Hey Guys! I'm so excited to share this conversation I had with Ace Harris on faith, creativity, sacrifice, and what it means to surrender everything to God.In this episode, Ace shares his journey from discovering music in the church, to working in the Christian music industry. And we touched on topics like the tension between art, commerce, and ministry, how beauty and creativity can point people back to God, and why our heart posture matters in everything we build. We also discuss Altar Aesthetics, Christian influence, success, discipline, and the cost of following Jesus when He asks for the very thing we love most.My prayer is that this episode encourages you to ask: is the Lord truly sitting on the throne of my heart, or have I placed something else there?Tune In Now!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

In Totality Podcast is back this week with a powerful conversation with Laurie Krieg on sexuality, surrender, marriage, parenting, and the love of God.As parents, many of us feel anxious or unprepared when it comes to conversations around sexuality, puberty, pornography, identity, and culture. Laurie gives such practical wisdom on how to talk to our children with truth, grace, clarity, and love without panic or shame.Laurie shares her testimony of wrestling with same-sex attraction, sexual brokenness, shame, and the deeper longings beneath desire: the need to be seen, known, chosen, and loved. Together, we talk about how those longings are ultimately met in Jesus, and how God's love does not just expose what is broken, but empowers us to surrender, heal, and walk in freedom. This episode is for anyone who has struggled with shame, anyone who wants to better love people without compromising truth, and any parent, mentor, aunt, uncle, youth leader, or discipler aiming to guide the next generation with a gospel-centered view of sexuality.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

What's up family?I've been thinking a lot about what it means to be faithful with anything that God has placed in our hands, especially when we may not always feel confident, qualified, or sure of where we fit, in the space of ministry.Sometimes we may look at other people's gifts, platforms, ministries, or callings and wonder if what God is doing in us is enough. But the more I sit with it, the more I'm reminded that growth is not always measured by platforms, numbers, titles, or visibility. Sometimes the deepest growth is what God is doing quietly in our hearts. In this episode, I talk through wrestling with the insecurity of being a woman in ministry, keeping the focus on Christ, and learning to trust that our testimony is enough when it points people back to the Savior. For anyone who feels unsure of their place, insecure in their calling, or tempted to compare what God is doing in their life to someone else's, I pray this episode reminds you that where God has you matters. Your home matters. Your local church matters. Your dorm matters. Keep the main thing the main thing: Christ, His glory, and making Him name known wherever He sends you.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
What's up family? This week i'm back with a conversation on anxiety, surrender, and the peace of God.I've been going through Philippians 4 and what it means to bring everything to God in prayer: every request, every worry, every need, and every anxious thought. So often, we say we trust God, but our minds are still racing and our hearts are still carrying what He invited us to surrender. I talk through making our requests known to God with thanksgiving, the difference between reading scripture and truly meditating on it, and how His peace guards our hearts and minds in a way nothing else can. This episode is for anyone feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or tired from trying to figure everything out on their own. I pray this reminds you that God is not asking you to carry it alone. He is inviting you to come to Him, trust Him, and receive the peace that only He can give.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

This week, I'm humbled and honored to bring you a conversation with someone whose ministry has made a huge impact in my walk recently— Pastor and Author Francis Chan. If you've been with me this season of In Totality, you know I've been taking my Patreon community through his latest book, Beloved, and this conversation is one that I've been praying for— and I cannot wait for you to hear it.Beloved has deeply shaped how I see my relationship with God. It confronted something I didn't even realize I was doing — trying to serve Him from a place of striving and performance, like I could somehow pay God back, instead of simply receiving His love as a daughter.Francis and I talk about what it means to know God as Father — not just as Judge or Lord or the One we serve — and how easy it is to miss the very thing we were made for: enjoying Him.We get into the difference between performing for God and truly abiding in Him, and why His love has to stay at the center of everything. You are going to want to listen to this more than once!My prayer for you is that this episode helps you slow down, receive, and remember — you are not just called to love Him. You are invited to remain in Him.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

