her to himself as a glorious church without a spot or wrinkle or any other blemish. Instead, she will be holy and without fault. In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as they love their own bodies. For a man who loves his wife actually shows love for himself. No one hates his own body but feeds and cares for it, just as Christ cares for the church. And we are members of his body. As the Scriptures say, “A man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.” This is a great mystery, but it is an illustration of the way Christ and the church are one. So again I say, each man must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband. Ephesians 5:22-33 NLT     CONNECTING WITH EACH OTHER   WHAT ARE THE THREE PRACTICAL WAYS TO CONNECT WITH MY HUSBAND   1. HAVE FUN WITH ME   “Come, my love, let us go out to the fields and spend the night among the wildflowers.” Song of Solomon 7:11 NLT   2. BE INTIMATE WITH ME   “Come, my love, let us go out to the fields and spend the night among the wildflowers.  Let us get up early and go to the vineyards to see if the grapevines have budded, if the blossoms have opened, and if the pomegranates have bloomed. There I will give you my love.” Song of Solomon 7:11-12 NLT   “Let your wife be a fountain of blessing for you. Rejoice in the wife of your youth. She is a loving deer, a graceful doe. Let her breasts satisfy you always. May you always be captivated by her love.” Proverbs 5:18-19 NLT   3. RESPECT ME   …and the wife must respect her husband. Ephesians 5:33 NLT   WHAT ARE THE THREE PRACTICAL WAYS TO CONNECT WITH MY WIFE   1. GIVE ME NONSEXUAL ATTENTION   You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry. James 1:19 NLT   To answer before listening— that is folly and shame. Proverbs 18:13 NIV   2. AFFIRM ME   How beautiful are your sandaled feet, O queenly maiden. Your rounded thighs are like jewels, the work of a skilled craftsman. Your navel is perfectly formed like a goblet filled with mixed wine. Between your thighs lies a mound of wheat bordered with lilies. Your breasts are like two fawns, twin fawns of a gazelle. Your neck is as beautiful as an ivory tower. Your eyes are like the sparkling pools in Heshbon. Song of Solomon 7:1-4 NLT   'When a man finds a wife, he has found a treasure! For she is the gift of God to bring him joy and pleasure. Proverbs 18:22 TPT   WHAT YOU FOCUS ON YOU BECOME PASSIONATE ABOUT!   3. BE THE SPIRITUAL LEADER IN OUR HOME. Ephesians 5:25-28 NLT   HOW DO WE GROW CLOSER TO EACH OTHER?   “The most important commandment is this…you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.” Mark 12:29-30 NLT   YOU GROW CLOSER TO EACH OTHER WHEN YOU GROW CLOSER TO GOD   PRAY TOGETHER EVERY DAY! “Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 NLT   “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.”Matthew 6:33 NLT

He thought to himself, ‘What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.' “Then he said, ‘This is what I'll do. Often, I have spoken on the topic of why spiritual prosperity must always come before financial prosperity. As a pastor for over 20 years, I have seen Christians receive financial success and then turn away from attending church and reading God's Word. God's Word has a wonderful scripture helping us understand the significance of spiritual prosperity prior to financial growth. We find it in Matthew Chapter 6, verse 33 (NLT) “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else and live righteously and he will give you everything you need.”

