St. Paul and his companions begin the second letter to the Thessalonians in grace and peace from the one true God. It is right for them to be thankful for this Christian congregation because their faith is growing and their love is increasing. This remains true even as they endure persecution and affliction for the sake of Christ. The apostle assures the Thessalonians that this does not mean that they have been separated from God's kingdom, but instead, they are counted among the members of God's kingdom. Together, they are waiting for the revealing of the Lord Jesus and His judgment upon all those who do not obey the Gospel. St. Paul thus prays for the Thessalonians, that God would keep them faithful and Jesus would be glorified in them. Rev. Samuel Wirgau, pastor at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Ossian, IN, joins host Rev. Timothy Appel to study 2 Thessalonians 1:1-12. To learn more about Bethlehem in Ossian, visit bethlehemossian.org. “Yearning for the Day of Christ's Returning” is a mini-series on Sharper Iron that studies St. Paul's two epistles to the Thessalonians. Although Paul's time in Thessalonica was brief, he had great affection for the Christians there. His two letters to the Thessalonians show us the joy that God gives us together in the Church and encourage us to live faithfully in expectation of Jesus' coming on the Last Day. Sharper Iron, hosted by Rev. Timothy Appel, looks at the text of Holy Scripture both in its broad context and its narrow detail, all for the sake of proclaiming Christ crucified and risen for sinners. Two pastors engage with God's Word to sharpen not only their own faith and knowledge, but the faith and knowledge of all who listen. Submit comments or questions to: listener@kfuo.org
Modern Conservatism is collapsing, and it isn't because of the Left. It's because the Right has abandoned biblical order, biblical loyalty, and biblical leadership. In this episode of Uncommon Sense, I'm examining how our so-called conservative leaders have traded Christianity for political convenience, elevating foreign loyalties, unbiblical theology, and female authority over God's clearly established design. When prominent figures openly choose Judaism over Christianity and Israel over America, we must ask: What exactly are we conserving anymore?Scripture is clear: Christianity is a patriarchy with God as its Head, Christ as King, and men called to lead in righteousness. A movement that rejects this order will inevitably rot from the inside out. This episode is a call to return to:Christ over cultureFaith over foreign allegianceGod's elect over globalist prioritiesBiblical men over platformed female personalitiesIf Conservatism wants to survive, it must first repent.--https://www.bible.com/
This week, we continue our sermon series through the book of Romans with a message from Pastor Jonathan. The passage for the sermon teaches us to watch for hypocrisy in ourselves; We may be satisfied with our standing with Christ but often do we overlook sins in our lives that we judge others for? In this talk, Pastor Jonathan helps us unpack the passage and what it may look like in our lives, challenging us to recognize and repent, knowing that God's kindness is intended to draw us to repentance.

Moss Brook Church Romans: The Power of the Gospel for Salvation | God's Righteous Judgment October 5th, 2025 Pastor Mike Booker
03 October 2025 Daily Devotion: “Praise for Righteous Judgment” Psalm 9:4 New Living Translation 4 For you have judged in my favor; from your throne you have judged with fairness. No matter what happens to us here on earth, no matter how our rights might be trampled or whatever is important to us might be crushed, we can know that eventually God, the Righteous Judge, will hand down His ruling, and all humandoubters, abusers, accusers, or persecutors will be overruled and punished. When God says we should not seek revenge upon our enemies because He'll be the avenger, He means just that! What joy we can embrace just by knowing that one day, either here on earth or in heaven, every offense ever committed against us will be avenged by God Himself. We can know that all wrongs will be made right! What joy is ours when we know that God's love for us is so high, wide, and deep that He'll correct every wrong ever done to us! God sees and hears our hurts. Trust Him to make things right.
We continue through the book of Esther.