So many of us are living with an identity shaped by the world, our feelings, our achievements, our past, our pain, our personality, or what other people have said about us. But scripture gives us a different foundation. Our identity is not something we discover inside ourselves; it is something declared by God.In this episode, I'm here with the team talking through what it means to be created in the image of God, reborn in Christ, and no longer defined by the old self, and I really enjoyed this conversation! We talk about why following your heart is not enough, why adding Christ onto parts of your life is different from being fully surrendered, and why true transformation is not renovation. it is resurrection. This conversation is for anyone who has been asking, “Do I really know who I am in Christ?"My prayer is that this episode reminds you that you are loved, adopted, justified, and called to live faithfully, not perfectly, but surrendered.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

This week I'm super excited for you guys to listen in on this episode! I'm joined by Trey Heflin, who you may be familiar with if you follow 2819 Church's worship team. This season has been anchored in John 15, where Jesus reminds us to remain in His love. In this episode, that invitation continues through a conversation about worship, surrender, obedience, and what it truly means to give God your whole life. This is Trey's first-ever podcast appearance and I'm so honored he's here with us! We talk about the pace and responsibilities of ministry and stewardship, and learning how to slow down enough to hear God in the stillness. He shares how worship became more than music for him, and how true worship is not just the songs we sing, but the life we live in response to God's nature. This episode is for anyone who yearns to hear from God or learn how to worship Him with more than words. I pray it reminds you that God is not just after a moment. He is after your heart, your life, and your yes.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
Who was Tertullian—and why does he still matter to Christians today? In this episode of Apostolic Life in the 21st Century, Dr. David K. Bernard explores the life, writings, and lasting influence of one of the most significant figures in early church history. Hey guys! We also unpack healthy boundaries, how to rely on community when dating, the voice of the Holy Spirit, and so much more.If you've been asking God for wisdom in relationships, struggling to trust Him with your future, or struggling to discern what faithfulness looks like in this season, this conversation is for you.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
In this weeks episode, I'm reflecting on what it means to truly rest in the steadfast love of God.So many of us are walking through seasons that feel uncertain, painful, and stretching. Maybe you've been trying to stay faithful, but if you're honest, you're tired. Tired of waiting. Tired of praying. Tired of not understanding what God is doing. In this conversation, I wanted to slow down and anchor us in the truth that God's love is not shaky, conditional, or fleeting. It is steadfast and secure. This episode is for anyone who feels weary, confused, pruned, or stretched thin in this season. My prayer is that it reminds you that God has not forgotten you, He has not changed His mind about you, and He is still faithful in the middle of whatever you're carrying.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
I'm so grateful to have Dr. Joel Muddamalle on the podcast. He has a gift for making theology genuinely accessible without dumbing it down. Real scholarship plus real humility. That combination is rarer than it should be.Joel holds a PhD in theology, serves as Director of Theology and Research at Proverbs 31 Ministries, co-hosts the Therapy and Theology podcast with Lysa TerKeurst and Jim Cress, and is the author of The Unseen Battle, which is exactly what we get into today. We start with humble theology and what it actually means to come to Scripture in submission rather than mastery. Then we move into spiritual warfare, and if you grew up in a church that either blamed everything on the enemy or avoided the subject entirely, this conversation is going to reframe a lot. Joel frames spiritual warfare not as individual skirmishes, but as a long-running conflict between rival households: God's family versus a counterfeit one ruled by rebel powers. We also talk about isolation as one of the enemy's most effective tactics, the tension of living in the already-but-not-yet, and how to wait well in the middle of prolonged seasons that just won't resolve. Listen to this episode and then get the book. And go ahead and get the paper copy so you can underline it.Dr. Joel's Website: https://www.muddamalle.com/Dr. Joel on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/muddamalle/Dr. Joel on Substack: https://humbletheology.muddamalle.com/Dr. Joel's Books and Bible Studies: https://www.muddamalle.com/booksTherapy and Theology Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/therapy-and-theology/id1641587501

