    Rob Senderoff- The Quiet Consistency of a Winner

    ​⁠ talks with the all-time winningest coach in Kent State's history, Rob Senderoff. Outside of taking a two year hiatus where he took his career to Indiana University to coach under Kelvin Sampson, Senderoff has spent the majority of his coaching career at Kent State. In 2011, Senderoff took over as the head coach and has never had a losing season since then. He joins Mark Few and Tom Izzo as the only coaches to never have a losing season (minimum 10 seasons coached). His 288 wins rank 7th all-time in MAC history. Some of his coaching highlights include being awarded the 2022 MAC Coach of the Year, leading Kent State to their first MAC tournament title since 2008, and leading Kent State to nine 20+ win seasons. This past season the Golden Flyers finished the year 24-12 and upset St. Bonaventure and Stanford in the NIT tournament.     Jahn Hines- CNU's Greatest: 4x All-American, 1 Unforgettable Legacy

    Jahn Hines, Christopher Newport's first 4x All-American joins this week's episode of ​⁠. Hines originally committed to Hampden-Sydney post leading Norview high school to a state championship. Soon after he committed to Hampden-Sydney, he decided to decommit and take his talents to Christopher Newport. His first season was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Since then, Hines has been recognized as an All-American each year. His career was highlighted by leading CNU to their first ever National Championship in the 2022-23 season. Hines led the team averaging over 17 points and just under 6 rebounds. The following year Hines repeated as the Coast to Coast Player of the Year and led the Captains to another NCAA tournament appearance. This past season capped off his legendary career- once again being named the C2C Player of the Year. The fifth year averaged a career high 19.9 points per game along with 6.9 rebounds.     Josh Merkel- Building a D3 Dynasty at Randolph-Macon

    Head coach of Randolph-Macon College joins this week's episode of ​⁠. Josh Merkel is only the 5th coach in the history of the RMC men's basketball program. Merkel came to Randolph-Macon after previously leading Salisbury. At Salisbury, Merkel led to the first conference championship since the late 90's. Now at the helm of RMC, Merkel arguably has had the most successful decade of coaching in college basketball. In 10 years Coach Merkel has been awarded ODAC Coach of the Year 7 times with an overall 129-19 record in conference play.Merkel was the recipient of the 2022 Division 3 Coach of the Year after the Yellow Jackets captured the school's first ever national championship. The 2024-25 season was another successful season as his program was one of the best defensive teams in the country finishing the year with a 24-5 record.     Newburgh, NY native Amarri Monroe joins this week's episode of ​⁠. Monroe was a standout player for Newburgh high school before taking his career to South Kent playing in the NEPSAC. He would be a highly recruited player coming out of prep school, and eventually committed to Wofford College.Monroe would only spend one year at Wofford before committing to Quinnipiac University where his career took off. After his first year playing for the Bobcats he earned all-conference recognition. This past season (2024-25), Monroe was awarded MAAC Player of the Year after averaging over 18 points and 9 rebounds per game.Many people expected Monroe to transfer to play high major basketball when the news came out he was in the transfer portal. He heard from a majority of the high major, historic programs, but ultimately decided that playing another year at QU was best for his career. Through conversations with four black/minority head coaches. Dominic Parker is currently the head coach at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and just finished his first season leading the Tigers. Donald Morris has been the head coach for Framingham State for the past four seasons.Michael McClendon will be heading into his fourth season as the Springfield head coach.     Pat Skerry- Building a Winner: Rebuilding Towson to the Top of the CAA

    2024-25 CAA Coach of the Year, Pat Skerry, joins this week's episode of ​⁠. When Pat Skerry was hired at ​⁠ in 2011, the program had 15 straight losing seasons. Now, Skerry has led the basketball team to four straight 20+ win seasons. The 2024-25 season was special for the Towson men's basketball team. On top of having the coach of the year, Towson won the CAA regular season championship for the second time in four years. Tyler Tejada was also named the CAA Player of the Year. Skerry has been a longtime coach including stops at Pittsburgh, Providence, Rhode Island, Charleston, and current league competitors William & Mary and Northeastern.     Brandon Linton- Making History at Tufts, One Season at a Time

