In heaven, there is a stream in a highland forest on the island we call Sri Lanka. The Temple of Comfort looks out over the cool, green mountains at the center of the island, not far from this clear stream. The ascended master we’re going to visit was and is described by Jesus as the Comforter, whose holy presence continues to bless all in our world. His name is his office. We have known him for a long time and so he’s comfortable sitting with us on sun-warmed rocks by the stream, to remind us about our God-given authority to take dominion in our world. God in us is the light in our world, whether we know it or not. He will, like Jesus, teach us that we have the need and authority to command archangels and that we can go with him wherever he goes, to bring comfort wherever there’s despair. He’s also a master of healing and works with agnostics and atheists who have been turned from the truth by those who have not been true to God. A long time ago, as we see time, there was an island in what used to be the Gobi Sea and there was a paradise there known as Shamballa. Who lived there, in this paradise? Why was it the spiritual capital of the world for thousands of years and why is it windswept desert now? This is the original hero story that will never end. The use of hemp products is growing in America, and it may seem that there are more questions than clear answers about the plant and its properties. Dr. Zachary Brym navigates many of these questions as he conducts research in the UF/IFAS Industrial Hemp Pilot Project. As an agroecologist, Dr. Brym researches the production of hemp, as well as its environmental impacts on the farm, in the surrounding areas, and in our communities. For more information on the UF/IFAS Industrial Hemp Pilot Project, visit the following resources:·      Fact Sheet Document- https://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/ss689·      Virtual Workshop- https://programs.ifas.ufl.edu/hemp/news/events/·      Program Website- https://programs.ifas.ufl.edu/hemp/Are you an educator? Given that the 2018 Farm Bill authorized the production of hemp and removed hemp and hemp seeds from the Drug Enforcement Administration's (DEA) schedule of Controlled Substances, it's likely Americans will see more products developed from the plant. Dr. Shelli Rampold discusses recent research she conducted on Floridians' opinions of hemp and hemp products, which she explains is largely neutral right now. She also explains how attitudes about hemp could change. For more information on the PIE Center's research on industrial hemp, visit https://piecenter.com/2020/10/05/stakeholder-engagement-and-on-farm-research-for-industrial-hemp-commercialization-in-south-florida-seedit/Audio Clip from "Reefer Madness” 1938, Directed by Louis J.