This week, I share about the recent unexpected loss of one of my longest and dearest friends, and the ways this particular grief has reshaped my perspective.I talk about the tension of suffering and faith, how trials expose why we truly follow Christ, and why grief for the believer is never without hope. I reflect on scriptures like 2 Corinthians 1, 1 Peter 1, Matthew 5, and 1 Thessalonians 4, and how they've anchored me through one of the hardest seasons I've walked through in a long time. This conversation is for anyone who may be mourning, carrying disappointment, or trying to understand how God's goodness still stands in the middle of pain. My prayer is that this episode reminds you that God is near to the brokenhearted, He wastes nothing, and even now, the Holy Spirit is present to comfort you.Bring your lament directly to the Father, and invite Him to meet you in the midst of your sorrow.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
In Part 2 of this conversation, I continue my discussion with Pastor Rich Tidwell as we go even deeper into the topic of Christian Zionism and what it truly means to think biblically in a VERY politically charged world.Building on Part 1, we further examine the theological arguments surrounding Israel, challenge commonly held assumptions, and reinforce the biblical truth that no nation (past or present) is above God's standard of righteousness. We also discuss the danger of allowing political alliances or emotional ties to override clear scriptural teaching. This episode pushes the conversation further, calling Christians to spiritual consistency: to stand for truth, reject erroneous partiality, and remain rooted in God's Word above all else. Our ultimate allegiance is not to any earthly nation, but to the Kingdom of God.If you're seeking clarity, conviction, and a deeper understanding of how to navigate these complex issues faithfully, this is a conversation you won't want to miss.--Follow Pastor Tidwell on X: https://x.com/richtidwell--https://www.youversion.com/bible-app
In Part 1 of this two-part conversation, I sit down with Pastor Rich Tidwell to examine the widely discussed topic of Christian Zionism and what Scripture actually calls Christians to believe and practice.Should believers automatically support everything Israel does, or are we called to something deeper and more discerning? Together, we break down the foundation often used to justify unconditional support and biblically challenge the idea that any nation or people group is exempt from God's standard of righteousness. This episode is a call back to consistency in the Christian life where truth is not based on politics, emotions, or alliances, but on God's Word alone. If you've ever questioned how to faithfully navigate modern geopolitical issues as a Christian, this conversation will help ground you in a more biblically sound perspective.Stay tuned for Part 2, where we continue digging even deeper into this very important discussion.--Follow Pastor Tidwell on X: https://x.com/richtidwell--https://www.youversion.com/bible-app

Hey fam, we are back this week with a conversation that I think so many parents need.A major part of my life is being a mom, and in this episode I wanted to slow down and talk about what it really means to raise children in a home where God is not just a topic we bring up when life goes wrong, but the theme of the home itself. So often, parenting can become focused on behavior, structure, and getting through the day. But as believers, we are called to more than just raising well-behaved kids. We are called to make disciples in our homes. In this episode, I talk about what it looks like to build a daily cadence of discipleship with your children through prayer, scripture, devotionals, honest conversations, and simply making the Lord part of everyday life. This episode is for the parent who feels the weight of responsibility, the mom who wants to lead her children well, the dad who wants to build a Christ-centered home, and anyone wondering how to take simple but faithful steps toward discipling the children God has entrusted to them.I pray this episode reminds you that you do not have to be a perfect parent to be a faithful one.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Hey guys! We are back this week with a conversation about something so many believers wrestle with: can you really follow Jesus without being deeply connected to His people? In this episode, we talk about why Christianity was never meant to be lived alone. In a culture that celebrates independence, self-protection, and doing faith on your own terms, it can be easy to believe that prayer, worship, and Bible reading are enough without real accountability, correction, or fellowship. But when we look at scripture, we see that God has always called His people to live in community. We unpack what it means to be part of the body of Christ, why isolation can quietly stunt spiritual growth, and how healthy biblical community helps shape us, strengthen us, and keep us rooted in truth. We also talk honestly about church hurt, disappointment, fear of vulnerability, and why past pain can make it difficult to trust people again, especially within the church. This episode is for anyone who has been trying to walk with God on their own. My prayer is that this conversation reminds you that while finding community can be tough, it's also one of God's gifts for our growth, healing, and endurance, and I pray this episode encourages you not to give up on what God has designed for your good.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