    Brandon Linton, current head coach for Tufts University, joins this week's episode of ​⁠. Linton has been involved in coaching from the minute his playing career at Clarkson University finished. Linton has had coaching stops at his alma mater (2010-12), Bowdoin College (2012-14), Army West Point (2014-19), and Nichols College (2019-21) where he got his first head coaching opportunity. He finished his first year coaching Nichols bringing them their fourth straight CCC championship. The following year was cancelled due to the pandemic. Linton took his career to Tufts during the summer of 2021 when he was hired as the next men's basketball head coach. The 2024-25 season marked Linton's fourth year leading the Jumbos and in those four years he compiled a 76-32 overall record. This past season marked history as the team made their third straight NCAA tournament appearance and third straight 20+ win season, both never been done in Tufts basketball history.     Dejour Reaves- Grinding Through Every Level, Still Rising

    The most recent Fordham MBB commit, Dejour Reaves, joins this week's episode of @Notevend2 . Dejour planned on returning to play for Iona for his final year of college basketball until an unexpected firing of his head coach occurred. After a dominant 2024-25 season averaging over 17 points per game, 1st team All-MAAC player entered the transfer portal. Reaves committed to Fordham University where he'll be playing under Coach Magpayo.Reaves dominated in high school at Corcoran, becoming the school's all-time leading scorer. Besides his success, he wasn't recruited by any Division 1 schools, which led him to attend JUCO at Trinidad State. Reaves led Trinidad State to back-to-back region titles. After JUCO, he committed to Northern Colorado where he was an all-conference player. Now preparing for a year playing in the A10, Reaves has big time goals for himself.     Luke Barrett- Betting on Himself at One of the Nation's Top Mid-Majors

    A former walk-on to a starter at St. Mary's (California), Luke Barrett joins this week's episode of @Notevend2 . In the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, with no Division 1 offers, Barrett committed to the University of Pomona Pitzer (Division 3). Soon after his commitment, he heard from the St. Mary's coaching staff that a walk-on roster spot was available for him. Barrett ultimately decommitted from the D3 school and walked on to play for the Gaels.Barrett held the walk-on role for his first two years of college basketball. After those two years, Luke worked his way up to be a scholarship basketball player. Barrett continued to work hard throughout the years and as St. Mary's continued their success, so did he. Tray began his college career at Saint Rose where he spent two seasons before transferring to Florida Southern College. His last stop would be Pace University. During his first year returning back to the NE10, Alexander was awarded all-conference and defensive 1st team. The 24-25 season was special as Alexander became the first player in Pace history to ever win the NE10 Player of the Year honors. He finished the year #2 in the country in assists (8.7) and steals (2.9) per game. In just two years Alexander finished 2nd on Pace's all-time assists leader board.     Zach Laput- Dominating D2, Testing Himself at Davidson

    2x NE10 Player of the Year, Zach Laput, joins this week's episode of ​⁠ . After a dominant four years playing Division 2 for Bentley University, Zach transferred to play Division 1 for Davidson College in the Atlantic 10.At Davidson Zach played various roles and was a consistent contributor for the Wildcats. The graduate student averaged the 4th most points (8.5) while fluctuating in and out of the starting lineup.Before playing mid major basketball, Zach dominated at the Division 2 level. In 3 years, Laput scored just under 1700 points and was named a D2 All-American in his final two seasons playing for Bentley.The Connecticut native attended HS at Notre Dame where he was an all-state selection. Brazil, 2024-25 ODAC Player of the Year, has led Hampden-Sydney to another trip to the Sweet 16. The senior guard is currently averaging 18.2 points per game. Chozen Amadi was named to the 2024-25 SCIAC 1st-team after ranking in the conference's top 10 in points, steals, and three point percentage. The 2024-25 UAA Player of the Year, Tristan How has been dominating Division 3 in his lone year playing at this level. How averages a double-double while shooting an impressive 55.2 percent from the floor.     This week's episode of @Notevend2 features Melvin Council Jr. Melvin grew up in Rochester where he attended high school at Greece Athena and UPrep. The standout guard committed to play for Monroe Community College for his first two years of college basketball (2021-23). After two years of being recognized as a NJCAA all-american, Council committed to Wagner.At Wagner, Melvin led Wagner to their first conference championship since 2003. Council was named 1st-team All-NEC during a campaign averaging 14.9 points and 5.7 assists. Melvin's name began to buzz after leading Wagner, as a #6 seed, to a conference championship. After winning the NEC, Wagner had to play in the First Four game in the NCAA tournament. Council had a historic performance to lead his team to victory over Howard. In just one season playing in the NEC, the Wagner star entered the transfer portal.The rising senior heard from plenty of high major schools after his run during March Madness. Council ended up committing to St. Bonaventure to play in the A-10.     Octavio Brito- Keene State G.O.A.T?

