Jack and Josh take some time to fully examine why the 2012 Adam Sandler and Andy Samberg comedy That's My Boy resulted in Happy Madison's biggest finacial flop since Little Nicky. Was it the premise? The cast? Or the unfortunate scheduling dilemma of following Jack and Jill? Follow @TruHapMad on Twitter and Instagram Email us at truhapmad@gmail.com
we’re back to discuss our favorite champion of the pod, Adam Sandler. but before that we discuss blink-182’s fast paced banger “The Only Thing That Matters” with new friend of the pod, Sam Bailey. We also watch some youtube, plead to bring back feminizing names with an “ette,” and a special appearance by an old friend.

This week on Enter Sandman we talk about Andy Samberg, masculinity, and (for some reason) Macklemore! In this episode: Moises asks Paul Rudd to slide into his DMs. Kellin says "ya know" a lot and I tried editing most of them out but I said it a bunch and I'm really embarrassed about it. Welcome to the Billy Gilmore podcast, our show for Adam Sandler fans around the world. On this episode of the podcast, we're looking back at the 2012 comedy THAT'S MY BOY, co-starring Andy Samberg.
We've got a prime Jim Carey here, facing off against a past-his-best Adam Sandler, desperate for one last big win. 1997s 'Liar Liar' v 2012s 'That's My Boy'. Sandler's production was slated as one of the worst films ever made upon it's release, so surely it'll be a walkover for Liar Liar? Put your feet up, press play and find out. Welcome to the Billy Gilmore podcast, our show for Adam Sandler fans around the world. You'll hear that at the beginning and then we'll jump right into the episode with special guest Caroline Smith, Wilson's twin sister. This is a real twin-twin scenario. Thanks for listening and we'll see you soon for THAT'S MY BOY.

Watching the "Joker" for the second time was surprisingly difficult. Not because the movie was too intense, but because its hard to watch a film for the second time. It was an attempt for sure. I cant understand how people can rewatch movies over & over or reread books over & over. Its an utterly tedious process. Once its done, there is no return to that original moment. That's just how reality is. The film seems to go completely stale upon second watch. There are minor exceptions like when I rewatched "That's My Boy" however in general, its a No Go. Don't even try to reread a novel or a non fiction.....
How do! In the last of our episodes before a wee Xmas break, we tackle a film of Adam's choosing. In another Just Films & that first we discuss a film that was more or less universally panned by critics - the 2012 Adam Sandler film, That's My Boy. So, why would Adam pick this? Well the answer may surprise you! Go on and give it a listen! After this we will be taking a short break to recharge the batteries for Xmas (except Al who we just have to keep plugged into the mains). Massive thanks to everyone for all your support this year. Xander had some great input and theories and we can't thank him enough. Join us this week as we delve into the alcoholic rage induced film that is 'That's My Boy'. Five-time Emmy winner Bill Persky has led a charmed life in show business. Handpicked by comedy legend Carl Reiner to write (and eventually produce) "The Dick Van Dyke Show," Bill and partner Sam Denoff scripted many of the series' most memorable episodes, including "Coast to Coast Big Mouth" and "That's My Boy." Later, the duo would create the groundbreaking sitcom "That Girl" and write comedy specials for Bill Cosby and Mary Tyler Moore and Bill (now flying solo) would go on to produce and direct hit shows like "Kate & Allie" "Welcome Back, Kotter" and "Who's the Boss?". Bill sat down with Gilbert and Frank to talk about his journey through the golden age of TV comedy and working with EVERYONE -- including Steve Allen, Bob Hope, Tim Conway, Julie Andrews, Gene Kelly, Peter Sellers, and Orson Welles (to name but a few!). During the recording of Empire's 27th podcast, the sound desk exploded (slightly), forcing the team to relocate to a different studio. Because of this, the audio on our interview with Lawless' director and writer (respectively), John Hillcoat And Nick Cave, is slightly on the shonky side - but fortunately they're both excellent and informative humans beings, so it all evens out. What's more, Chris and company also get the chance to review Dredd, Anna Karenina and That's My Boy, as well as discuss the best on screen deaths in cinema.

Tommy (AKA T3, AKA Eric St. Vaughan) calls into the FUHcast Hotline to thank Bill for coming out to see him perform at Resistance Pro wrestling's "Taken By Force" event in downtown Chicago. The extremely needy and annoying FUHcast studio cat makes a surprise appearance. FUH reviews a YouTube personality who just isn't quite up to snuff. Movie Talk kicks off with another one of Jim's SPOILER FREE review of Prometheus; but not before the guys take a moment to make fun of crappy domestic beer and scarf wearing hipsters. The appeal of movies like Rock of Ages and That's My Boy are discussed, along with my Adam Sandler needs to die a quick Hollywood death. Find out what it would sound like if Tim Allen had sex with John Travolta while Adam Sandler watched. Paramount Pictures' problems are discussed, covering the fate of G.I. Joe, TMNT, and the money sucking suck fest that is World War Z. Matthew Fox is summed up and thrown under the bus (where he'll punch the driver's vagina). Bill and Jim imagine how Hollywood would remake the beloved children's classic Marry Poppins. Learn how George W. Bush lost the game of thrones. Bill has fun with the digital sound dropper at Jim's expense, until the dropper decides to have fun with Bill. Ohio is not the place you want to be if you're a yiffer, as discovered by an Ohio resident who enjoys intercourse with teddy bears. Saying we have a full slate this week is probably an understatement. With no less than 5 movies hitting theaters this week it's going to be a toss up for what's going to get our full attention. As far as major movies go Tom Cruise channels his inner Bret Micheals in the 80's rock musical 'Rock of Ages'. Adam Sandler puts on a mullett wig and his favorite accent in 'That's My Boy', not to mention the indie festival fav's 'Saftey Not Guaranteed' and 'My Sister's Sister'. I'm hesitant to say well get to everything else, but you know us...we'll find a way. Tune in and give us a call Sunday night at 7!
