Episode 303 we're shouting out Colorado, Denver! 303 Area Code baby! Terrell is a big broncos fan so hopefully this one is special with the Bros as they're back fresh off Mother's Day weekend. We open with the weekend recap of course before starting Rick Ross and French Montana's recent VERZUZ concert where after Rick Ross seems to be backpedaling on beef with Drake. Next the Bros give thoughts on Chris Brown's new album “BROWN”. The Bros discuss their 2 hour review as well as give thoughts on the project and how artists can keep fans excited. They talk about the recent HANTAVIRUS outbreak that's very close to home, Terrance's live basketball tweet makes him have to eat words in real time before discussing the Washington Wizards getting the number 1 pick in the upcoming draft. Terrance thinks this means DC sports is making a turnaround. There's a great topic about Witnessing Harrassment in the workplace. Both Terrance and Terrell give advice and experiences on how they dealt with witnessing harassment and being in a vulnerable position with a decision to make. Next, they discuss TV Shows returning years later and what the “TIME JUMP” does to the watching experience, Rihanna and Tyla's drama ends up becoming a DEBATE, Latto is retiring from Rap and there's a streamer doing everything he can to rage-bait black folks into a reaction.. but this says something about Rage-Bait culture. Lastly, The Bros talk about Drakes ICEMAN album coming this weekend and expectations for what's to come for the Birthday weekend. Follow Us on Twitter @MalloryBros9 for all updates! From the confirmed January 2026 filming start in Vancouver to the ten year time jump into a fragile Edo era, we look at how the story is evolving beyond the original book. We discuss the return of Toranaga and Blackthorne, the expanded ensemble cast, the creative team coming back, and why the long shoot likely points to a 2027 release. 00:00 - 00:05Shogun Season 2 confirmed and quick recap of how big Season 1 was00:05 - 00:18Filming starts January 2026 in Vancouver and what that means for production00:18 - 00:30Ten year time jump, deeper into the Edo era, and a more fragile political landscape00:30 - 00:40Toranaga and Blackthorne return, original supporting cast back, new faces joining00:40 - 00:52Creative team returning, the cost of big sets and costumes, and why the release will likely land in 202700:52 - 00:58Final thoughts and excitement for Season 2Shogun is officially getting a second season with filming set for January 2026 in Vancouver. The story jumps ten years ahead, placing us deeper into the Edo era with Toranaga in power but on unstable ground.Expect fewer large scale battles and more political maneuvering as Toranaga manages a fragile new alliance. Both Toranaga and Blackthorne return, played again by Hiroyuki Sanada and Cosmo Jarvis, alongside the original supporting cast and many new characters. The creative team, including key writers and directors from Season 1, is back, even though the show is now telling an original story beyond the book. The scale and cost of production suggest a long post production window, making a likely release sometime in 2027.“It kind of gives us an era when Toranaga is in power, but it is fragile.”“It will probably be less battles and more juggling this fragile new alliance that he is building.”“They are no longer pulling from the book, they are beyond that at this point.”“With the very expensive and long shoot, it is probably not going to release till 2027, but cameras are rolling.”“We have something happening that is incredible. I cannot wait for another season of Shogun.”If you enjoyed this breakdown of Shogun Season 2, make sure you subscribe to Geek Freaks Headlines on your favorite podcast app so you never miss a TV or movie news update. "Stephen Root (who voiced Bill Dauterive and Buck Strickland, among other characters) confirmed in an interview with ScreenRant that the show will fast forward to a time when Bobby Hill is all grown up. He also said that he and other returning voice actors started their table reads last month. "I think we're going to time jump in [King of the Hill] a little bit so that Bobby's going to be older, and it's going to be interesting," Root said. "We're starting table reads in April, so I'm so looking forward to it.""