    Octavio Brito, two time Divison 3 All-American joins this week's episode of @Notevend2 . Brito is a Rhode Island native and has dominated the LEC during his time at Keene State. After winning the LEC Rookie of the Year in the 2021-22 season, Brito finished his sophomore and junior seasons as an All-American. During his team at KSC, Octavio has won the LEC championship every year. Brito is closing in on the all-time Keene State scoring record and one of few to ever be a 3x All-American. Now in his final year playing for the Owls, the senior is playing at his highest level. Octavio is averaging 22.9 points per game (11th in the country) while leading Keene State to another #1 seed heading into the conference playoffs. KSC has been nationally ranked in the top 25 for most of the year and will be on every teams radar going into the NCAA tournament.     ​ @Notevend2 talks with NYU's standout guard, Hampton Sanders, on this week's episode. Hampton grew up in South Brunswick, New Jersey and graduated from Lawrenceville High School. After his senior year of high school, Sanders played AAU for Rod Wave Elite (RWE). The popular AAU program founded by Cam Wilder took off over the last few years and Hampton has remained a popular name surrounding the program. Hampton committed to @NYUAthletics ahead of the 2023-24 season. That same year the Violets won a shared UAA conference title. This year, the Violets picked up right where they left off, as they are currently ranked #2 in the country. Hampton, now with a bigger role, is averaging 12 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists as one of the most efficient players in Division 3. Currently holding a 21-1 (10-1) record, Hampton and the rest of the NYU team have high hopes for the rest of the season. Jalen Haynes grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he ended up playing high school basketball under legendary coach Darryl Burrows. After graduating high school, Haynes did a post-grad year at @montverdeacademy . The Florida native attended the prep school during Covid-19 when Monteverde had future NBA players, including Jaren Duran and Andrew Nembhard. After a dominant post-grad year, Haynes committed to Virginia Tech. Haynes played one year for the @hokiesports ; during his one year, Virginia Tech won the ACC championship (2021-22). Jalen transferred after his first year at Virginia Tech to East Tennessee State University. Haynes finished his lone year at ETSU as an all-conference player that averaged 14.6 points per game and 6.4 rebounds per game. The standout big man entered the transfer portal once more heading into the 2023-24 season. Jalen heard from plenty of Power 5 schools, and ultimately choose @georgemasonuniversity . Haynes redshirted his first year, but is now having a very efficient season playing in the Atlantic-10. George Mason is currently 20-5 (11-1) with Haynes playing a major role averaging north of 12 ppg and 7 rpg.     Curtis Harris-Lopez- The Next Step: JMU & Eyeing the NFL

    Patriot League football standout, Curtis Harris-Lopez talks on this week's episode of @Notevend2 Harris-Lopez played four years at Holy Cross and in each year the free safety contributed to consecutive Patriot League titles. During his final year at Holy Cross, Harris-Lopez was an all-league player. Curtis dealt with injury during his first year resulting in a redshirt year. Now, after completing his career at Holy Cross, Curtis has one year of eligibility left. The all-league player entered the transfer portal and heard from plenty of FBS schools, including some Power 5 schools. The dynamic free safety narrowed his final schools to Hawaii, Wyoming, and James Madison. The prior year the Holy Cross head coach, Bob Chesney, along with plenty of Curtis' teammates left to join the JMU football program. This made Curtis' decision fairly simple. Now committed to play for the Dukes, Harris-Lopez has plans to continue the success with Chesney and prior staff that they had at Holy Cross.     Felix Kloman- Two Levels, One Passion: Brown to Babson

    Felix Kloman, four year basketball player at Brown University, joins this week's episode of @Notevend2 . Felix was a standout player in high school playing for Pingree School in Massachusetts. Out of high school Felix had few Division 1 offers, but coach Mike Martin and his staff offered Kloman late in his senior year of high school. Felix committed to play for Brown University going into the 2020-21 season; unfortunately his first season was cancelled due to the Covid pandemic. Kloman played in limited minutes for his next two college seasons following his freshman year, until senior year when he started 18 games during one of Brown's best seasons under coach Martin. With one year of eligibility left, Felix entered the transfer portal. After hearing from schools at all three divisions, Kloman committed to play for Babson College. The grad student is off to a great start of the season averaging an efficient 18.8 ppg. Babson will be in contention for an NCAA tournament appearance due to the addition of Kloman.     Justin Allen- Carnegie Mellon's Scoring Sensation

