Although Mother's Day is not a liturgical feast, it provides an opportunity for Catholics to life their gaze to their heavenly mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary. This day also invites us to consider the role mothers play in the life of the family and the Church, for motherhood is a spiritual work directed toward the formation of souls in cooperation with God's grace.View on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MFGbCbkjmwI Subscribe to receive every sermon here: https://sspx-sermons.captivate.fm/listenSee all our Sermons: https://sspxpodcast.com/sermons/Donate: https://sspxpodcast.com/faq/#donateView on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@SSPX

We all love to hear about the grace, mercy and love of God. And rightly so. But there is another side to the "God coin." God is holy and righteous. He must be reverenced, and His word honored by learning it and keeping it as closely as we can. He is our Creator, the Most High, and as He Himself says in Malachi, "a great King." Israel and Achan learned a hard lesson about reverencing God.

In this sabbath morning's sermon, we begin looking at what it is to reverence the sanctuary of God. When we reverence the sanctuary, we reverence the LORD- when lightly we esteem the sanctuary, lightly we esteem the LORD. We also consider what fearful things have happened in the sanctuary of God, in both the Old and New Testament administrations of the Covenant of Grace. Next, we discuss the fearful thought of the LORD departing from the sanctuary in judgment. Finally, we take a look at the positive and encouraging promises to His people with regard to the sanctuary.
"This is going beyond just knowing our cycles and loving our bodies, but loving who we are as persons and recognizing the person in front of us." When Bridget Busacker got engaged, she and her now-husband started looking for a natural family planning method to start them off. But the research process showed that this wasn't as simple as they thought. Wanting to take action in the fertility awareness space, she co-founded Managing Your Fertility, a one-stop shop for women to learn more about and compare different NFP methods. Her hope is to build out the space and make an impact in women's health, not only for herself, but for her daughters and future generations. In this episode, Bridget and I talk about how she became interested in charting and fertility awareness, how she started Managing Your Fertility, and how becoming a mother empowered her to jump head first into this work full-time.Here are the show notes for this week's episode: https://www.femininegeniuspodcast.com/post/episode-83-wholeness-fertility-awareness-and-reverencing-our-bodiesYou can learn more about Managing Your Fertility by checking out their website, managingyourfertility.com, and you can follow them on Instagram and Facebook @managingyourfertility. Finally, Bridget has a podcast where she dives into everything that we talked about, and so much more! When it comes to repairing broken relationships among the peoples of this earth, we would do well to revisit the foundational doctrine of the Most Blessed Trinity. On the occasion of Trinity Sunday, Fr. Eric reflects on common errors with regards to the doctrine of the Trinity; as well the significance of our being made in the image and likeness of the God who Himself is mystery (cf. Gen 1:27), particularly in terms of how it affects our sense of self-worth and how we relate to other people. Episode 13: Bodyset: Loving and Reverencing Our Bodies – With Dr. Andrew SodergrenJohn Paul II, in Theology of the Body. The body is the sacrament of the person – there is a certain sacramentality of the body. A sacrament makes something present, manifest in a concrete way. The Body reveals the personhood. The body is essential for human beings in order to relate. The body is essential for prayer. Some heresies devalue the body (e.g. Manicheanism). God in his infinite holiness took on our human flesh. This elevated the dignity of the human body. Our bodies are designed for a sacred purpose, like the sacred vessels for the liturgy. Like we care for the sacred vessels, we need to care for our bodies. The way we dress can adorn the body or debase the body. It is valuable to reflect on how I have fallen short of honoring my body and those of others.

Walking in the fear of the Lord means reverencing him and referencing him in all we do. Reverencing him means we recognize, acknowledge, and honor who he is because he is king. Referencing him means we seek him, trust him, and obey him because he is our compass.