This week, I'm back with the team to talk about the importance of pausing to pray and seek God's direction as Christians, before we publicly respond to things online, or create content for public consumption that dishonors others. We're living in a time where everyone feels pressure to react quickly, share every opinion, and defend every point of view. But as believers, we are not called to move at the speed of society. We are called to move in step with the Spirit. And sometimes that means being quiet long enough to pray, examine our hearts, and ask whether what we're about to say is actually producing the kind of unity Jesus prayed for.If you've felt grieved by the division online within the Christian body, or even if you've been trusted with your own platform and wondered, “Do I need to respond to everything?” or “How do I stand firm without sowing division?” I pray this episode reminds you—not every moment needs your reaction, but every moment does require a thoughtful response in love.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
In this episode, Lucas Mack sits down with returning guest Brenden Whitney for a deep conversation about faith, truth, and the nature of reality. Brenden shares his personal journey from Mormonism to Christianity and how that transition reshaped his understanding of Jesus, scripture, and spiritual authority. Together, Lucas and Brenden explore why Jesus remains the most influential figure in human history and why that matters in a world filled with competing belief systems. The conversation moves into deeper territory as they discuss sovereignty, free will, and the mystery of whether even darkness and evil ultimately serve a greater divine purpose. Along the way they examine ideas surrounding biblical numerology, the human genetic code, hidden historical narratives, and the possibility that the modern world may function more like a deceptive “matrix” than we realize. Rather than promoting fear, Lucas and Brenden challenge listeners to reject manipulation and rediscover personal freedom through truth, faith, and spiritual hope. This episode invites you to question what you've been told about reality—and to consider the possibility that true liberation begins with seeing clearly. https://www.instagram.com/brenden.whitney/ Thank you for listening – if you're struggling to break free and need support – go to my website and www.lucasmack.com. This week, I'm reflecting with the team on my experience witnessing Jackie and Jordan practice obedience during the Blameless concert weekend that took place in February. We're talking about what it means to fix our gaze on Jesus when fear, doubt, and uncertainty can cause a hesitation to obey. In Matthew 14, we see Peter walk on water only while his eyes are fixed on Jesus, but the moment he focuses on the wind and the waves, he begins to sink. And honestly, it's the same way for so many of us when it comes to trusting God. But Jesus is so kind. When Peter began to sink, he called out to Jesus, and Jesus reached for him. And He does the same for us.Join the conversation as we explore what it looks like to trust God in the midst of fear. We discuss the tension of wanting to believe the Lord is faithful while battling uncertainty, and how faith is often not the absence of fear, but the practice of fixing our gaze on God in everything we do, until we see our complete assignment through to the end. This episode is for anyone who feels like they've been sinking under the weight of anxiety, doubt, or fear and it's keeping you from saying Yes to the Lord. I pray this reminds you that He is not distant in our struggle. He is near, steady, and faithful.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
Send a textSkiing is fun. Apparently. (And so is pretending we didn't ghost you for six months.)Episode 128 is a pure catch-up chaos special: Jesse, Jen, and Evan reconvene to explain where the heck they've been, why the show went dark, and what it might look like to keep this thing alive from afar.We dig into:The “we've been busy” recap (translation: life exploded) Evan being “back”… but also not back… but also kind of back The plan: try this again for ~6 months, likely one episode a month, while figuring out remote recording logistics Grassroots updates: new building, Craig as part-time pastor, plus others speaking A quick Lone Canary plug: new album Dime Store Horses, vinyl, and a potential CO/NM/(maybe) Dakotas tour routeEvan's update: now lead pastor at Morning Star Friends Church (Quaker), adapting “missional community” thinking in a more conservative, wealthy suburban context And the big teaser: Evan is writing a book tentatively titled Igniting Suburbia about missional life in the suburbs Then, because it's us, we debate whether “AF” is still cool and brainstorm renaming the show into something extremely unserious. So crack open an NA beer, throw a ketchup pun at your friends, and tell us what topics you actually want—because if y'all don't interact, Jen threatened to quit again.