I love how the Message paraphrases how God describes His church in Ephesians, “I’m building a home, using all of you, irrespective of how you got here.” Remember, Jesus said, On the  revelation of who I am I will build my church. God is still calling believers together to love one another, pray for each other, and serve along side each other reaching their community for Christ. Truth is, serving is an invitation for Jesus to be more involved in our lives. He actually said that it’s a true sign of greatness. Finding Your Fit is a life long journey of surrender. Jesus actually told us, “Whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.” Christianity isn’t just believing, it’s belonging. Finding Your Fit is personally accepting the responsibility of advancing our purpose as part of His body in the earth. This is why we’re always encouraging you to get involved, because serving in your church is the most effective way you’re going to discover the gifts God has already graced you with. And regardless of where you are in your faith journey, don’t ever entertain the thoughts that you don’t have anything to offer. As we continue growing as disciples we find ourselves growing past just coming to church, and like His first disciples, we simply bring Jesus what we have and watch him us it. Today Jesus is telling us the same thing He told them, just give me what you've got and I'll work with it. Jesus says, give me your upbringing, your failures, your lack of experience, your fears and insecurities, and watch what I can do through you. As we grow in our relationship with Jesus, serving becomes part of our nature, not to mention, one of our greatest acts of worship. It’s where we discover Jesus at new levels. This is why being part of a local church has to be about more than just showing up to hear something. Hebrews 10:24-25 (MSG) Let’s see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out, not avoiding worshiping together as some do but spurring each other on, especially as we see the big Day approaching.  For all of us that consider ourselves disciples we can't just assume this will happen by itself. There's something about encouraging and helping out that's a big part of worship. Remember Paul writes, we’re all one body, with one Spirit, called to the same glorious future. He goes on to say, Jesus fits His whole body together perfectly. And as each part does it’s own special work, it cause the whole body to grow healthy and full of love. So never underestimate the significance of God orchestrating personalities, giftings and talents in making a local church unique. As we continue growing in our relationship with Jesus, there will be a shift in our thinking from it being just about us to those around us?  From coming to get something on Sunday, to bringing something. Jesus actually told us, the greatest among you will be servants. The truth is, the more devoted we are to Jesus, the more devoted we'll be to His church, the one He’s called us too. Ultimately, being part of a local congregation is where we worship together, grow together, we laugh together, hurt together, discover who we are together.  Think about it, what if we all come together, considering one another, exhorting one another, encouraging one another,What if we take responsibility for creating a loving, restoring, healing atmosphere? Acts 4:32 (MSG) “The whole congregation of believers was UNITED as one—one heart, one mind!” Ephesians 1:22 (NKJV) He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.  Scriptures like these bring clarity to our new life in Christ, not only individually, but also as a local congregation. This is why Proverbs tells us that when we're not open to Divine guidance, we're left to make our own decisions. But when we make ourselves available to His guidance, Kingdom advancement will be a priority to us. Matthew 6:33,NLT- Seek the Kingdom of God above all else... Think about it, right now, how teachable would you say you are? Our God ordained transformation only happens one way, and the more open and teachable we are, the more the Holy Spirit can express Himself through us, individually and corporately.  This is why understanding who we are as people of God, as living members of His body the Church, is crucial. Matthew 10:40 (NKJV) “He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me." What if tomorrow, what if next Sunday you’re the one someone sees Jesus through for the first time? Listen to Paul's prayer for us, I’m asking the God of our Master, Jesus Christ: To help you in knowing Him personally, To be focused and clear, So that you can see exactly what it is He is calling you to do. As a local congregation, something we should all help each other remember is that regardless of where we are in our faith journey, the same power that raised Jesus from the dead is still right where He said it was. (Peter) Something we have to keep in mind is having that God inspired unity is something our enemy will be relentless at trying to keeping us from, regardless of where we might be in our faith. Remember, David told us, God commanded His blessing where His people were unified. Acts 4:32 (MSG) “The whole congregation of believers was UNITED as one—one heart, one mind!” They were united around the fact that they were His body in the earth, the fullness of Him. Possibly one of the greatest things a local congregation offers are those God inspired opportunities to discover who we are in Him. This is why every service we should come ready, expecting, staying the course.  Think about it, what if we all come together, considering one another, exhorting one another, taking responsibility for creating an atmosphere where people can experience God. When we come together with a unified attitude, regardless of where we serve, our mentality across the board should be, the very thing we’re doing contributes to the possibility that today someone’s life is going to change. Ephesians 4:1-3,11-16 (NLT) Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. v2, Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. v.3, Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. v.11, Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. v.12, Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. v.13, This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ. v.14, Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth. v.15, Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. v.16, He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love. For all of us that consider ourselves disciples we can't just assume this will happen by itself.Finding your fit is key to who we are as part of His body.

HIGHLIGHTED BIBLICAL SCRIPTURES:(STAY FOCUSED)Luke 10:38-42 NLT As Jesus and the disciples continued on their way to Jerusalem, they came to a certain village where a woman named Martha welcomed him into her home. Her sister, Mary, sat at the Lord’s feet, listening to what he taught. But Martha was distracted by the big dinner she was preparing. She came to Jesus and said, “Lord, doesn’t it seem unfair to you that my sister just sits here while I do all the work? Tell her to come and help me.” But the Lord said to her, “My dear Martha, you are worried and upset over all these details! There is only one thing worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it, and it will not be taken away from her.”2 Timothy 1:6-7 "For this reason, I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands, for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control."Philippians 3:13-14 "Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."John 3:31 "He who comes from above is above all. He who is of the earth belongs to the earth and speaks in an earthly way. He who comes from heaven is above all."Mark 1:35 In the early morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house, and went away to a secluded place, and was praying there.(FAITH)1 Timothy 4:10 "For to this end we toil and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe."1 Peter 2:5 NLT And you are living stones that God is building into his spiritual temple. What’s more, you are his holy priests. Through the mediation of Jesus Christ, you offer spiritual sacrifices that please God.John 14:1 Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in MeMatthew 6:25 “For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?(GOD KEEPS HIS PROMISES) Matthew 6:33 NLT Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.Titus 1:2 "...In hope of eternal life, which God, who never lies, promised before the ages began..."1 John 3:1-2 "See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is."Galatians 3:28-29 "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to promise."Colossians 2:13-14 "And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross."Titus 3:3-7 NLT Once we, too, were foolish and disobedient. We were misled and became slaves to many lusts and pleasures. Our lives were full of evil and envy, and we hated each other. But—When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit. He generously poured out the Spirit upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior. Because of his grace he made us right in his sight and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life.Follow Go Creator Go & Triumph MediaWorks:FACEBOOK & IG: @gogreatorgo & @triumphmediaworksTWITTER: @gcreatorgwww.triumphmediaworks.comBUY THE GO CREATOR GO BOOK & JOURNAL:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GV2DK1Vhttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GVJ6MP5