    Jusin Allen, one of the best players in all of Division 3 joins this week's episode of @Notevend2 . Justin grew up in White Plains, NY and attended Fox Lane high school. Allen committed to the only UAA school that recruited him, Carnegie Mellon. Allen has continuously increased his production since his freshman year. He completed his sophomore year as a 1st team UAA player, and breaking Carnegie Mellon's single season scoring record with 557 points (21.4 ppg). After his breakout season, Allen entered the transfer portal where he heard from over ten Division 1 schools. Justin decided to stay with the Tartans and picked up right where he left off. The junior is currently the 2nd leading scorer in Division 3 (26.8 ppg). Justin recently broke the school's single game scoring record that hadn't been broken since the 1958 season. During his 50 point performance, Justin shot 9-13 from three which broke the programs single game three pointers made record.     Pat Juckem- WashU, Division 3 Success, and Justin Hardy's Inspiration

    This week's episode of @Notevend2 features the head coach of #5 ranked, Washington University in St. Louis, head coach Pat Juckem. The Bears are currently 10-1 heading into UAA conference play. Juckem got his first head coaching job in 2005 at Coe College; in seven seasons at Coe, Juckem finished 104-80 (.565). Juckem's career took off when he got the job at UW-Oshkosh. UW-Oshkosh became a WIAC force and national contender under Juckem. During the 2017-18 season, UW-Oshkosh made a run to the Division 3 National Championship. Although Juckem would leave the following year for WashU, Oshkosh would continue the success and complete the quest of winning the first National Championship in program history. WashU hired Juckem ahead of the 2018-19 season. Since then, Juckem has not had a losing season and has yet to finish below 3rd place in the UAA. Of the many great players that Juckem has coached, Justin Hardy has to be amongst the top. Hardy passed in 2022 due to stomach cancer but his impact and inspiration around the sports community is still strong today.     Ryan Cain- Building a Legacy at Every Stop

    2nd year head coach of Johns Hopkins men's basketball team, Ryan Cain, joins this week's episode of @Notevend2 . Coach Cain played college basketball at Worcester Polytechnic Institute where he finished his career as one of the best players to ever play at WPI. Cain was awarded the 2007 Jostens Trophy; the yearly award given to the most outstanding Division 3 player. After finishing his playing career with a 89-20 record with the Engineers, Cain coached for his alma mater for the next eight years. During his time on staff alongside legendary coach, Chris Bartley, WPI never finished a season with less than 20 wins. In 6 of the 8 seasons, Cain helped the Engineers to NCAA tournament appearances. After his 8th season, Cain took his first head coaching job at Keene State in 2015. Cain turned Keene State into a national powerhouse. The two-time LEC Coach of the Year led the Owls to 5 NCAA tournament appearances, including two sweet 16 and one elite 8 appearance. The Owls finished the 2022-23 with a 28-2 record; after a successful year, Cain left Keene State to take the job at Johns Hopkins University. During his first year with Hopkins, Cain led the team to a 20-7 record. Now in his second year, Cain looks to build upon a successful year in the Centennial Conference.     Major Freeman, Siena men's basketball leading scorer, joins this week's episode of @Notevend2 . Major played high school basketball at Archer high school in Atlanta, Georgia. A four year starter at Archer HS took the JUCO route out of high school. Major played two years for Spartanburg Methodist in South Carolina. In both years, Spartanburg won over 20 games with Major as the starting guard. In his second year, the sophomore averaged over 15 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Freeman was recruited by over 40 Division 1 schools after his JUCO career concluded. In the summer of '24, Major committed to Siena college to play under first year head coach Gerry McNamara. Siena is currently 5-7 (1-1 MAAC) with Major leading the team in scoring (14.3).     This week's episode of @Notevend2 features professional trainer, Mitchell Kirsch. Mitchell has grown into one of the top trainers in the North East- specifically in his home state, New Hampshire. Mitchell has changed the culture of training within basketball by using the constrain-led and skill acquisition approach during his training sessions. Kirsch started his college career in California where he attended Claremont-Mudd Scripps. After four years of basketball playing for the Stags, he transferred to Babson College. A successful college career opened opportunities for Mitchell to play professionally overseas in Columbia. A short overseas career led Mitch to get into the player development field. His evidence based trainings became the lead method in the state of New Hampshire.     Dave Paulsen- Coaching Beyond the Court: D3 Glory to Patriot League Greatness