In Totality Podcast is back for a season 3 return this week! This season is anchored in John 15, where Jesus says, “Remain in My love.” And so I want to slow down with you and allow scripture to call us back to something we forget so easily: joyful obedience doesn't come from striving, it comes from abiding. So many of us are trying to follow God from a place of pressure, like we have to earn closeness, approval, or prove we're “doing enough.” But Jesus doesn't invite us into performance. He invites us into relationship. Into a life where we stay connected to Him, and the fruit comes from finding Joy in our lives with Him, not from dreaded works. As I read and reflect, I talk about what this can look like in real life: when you've been “doing all the right things” but you're losing joy, so your relationship with God starts to feel transactional. We talk about identity, living as sons and daughters, not as servants, and what it means to receive His love before you try to get your life together on your own. This episode is for anyone who feels tired of trying… tired of striving… tired of carrying their walk with God like a weight. If you've been asking, “Why does obedience feel so hard?” or “Why do I feel far even when I'm doing everything?” I pray this reminds you: you don't need to try harder, just abide in Him.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
This week, I'm sharing another special moment from the live podcast back in October, where I'm reading through 1 Thessalonians 5, and letting Scripture bring us back to what we forget most easily: who we are in Christ. This passage is such a steady reminder that we are children of light. We're not called to live in fear, anxiety, or spiritual numbness, but to stay awake, anchored, and strengthened in the Lord. As I read, I share what this could look like in real life: choosing patience with one another, leaning into community, praying with and for each other, and learning how to give thanks in all things… even when it's not easy. This special episode is for anyone who's felt discouraged in their growth, frustrated with the process of patience, or tempted to forget the miracle of what God already did on the cross. If sanctification feels slow and obedience feels heavy, I pray this reminds you: God is faithful, He is keeping you, and your identity has already been secured.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

What if Christianity was never meant to be about escaping earth for heaven, but about God coming home to the world? In this episode, I sit down with N. T. Wright for a wide-ranging conversation that reclaims the Bible's larger story: heaven and earth meant to overlap, God dwelling with humanity, and new creation beginning now. We explore temples and tabernacles, resurrection and judgment, what it truly means to be human, and how the church is called to reflect God's presence in a fractured world. Drawing from Wright's latest book God's Homecoming, this conversation invites youto rethink faith, hope, justice, and the future of the world and to rediscover a gospel that is far bigger, richer, and more grounded than we thought.N. T. Wright is the former Bishop of Durham in the Church of England and one of the world's leading Bible scholars. He is Senior Research Fellow at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford University, and Senior Editor at Saint Andrews. He has been featured on ABC News, Dateline, The Colbert Report, and NPR's Fresh Air. Wright is the award-winning author of many books, including Paul: A Biography, Simply Christian, Surprised by Hope, The Day the Revolution Began, Simply Jesus, After You Believe, and Scripture and the Authority of God.N.T. In this week's episode of In Totality, I'm back with my girl Dinorah Peña for Part 2 of our conversation. We talk through the moments after the “yes”, when obedience is heavy, sanctification feels slow, and trusting God isn't as simple as it sounds. We share about the struggle of delighting in the Lord, turning away from pride, and depending on the Holy Spirit during times of anxiousness. This conversation is full of raw truth for anyone in a season of obedience without clarity. If you've ever asked, “Why is this walk still so hard?” Or felt alone in your becoming, we pray this reminds you:You're not behind. You're being refined. God is still with you, even now.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
In this week's episode of In Totality, I'm joined once again by my girl Dinorah Peña, and we had a really great conversation about all the things! What started as a casual conversation turned to a Spirit-led dialogue on what it looks like to meditate on God's word and truly lean on the Holy Spirit, the weight of saying “yes” to God, and obedience. We talk through what it looks like to follow God even when you feel unqualified or overwhelmed. From wrestling with pride to the quiet conviction of the Holy Spirit, this conversation is not curated, it's confessed and vulnerable, and it's all about learning to trust God when the path feels uncertain and your heart feels unsure. If you've ever asked, “Am I doing enough?” or felt like your weaknesses disqualify your calling, this is for you. God's not waiting on your perfection. He's asking for your surrender.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