Problem Solving When It's Foggy

Problem solving is no problem...   when the situation is clear cut and dry. But most problems come will a cloud of fog  that seems to envelope the whole situation. So how do you navigate through difficult situations when you can't see clearly?    When my coffee was ready I headed for the back porch with my cup. I was excited to drink in all the Fall color beauty, but I couldn't see anything. A bank of fog covered everything. I expected the fog to lift at any moment so I had my devotions on the porch; it didn't lift.   I went inside to start my work, peeking outside every half hour or so, but the fog didn't lift at all that day. In fact it got worse before it got better. That cloud of dewy wetness covered my porch leaving the cushions too moist to use.   As I strained my eyes to see I thought about times I've had to navigate through problems that I couldn't see what my next step should be. Some of those times I have been  more successful than other times.   As I stared at that fog I was reminded of 3 words that can help us be better problem solvers when we can't see clearly.     When it's foggy you can access   1. Hindsight 2. Insight 3. His Sight   Hindsight Remember what you already know.   That's important because our mind goes to go ballistic on us! It wants to go off on the deep end, what if such and such happens? That feeds fear and fear makes our thinking foggy.    When I look out from my porch at the fog I remind myself, it's really beautiful out there. I can't see it, but I know there's incredible beauty hiding inside this bank of clouds.     We are so quick to forget. So do what David did in the Bible at Ziglag. He encouraged himself. He rehearsed what God had done in the past.   Rehearse your victories.   What has God done for you in the past?   If you're a new believer or having trouble remembering then go to Scripture and use some of those accounts.    Remind yourself how good God is. Remind yourself and begin to praise God for His great goodness, power and mercy. The God that delivered 3 men from a fiery furnace is still working miracles today!   If you don't have a list of victories you should get you a notebook or file on your computer and start writing them down right now.   Lamentations 3:21-23   21Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: 22Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. 23They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.   Jeremiah was intentional. Intentionally feed your spirit. Remind yourself, so you don't lose hope, so you don't lose your way!   Insight   Insight helps us answer the question, "What is really going on here?" Most folks want to deal with the fruit and not the root. That only perpetuates the situation. Insight comes from wisdom and understanding.   Ask for wisdom about your situation. Ask for understanding, so you can approach the situation appropriately. A person without understanding uses a hammer to kill a fly. Don't do that. Seek wisdom. Seek understanding.    Psalm 119:99 NIV I have more insight than all my teachers, for I meditate on your statutes.   Proverbs 5:1 NIV My son, pay attention to my wisdom, turn your ear to my words of insight,   Ask for wisdom.    James 1:5 NLT If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.   I know you know to do this, but the power of the verse is not just knowing you need to ask, but in actually asking God for wisdom. Then take the time to listen. It's just rude to ask a question and then not take the time to listen.   His Sight   We totally understand that when we stand on the top of a mountain we can get a better viewpoint. From that viewpoint we may need binoculars to see the redbird in the tree or details below, but that viewpoint gives us a broader perspective.    Oh dear friend, I want to remind you that God sees it all. His viewpoint is wide and deep. It  is  both immeasurable and microscopic. God says my thoughts (Isaiah 55:9) are higher than your thoughts. His viewpoint is from a perspective that allows him to see the situation as it really is. The exciting part of this is that He wants to share His perspective with you.    Psalms 32:8 NKJV  I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.   Seek His will.   NLT Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.   NIV in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.   Don't forget. He is with you in every situation. Good and bad.  He knows the best path for you to take. He will show you even when everywhere you look is foggy!   God bless you. Remember I'm praying for you. God has a good plan for your life. You are an overcomer.   If you were encouraged please share this podcast with a friend and/or rate my podcast.   For more information you can go to my website. patriciaholland.org.