    Dave Paulsen, the current head coach for Holy Cross men's basketball team, joins this week's episode of @Notevend2 . Coach Paulsen has been coaching since the late 80's and has a ton of knowledge that he gives throughout the episode. Paulsen played basketball for @WilliamsCollege and would later lead Williams to the programs first, and only, National Championship. Paulsen finished his career coaching the Ephs with a 170-53 record- giving him the 2nd most wins in Williams basketball history. After a successful career at Williams, Paulsen moved on to coach at Bucknell University. In his first head coaching role at the Division 1 level, coach Paulsen won three Patriot League Coach of the Year awards ('11, '12 & '15). Under Paulsen, Bucknell became the first Patriot League team to win three consecutive regular season titles. Paulsen currently holds the highest winning percentage in Bucknell history (.588). A big part to Bucknell's success was the addition of future NBA player, Mike Muscala. Muscala was a two-time Patriot League POTY while competing against future NBA all-star CJ McCollum. Coach Paulsen left Bucknell after seven seasons (2008-15) to coach at George Mason University and Fordham University. Paulsen coached plenty of players that would eventually become successful professional players, including Tyler Kolek. In 2023, Paulsen took the head coaching job at Holy Cross; in his second year leading the Crusaders, he's led the program to wins over high major programs, and the teams first conference tournament win since 2019. The Crusaders are currently 5-4 with 4 more games until Patriot League play begins.     Nevada Smith- Marquette Basketball, G-League Insights, and Offensive Innovator

    Marquette men's basketball assistant coach, Nevada Smith, joins this week's episode of @Notevend2 . Nevada played college basketball at Bethany College where he led the school to back-to-back conference championships, while leading Division 3 in three pointers made during his senior year. Nevada coached at various Division 3 schools, including: St. Lawrence, Allegheny College, SUNY Canton, Ithaca College and Keystone College. Coach Smith's career shifted to the professional level when he got connected with Daryl Morey and the Houston Rocket's staff. Nevada was the head coach for the Houston Rockets D-League affiliate, Grand Valley Vipers, before becoming the head coach for the Miami Heat D-League affiliate, Sioux Falls Skyforce. Oklahoma City Thunder's head coach, Mark Diagneualt became a close friend of Coach Smith as the two coached against each other in the D-League; Diagneualt eventually connected Nevada with Coach Shaka Smart at the University of Texas. Coach Smith and Smart moved on to coach together at Marquette. The 2024-25 season marks the 4th season Nevada has coached for Marquette. Marquette has made the NCAA Tournament every year since Coach Smith has been a part of the staff. Boyes is currently having one of his best seasons; the veteran quarterback has thrown 24 TD's with just one interception and ranking in the top 5 nationally in completion percentage (72%).     Matt Becht- 3 Schools, 3 Surgeries, Dominance at SNHU, and the Journey back to D1 Basketball

    @Notevend2 talks with 2023-24 1st Team All-NE10 player, Matt Becht on this week's episode. Matt Becht attended high school in Virginia where he played for Bishop O'Connell. After a successful high career, Becht committed to Mount St. Mary's. Early in his freshman year, Matt suffered a knee injury that required surgery. That would only be the start of the adversity Matt faced during his college career; in just two years playing for the Mountaineers, Becht went through three surgeries. Matt entered the transfer portal after his second year, and would commit to Division 2, NE10 member, Southern New Hampshire University. The next three years playing for the Penman would be filled with success; in three years Becht averaged over 14 ppg in every year, and shot 45% from three in his final two years with SNHU. In 2023-24 SNHU won a NE10 championship and made a run all the way to the D2 NCAA Elite 8. With one year of eligibility left, Matt entered the transfer portal where he would hear from plenty of Power 5 and high major schools. Becht committed to Merrimack for the 2024-25 season. Merrimack competes in the MAAC conference and kicks off their season Saturday (11/9) against Vermont.     The 2023 AFCA Division 3 Coach of the Year, Curt Fitzpatrick joins this week's episode as we talk in-depth about his successful football career. Coach Fitzpatrick currently leads the #2 ranked team in the country- the Cortland Red Dragons. Fitzpatrick made history in 2023 becoming the first coach to lead SUNY Cortland to a national title. Curt talks about his playing career, as one of the best players to play at St. John Fisher University, and the impact this had on his coaching career. After his playing career, Fitzpatrick was the assistant at both, Utica University and St. John Fisher. 2013 would be the first head coaching job for Fitzpatrick where he spent the next seven seasons leading the Morrisville Mustangs.     Jace Rindahl - From Warhawk Star to Coach: His Football Journey

