Stephanie is joined by friend and 2022 Major League Rugby Champion, Sam Windsor! When they first met in 2018, Sam tried teaching Steph how to play rugby - and this shows how passionate Sam is about growing the game in the US. Sam grew up in Australia and his love for rugby started at a young age. His career brought him to Houston followed by New York.This year has been HUGE for Sam and Rugby New York since they just won the 2022 MLR Championship! Sam takes us back to that big day and also gives advice to aspiring players. 

Ric Salizzo is New Zealand sports broadcasting royalty – journalist, television presenter and producer – turned rugby consultant in New York. Ric started his career as a journalist with TVNZ before becoming the All Blacks' first ever media liaison officer in 1992. Prior to that he pioneered sports media coverage producing the behind-the-scenes documentary The Good, the Bad and the Rugby which kickstarted a series of follow ups over the years. After four years inside the All Blacks camp he then created, and hosted the wildly popular Sports Café, a cult hit which ran for 11 years creating some memorable TV moments and turned Marc Ellis and Leigh Hart into household names. He then moved behind the camera as the executive producer of The Crowd Goes Wild, which has been running for 16 years. Now based in New York working in Major League Rugby, Ric shared some of the best bits from his career. It's so hot, in fact, that Josh Ressio couldn't come anywhere near the studio this week and had to be taped separately. We still managed to get Josh's take on St. Mary's struggles against UCLA and Cal's utter domination of Arizona and GCU this weekend, as well as Arknasas State's place in the college rugby landscape after being shut out by Lindenwood. Speaking of Lindenwood, their women's team opened their spring season in hopes of defending both the 7s and 15s national titles that they claimed last season. Will Life be the ones facing them in the D1 Elite Championship again this year? Or have they been removed from contention for daring to play against NCR teams in the fall? And finally, if you're an Iona Gael, make sure you take precautions this weekend! Colby thinks all of it's alumni have been cursed after some bad injury luck with the guys on Rugby New York.