In this week's episode we are LIVE for our 100th episode of In Totality! I honestly can't believe we've reached this far in our podcast journey, but it's a true testament of God's faithfulness when we obey and give Him a serious yes. I'm joined by my best friend, Jackie Hill Perry, and we have an open conversation about sanctification, and the very real struggle of becoming more like Christ. We talk through the frustration of feeling stuck, the emotional weight of obedience, and why spiritual growth often feels slow and painful. This isn't a teaching moment, it's a transparent one. We don't just quote scripture, we live it. And sometimes, that looks like waiting, and asking hard questions. If you've ever felt like your effort isn't enough, or you're tired of fighting battles no one sees, this conversation is for you! God is not distant, He's refining you and He is with you.Even here. You're not failing. You're being reformed.I can't wait for you to hear this one! In this week's episode, I'm joined on the couch by Gloria Umanah for the very first time on In Totality, to share her story of survival, identity, and the war for her life.We unpack the seeds of trauma planted in childhood, the quiet despair masked by performance, and the miracle of choosing hope. Gloria opens up about her lifeversary, and how one whisper from God changed everything. If you've ever wondered if your pain disqualifies you from purpose, or questioned whether God sees your suffering, this conversation is for you. You're not too broken. You're not a burden. You are essential to the story God is writing.Tune in now!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
In this week's episode, I'm unpacking a powerful, dual-story moment in Scripture that has been ministering deeply to my heart—Jairus' daughter and the woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5.We explore what it means to pursue Jesus in desperation, to press through discouragement, and to discover that He often gives us more than we were even asking for. I share how this passage has encouraged me in a season of spiritual fatigue and waiting, and how God reminded me that He doesn't just heal—He restores identity. If you've ever begged God for just one breakthrough, or wondered whether He sees you while others receive their blessing, this conversation is for you. You're not forgotten. You're not overlooked. And you are still His child.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
In this week's episode, I'm joined by my brother, pastor and author Tim Timberlake to dive into his newest book, The Bumpy Road to Better. We talk about what it really looks like to walk with God through pain, doubt, and disappointment, when faith feels exhausting and the process feels slow. Tim opens up about seasons of deep hardship, learning to lead through pain, and discovering the difference between information about God and revelation from Him.Together, we unpack what it means to trust God in the wilderness, surrender doubt before it becomes an idol, and let Him turn wounds into scars that testify of His healing power. If you've ever wondered where God is in the waiting or felt weary in your faith, this conversation is for you.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
Forgiveness can sometimes feel like an unfair gift we have to give someone else. But what if it's actually God's prescription for our own hearts to heal? In this deeply personal episode, Lysa TerKeurst opens up about what it really looks like to practice forgiveness when it seems undeserved or out of reach. With honesty and tenderness, she shares insights from her own journey, offering practical guidance on processing pain, naming your hurt, and choosing obedience to God even when your heart hasn't caught up yet. Through this conversation, you'll learn: What biblical forgiveness is and what it isn't. Ways to handle real struggles: from navigating personal betrayals to extending grace when someone has hurt your child. How letting go doesn't mean letting someone keep hurting you.Resources From This Episode:Surviving an Unwanted Divorce by Lysa TerKeurst, counselor Jim Cress, and Dr. Joel Muddamalle. The Therapy & Theology Podcast, Season 10, with Lysa TerKeurst, Jim Cress, and Dr. Joel Muddamalle.Click here to download a transcript of this episodeWant More on This Topic?Watch the Therapy & Theology video on YouTube titled "How To Forgive When the Hurt Was So Unfair."