    .Current head coach of University of Wisconsin-Whitewater's football team, Jace Rindahl joins this week's episode of "Not Even D2". Prior to leading the Warhawks, Jace played four years (2005-08) for UW-Whitewater where he played in four straight national championships. His junior year (2007), him and his team won the first ever national championship in UW-Whitewater history. Jace would follow that with becoming a D3 football Defensive Player of the Year in his senior year. Post playing career, Rindahl would become the linebackers coach during a dominant UW-Whitewater run. Joining Coach Leipold's (current Kansas football head coach) staff the group would win three straight national championships- winning 46 straight games. Coach Rindahl would work his way to defensive coordinator before being named head coach in 2023. The Warhawks were ranked #3 in the d3football.com top 25 rankings, and currently rank #10. In Davidson's last year at HSC, his team would finish with a programs best 31-3 record- including a National Championship appearance. At the Division 2 level, Myles rushed for over 1,600 yards in just two years and became the #5 all-time leading rusher in school history. Myles then entered the transfer portal where he heard from plenty of Division 1 schools; Myles would eventually commit to Morgan State.     The first ever local Hong Kong woman basketball player to play in the NCAA, Yannie Chan, joins this week's episode of "Not Even D2". Yannie committed to Emmanuel College in February of 2021; a decision that will be remembered for Yannie and others in Hong Kong forever. Yannie was a GNAC all-conference player as a freshman. The next year she would be the 2022-23 GNAC Player of the Year. Just before her sophomore season, Yannie competed for Hong Kong's national team in the Asian Games. This would lead her to be a part of more Hong Kong history as the team won their first ever game competing in the Asian Games. Due to injury, Yannie did not compete in the 2023-24 season for Emmanuel. After the year being sidelined, she would enter the transfer portal where Division 1 schools became interested in the Hong Kong native. Chan committed to play for Iona this summer, and will compete for the Gaels during the 2024-25 season. Da'Kquan is from Philadelphia and played on one of the most successful high school teams in PA- Roman Catholic. After much success at Roman Catholic, 'Showtime Quan' broke Arcadia University's scoring record in just 3 years; scoring over 1,500 points. Due to a shortened senior year, Quan received a 5th year of eligibility where he would end up transferring to the University of Albany. It didn't take much time for Da'Kquan to get adjusted to the Division 1 game, and he finished his season as the 3rd leading scorer for the Great Danes. Legendary coach, David Hixon spent 42 seasons coaching at Amherst College- his alma matter. During his 42 seasons, Hixon won over 800 games which currently has him ranked 15th in most wins in men's college basketball.     Current Director of Middlesex Magic, Michael Crotty Jr., joins this week's episode of, "Not Even D2". Before taking over the Magic program, Crotty was a star Division 3 player. In his final two years of college basketball, Crotty Jr. appeared in 2 National Championship games and was an All-American PG for Williams College. After much success during his playing career at Williams and professionally overseas, Crotty Jr. worked for the Boston Celtics from 2005-08. He was the Director of Player Development for the Celtics during the franchise's 17th championship. Crotty Jr. is now the director of one of the most successful basketball programs in the country.     2023-24 2nd Team All-Summit League and 2022-23 D3hoops.com Most Outstanding Player, Raheem Anthony joins this weeks episode of "Not Even D2". The Chicago native started his college career at the University of St. Mary's (Minnesota). Raheem was a top player in the MIAC early on in his career. He finished his final year at St Mary's averaging 24.6 points per game- winning the MIAC offensive player of the year. During his college career, a MIAC team, St. Thomas was voted out of the conference for "competitive parity". As St. Thomas moved up to Division 1, Raheem soon joined the former competitors and spent his final year playing for the Tommies. Raheem spent no time leaving an impact on St. Thomas as he currently holds the programs Division 1 single season record in rebounds and single game record in points. Anthony finished his season being voted an All-Summit league player. Elyce was a 3x All-American and CCIW POTY at Millikin College (D3) before transferring to Illinois State (D1) for her final year of college basketball. The star player averaged 26.3 points per game this past season- scoring just under 800 points in her final year at Millikin College. This gives her the scoring record at now Millikin and her high school, Tolono Unity.     Todd McGuinness, current head coach of Case Western Reserve University men's basketball team joins "Not Even D2" on this week's episode. Before leading Case Western Reserve, McGuinness was the head coach at Hartwick College from 2009-2016. The former Empire 8 Coach of the Year brought the Hartwick program to new heights- making the NCAA tournament four straight times and winning the first E8 title in program history. His success has followed him now at CWRU with his teams setting program records for wins in a season back-to-back years, and making the NCAA tournament the past 3 seasons.