This message is Part 5 of our Walking in Command series at Mosaic Church. Pastor Anthony Daley teaches on the importance of accountability in the Christian walk — why you can't do faith alone and why every believer needs a battle buddy. Drawing from John 14:15, Matthew 7:1–5, 2 Samuel 12, Psalm 51, and 1 Corinthians 5, this sermon explores what Jesus meant by “judge not,” how to live out God's commands together, and how to walk in grace and truth within community.

On today's episode of Uncommon Sense with Ginny Robinson, we're taking a hard look at Taylor Swift's new pornographic-themed album cover, The Life of a Showgirl. From the drinking and partying she parades as normal to her descent into porn culture, Swift has become a dangerous influence on young girls—and really, on everyone. We'll also address the cult-like following surrounding her, and why parents have a biblical responsibility to guard their children from this idolatry and from being exposed to Taylor Swift's sinful pornographic example. Darkness must be exposed, and the Word of God gives us the standard by which to measure it. We will also discuss how disgusting it is to excuse sin by simply labeling it “adult entertainment.” Unfriendly reminder: Civilization is currently collapsing. Let's actually do something about it?--https://www.thebrandsunday.com/
On this episode of Uncommon Sense with Ginny Robinson, we're addressing the troubling reality of the Epstein list and Donald Trump's failure to bring it to light, holding it up to the standard of biblical justice. God's Word commands that evil be exposed, not hidden in the darkness. I also take time to answer a variety of questions from you, my beloved audience.--https://policecoffee.com/collections/coffee
Romans Vol. 1 - Coming Under GracePaul warns that it's far easier to see and condemn the sins of others than to recognize our own, and that doing so reveals a dangerous hypocrisy that presumes on God's kindness instead of being led by it to repentance. 2 Thessalonians 1:7b-10
The Jewish people are gathered together in Jerusalem to celebrate the Feast of the Tabernacles, but behind closed doors they are curious about whether or not they will catch a glimpse of the man some are calling Messiah. They all seem to have differing ideas about Jesus but most are too afraid to discuss them openly. About halfway through the celebrations, Jesus presents himself and begins teaching but is soon confronted by his naysayers. What can be learned by the decisions Jesus makes? What can be learned by his response to the men who oppose him? What does it mean to judge or discern righteously?

Send us a messageLet us begin with the warning of Lord Jesus in Matthew 24:4: “See to it that no one deceives you!” With that sacred caution, in Matthew 24:24, our Beloved Savior revealed that there would be false Christs – false prophets – and false teachers among us – and that the enemy's deception would be so masterful and cunning – that even the elect would be in danger of being deceived. In both the Books Daniel and Revelation, God's Prophetic Word of Truth also makes certain that there will be a “One World Religious, Governmental, and Economic” Empire that will be ruled by the Antichrist for the seven-year period of the Tribulation. And that it will be a time of suffering that the world has never known before - or will ever know again. Only those who have been “born again” of the Spirit of the Living God will escapethis Righteous Judgment of the Lord God Almighty that will come upon the unbelieving of the world who rejected the love of the Truth so as to be saved. In this message, we expose the deceptive strategies the enemy is employing to lead as many as he can into his “One World” Religious deception – and most importantly how to be guaranteed freedom from his web of deception and ushered into Eternal Life in Jesus Christ the Lord!Support the showVisit our website: https://agapelightministries.com/

In this episode of Arise+Abide, Sally and Curtis delve into the prophetic words of Amos, a shepherd and fig farmer called by God to deliver a message to the northern kingdom of Israel. Reading from Amos 1 through 2:3, they explore a time of prosperity overshadowed by moral and spiritual decay. The discussion centers on God's pronouncements of judgment against surrounding nations, highlighting acts of violence, betrayal, and injustice. Sally and Curtis reflect on God's heart for justice, mercy, and righteousness, emphasizing the danger of harboring unchecked anger and the importance of repentance. Through the vivid imagery of Amos' warnings, listeners are reminded of God's compassion and the call to live with integrity and love for others. Tune in for insights on how ancient prophecies remain relevant today, revealing the enduring nature of God's justice and mercy in a broken world.