Is Jesus King of kings and Lord of lords? Were his disciples right to praise him and celebrate his entry into Jerusalem as royalty entering into his home city? Or were some of the Pharisees who were there too correct in telling Jesus to stop his disciples from treating him like he was the King of the Jews? Jesus responded to his opponents by saying: “If they kept quiet, the stones along the road would burst into cheers!” (Luke 19:40, NLT) Jesus' view was that while some people didn't recognise him as King of kings and Lord of lords, the creation itself recognised him as such. Metaphorically speaking, creation would have praised him, if people didn't. (See also Romans 8:19-25) While it is easy to praise Jesus entering Jerusalem, it is possible that some of his disciples were not true believers, and were among those who called for him to be crucified not very long afterwards. Public opinion can be fickle, joining in with celebration Jesus on the one hand, then turning against him later. But true discipleship, true worship, includes obeying Jesus. For example, he two disciples who were given a job to do (to fetch the donkey) and who did it without complaint, without asking why he needed it, and without delay. Another example in this passage is the owners of the donkey, who readily allow the Lord Jesus to have it. They could have asked “which lord”, because the word could have referred to 'master' or 'lord' in a variety of ways. But they knew of only one lord that mattered, Jesus. It is good to sing praises to Jesus, but better to obey him. (See 1 Samuel 15:22) “So you must live as God’s obedient children. Don’t slip back into your old ways of living to satisfy your own desires. You didn’t know any better then. But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy. For the Scriptures say, “You must be holy because I am holy.”” (1 Peter 1:14–16, NLT) If we reject him, we will be rejected by him on the last day, just like he told those in Jerusalem that because of their rejection of him, that they would suffer destruction in years to come. “God ... commands everyone everywhere to repent of their sins and turn to him. For he has set a day for judging the world with justice by the man he has appointed, and he proved to everyone who this is by raising him from the dead.” (Acts 17:30–31, NLT) “Seek the LORD while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near. Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the LORD that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously.” (Isaiah 55:6–7, NLT) If we do not accept Jesus as Saviour and King of kings and Lord of lords in our lives today, we will have to acknowledge him one day in the futureas the Lord over all, when we no longer have a chance to accept him as our Saviour. “Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:9–11, NLT) Today, make Jesus King and Lord in your life, if you haven't already done so: Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.” (Matthew 11:28–30, NLT)

My groans come from an anguished heart.   (John 5:39) (MSG) You have your heads in your Bibles constantly because you think you'll find eternal life there. But you miss the forest for the trees. These Scriptures are all about me! And here I am, standing right before you, and you aren't willing to receive from me the life you say you want.   (Revelation 22:17) “The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!' And let him who hears say, ‘Come!' Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.”   How do you live again?    1. Respond to the invitation.   (Isaiah 55:1-2 NLT) “Is anyone thirsty? Come and drink— even if you have no money! Come, take your choice of wine or milk— it's all free! Why spend your money on food that does not give you strength? Why pay for food that does you no good? Listen to me, and you will eat what is good. You will enjoy the finest food.”   2. Renew your relationship with God.   (Isaiah 55:3 NLT) “Come to me with your ears wide open. Listen, and you will find life. I will make an everlasting covenant with you. I will give you all the unfailing love I promised to David.”   3. Repent of everything that is in the way.   (Isaiah 55:6-7 NLT) “Seek the Lord while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near. Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously.”

Title of my message is: The Values (John 16:13) (NLT) “When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future.”(Psalm 39:4-5) (NLT) “Lord, remind me how brief my time on earth will be. Remind me that my days are numbered—how fleeting my life is. You have made my life no longer than the width of my hand. My entire lifetime is just a moment to you; at best, each of us is but a breath.” (James 4:13-14) (NLT) “Look here, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we are going to a certain town and will stay there a year. We will do business there and make a profit.” How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the morning fog—it's here a little while, then it's gone.” (James 4:15-16) (NLT) “What you ought to say is, “If the Lord wants us to, we will live and do this or that.” Otherwise you are boasting about your own plans, and all such boasting is evil.”(James 4:17) (NLT) “Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it.” How do I maintain values?1.    Turn when into now. (Mark 10:27) “…all things are possible with God."(Psalm 118:24) (NLT) “This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.” 2.    Turn intentions into actions.(James 4:17) (NLT) “Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it.”(1 John 3:18) “Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.” 3.    Turn my whole heart toward Jesus.(Mark 12:34) “When Jesus saw that he had answered wisely, he said to him, "You are not far from the kingdom of God."” (Matthew 6:33) (NLT) “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.”
